Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops Trailer (With MP gameplay)
-CrF WarMachine- replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in Modern Warfare 3
I think there is actually going to be two different types of streak rewards for each player. You know how Call of Duty is in general, they're crowd pleasers. They would not be caught dead catering to the objective players alone. So what I think they'll do is put more offensive style streak rewards by getting a set amount of kills. Then they'll put in these "support" rewards in the form of point streaks. You will then be able to cycle between both types of Streaks. But as far as my early opinions on the game, I personally don't think it will be worth a full retail price of 60 dollars. Maybe after a few months have passed and I've heard good things about it, I will get it used for 40 bucks. But right now it seems way too similar to MW2. More like a patch than a full blown sequel. But its not like I hate MW2 by any means. I've been playing it alot recently. Since much of the B.S. has died down, it has become a much more fun, enjoyable experience. I just don't think I should cough up the dough just because it's yet another Call of Duty game. I'm really looking forward to Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3 to be honest. -
I gotta disagree with you there. I just checked—there are currently 568,438 people online on Zombies. That's a lot more than 30,000. Zombies is just as important to Treyarch as multiplayer is. And everyone knows it. I say they start dropping 3 multiplayer maps and two zombies maps on the dlc's. They could do it. Especially if this dlc sells well. Actaully its about 26,000 in Zombies, and 505,000 In multiplayer overall including zombies.

I think the map pack was an okay idea, not a great idea, but an okay idea. What some people don't realize is that there is about half a million people still playing multiplayer consistently, and about thirty to ninety thousand people on Zombies. So there is still a larger amount of players in multiplayer, contrary to popular belief. But since they did do an entire Zombies pack I would of preferred to see at least three brand new Zombie maps rather than the revamped maps. I mean its cool that they brought those classic maps to a larger audience but i would have rather seen it in a bundle later like they did in W@W, and not release it as a stand alone Map pack. Also i would like to say that I'm a bit dissapointed by treyarchs weapon selection in some of the more recent Zombie maps. Is it so much to ask of them to add an Ak 47, an M60, Skoprion, or the Mac 11. The wonder weapons are great and all but some variety in the other weapons would be greatly appreciated. I hope that the moon map will change this trend.

Was anybody dissapointed when (SPOILERS)

That would be beautiful. I think that they will still stay within the realm of Black Operations but move it over to the 70's and 80's. From Woods rescue at the end of the vietnam war to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 1980's. I think this era would provide alot of content for Call of Duty Black Ops II. -
Why All the Complaining? I'll Tell you Why!
-CrF WarMachine- replied to Zieghail's topic in Black Ops
The only issue i Have so far is the matchmaking. It is so difficult to find a good match with a full party. But I'm sure this will be fixed soon. Other than that the game is incredible. MP is great, Single player is epic, and the zombie maps are incredible, Especially "Five". I dont care for Kino that much. Its great and all but it seems too similar to WaW. Maybe that was the Map Pack 4 that we all wanted. -
Nice!!! I already have the game, but i havent had time to play it. So far its sounding awesome!!!

Reserved as well.....

Apparently!!!

Absolutley!!! I wasnt surprised that IGN gave that score, but i was just pissed. But theyre not the only ones. Eurogamer gave it a 8/10. All the other reviewers gave them 9 or higher, or 5 out of 5 stars. So yeah i think they have beef with treyarch. Or they're getting paid by infinity ward on the side, and giving a lower score. This has happened before. Eidos did it with the first Kane and lynch. They told him to give it higher score. The reviewer said no and ended up giving it a 6.5 and got fired for it.

Armed robbers snatch 100 copies of COD:BO.

Didn't some guy Kill another guy over a PS3 when it first came. I heard it somewhere in the news. But this is crazy too. :o -
Don't have yet, but from what i've heard from people that have it, they say its probably one of the most, if not THE most balanced CoD game ever made!!!!! Which is great news.

Isnt it a secret Acheivement. I think you have to blow up each of the Mannequin heads within a certain time limit.

What weapons are you guys looking forward to using in MP?
-CrF WarMachine- replied to SHORTZ's topic in Black Ops
That Olympia does look beast. Ill probably use that the most. And then maybe either the AK or the L96. As far as perks go I probably will be using warlord alot, especially since i can now have scavenger equipped at the same time. And i will also experiment with Hacker quite a bit. -
The last time I saw the spectre was on the MP reveal on september 1 and I agree it did looked pretty powerful. But its been more than two months since then, so I would imagine they have tested the game for anything that may be overpowered or unbalanced and have fixed it already, so im not too worried. 8-)

I'm diggin that nuke ending. Maybe some other maps have unique Cinematic endings like Battlefield Bad Company 2, or MoH. That would be a nice little addition.

Is Reznov a Defector, or a spy. I say this because in World at War he was all patriotic and for the Soviet Union. During the Cold War the U.S. was busy tracking down possible communists who were spreading their ideals throughout the states. Some of which were thought to be Spy's working for the KGB. Perhaps he back-stabs you towards the end. :o

Greatest. Video. Ever.

For those who have resisted watching the leaks...
-CrF WarMachine- replied to nazizombiesrocks's topic in Black Ops
I don't really mind leaked footage. I'll eventually see everything anyway, and trust me, how the game plays and how it feels is much more important than how it looks. MW2 is a great example of this. All the gameplay vids before the release and all the trailers were cool and all, but once you played them, it was very different. And also, Ive seen a lot of leaked SP, MP, and zombie gameplay. As far as SP goes, some things were spoiled, but i still don't actually know anything about the main story yet. The MP has been pretty much revealed in its entirety and Zombies has revealed a new story element but there are a lot of things that are still unanswered. -
If only they can do this type of video with Zombie content. Hour longs worth of zombie footage ahhhhhh, If only......
-
Its been several hours and some leaked vids are still up. Is Treyarch OR Activision letting it slide.......
-
I don't know what anyone else thinks, but i thought it was AWESOME!!!!! Great song, new footage, JFK, What else do you want?! Yeah I'm a bit dissapointed that there was no official zombie trailer, but for me, the leaked footage makes up for it. ;)

Germany needs to lighten up as far as violence goes. But at the same time I totally understand why they would ban something that may in fact have something to do with Nazism.

no change :(

Yeah i think they used Ice Cube as a response for infinity ward using 50 Cent.
