Honestly, I don't think the world at war map are completely in order, I believe that Verruckt is before NDU since NDU is the second outbreak. As for the quote, if nothing us shown in Shangri-La regarding something about Ascension, I'm gonna say it's a 4th wall comment. There is a bit of evidence between clothing, facial hair, facial injuries, and lack of blood on clothing to support Shangri-La being before Ascension, and only the Gersch quote, even though it's pretty damning. I stick to my theory, but maybe we'll find out more on Tuesday when I expect to release the trailer and inside Xbox video.

Also according to NASA, the July 9, 1945 eclipse was total, but Europe never saw it total, only US, Canada, Russia, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland

Ya, I tried to see if it was lunar eclipse maybe, and it wasn't, but apparently this is classified as partial, so just maybe? Idk

It looks total, but if that is the closest I'll go with partial. Sorry if that sounded bad, if partial, July 1946 works, if total then may 1947 works. Just google Der Riese solar eclipse in images and tell me what you truly think, regardless that we want partial.

Intersesting... after the SNN outbreak it would probably be considered a haunted lumber mill then. Makes sense for richtofen to go there then, to hide from the rest of 935 and maybe the illuminati, as no one would search in a haunted abandoned lumber mill. Just my little theory. Well, I wouldn't say he was involved in the experiments, he probably wouldn't think it very honorable, but he could have been a guard or just stationed where the experiments were held. Im started to agree with you Tac Insert...but what still gets me is that quote that Dempsey said in the room...you know how sometimes they announce real things, like the powers out great or like hey Treyarch can we get a new objective here and stuff like that...maybe its a huge paradox and Richtofen is trying to change history? :shock: :shock: What you are referring to is the 4th wall when they mention a player or treyarch.

Clothing of the zombies looks kind of pesantish to me, but I don't know the styles of tibet. Takeo actually grew facial hair in kino, before that he didn't though. They don't really seem to have injuries (except the doc's scratch, but I'm not even sure if it is a scratch) the clothes are torn and they do have a lot of blood on them, but the blood can be cleaned. The clothes.. who knows? we have to wait and see. Actually considering it, doesn't it make sense to pack more clothes? There is my take on this, but we have to wait. Their quotes might give us a hint to it. There is too much evidence both ways, but I'm making a Der Riese timeframe thread if you want to comment on it when its up. But what's next? Do you think it's OK if I say Takeo was in Unit 731? Would that hurt the story even if it's not confirmed?

The outbreak.. not sure, probably immediately. Split screen has no eclipse. I'd say we teleported from SNN, and it must be relevant. I'll continue to discuss in a few hours, gotta go for now. Ok, and it turns out I was looking in the wrong section. Would you consider this a Partial or Total Eclipse? If Total, then it's the previous date, if PARTIAL, then according to the NASA site, there were 4 Partial Solar Eclipses in 1946: January 3rd, 1946 over South America and Antarctica. (Not the one) May 30th, 1946 over the South Pacific. (That's where I assume SNN to be, any eclipse there?) June 29th, 1946 over North Europe and North USA (Could this be the one!?) November 23rd, 1946 over USA, South America, and the Carribean. (Doubtful) So it appears that the one on the 29th could be the date. So Richtofen kills Maxis at the end of 1945, goes to SNN, and returns to DR at the end of June! Sound plausible? *EDIT* Only 4 Solar Eclipses between 1941 to 1950 were over Europe: September 10, 1942 July 9, 1945 June 29th, 1946 April 28, 1949 It appears that's the ONLY one to fall within the time period.

Well, They would have been in SNN an extremely long time then, if it went from 1946-47, unless it was the end of that year, which could make sense. Eclipse determines the stay because they don't really last long, and it stays the whole map. UNLESS we are on split screen, so maybe it is pointing to when we leave (the day of the eclipse). True, how long after the Maxis murder do you think the breakout was? I can't tell worth a damn. What's happens on split screen? And do you think they considered changing environments in DR with the Eclipse? And it could point to when we leave, that possible. Also, like in Kino when we enter the map on the mainframe via teleportation, you think we teleported from SNN? Also, do you think the Eclpise is relevant to the date?

To Zombie: Well we know it's after OCT 1 and if 1946 sounds about good does 1947 sound that bad? I agree it's out there but IDK if it's improbable. And why do you think the Eclipse effects how long we stay? To gryfo: Not a bad theory, plausible maybe

Ok, I posted this earlier about DR and SNN. The time periods. So we are in Der Riese testing, we go to SNN to play, and then back to DR to see a Solar Eclipse eh? We know that we can stay in a map for a while, so the nearest Solar Eclipse after October 1, 1945 is May 20, 1947, and I think it would be visible from GER. So how does that sound? And would that put SNN around 1946?

I say that DR to Kino is definite. What if because Ascension is in the past of CoTD, they went to CoTD first, but knew what was going down in Ascension and said it? Or it's a 4th wall trying to get fans to realize it's not a bad result this time. And lol thanks, since carbon locked the thread, I had to put it. IDK, but I do remember there being a break in action and hes says it's only the beginning, so maybe they were sleeping and the first zombie infected Smokey, and it all started from there.
