It's certainly possible, but it's odd to refer to Michael Faraday as a blacksmith... Like that just doesn't really make sense considering all of his accomplishments in science and not in crafting, so it's hard to say who that person was. An interesting thing to think about would be what if Maxis went to Buried after being teleported and built the Pack-a-Punch while there, making him the blacksmith. Not saying I think this is the case, but it's interesting to think about.

It was an alphabet with symbols and English translations. The idea (currently, at least) is that we ,arch the WW audio cues up with these symbols and learn the next step.

As I said above, there's no evidence to suggest that it happened that way. To say it did means you're introducing ideas that are entirely unfounded.

The new DLC trailer is out and in it, you can see the Apoithocon language with symbol and word translations. Apply these to the audio cues we've been hearing and we'll have it in no time.

But you're introducing a lot of non-existent evidence when you say that. You're suggesting that the man in the calls somehow got Jack to kill his snitch, when there's nothing to show this (and evidence that may actually contrast it). You're making large, relatively unfounded assumptions by saying this is the case.

Haha I've certainly listened plenty, scripted them even, but like I said I wasn't convinced. This seems to be a common idea, but it isn't actually correct. The man in the telephone calls didn't cause these people to murder, and there was no manipulation by him to make them do these acts. One could make the case that Nero and maybe Floyd did what they did because of the man in the call, but certainly not Jack or Jessica. To say the man in the call influenced their decision on killing someone would require introducing evidence that doesn't exist. Here's an example: Jack found out that the mayor was cracking down on corruption and killed his snitch, *then* the man in the phone call asked his partner questions, and *then* Jack's partner called him to tell him someone came by. The pre-ritual incident (where the man in call intervenes) was *after* he killed his snitch, not before. We know this because, first, one could interpret the newspaper scene as meaning he found out via the newspaper. Second, Jack never received the call from his partner, meaning he didn't know the man in the call was even relevant, meaning he had no influence on Jack to commit his murder.

I will definitely be waiting then haha, because like I said, I have yet to hear a good explanation and I'm convinced that one doesn't really exist. We don't know enough about either character.

It's certainly possible that Mr. Rapt is the Shadow Man, but I've yet to hear a compelling argument making that case, that's why I didn't bring it up.

I say Rapt because the 't' is so prevalent, it made me think there was something before it. As @Cheesegrater28 said, then I heard the 'p'

I'd like to hear a little more about you saying Dr. Richtofen is Mr. Rapt, because I've heard this before and while I love the idea, I have a few questions. In the telephone calls, there's one individual who is in all of them, and it's assumed to be Mr. Rapt. We assume this because in the calls, the journalist says he's given Mr. Rapt the contact information for those relevant. Since the man in the phone call is not Dr. Richtofen, how do you reconcile the general belief that the individual is Mr. Rapt?

I believe that the only other person he references is O'Leary. And as of now, I'm not going to say it's a reference to him, though I won't at all be surprised if it is. As for the hospital, it is in the cipher.

I noticed this as well, but didn't want to jump to any conclusions. He doesn't mention Al by name, but this is a full quote for anyone who cares: "I once busted a little weasel who tried to use one of these to blast open a bank safe. Dumbass nearly blew himself up."

The map translation is actually The Iron Dragon, I believe, so I don't think that's going to happen. Or rather, it still could, but I don't think this is something that points to it. As for Maxis, I'm very intrigued to hear the radios and learn more about him. I don't think he's actually the squid in the sky, but he definitely has something odd going on about him.

Agreed, pretty much. Let's get back to the Wunderwafee DG-2's and away from the Apothicon Servants. EDIT: I would kinda like to see the Bow and Arrow. That would be interesting.

The thing under the finger almost looks like the back drop behind the mainframe to me. Don't play that often though, so I may be wrong.

So first, the vibe I get from this map is German dungeon porn, and the Iron Dragon is likely related to Dr. Richtofen. I also speculate that Jessica Rose will be here. I'm almost sure about this. This was my understanding as well. I suppose technically unconfirmed, but the strength of speculation is rather high I'd argue. So I'll throw in that I also think this is what happened, but I concede to @NaBrZHunter that there's literally no evidence haha.
