  1. It's because we have things like alternate universes or realities, which Richtofen even mentions by name. Just because one map, in an alternate reality is in 1996, it doesn't automatically mean that they all are. Same way that Ascension is before Kino in time, but after it when we we play there. These maps aren't required to be linear, they all have their own time as a new reality is made every time there is time travel, which is virtually every map. As for Alcatraz, that's a theory, but I personally don't agree with it right now so I'm now basing anything off of that theory.
  2. I was playing last night with a friend and we had about 15 ghost lady's coming out of the mansion at one time, all within like a foot of each other. I don't remember if we had the Paralyzer or not, but it seems that we were lucky to not have it crash.
  3. Not only that. Why would an entire American town be underground in Africa? I thought the consensus on that was after Maxis' rockets destroyed the Earth it shifted the Tetonic plates and moved continents, kinda like prehistoric times and this town ends up on an African plain. I thought that at one point too, but in the Die Rise cutscene we see what the world looks like and the countries haven't moved at all, they've kept their shape. The surface cracked, but doesn't seem to have shifted. Nonetheless, I don't see just a small area moving that far. As with Pangea, tectonic shifts are generally very large chunks of land, and this appears to be a small area.
  4. Tesla is a very important character in my opinion, whether directly or indirectly, he plays his role! Those dates still give me goosebumps haha.
  5. I played Resolution 1295 for a few hours last night and I had PermaJug, playing split screen on my friends account. However, he lost it during the game but I was able to keep it.
  6. Maxie's goal is to destroy the entire Earth, killing everyone on it in an attempt to find his daughter and save the inhabitants from Richtofen's tyrannical rule. Richtofen's goal is to heal the Earth so that he can play games with the inhabitants and control them from Aether. Hope this helps :)
  7. They very well may have only seen the Town, purely depending on how they came in. I think Marlton came out of the shelter in the tunnel, promptly running towards the Bus Depot and eventually ending up in Town, going in reverse as the bus. We know they never saw the farm, but that's about the only submap they make a reference to (that I've found).
  8. Blonde haired white male?! I think Aryan No not really, but would be funny lol. This part is very true, it reminds me of a quote section from the movie, Midnight in Paris, where an aspiring author asks Ernest Hemingway to read his novel. Gill would represent Al, and Hemingway is the Editor. Gil: I would like you to read my novel and get your opinion. Ernest Hemingway: I hate it. Gil: You haven't even read it yet. Ernest Hemingway: If it's bad, I'll hate it. If it's good, then I'll be envious and hate it even more. You don't want the opinion of another writer.
  9. It can not be your last example: Can it not be Richthofen Tranzit -> Maxis Die Rise -> Richthofen Buried All players must have all maps with the same person, either Maxis or Richtofen, with all NavCards linked, that's the only way to get the button to appear. From there, you get the 12 square chart that will display who has completed what Easter Eggs on the appropriate side. All 12 must be the same color.
  10. So how come you think she chose this house to be in, as opposed to their English house? Who knows I suppose.
  11. I wouldn't say that comparison is very accurate, one is more of a dropped gameplay feature as opposed to storyline information. I'd compare it to the Mars in the game files that weren't ever mentioned my name, but is in the coding, and we still took that as canon. I think this is just as canon as most things, really. You can still see the red mountain though. You don't see "Russman". This is just as canonical as Arthur Arlington. You guys can debate if you want, but I'm outta here. The Resolution 1295 cutscene hints towards it in my opinion, when Russman asks if that's his first or last name, and no one knows. But that's just me, I see this as very plausible.
  12. I think they died in London, but the house was moved over somehow and her ghost followed the house. So... you think a single house walked? slided? got de-and-reconstructed? I think they just moved... It's also possible that they had a house in the Wild West. Throughout history, many well off Englishman bought houses in this era and built their Victorian-style houses to give homage to their mainland, it was quite common. So while they died in London, I see it just as likely that the ghost came back to this house for whatever reason. Is this what you mean by moved?

  14. I think they're trying to push the dialogue more, it gives us a lot of information as-is, so I don't expect to see any.

  16. I just don't see how it could be a coincidence. Like with Abigail, I let that one slide, but it's not as if Russman is some common name. There's no reason to believe, that given the time, they couldn't be the same person. Brock would've had to of gotten out of Shangri-La, but it would explain how he knew about Zombies and all this stuff since he worked for Broken Arrow. Lots to come if this is true, and I don't see (yet) why it couldn't be.
  17. There's just so little information about her. Mentioned one time on his wiki page, and a "Find a Grave" site and that's about it. Although, her fathers name was Edward. That's all I can find though.
  18. Nah, not really. I've had someone go through them before. I'm just waiting on a second source to confirm that Brock Russman thing. Not because I don't trust you, but because it's such a big development that it requires more than one person, y'know?
  19. No it likely says that on all of them, but people really only search for PC because it's the easiest. My mind is... blown. What....
  20. His surname is in the gamefiles, he is referred to as "Brock Russman" multiple times. I have never seen this, I feel like it would be more public if this was the case. Can you provide the evidence?
  21. Haha yeah it made sense, but it's slightly inaccurate. Shangri-La must come after Ascension, you are correct, however not for that reason. Samantha does not make an appearance until Moon, when we see her inside of the MPD, the black pyramid on that map. The reason that Shangri-La must come after Ascension is because characters directly reference the map, meaning they've been there before: Tank Dempsey: "Ancient temples, Russian cosmodromes, being stuck in a dark closet with Richtofen. Ugh, what an adventure." - wpck_upgrade_wait_0 Takeo Masaki: "It's no Lunar Lander, but it will suffice." - vox_plr_2_mine_see_1
  22. MurderMachineX, here's a better image for you that MrRoflWaffles sent me.
  23. I think of tampering with something as changing it, not adding to it. Like if there was writing there, which was written over. Not blank stone that was written on. Just a minor difference in thought process, nothing major :)
  24. If the last map name ends in a Y then I will believe it, however for now I'm not holding my breath.
  25. I personally don't expect it this time around, but who knows.
