  1. The morse code says, "The future is ours to destroy". Video below by our very own MrRoflWaffles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwXudiFx73k GwXudiFx73k
  2. Well the quotes by Richtofen aren't from the bunker I don't believe, they are coming through the power boxes on the sides of the house. I could be wrong, but I don't see them as being simple recordings that are there to fool us.
  3. "Nuketown Zombies is set during the events of Moon, and after the end of the multiplayer level from the original Black Ops game. A group of radiation scientists are investigating the Nuketown remains and discover soldiers that have been revived by Element 115 from a nearby Nevada base. The zombie soldiers attack the radiation scientists and turn them, and after receiving a distress signal, the base in Nevada sends in CIA and CDC agents to investigate. Upon arrival in Nuketown the agents lose communication with Hangar 18 and become stranded…setting the stage for Nuketown Zombies." That is from the Black Ops 2 site, so as we can see, the CIA and CDC were sent into Nuketown to investigate the turning of the radiation scientists into Zombies. They are there to see what causing the disease was, in my opinion. We are uncertain as to how the Zombies spread their infection, but up to this point almost all of the outbreaks have been isolated events that relate to the area we are in. In my opinion, the entire world is not infected, just the places we go are due to the nature of history the location deals with. The CIA's involvement is an interesting one, but we know that the government as a whole is involved, not just the CIA, as John F. Kennedy seems to know about them prior to FIVE. The CIA has always been uncoventional, like with the Bay of Pigs for example, they're willing to go out on a limb to get what they want. I'm thinking the CIA are in it for the weaponry they could possess, since we can see all the weapons in the labs of FIVE. Green Run is just North of the Hanford Site in Washington. Green Run was "a secret U.S. Government release of radioactive fission products on December 2–3, 1949." So basically, they released a ton of chemicals into the surrounding environment and if you put a litt twist on it and say there was Element 115 in the released chemicals, you've got your source of the outbreak in Green Run.
  4. If Paris is a map, I don't see it being anything other than the finale. The community has hyped the map so much that they'd want to make amazing just for them, so I see it either being a finale or not happening.
  5. I can answer these two with one link, killing two birds with one stone!! http://www.callofduty.com/blackops2/seasonpass Nuketown Zombies is set during the events of Moon, and after the end of the multiplayer level from the original Black Ops game. 6. "It seems some new cargo’s aboard and needs to be delivered." - Dr. Maxis in Green Run Wow, this is really crazy. I'm not sure what to make of all this.
  7. This is indeed true, I've seen it. I'm glad someone finally posted it, I never got around to it. At the SDC spawn, there's a building to the right, just past a blue car. There's a computer on the back corner. When looking at the computer, the left wall is a whiteboard with sticky notes on it. One says "zombies are coming" and the other says "fix turbines" with an X through it.
  8. The Nevada Test Site was established in 1951, yes, however tests continued all the way until 1992.
  9. I will leave this here for you to show you my evidence of the Sedan Crater not being the location of Nuketown:
  10. That makes sense, I can see that. However, you aren't helping your own case here. You're stating that they have access to weapons way before they came out, which supports the idea of the map actually being earlier and not later. Also, do you not realize that Treyarch has confirmed, like truly confirmed, that Nuketown zombies happens right after multiplayer Nuketown, and multiplayer Nuketown happens in the 1960's era.
  11. That was my bad TFG, I misinterpreted. Well many of the German scientists escaped up the Elbe River, including Steiner and about a half dozen others. We aren't sure what happened to Harvey Yena because he's only mentioned twice and they don't hint anything towards his future. We have a better idea for Peter McKay though, as Richtofen says he tricked him. They got their Element 115 from the Chicora Meteor Event in Pennsylvania, as referenced on the walls in Verruckt, which state the exact time and day of the meteor. As for the Ray Gun, they did it to gain superiority. They wanted the super weapons, which is why there's the Winters Howl, Teleporter base, Death Machine, and Thundergun in the labs of FIVE.
  12. So because the weapons make close to no sense for even the timeline of the campaign, as you even state, would you agree it is safe to say we can't use them as evidence for a map?
  13. The weapons are in no way canon. Lets take a map we know relative date of, "FIVE" in 1963. In that map are the following weapons, all created after we play the map. I didn't include the numerous mystery box weapons because those can be argued for the sheer fact they are in the box. MP5k: 1976 PM63: 1965 AK74u: 1979 So anyway, those are a few examples of why weapons aren't canon in deciding the time period of a map.
  14. Truer words were never spoken. I have been around for one and a half years, and I'm just now to the point where I get noticed. It's been a long time coming, but if you stick around long enough, you'll learn some tricks of the trade about this site. right.... but this is a website.... so your trying to say that because im new to the site that i cant be taken seriously? this is a site to explore and share, in what situation does my seniority count? do i get access to different pages or secret knowledge? im sorry if thats how you feel. to me it seems like bullying. yeah youve been here for a while and im not disrespecting anyone who helped make this site what it is now, ill respect you the same as i respect EVERYONE on this site. I may not know everything about zombies but i know enough, and i can tell when someone is knowledgeable and when they are guessing. hell alot of this site is guess work and some sounds stupid. but i give them my opinion and be respectful all the same as i would for the creator of this site. i really dont get why seniority is even talked about in any context on this site. i see no reason at all to turn this site and its community into a hierarchy this site is ABOUT CoD no? honestly. maybe im the asshole, i certainly FEEL like the asshole just taking my time to post THIS. I dont wanna be the "rebel without a cause" or someone who stirs up shit for no reason, but i completely disagree with anyone trying to tell me they have status over me on a FORUM. i mean no disrespect as every question i asked i genuinely would like an asnwer to. The idea of site seniority, in my opinion, is a very valid one. Being a senior member does not get you any extra sections that you have access to, it does not make you more important. The idea of seniority is that the longer you are on this forum, the more you become known. That is a fact and nothing is going to change that. It is identical in life, you're born and gradually make a name for yourself. Therefore, it makes perfect sense in a forum. You ask if a new member can't be taken seriously, or why seniority matters when sharing information, but the simple truth of it isn't because they are more important, it's because they're well respected and know what they're doing. People have seen how they operate and gotten used to how they post, and over time, as with anything in life, a trust has been formed. You trust that what they are saying is true because they have been here a while, have made a name for themselves, and have done so with respect and truth. They have proven themselves as trustworthy, many-a-times due to their length on this forum. That changes, it varies. PINNAZ and InfestLithium are examples, in my eyes. They have not been here very long but I respect them so damn much because they have well thought posts (both grammatically and in coherency), speak with respect, have posted truthful things, and they built a name for themselves. It can be done by anyone, not just seniors.
  15. Exploring the rest of the Easter Egg is fine in my opinion, as long as they keep it to something logical and coherent, as well as being willing to try their own theories instead of asking other people to. The story does need more participants however, that's for sure.
  16. Every single one, I believe.
  17. This. Retroactively! 3arc did not realize the potential of the game mode, and have been scrambling to figure out a way to implement it into the main theme/plot of Zombies. Now it's up to us to figure it out. I mean, think about it, why the hell would there be US Marines in Germany after the war? The level description tells us: "You drove them deep into the heart of the Reich, you thought they were dead. You thought Wrong." OKAY! So why are we not playing as Russian soldiers? The whole element of US Marines being the playable characters just throws me for a loop! Cheers! My theory is that they were getting things from Der Riese during the Massacre at Der Riese. They grabbed Element 115, which we know to have electrical properties, and it may have downed the plane. If not that, then perhaps Element 115 from the battlefield it was flying over disrupted it all. Point is, the plane crashed with four U.S. Marines inside of it, the "why" is what I don't understand. Why it crashed is a mystery, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to Element 115. One thing I had considered was if the Americans had built the place in an attempt to get an understanding. I mean they said that their Soviet allies were at Nacht, so they built a replica. All of these are me just throwing out ideas, by the way, I'm not stating any of these as fact. Feel free to rip them to shreds, as that will get us steps closer to finding the truth.
  18. Don't create a new topic, that will just take of up space when it could be posted here. Treyarch has said that a nuketown takes place in the beloved 1960's town, and that Moon is during it. Call of the Dead and Shangri-La are both after that, therefore they'd have to be in a state of post-nuke, yet they are not. That means that Zombies is not in one timeline. It really isn't possible based on current knowledge.
  19. I do not, no. I intend to do just that. To prove a point, you do what you can. I can't confidently say I am wrong until I can verify that I am 100% wrong. This could be the same thing as Ludvig vs Ludwig, we'll have to see. The weapons can't be used, that's what we're trying to say. It can't take place in one timeline, otherwise the story would not make any sense.
  20. I am not, Richtofen refers to it as both throughout the maps. If you can prove me wrong, go for it, but I've listened to it many times and specifically hear MDT. I will go back through, however, and make sure.
  21. To go along with that, Richtofen sometimes refers to the teleporters as MDT's. Multi-Dimensional Teleporter, anyone? Plus the quote on Moon after getting a QED: "Nothing happened, atleast in this reality." - powerup_antipts_plr_1
  22. Wow, I've never seen this. Good thread! I think that it shows the Americans taking the technology of the Germans. I mean in FIVE, we all know about the chalkboards and Ray Gun, implying German technology. However, we've also got the Thundergun as well as the blueprints and 3D model of the Ascension rocket. It could be a result of Paperclip, but I think it just goes with what we already knew.
  23. Someone created a George Romero twitter last year and trolled everyone. I have a feeling this is that type of ordeal again.
  24. I was under the impression it had no 115, therefore was not a Wonder Weapon.
  25. I think that what he means is that the bus uses either fuel or electricity. You're saying it can't be gas because it never fuels and he's saying the EMP would have taken out the gas bus. From what I see, you're agreeing. As for my own personal conjecture, can we not say that the bus has gas in it already? As for if it is electric, I'm pretty sure the EMP would've taken that out too.
