Terminal? Do you mean Bus Depot?
-
Haha, Yavol is not a character! Jawohl is german for "yes indeed". -___- Well then... Looks like I need to take German. I understood Castro just fine since I know Spanish, but that did me no good xD
-
Do you mean more perk spaces on the map, like places for them to fall? I assume it's that way so there is a truly random system for where then can go.
-
I had a feeling that's what it was, thank you very much for that one. I want to figure out who this Yavol character is, he mentions him/it twice.
-
One of the common ways is to set up guest controllers and turn them off just before the match will end. Either that, or convince someone in the lobby to back out.
-
Well yes, the Eiffel Tower being used as a broadcasting tower is a popular idea. The only thing I was pointing out is if you planned on incorporating it with TranZit, how you planned on doing it.
-
The bus is very intriguing, there is so much mystery around it. The blue eyes are making me think Richtofen for sure. Not to mention, some of the quotes the driver says really strike me as something that is not programmed into his mainframe. As for where we will be going after this, it's hard to say. I was convinced at first that the Reactor site in TranZit was a HAARP station due to his quotes, but now I realize that not to be true. He has quotes about Groom Lake, Bohemian Grove, HAARP Research Station, and someone said Grand Canyon. With that, there's a lot of options for us to go to and you may need to add a few states. Paris is an odd one for me, only because it does not fall in Washington so I am not sure how we plan to incorporate it into TranZit, unless the point is that we don't and we have our original characters. One thing that confuses me greatly about the bus is the name. I will quote here what I put elsewhere.
-
Any ETA for the rest of the quotes? Way and I have scripted the three in here already (See my signature) an we're both eager to see the rest! :D

The Nuketown song is activated by knifing the three Teddy Bears, like in previous maps. Those locations are: Teddy 1: In the Bus Teddy 2: Upstairs in one of the rooms on top of the bed Teddy 3: This is just outside the map, go outside one of the houses (the back garden after you've opened the doors), go to the left & there is a fence area, go through there, there is a little gap in the fence where you can see a teddy. That was taken from Tom852's thread: viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25013

These are some of the funny quotes that stuck out to me: "Stay behind the yellow lines at all times, or you'll be sorry asshole!" "Everyone off the bus! It's time to get murdered underground." "Fuck you! Get your ass off my bus." "This bus is out of order. A replacement driver has been notified and will be here in approximately 123 years... You're all fucked."

[Beginner's Guide] Every info in one sheet
Tac replied to Tom852's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Instead of increasing your rate of fire to 133% like usual, it splits every bullet into two so basically doubles the damage of your weapons to 200% effective (assuming my math is correct). I am not aware if there are certain weapons it will not work with. -
I'm almost positive that in Marlton's case alone, he traveled via the bus to Hanford. He was stuck inside the fallout shelter when the nuke/EMP went off, and then we hear the bus honking in the map.
-
Haha same here, I literally cracked up laughing from that one. I had to take a break from scripting just to catch my breath again xD
-
I don't believe that the Vril-Ya are controlling the Zombies, no. What would their reasoning be for doing that?

I made this thread from Waffles' video and some of the files were a little hard to understand, but I took a stab at them. All the ones I couldn't be certain on should have times next to them referencing when they appear in the video. I also have *inauduble* if I really have no clue, so any help on those would be appreciated. This is a small portion of a much larger thread coming out this weekend, so get excited! Click below to check out other scripted quotes: Bus Driver: viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25339 Maxis: viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25334 "Oh look, you got the Wunderwaffe DG-2! Ha, just kidding! Hahaha." "It's like playing 'don't touch the lava' but with real lava! Hahaha." "Is that all the damage those missiles did? I was hoping for less ground and more lava..." "I remember doing that just to anger that little girl!" "Oh his screams are so delightful!" "Ah, this building looks familiar." "No power, no juggernog. You have it easy compared to how they had it." "It looks like a Max Ammo but I can't be sure, I can only see everything at the same time." "That gift was just for you, and you throw it away! I think I'm offended." "Speed Cola! Oh how I miss that invigorating taste." "Ah, the best drink of them all." "One of them is down!" "Only one of them remains, haha, show no mercy!" "Two enemies are dead, hahaha." "Two left, let them suffer!" "Three of them are down!" "Three enemies remain." "Now we need the 115, and the only place to get that is from their flesh... THEIR FLESH! You must test the 115 on the undead by killing them, and boy do you need a bunch of it. Get busy!" "Ein, zwei, drei, vier! Jawohl, induce the electricity now, you can use it only once!" "You know, I used to be in your shoes? Then I became an all-powerful omnipotent being!" "Sometimes my pretties need help... ATTACK!" "Hahaha bye bye." "Oh this is good, you've accomplished much. But to activate the computer you must have the little Nav Card thingy, which plugs into the computer thingy. Don't worry your little brain about what it does or how it works, just go find it!" "Crushed beneath the heel!" "Fetch me their souls." "Double points." "Drop one of these right here and.." "Yeah, yeah you did it. Soon this beautiful planet will be healed once more and the flesh will cover the Earth! Oh what a glorious day that will be for you!" "You will be the hero that has saved all of the Earth... FOR ME TO PLAY WITH!" "Oh good job, wonderful! You've done well my friend, but this is not a sprint, this is a marathon! Of your group, you're the only one who seems to be able to hear me, so you must convince your deaf friends to heat up the obelisk. Setting a puny fire will not be enough, it must reach an extreme temperature. Now, if only you knew how to build a portable engine of some sort which might grow very hard. Hmmm... some sort of jet engine with an afterburner? Oh what, you do? Oh goodie goodie, so why are you still standing here listening to voices in your head? Get to it schweinhund (pig-dog), or Maxis will kill you all!" "*coughs loudly* Oh, excuse me, just getting used to the Aether. *inaudible* Ah, right." 4:21 "Oh wonderful, but now too much power is flowing into the obelisk. You must reduce the incoming power by a factor of 4." "Time for a Fire Sale!" "*inaudible*, you need the power, make with the flicker flicker again Yalov." "Ahaha we will work together against the zombies, yeah? Co-Op time, so much fun! Wonderful! You're on two teams and only one team makes it out alive, so... Good luck." "*inauduble*, feel the thrill of victory!" "Here zombie, let me help you." "Idiots! You have missed a step somewhere. First the hot, then the flesh, then the electricity! You are almost useless. If I wanted a mindless thing to save the Earth, I'd send a zombie!" "Oh that is the last piece! Now you have everything you need to make the jet engine, quickly!" "That is a large group of *inaudible*, now lure them to the obelisk, the make the go boom!" "Now which one of you is going to take care of that little bastard while everyone else runs around?" "You know, I never liked how that little brat never told us how anything worked. So the secret to survive is to stronldsnfvnpowfnpolkjdvnodv. Haha, and that's how you win!" "Now go look at everything!" "Excellent, your skills are superb! Now get this thing to the obelisk. We must hurry for Maxis is a busy little beaver and the dam he built will kill you all. Trust me." "You know, I think I'm starting to miss the other three..." "Ok, you seem new to this or at least you seem a bit nervous, no? Ok, tell you what. I will keep my pretties from overwhelming you too much, soooo... relax!" "You fool, the obelisk must be hot. Very, very hot! Like me... Oh..." "It's up to you now. You're the only one left. Pity." "Pick up the zombie. Put down the zombie. It's hard!" "Yeah yeah yeah! It's so hot and it's burning up! Oooh! Sexy! Sexy!" "Even a stupid American and drunk Russian could do better than that!" "Trying to take a break I see..." "Yeah, yeah! I can feel the tingling in my toesies!" "Almost, all four must do it simultaneously. Together idiots, together! Must I do everything, look how much I do for you already. It's the least you could do to save your pathetic planet. I swear, some people, no ability to work as a team." "Nein swastika, try again. The obelisk must be as hot as you can make it. So hot!" 8:00 "Hmm, let's see. Ahh, I can help you up and over pretty one, this is how she did it. I always knew she was cheating!" "Bleh bleh bleh, vodka vodka, bleh bleh. Ah, I think I'm starting to miss that drunk." "He's not going to say anything about vodka? Ah, you guys are boring!"

In my opinion, he wasn't programmed that way. His eyes are blue and he speaks of the undead many many many times, so I'd say he was being controlled by Richtofen. "Error. Error. Global Positioning System navigation error. Maintain current course. Implement Automatic Course Upgrade protocols." Lol basically. As seen. GPS is out, he's got no clue what's going on xD

First off, I'd like to thank Shooter, Monopoly Mac, and Rissole25 for allowing me to bounce ideas off of them and gather resources I wouldn't have been able to acquire. Without them, this thread would literally not be possible. For that, please give them a pat on the back as well. In this thread, I say things in a confident manner not because I think it's fact, I only say it that way because it's what I believe and saying "I think" or "I believe" is redundant and pointless. Keep in mind that this is only a theory, you may draw your own conclusions and fine tune it how you like to fit your own beliefs of the storyline. The 1960's arrived and the Cold War was at its peak. The United States and Russia had gathered intelligence from Der Riese almost two decades earlier and were still putting the things that they learned to work. As we start Nuketown, the nuke has just gone off. The CIA and CDC are meandering Nuketown for whatever reason and they hear a voice... Where's it coming from? What's it saying? Who is it? They travel to the backyard and realize it's getting stronger, and head over to the fallout shelter. The more they listen, the voice begins to sound high pitched and almost... Nerdy? They don't know for sure who this man is, but we know him as Marlton. Well now that we know who it is and where it's coming from, what is he saying? "No, my electronic devices... Ruined!!" - Marlton EMP My original theory here was that Element 115 in the nuke was the source of the EMP, as it has electrical properties and could easily disrupt something else with electronics. However, looking into it further, I realized that nukes in general cause an EMP when they send out particles, so the 115 part became basically useless as on could not discern whether it was the nuke, 115, or both that caused the EMP. Given the quote above that is one of the easier quotes to script, I'd say there was an EMP. Anyone ever taken the time to look at Marlton's watch? Well if you do, you'll see that it's stuck on a time. 19:04'38 specifically. Why else would his watch have been stopped if not for that being the time the nuke went off? That large of an explosion basically caused an EMP effect for the surrounding area when it detonated. If you've played Nuketown Zombies before, you can hear a honking bus and many haven't been sure what to think of it. Well, we know that the bus manages to get around pretty easily since the bus company was established in New York, is licensed in Colorado, and seems to be picking up the characters along the way to take them to Washington, one of them being Marlton in Nevada. Where and why the other ones were picked up has yet to be determined, but we'll know eventually. Thanks for reading guys, I'm still getting back into making full-scale theory threads, so if you have any comments don't hesitate to say them! Criticism is always welcome. :)

I was literally just about to make a thread on the name of the company, but I will post it here instead. The issue that comes to mind is that the Consolidated Coach Corporation (CCC) changed its name. In 1931, The Greyhound Lines of Georgia was renamed to Southeastern Greyhound Lines (SGL) and sold to CCC. That same year, Greyhound gave CCC clearance to SGL as a brand name. Then in 1936, CCC officially renamed the company to Southeastern Greyhound Lines. In 1950, The Greyhound Corporation bought SGL (formerly CCC), however the name did stay the same. My question is: Why is the Bus Driver still referring to it as Consolidated Coach Corporation if the name's supposedly been changed for almost three decades?

My thoughts exactly. It'd be a great day for us Zombies folks haha!
-
Do you have any sources besides CoD Wiki? I'm not saying you're wrong, but CoD Wiki can be wrong plenty of times.
-
That's my only problem with the idea of it being at Hanford, otherwise I'd really consider believing it.
-
BradyGames made the map, it's in their strategy guide.
-
Thread on the way, thank you Waffles!
-
In Verruckt, you can see surgical markings on all their necks, which was kind of cool. I don't think we'll have another hospital map, or if we do, it better be a lot different.
