[ Image ] This is the one from the Terminal, and I think that it is a hidden file that was found by cjdog23 as he went through the terminal on PC, or something like that. "Hidden"? I didn't know there were "hidden" Terminal files. Maybe its from the Der Riese Server?! Lol I can't be sure if it was hidden or not, but I haven't been able to find it when I search through the terminal and others that I have asked can't either. I might be wrong though, so don't take it as fact.

Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Tac replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It is just his interpretation of the events. As for the man in the Shi No Numa radio who is talking about Peter, he is actually confirmed to be Cornelius Pernell, Peter's handler. EDIT: MexicanIlluminiati beat me :P -

Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Tac replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I personally don't think that Dempsey was one of the Marines that was fighting in Nacht der Untoten, but that is just me. He also wasn't trying to find any information on Die Glocke, he was sent strictly to extract Peter since they all thought that he had been compromised. You have that backwards, that's the thing. Dempsey learns from intel that Peter was last heard from at Verruckt so they were sent there first. They didn't survive Nacht and then hear that they were supposed to go find Peter, Peter was their mission all along. And then, since you are saying that Nacht is before Verruckt, then it is actually impossible for Samantha to have been in the pyramid by the time Richtofen captured Dempsey. Richtofen captures Dempsey in the beginning of September, 1945. On October 1, 1945, it is revealed that Richtofen still has not sent Dr. Maxis or Samantha through the teleporter. I have never heard this, would you mind getting some sort of video proof for this? I have a feeling you may be reffering to the radio in which there is gunfire and Marines yelling, which is just the audio for the Verruckt trailer. I am still slightly confused as to why it can't be Der Riese. What do you mean "everyone is there with them", who are you referring to? And he shows no signs of remembering anything before Shi No Numa, which makes me believe that he was just brainwashed right before Shi No Numa, which is kinda true because he was brainwashed in September of 1945 and Shi No Numa is likely in October of 1945. I'd like to hear some sort of physical proof as to Dempsey saying that because I have never heard it in all my time playing it. It is just a theory, there is no proof for it being there. -
I could believe that. I also am starting to think that maybe Richtofen still had a hold on them. If it was the short period of time between the Der Riese outbreak and their meeting of SNN, we could have a Mason type thing going on where the brainwashing is still taking effect and they are still following Richtofen's word. Takeo seems to have broken from it and is just playing dumb ironically as Richtofen originally did. Yeah it's hard to tell exactly why they went to Shi No Numa. I mean Richtofen was already there and Dempsey sounds mean when he tells Nikolai to get on his gear, so I am kinda inclined to think that they are there to punish Richtofen, but I can't be sure since the quotes don't sugggest it.

Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Tac replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The comments aren't just because it is a new map nor are they in any way false, they are GIVING us the order of the maps based on the quotes. The Gersch Device is a possiblility and the dimensional rift at the end of the Easter Egg that Richtofen references is a possibility. Groom Lake IS Area 51, that is a codename for it, it's a nikname and it has been for decades, they are one in the same location. -
Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Tac replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
a. You forgot Shangri-La b. This order is impossible because in Shangri-La, multiple characters mention past maps. Tank in CoTD: "Oh come on! This better be more rewarding than last time. Stupid Gersch." Takeo in Shangri-La: "It's no Lunar Lander, but it will suffice." Nikolai in Moon: "Ancient temples, Russian cosmodromes, being stuck in a dark closet with Richtofen. What an adventure." -
Huh? Are you saying "So, Treyarch" or "So, I think that Treyarch"? I'd clarification on that one haha. As for whether I think that the explosion was a computer error, I can't tell. The way that the explosion is set up currently, it makes it appear the there was an explosion on the other side of the Earth, which would be hard to reason since there is no giant hole in the Earth. However, we can't tell if there is or nor since there is the red mist everywhere. With that image and how little we can see, I guess we could say that they blew a hole in the Earth and it went through, which opens up a whole new realm of possibilities with the Hollow Earth theory applied to Zombies. However, nothing can be said definitively sadly.

Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Tac replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I just realized, didn't we travel back in time from Cotd? I say this because of the comment Richtofen made during Cotd's EE about traveling too far into the future. Please correct if I am mistaken on this. It is an open interpretation, in my eyes. He says that they went "too far into the future. Look, the time circuits are damaged." To me, since he is playing the second sentence off of the first with the connector word, look, that they went too far into the future for the teleporter to take. Like, the teleporter couldn't handle going so far into the future, therefore it broke, not that they actually went to far into the future. That is just my opinion though. MexicanIlluminati made a thread about that quote and it's open for discussion if you feel like posting there: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=22612 -
Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?

Hmm, I am curious as to how you came to the conclusion that "the Mexican" was for a boy band. And it is unknown as to whether he took Dempsey to Der Riese or Call of the Dead, it is up in the air on that one. *spits out water* Oh my gosh.... finally someone agrees with me!! Thank you, I truly appreciate that you also think that given that is is heavily implied. How come you think that they time-traveled from Shi No Numa to Der Riese? In terms of you saying that they lost the weapons in Aether and that is why they are in the box is, idk I personally don't believe that the box and weapons don't have much to do with the story, but I may be wrong. I mean Sam controls the box, but we have no clue of why it was made or when it was mode, or by who, so there are so many questions with that subject. Actually, George Romero finds Call of the Dead, not Kino der Toten. This whole thing, this entire section goes before Call of the Dead, not after Shangri-La, this thread has proven countless times why the maps go in order. -
Welcome to the site! I can see you as being a very hard-hitting asset to the CoDz team and I hope you enjoy your stay!

I definitely see where you are coming from, but first and foremost it is impossible to travel back in time. That is why that Easter Egg is so messed up, because it turns into the Grandfather Paradox where we went back in time to save the Brock and Gary, thus saving them from death. That means that in the future, we wouldn't have gone back to the past to save them because they had lived, which means they would still be dead because we didn't go back. I hope that made sense, but you can google the paradox, it all is just one big contradiction with that Easter Egg because you aren't supposed to be able to go back in time.

Personally I am completely against the idea of not making a thread about something you dislike. If you aren't a fan of it, I think it's fine to make a thread about with the reasons why. With that out of the way, I think that the crawlers are kind of a nuisance like the new zombies in Shangri-La, but after time and experience you'll figure out how to avoid them and not have them get in your way. I'm not a fan of them overall, but they add to the story element so I'm all for it :P

Theater Mode Confirmed for Zombies
Tac replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think that a sharpshooter style would be soo cool, like every couple minutes they just switch your weapon to something new and you have to find a way to survive with it. Like they could go from a Python to a Wunderwaffe DG-2. It would make the rounds go a bit faster too since you wouldn't have to worry about ammo since you're getting a new weapon, but sadly that may take away from the core aspect of the game. Maybe to keep that, they would switch weapons every new round? -
Welcome back to the site! It'll be nice to be able to talk to you somewhere else then Twitter now :P

I agree, I think that the only time it should be acceptable is when a player that was kicked out of the game, so that they can rejoin becuase there have been times where I am playing with a friend and I only have a 2 player strategy for that map, and he's kicked and I'm just screwed from then on

There is already a thread on this here in the first page. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=22633 Because this is a duplicate thread, I'll be locking it and you can take further conversation to the linked one above.

Hey guys, Tac here with a thread that shows all the GKNOVA6 documents that Carbon got in the briefcase in May of last year. I hadn't heard of anyone scripting these, and apparently neither had Alpha, so I stepped in and did these for him. It took quite a long time to make this thread with all the indentations and just general typing/scripting it took, so I hope you all take advantage of this thread and use it to help make connections. 55,563 characters later, I guess that's all I have to say! With that, here are the images of the documents as well as my scripting, if you find any errors please comment with the error. One thing I will mention is that some of the documents do have misspellings and I did not correct them, I just typed it exactly how it was on the documents. Also, ████████ means that it was REDACTED in the document, so we can't see what it says. Enjoy guys! *This thread is under reconstruction, so please try not to mind any issues with Documents 28 and beyond* Document 1 Document 2 Document 3 Document 4 Document 6 Document 7 Document 8 Document 9 Document 10 Document 13 Document 17 Document 18 Document 20 Document 21 Document 22 Document 23 Document 24 Document 25 Document 26 Document 27 Document 28 Document 29

Theater Mode Confirmed for Zombies
Tac replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It appears that the interview in that article is referring to the interview in the video that was posted above, so thanks for the link but I guess technically it's been posted :P -
This is very interesting. The only thing that makes me curious about the American origin is that we have never been sure that America had VRIL Energy, only 115. We know that there are times when they call a weapon by its American name, like the Ray Gun, that isn't just the translated name, that is its actual name so I don't think it's out of the question for it to be German. We know that they were working with VRIL in Der Riese, however that might just be Die Glocke since we find out about that in 1942 via the radios, and Die Glocke began in 1942. For some reason, that image of the swords and skull remind me of the dagger that is in the Call of the Dead ice. I'm not sure why though, since they don't seem very similar. Btw, ignore the circles.
