  1. Don't forget the CVG article that details the confirmed 4v4 and the supposed Zombies campaign. It isn't confirmed, but I think there is a good chance of it.
  2. I'm pretty sure it is not on E3's site, it's on CVG, ComputersandVideoGames. If it is on E3's however, I'd love to see the link.
  3. The pyramid has been on the Moon for a very long time, but Richtofen didn't build Griffin Station in his absense from Der Riese. After teleporting through the MDT to Moon, he touched the pyramid and was immediately teleported to Shangri-La. In the radios, Richtofen said they spent the last three years building Griffin Station, putting the completion date in 1942, not in 1940 like you suggest. As for going back in time and changing events, that sadly isn't possible. Every time a person time travels, they enter a new reality or dimension, meaning that the previous one is untouchable I believe. Don't quote me on it, but that is how I understand it.

    Diggers

I will disagree, these machines were not meant to be left alone, without maintenance, and with out workers for so long. In the height of Group 935 ( or The Third Reich, depending on which theory you believe)would have been controlling these machines by remote control, meaning that these machines wouldn't be left to the deranged thoughts of a corrupted man-puter. The addition of a sudden start up when you flip the switch could scramble the electronics, or more likely electro-mechanics, in the excavator, leaving it to rampage across the lunar surface. I think that the diggers are there to dig for buried secrets, like Element 115 and VRIL Energy/Artifacts. They could have been building Griffin Station and they had to go in a certain direction. That direction would put it in harms way of the digger, but they had no intentions of using it agains the bulding, they would just move it over the building and be sure not to hit it. From there, the theory that Maxis took it over makes sense so I'll go with that.
  5. Hmm, I think that the general message is kinda right, but most of the specifics don't have any backing. It's a good thread, but I'd like to know where you got some of your statements from.
  6. Welcome to CoDz, it's great to see new users joining! If there are any question you may have, just ask any of us!
  7. Looks very well, I'll be helping with the posting here pretty soon. I have some ideas on how we can improve the site so it should be looking better as the weeks go on!
  8. No, that was a separate Treyarch game that many believed to be Black Ops 2.
  9. I think that there is always the possibility for a section for a campaign and then those that don't want to participate in the campaign can play standard zombies mode that we are all currently used to.
  10. Personally, I see it as inclusive to the story. There is no standard map that is around that isn't involved in the story. Everything from Nacht der Untoten to Moon has relevance, in my personal opinion. Not to mention, JFK and Nixon have basically been confirmed for the next game already according to CVG, as well as Trejo who was in Call of the Dead.
  11. I don't think it really means anything. None of the guys on the poster are actually the characters, just touched up, macho looking version. Because of that, I don't think anyone will get replaced.
  12. Good to have you on the site! I hope you enjoy your time here, we are a very accepting community and love new member. It is apparent that you like to play Zombies, which is great, so head on over to the spectacular gameplay forums and share your tips with everyone! As for the Thief, here are some pointers that you might not have known: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=22310
  13. The Pentagon Tech is the virtual boss equivalent to the Hellhounds or Space Monkeys, just with a different objective. As you all know, he takes your weapon and disappears with it. Some pointers to killing are rather obvious ones, but many overlook them. To make the Thief appear, you must have the power on, the switch of which is in the basement. Once you turn the power on, the thief will usually come within the next two rounds. Once the Tech is activated and takes everyone's weapons, you only have about one minute to kill him. The Thief's hit points increase as the rounds progress, so it'd be best activate time as early as possible so you can get the points. You can trigger him as early as Round 4 if you get very lucky on your power-ups and have great point-whoring. That is usually a bit early though, wait until you think you have enough ammo to stand a good chance at taking him out and preventing him from taking your weapon. - A common theme is to use Claymores, which is incredibly effective when used right. They can get you many points and inflict great damage on multiple Zombies. - When the Pentagon Tech is damaged, he begins to slow down. The more damage he has, the slower he runs. As many know, aiming for the head will deal the most damage and give you the best chance to catch up to him and kill him. - Make sure you have two fully loaded weapons because you won't have enough time to reload. If he takes one of your weapons, you'll be able to switch a fully loaded secondary. The strategy that I use is to sit in the elevator at either the top of the bottom of the facility. Bottom: Not much to the bottom, you'll just lay or sit in the elevator in the basements and lay out claymores in the hallway to deal as much damage as possible. It's best to lay out 4 claymores from each person. When the round activates, he'll come from the doorway of the power switch room just ahead of you. Top: The top is similar to the bottom, you'll lay or sit in the elevator with claymores all over the place, again preferably all 4 players have four lied out. When the round activates, he'll come from the teleporter out one of the two doors on the left side. It is usually the closest door to me, but it can vary. Killing the Pentagon Tech/Thief will always result in a good thing. If you kill him after he takes your weapon, you get your weapons back and a Fire Sale, which makes the box only 10 points instead of 950. As Richtofen always says, "Oh yes, fire was way overpriced." If you are good with your time, you can possibly get three uses from the box before the Fire Sale is over. If you kill him before he takes your weapon, you get the Bonfire Sale instead of the Fire Sale. What that means is that the Pack-A-Punch is now only 1,000 points instead 5,000, and all the teleporters lead to that room. I hope that this helped at least a few people, it is my first real gameplay guide of any sort so if there is anyway for me to improve, than please tell me! I used the search, but I can never seem to use it right. Regardless, I didn't find anything and I have been trying to get into gameplay more, so I said what the heck. A lot of the content above is just from playing experience on the map, and a lot of people always say to do some of this stuff, but I never really got that until I tried some of them and it really did work. Thanks for reading guys :)
  14. That theory would make sense, but as I've said before, her age would be off to fit in a time frame of 2025.
  15. Basically. It is either the Vril-ya or Illuminati, there is enough evidence for both that it really just comes down to preference.
  16. I was a bit confused by the question, so I got two possible meanings for it, so I answered both to prevent having to explain over multiple posts. If you mean that the MPD and MDT are the same. The MPD and MDT are two different things, so there is no MPD aka MDT. The MPD pyramid was made from aliens, and is on the Moon. MDT is the teleporters made by Group 935, which we see in Der Riese and Kino der Toten. If you are asking about why he teleported to Moon from Der Riese. The Der Riese prototype teleporter connected to the pyramid on Moon, that we know. My reason for it is because their is VRIL Energy inside the pyramid, and 115 inside the teleporters. VRIL Energy and Element 115 are basically the same thing, but the VRIL is much more concentrated. I basically think that becaus ethe substances are close to the same, they basically connected. The pyramid is a teleporter as well, so the two are made to connect to other teleporters, and it just chose the one on Moon.
  17. Wow, that is insane. I honestly wouldn't have guess that, that is really awesome. Time to subscribe to that channel :D
  18. To be honest, I think it is all three. According to Richtofen and Nazi History, the MPD is a machine from an ancient civilization, who were also aliens, and they were known as the Vril-ya. That MPD is also a stable gateway to the dimension, Aether. So don't think it is one of the three, note that it is all three. ;)
  19. I don't think it is Sophia. The woman on this poster is somewhere around 25 years old and Sophia would be incredibly old by now since she worked in Der Riese in the early 1940s. I don't see a plausible way that she could be alive in this day-in-age, let alone the fact that she probably wasn't 25 when she worked there, so she would have to have gotten younger.
  20. Just as a heads up, this has been discussed on the forum before, like in the links below: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21775 viewtopic.php?f=81&t=21511 viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21705#p209055 viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21633#p208292 However, this is news to me and I have not seen it before so thank you for posting it. Here is the image, in case no one knows what he is talking about. Like you had said, my first guess would be the end of the Mayan calender at December 21, 2012. Thanks to this thread for helping me connect some ideas together, but here it goes. As you read in the link provided, apparently the Mayan's were told by a "tall white man from the sea" that the world would end. That man sounds like Vril-ya to me, because they were white and very large giants, and were thought to once inhabit Atlantis, which was in the sea. The name of the man was Kukulcan, and he was able to take the form of a serpent. Some say that Vril-ya were able to take the form of serpents as well, not to mention the Vril-ya are deeply interwoven to snakes just in general. Remember the Naga's everywhere on Shangri-La? So this man, Vril-ya perhaps, was saying that the world would end 12/21/2012. In the book known as The Coming Race, which first described the Vril-ya people, it says that the Vril-ya would outlive their underground home and have to inhabit the outside of the Earth. Perhaps that happens on 12/21/2012.
  21. Haha very nice introduction! It seems like you are an avid storyline fan, so be sure to check out the story section of the site and help us unravel the mystery that Treyarch has bestowed upon us! I have given you you're introduction medal and I hope to see you around more!

    What the M.P.D "IS"

"Before the war he was a back alley plastic surgeon, who created an army of monstrous affluent Weimar socialites that would follow him around and laugh at every joke the genius doctor made. This all fell apart when the republic fell and the Nazi party took control. To Richtofen, their values were too moral, too liberal for his liking. He joined the army so he could satisfy his need to watch people die, slowly." As that says, he felt that they were too moral and liberal for his liking, the Nazi Party that is. They mention the republic falling, that'd be the Weimar Republic, which fell in 1933. From there, the Nazi Party took over, and that is 16 years before the Moon radios even happen. I think that he wasn't insane until the voices, but he was indeed twisted beforehand. He loved to watch others die, he liked their pain, that was the norm for him way before the radios. To me, the voices just turned him more insane and made him want to betray others that were close to him, like Dr. Maxis.

  25. Fantastic post man, there are many things we can conclude via the quotes. I particularly like the one, "The power of time is incapable of being controlled by humans." To me, that one is kind of like a hint to them Time Travelling perhaps between Call of the Dead and Shangri-La. Who knows, but it does show, to me, that Richtofen has no definite control over the time periods they arrive in. EDIT: Another quote that interests me, that you sadly don't have is this: "Hello? We are here. Now to make it to the switch to start the fun." - start_4 It's odd because he says that first part as if he is expecting someone to meet him or greet him there, perhaps the Vril-ya? If that is true and all the Vril-ya are dead like many have assumed, that could mean he wasn't the one who slaughtered them all.
