  1. There have been some instances where the original marines can be heard in a glitch. Treyarch recorded some of the original quotes from Nacht Der Untoten and Verruckt and put them in the game for Der Riese, but I don't ink they were meant to be heard. But obviously, if a glitch occurs, they can be heard.
  2. By "the boss" I think he means Stalin, the leader of Russia at that time. He reference himself as a Soviet a lot so he still has his affiliations with his country of origin. After approaching the Pack-A-Punch machine in Der Reise, he references "the boss" again, "Wow... I gotta take this back for the boss to see." like I said, I think he's just referring to Stalin.
  3. The reason I will never believe he was in Aether was because if he was there, Samantha would have known. She is practically the ruler of Aether, she knows everything that goes in and out, like Gersh. She knows the second he leaves and gets pissed, she has that sixth sense to know everything about Aether. If Maxis was there, she would have known and tried to make contact with him inside Aether, but she never makes any hints to her knowing he was there. She has a reunion with he father when he gets teleported back to Moon, but Samantha and Maxis would of had that reunion if he was in Aether.

  5. I think that that is very possible, he does say that he will take care of the little brat and he knows just what to do with Maxis. However, since he says "end up there" it makes me believe he tried to teleport them somewhere else, but when they arrived in Moon, he was baffled. Remember Test Subject 5 in the Der Riese radios, the test subject had disappeared from the test chamber and did not appear in the mainframe. Perhaps Richtofen tried to do the same with them? Either that or he tried to send them to Aether. Also, you can combine this theory and Alpha's. Richtofen had intended to kill them both but when he realized that Sam hadn't died, he figured that Maxis hadn't either. From there is a small jump in saying that Maxis went to Tunnel 6 or 11.

  7. I believe Richtofen does mention the anti-gravity effects he feels when he first get teleported to the Moon ("I feel almost....weightless"). Also, the pyramid was most likely sealed inside the cave as well when Richtofen first discovers it. This might offer an explanation of why Richtofen doesn't mention any problems with breathing, but yet we can't breath when we're there with the gang. This is assuming there was already oxygen there to begin with or that the pyramid is supplying oxygen, like Murder stated. I think that oxygen was there to begin with since it was a single chamber. There is no mention in the Moon radios of them having to wear gas masks, which is either because they just didn't feel like putting it in the radio or because someone came afterwards and took out the oxygen, so to speak. MMX stated above that he believes that Germans and Americans may have taken out the oxygen, but I have not warmed up to the idea yet. There is a mainframe on the ceiling if I remember correctly, and perhaps it had to be put in place for some reason and that was the reason the oxygen is no longer present.

  9. My reason for why the zombies don't eat other Zombies is because the blood isn't as pure, if that makes sense. Other than that, it's just for gameplay purposes. As for when all the humans are eaten, I think that the zombies will then begin to eat each other to stay alive and then eventually all die because there are no more zombies left.
  10. There are two references to Samantha's mother. One in the Moon radio, in which Maxis says the following, "When your mother died I could not bear the thought of losing you too, that's why I kept you so close." The other is in Moon when Sam is playable, she says, "Where... where is mommy?" The latter of the two quotes comes after Maxis said that her mother is dead, and she says it when she is running out of air. My theory is that she believes she is dying, so she thinks her soul will be going to a higher place and she is hoping her mother is there. According to the terminal, the radio in which Sam gets her puppy, Fluffy, she is between the ages of 6-10 years old. The first terminal file is on January 20, 1942, and that file says that Sam already has her puppy. Maxis says that he brought her close after her mother died, which I believe is the reason he took her to Der Riese. He says that he neglected her after the death, and Richtofen directly mentions experimenting in her. To me, that means that he was experimenting on her after the death, which I believe was during Der Riese. If Sophia is her mother, than I believe she should have been dead before Der Riese, which she clearly isn't. Therefore, I do not believe that Sophia is Samantha Maxis' mother.

He doesn't see another person, he hears someone talking, which he thinks is Schuster, but it is actually the voices in his had that he got from touching the pyramid. At 2:18 however, there is definitely someone talking in the background as he is teleporting. I don't think they are in the building, perhaps on the other end of the teleorter or it's the voices. Interesting.
  12. Just food for thought here, this is a theory I have always kinda liked and kept in the back of my mind. So Maxis gets Samantha to open the machine after apologizing to her, and when she opens it she is crying. After that, Maxis says to kill them all, and a gunshot is heard. What if, and just hear me out, it is actually someone shooting at Samantha since the pyramid isn't closed yet. They shoot at her, causing Maxis to yell no, and Sam laughs triumphantly. Dr. Groph then says that "We are doomed" because they couldn't stop Sam.
  13. I think that there is a clear 'y' sound in Zavoyski when he says it so I am going with that, for my personal story. Also, which file in the terminal says Ludwig? I only remember seeing a Ludvig.
  14. However, in the game when you get the Gersh Device out of the box, the name on the screen has it spelled Gersch, so I don't know what you would like to believe on that. As for Maxis, I also share the common belief it is Ludvig. I don't even remember anywhere it says Ludwig, so if someone could point that out it would be nice.
  15. There is no official CoDz Character Bios, only user made versions based on their thoughts. As a heads up, the spelling of Gersch is wrong too on CoD Wiki. They call him Gersch, but it is actually Gersh according to the sound files and achievements.
  16. How do we know that? Because in the first radios, Richtofen arrives in Moon on January 4th, 1940, and then they begin to make Griffin Station from the ground up and build around the pyramid. Two radios later, Richtofen says they have been working on Griffin Station for "two long years" to begin testing and experimentation there. Naturally, two years later than 1940 is 1942. Since the radios are chronologically ordered, every radio after the "two long years" later one would be in 1942. He should have known, you are right. Maxis and Richtofen had different views on what Group 935 would be like and where they should go, so it can be assumed that when Maxis took it in the direction he wanted to, Richtofen knew the real goals.
  17. Only 3 out of 11 radios on Moon have dates, all of which coming in the first 4 radios/audio reels. We know that the last radio was said sometime during or after 1942, but we can't say for certain it was 1942, based on the knowledge that is present to us now.
  18. Treyarch has made mistakes in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me now. In Verruckt, happening September of 1945, you hear the demonic laughter of Sam. Now, we know she was still alive and not in the MPD until somewhere after October 1, 1945, so that is a mess up on there part. However, we have generally forgave them for that since it was so early in the storyline. With this, it is a bummer that it happened. I have talked with others about this line and we can't figure it out. He also asks things like "How many stations does this Group have?" and comments about how the theater must have been used for mind control, so he seems pretty out of it. He comment on how he has never been to Kino and has only heard of the crawlers, and because he gets into detail on that one I believe he hasn't been there. For the other quotes, I have a feeling his mind got a bit dazed after the time-travel and he is just trying to figure it all out, but that is just my two cents.
  19. I'm glad someone else has noticed this. There are also Vietnamese things around the map as well, I think some stuff went down there. Perhaps it was found by other people, later on?
  20. Well, I believe that Moon is after CoTD to begin with, so I don't think that the rockets effected CoTD in any way. On top of that, every time you time travel you go into a separate dimension, or a parallel universe. So even if Moon was in the 60's, it would be fine because there have been many parallel universes in the entire story.
  21. I like those a bit better, they aren't so drastic in difference and the jump isn't as high
  22. My favorite character is probably Richtofen. The high squeaky voice and funny remarks go so well together!
  23. It's good to know that Treyarch is actually watching over us. I will have to start posting my suggestions in the future section now that I know they are being looked at and maybe even considered.
  24. The left side just feels much more natural to read, and we are all used to it so I think that it should be the left side. Is there any way to modify where the "online" sign is, in case there is a larger avatar?
  25. My favorite is number 10 due to the Group 935 logo. Being a part of the story section, that logo really touches my heart :)
