Obviously Jug because it is insanely helpful to stay alive, but because I am a solo player, my favorite is Quick Revive.

I think that the bunker that we stay in in Nacht der Untoten is a Comms Bunker, that is my personal thoughts on why the antennae's are there.

Yeah, he went to Moon by accident, and was teleported to Shangri-La, after that returning to Der Riese. He gathered scientists and for 2 years, worked in Griffin Station, creating the facility, as you said. But, we don't know how the oxygen escaped
-
When he teleported to Moon, the pyramid was there because it was built by an ancient civilization called the Vril-Ya. It was inside of a building, the room was there all along. However, when he arrived there, as well as in all the radios and audio reels, there was oxygen in the room, allowing for them all to speak normally. It is unknown for sure how the oxygen escaped the room, or why it was done, if on purpose.

The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)
Tac replied to Tac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Anyone have anything they would like to add about the times, or something they want changed? -
Hey guys, I'm TacticalInsertion and I'm here to properly introduce myself to the newer members, and even to the older one's as it's been a long time since I made an introduction, and that one was pretty pathetic! I'm best known for my storyline work, as I have made over 80 useful threads and have over 2,800 posts, the most of anyone on the site. I have won the User of the Month and I am even now part of the staff, so you can come to me with any suggestion, complaint, or random conversation you may have! Currently, I am a normal 17 year old High School boy with plans to get my PhD in History and become a History Professor at a University somewhere. I am incredibly intrigued by history and love everything about it, so that is a big thing about Nazi Zombies that draws me in; the historical aspect of it all. I'm honestly pretty wiped of things to talk about, so if you have any questions about me, just ask them below and maybe we can talk sometime in PM's or around the site!

Possible connection between FIVE and CotD?
Tac replied to Eddiethehead's topic in General Zombies Discussion
In game, I believe that FIVE clocks are designed to display real-time times based on the clocks that are inside your console, but I am not positive. For example, my Xbox clocks stay at November 11, 2005, and 12:17 am. So therefore, I assume that if I go to FIVE, the time on the clocks will say 12:17. Perhaps CoTD clocks are the same way and your internal clocks are incorrect like mine. -
No one knows for sure, but based on the image that was found in the terminal (the lower one in OP), I believe that through wireless communications of some sort, they were going to try and control the Zombies. Possibly through mind-control broadcasted via towers like in the Campaign.

Hey everyone, Tac here with a helpful guide for you all! Many people ask how to do the Easter Egg on this map but they don't know where to look, but fear not, here is an in-depth thread for you to sink your teeth into! Step 1: The GeneratorMake your way towards PhD Flopper and when you get to the bottom of the stairs and facing the landers, look to the right and you should see a glowing generator outside of the playable area. If you go up to the PhD Flopper room and into the corner, you can hear a high-pitched noise. For this, you MUST have a Gersch Device. Position yourself where you would like, and throw the Gersch Device onto or near the generator to get it sucked into the Gersch. When sucked in, you will hear Samantha laugh. Step 2: The TV Go to the Lunar Lander that is next to Stamin-Up and when facing it, turn to the left and you should see a staircase with a barrier on top of it. Under the staircase there will be a TV that has static on it. Go up to the TV and you should again hear a high-pitched noise. When in front of the TV, press the action button, in which the TV will get an Illuminati logo on it. At this point, Node 1 of the Easter Egg should be complete. In between Step 2 and the Claymores on the other wall, there is a big chunk of metal. When looking at it from the Claymores, 1 light should appear on the metal. Step 3: The Buttons During a Monkey round, have one of your players at each of the following perk machines: Speed Cola, Juggernog, Stamin-Up, and PhD Flopper. When the monkeys appear, there will a small red button that appears near each perk machine that must be pressed at the same time. The locations of the buttons are as follows: 1. On the right side of the door frame, while the perk machine is on the left. 2. Directly behind you when looking at the Juggernog perk machine. 3. Left of the Stamin-Up perk machine. 4. On the wall left of the PhD Flopper perk machine. At this point, Node 2 of the Easter Egg should be completed. Back at the metal chunk near Stamin-Up, 2 lights should appear as lit up on the metal. Step 4: The Clock Once you get the Pack-A-Punch area opened up, have one player lead your crawlers to somewhere near Stamin-Up and get all the players gathered at the launch pad in the Pack-A-Punch area. You will see a clock on the wall that reads 12:00, and you must stand on the pressure plate in front of the clock. The plate is quite large so don't worry about falling off, but it is preferred to stand still or stay in a generally close area. You must stand on the plate for 2 minutes, but can shoot or throw grenades in case the crawlers get close and must be killed. After the two minutes is up, there will be a nuke that goes off and ends the round. At this point, Node 3 of the Easter Egg should be completed. Back at the metal chunk near Stamin-Up, 3 lights should appear as lit up on the metal. Step 5: The Landers In the sky, you can see several floating letters that must be retrieved. You can get them by using the Lunar Landers, and they must be gotten in an order that spells LUNA. Below is a map as to where the letters are and how to get them, but for simplicity, take the lunar lander to the starting position in the building with Quick Revive and we can start from there. Note that you CANNOT buy the landers to go to a spot, they must be called there by another player. Here is the order: L: Have a player standing on the lander and a teammate call them from the Stamin-Up lander, this should get an L. U: Have a player standing on the lander and a teammate call them from the spawn lander position, this should get a U. N: Have a player standing on the lander and a teammate call them from the Speed Cola lander, this should get an N. A: Have a player standing on the lander and a teammate call them from the Stamin-Up lander, this should get an A. At this point, Node 4 of the Easter Egg should be completed. Back at the metal chunk near Stamin-Up, 4 lights should appear as lit up on the metal. Step 6: The Light Near the metal, there should now be a glowing circle, or orb, on the ground. To complete this step, you will need: a Gersch Device, an upgraded Raygun, an upgraded Thundergun, and Matryoska Dolls. Have the player with the Gersch Device throw it on the orb, and then you will need at least 2 Zues Cannon and 2 X2 Ray Gun shots directed at the light, as well as 1 or 2 Matryoska Dolls. From there, the light should begin to ascend. The steps should now be completed and each player will be equipped with a Death Machine for 90 seconds and the screen will go black and white for a few seconds while Sam throws a fit, then the color will return and the Easter Egg is officially over!
-
True that, that makes sense. I addressed it with Covert a while back, making all the Easter Egg guides and having them stickied so that everyone will stop asking I'll add images into my Written CoTD one, and then I am almost done with all the others and we can get the ball rolling on that!

The Zombies are controlled by a girl named Sam, and she is sending the Zombies after anyone that was in Group 935, is possibly helping the crew, or uses Element 115.
-
I almost can't tell whether this would be better in the Story section. Maybe we could copy the thread and sticky it there too Eye since it is a huge thread that has a lot of story line significance?

Yeah, I mean it is clear that he was slightly sadistic before the war had started, but then he touched the pyramid and I think it amplified all the nasty things about him. They were all there on some sort of level, they just appeared more times and for longer durations after the touching of the pyramid. Of course, new things arose from touching the pyramid, like in my opinion, his wanting to kill Maxis. I think that the voices in his head wanted him to have power, just as Richtofen wanted a similar thing, and one way to do it was to kill Dr. Maxis and take his position as head of Group 935. But he broke the grasps of the voices, which I believe to be the Illuminati, and continued his quest for power on his own.

I see a connection for sure, but I believe that it is more of a case that the Nazi's have seen the logo and based the swastika on it, not that they built the door based on the swastika, if that makes sense. If I misunderstood you, I apologize. But the swastika is a very common theme and symbol in the ancient world so it doesn't particularly surprise me that it is there, it is a symbol of ancient civilizations taken by the Nazi's.

What evidence is there that the Nazi party was at Shangri La? I know it (and hollow earth) was highly significant to them and that they did search for it, but what shows they actually found it. I think Shangri-La was more of a testing facility for Richtofen and Group 935. I was always under the impression that the dead bodies in the tunnel were that of the native people there. Hence when all the zombies come back they're all native people. Sorry if I missed something I was gone a few months and I'm still trying to catch up. :| Anywho, they most likely just choose the green so it looks like a dragon, but after seeing all the various colors and types, it'd be interesting to see what the other castes could do! We don't know for certain who all was there, but I assume it was a workplace for 935. Not all the members, Maxis and Richtofen specifically. I agree that the dead bodies are of the native people. As for the stones, I believe it is a green one due to the ancient history behind Naga's and reptiles in general, even with the Mayans and ancient civilization.

The notes most clearly say '75 to me, that is just what I see. I'd love to believe '35 if I actually thought it said that, but I won't personally just say it does to make it fit. Regardless of that, the notes contradict both the date and the Fernsehturm. I don't know what specific source to believe, because it kinda sucks when they all say different things. I don't think that we should believe one source just because it fits, or anything of the sort, not that any of you did that. I'm not fully agreeing with this theory, but I just find it really odd how he would know the year that the weapon came out when the last contact he had with anyone besides Richtofen, Takeo, and Nikolai was in 1945.

The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)
Tac replied to Tac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Wait a second.... so since in the Shangri-La EE we travel back and forth through time then the ANDO thing on the radio would tell us that Brock and Gary's expedition took place in the 2000's right? Not necessarily when the crew visits SL. Correct, those are his handheld radios so we can assume the expedition was during the 2000s. I see no reason to believe that we traveled back in time from Call of the Dead to Shangri-La because they make no hint of it in quotes that I have heard, so I believe that we play there directly after CoTD. -
New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]
Tac replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Germany even owned parts of New Guinea at one point, but that was back in World War 1. According to my research, Germany worked with the Japanese on weapons for the war all of the world, even Japan. Hitler announced himself that Japan was a great geostrategic partner. Germany and Japan became very close after the Tripartite Pact in 1940, so I would easily assume that they were in the mainlands of Japan. -
The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)
Tac replied to Tac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The radio doesn't specifically say 2004, just to clear that up. It says ANDO which is a company that deals with internet radio ventures and such. That company was made in 2004, so it is in no way definitive I believe, but who knows. It is a personal handheld radio, so that makes the date come around the 2000 mark, so 2004 sounds easily plausible. -
The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)
Tac replied to Tac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ok now I understand exactly what you mean. I think that there is a good chance of it, we have no guaranteed date or time frame for Shangri-La, but I easily see a chance for Shangri-La taking place a few years before CoTD. -
The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)
Tac replied to Tac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Why is it logical for them to have traveled back in time to get to Shangri-La? The achievements say that they are going to Paradise after the Easter Egg and then we hear elephants and tropical jungle-like noises. Then we arrive in Shangri-La, often called Paradise because of its history, and it is in a jungle with a lot of noises. -
New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]
Tac replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It was an independent state of the Japanese, meaning its ruler was Chinese, but it was still owned and controlled by Japan and was part of their empire, that is undeniable. They conquered the area, it is part of their empire. Therefore, it can still be Manchuria. I see no reason why they wouldn't refer to it as Japan, if it was ruled by them for 14 years, I know that I would have and I believe that the Americans would have called it that too. I think this topic is just pointless at this point, I don't appreciate your condescending remarks of how I just need to READ and I am not discussing this anymore with you, it appears that neither of us will change our mind. I don't want this to come between us, I just don't agree with you, as does many other people. If you want to reply feel free to do so in a PM. :) -
New breakthrough in SNN location! [UPDATE]
Tac replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Suit yourself. It seems like most of everything is just us bickering on how we would have viewed it back then so this conversation is virtually useless. I am 100% sure it's Manchuria, you are 100% sure it's not, that's fine, disagreements happen.
