  1. Was india called Britain when it was controlled by the british? No. It was considered a part of it's empire, but wasn't britian. Same basic thing here. The japanese would never consider that Japan, only what they have conquered. It was a part of their empire, but it was not Japan. They hate the chinese. Why on earth would they want to consider the chinese land their land? It would bring them "dishonor." And it makes ZERO sense that verruckt is the first outbreak. How did they discover the zombies? Hm? There was an outbreak before that. Where? I have no clue. I'm not even going to discuss this Japan thing with you anymore. When someone controls an area, it is part of their empire, it is Japan in this case. When Rome controlled vast lands way back in the day, it was called Rome. When Germnany controlled many lands in World War 2, it was called Germany. When Japan took over Manchuria and New Guinea, it was Japan. As for the outbreaks, I would like to hear an actual response as to why it can't be the first outbreak. Just because they found the zombies a while ago does NOT mean that that is considered an outbreak, it just means that they had zombies in that location. Don't say that something make ZERO sense if you can't come back with a legit reason.
  2. Well, it says Japan yes, but if the Japanese had conquered an area, it would be called Japan, so his theory of New Guinea would work, as does mine about Manchuria. As for first breakout, we can't be sure, but I believe it is Verruckt. In Moon radios, we know that Maxis is alive because Richtofen references the fact that he still has to kill him, and he is alive during October 1, 1945, which is a few weeks after the breakout at Verruckt occurred. Also, great thinking with that poster!
  3. Why would this be in Ascension if the Monument wasn't resurrected until 1964, at least a year after Ascension?
  4. No one knows for sure, but I believe that he is just there for gameplay purposes.
  5. I am the same way, I cannot stand that screaming. I downloaded the songs, listened a little bit in, and not it still sits at 0 plays. I did not finish the song, nor would I imagine starting it ever again.
  6. I'd believe it is Laika since the drawings in the back are Sputnik 2, or at least that over the goat head. It makes a bit more sense to me, connects a bit better.
  7. From my understanding, they gave it to Avenged Sevenfold to make their song, but I can't confirm that.
  8. No Man's Land is Area 51. When we play in Area 51 before we go to Moon, that place is called No Man's Land.
  9. Haha most definitely not. There have been times where I question some of the maps, but I have come to the realization they are all in order.
  10. cjdog did his magic and took them out, nothing interesting though, just some concept are for Kino. And that makes sense, I think you might actually be right on that one.
  11. In my honest opinion there is no passwords to the servers. All the images in the Der Riese server have already been extracted, but I don't believe there is anything else. If there is, it is impossible to get to because it would give to much about the story away.
  12. No, FIVE and Ascension have not been confirmed.
  13. Ahh, I thought you were referring to me since you didn't specify :D
  14. Hey guys, TacticalInsertion here with another thread, and this one is one of my finest in my eyes. There have been theories about Shi No Numa being in New Guinea, and while that is a really well thought out theory, I think I can 1-up it. In World War 2, there was a biological weapons research and human experimentation team known as Unit 731, and they had many compounds. In the Rebirth intel for the campaign, it states that there was Japanese biological research under Unit 731 and the Imperial Japanese Army in Manchuria, China. As we know, Group 935 got the blueprints of the biological weapon Ray Gun from the Rising Sun Facility, known as Shi No Numa to us. If you notice, there are logs all around Shi No Numa. Unit 731 had a compound in Pingfan, Manchuria, where their excuse for the facility was that it was a lumber mill, so they had logs and wood all around (Note that there is The Flogger, made of wood). Rumor from around the compound is that they referred to their human specimens as "logs." Some of you might say that there were no human experimentation going on inside Shi No Numa, however I will quote something from Takeo's biography from Treyarch, as I believe that he worked at Shi No Numa. Some of you might quote the quote in Kino about the 115 meteor being from Japan, however at that time, Japan had control of Manchuria so it was technically still Japan. That basically sums up why I believe that Shi No Numa is in Manchuria, China. I will now move on to why I believe that Nikolai Belinski was captured there. In August of 1945, the Soviets invaded Manchuria with 1 million soldiers. I believe that after Nikolai was dropped on the front lines, he was part of this invasion. Note that less than one month later, Richtofen makes the first Call of the Dead radio stating that he has two newly acquired test subjects, Takeo and Nikolai. I believe that this means they were captured around the same time since he knows little about each. Feel free to discuss any of this and express your concerns :)
  15. You are right, some people are very "stupif" and stuff. I agree with most all you said, but I would like you to please point out to me where in my OP (Original Post) I say that they do not happen in the order of which they occur.
  16. Ya know how no one knows how Nikolai was captured? Well the Russians, 1 million strong, invaded Manchuria less than a month before the first CoTD radio where Richtofen states that he has new test subjects. Perhaps he got Nikolai and Takeo and split off. Don't worry, I'll explain more in my upcoming thread. EDIT: The thread is out! viewtopic.php?f=67&t=20177
  17. Hmm, most of my conversations were through Skype, but here is the image of the Thundergun on FIVE. It is not the clearest image, but hey, it's the best I could do:
  18. Yeah I definitely think he was there at one point or another. As for when, I honestly don't know. How? Well I believe that Maxis knew about the Moon base because it is listed in the terminal as having 115 on the moon via an astronomical team. From there, maybe he used a teleporter. Or maybe that whole thing can be cut out and they just used a teleporter to get there since the mainframe is right next to the temple. This is all just speculation though.
  19. That has been a theory I have heard recently, but not for those reasons. The technology is identical, and maybe because Yuri was under the influence of Sam, the Gersch Device was made to kill Gersch even though it is actually a pocket teleporter, just a mobile version of the FIVE teleporters. Also, in Ascension, there is the Project Thunder, which is the making of the Thundergun, and note that there are shelves in FIVE with the Thundergun on it. And the voices like you said, that adds to it.
  20. I believe he does display personality changes, as he is rather calm and collected during all the tests in the Der Riese radios, yet we know that he has gone a bit crazy from the voices going through his head and making him do things he wouldn't normally do.
  21. This is just a short little theory that I wanted to share with you all, but I think it will help some people out and maybe even cause a little discussion. In Shangri-La, we see that 115 is everywhere. In my belief, the Asian people who are there were supposed to mine the Element so that it could be harvested and used. The problem with that is how a person would get the Element back to Der Riese or wherever the intended target is at, so Dr. Maxis created a solution by creating the shrink ray so that they could easily transport it back to a compound for usage. I don't personally believe that they made it so that it could shrink zombies to be kicked Feel free to comment on this mini thread and give me your thoughts!
  22. The JGB is a weird gun, but I do not believe it shoots 115 or VRIL. It doesn't have either of the qualities. I believe it was originally made to shrink Element 115 for easy transport.
  23. I posted this thread a while ago but a mod accidentally deleted it, so the search function would sadly yield no results. With that, you are the only person on the site with the thread I believe, congrats! :P
  24. Could you possibly specify on the question please?
  25. So you are thinking that the technology that is at Roswell was included in the numbers? I could see all of that except that we have no idea how the Russians could have gotten there hands on the technology.
