I believe the only evidence was the (supposed) numbers on the poster, of 12 29 17 89 or something, and that date was related to Frankenstein. But, there may be something else, so I always ask haha.

They released this alongside the trailer (and I don't think the wording is exact), so thank you for posting it @Matuzz ;)

@Difintel What are all the references to Frankenstein? I'm not convinced yet that it plays a role. @TheVGExpert I personally don't think a lot of time should be spent thinking about who the person on the poster is. Dempsey seems like the best (and easiest) answer to me.

I'm not completely convinced that this is Hell, or that they die, but it's obviously possible. What a glorious trailer, though. I love it, and can't wait!

I know this is way late, but for the sake of when other people look at this thread later, I believe the "outer space comic" reference is to the scraps of paper comic piece. The cipher in Mob of the Dead that relates to Arlington says "Enclosed are some more recent illustrations from my proposed comic strip Icarus from Mars," and you can see that with the mention of Mars, the normal comic strip is likely what he means.

Yeah @Cheesegrater28 and @Stop Mocking Me0 are correct, and I assume that these people you mentioned are talking about the radio.

Some people say that the blood splatter on each image could make a symbol or something relevant, citing Dempsey's and Nikolai's as appearing continuous. Not sold that it leads to something, but who knows!

Hey guys, Tac here with a quick thread about a cool find today. @MrDalekJD recently made a video about how he and @MrRoflWaffles were talking with Jason Blundell and he said that there was a secret message inside the World at War character bios that to his knowledge, no one had found yet. So Dalek made a vidoe asking the community to figure it out and surprisingly, many people had the same ideas. My first inclination was to invert the image colors, which didn't show much of anything, so I decided to take the first letter from each sentence and see if it spelled anything. I'll preface this by saying I'm not trying to take credit for the finding, seeing as the method I used was something that many many people simultaneously tried. But alas, using the method described above, one finds that it spells "THE DR WANTS THE ULTIMATE POWER BASTARD." The section of the sentence that says "THE DR WANTS THE ULTIMATE POWER" can be found in Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo's bios (in that order) while the "BASTARD" segment is only on Richtofen's bio. Rather interesting stuff if you ask me, as they were foreshadowing Richtofen's intentions it seems. Hope you enjoyed the thread and I'll leave the character bios (as seen in the video) below for those who wish to try it out themselves!

@DrVonstool, I feel what you're trying to say, but it isn't correct unfortunately. Shangri-La is certainly connected to the Hollow Earth, like you said, except that it's an entrance to it as opposed to actually being in it. That's why it's believed to be in the Himalayan mountains and not inside the Earth. Evidence of this comes from what I quoted above. Brock says "if this truly is a gateway to Agartha," and Agartha is inside the Earth, so it seems as though he's saying Shangri-La is an entrance/gateway to this place, not actually there.

When does he mention this? It would be reason that says he does, not logic. Logically, what you're saying does not necessarily follow. Reasonably, it does. I'll be anticipating your thread over what you described above, @Nightmare Voyager, because with what we've discussed before and your explanation above, I'm not entirely sold yet haha :p Any idea when that will be coming out?

This sounds very plausible @Nightmare Voyager, awesome work. However, I do wonder if Maxis actually went to the MPD considering we don't see one in the edited loading screen. That's what makes me skeptical. Also, I think at the end of the thread, you should add something in there about why this matters, or why this is important. Like, it's cool that they switched Maxis and Samantha's role, but what's the relevance? It would only matter that Maxis is in the MPD and Sam is in the caves if we continued in the Giant timeline, but it seems we may not be. Additionally, I'm a bit confused as to how this is a resolution to the old story like you mentioned. Is there any way you could delve into that a bit more? :) For anyone who cares, here's the image of Samantha that I photoshopped into the loading screen:

By holes do you mean wormholes, like the Rifts we have in Shadows of Evil? Or do you mean something else?

I don't think Shangri-La is in Brazil, but actually in the Himalayas. Do you know of any evidence to suggest it's in South America?
