Even so it seems they would have more than one of these around the map, I have been looking in to the shops with little luck so I'm taking note of anything a little odd. There's actually another one (posted as this image by some crappy YouTuber named Chucky lol), which I'll show below: EDIT: I ought to note that reportedly, this one is not activated by grenades. It is merely sitting in the footlight district diner.

What do you mean, how would they have gotten to Alcatraz? I'm a bit confused, sorry. And also, I never actually play much haha, mostly theorize. Is there a chance you have images of these things?
-
Oh awesome, thanks! That's really neat!

I don't think it will be a new Easter Egg, per se, but just more connections between Mob of the Dead and Shadows of Evil. It seems as though the characters lived in Morg City, which is quite exciting for the story.

Yeah adding to the two posts above, it's more related to the story than the EE itself (unless that's what you're hoping for). @Chopper, there are a few ways it could go down. As stated, he appears after the PaP ritual, then says the quote, then disappears. If he weren't to say the quote, he could still disappear. If he were to sit there for eternity, I don't know what that would mean but surely it would result in a different path (assuming it wasn't a glitch).

I added paragraphs to make it less of a chore to read. That's very interesting. @BlindBusDrivr had included those top things in the OP, but I've never thought of that being what the note means. Great find!

My understanding is that it has been patched, though I may be wrong.

As @BlindBusDrivr pointed out, one these coordinates goes to Stalingrad, Russia, otherwise known as Volgograd. After seeing @ChinaRepublic's comment above and @PINNAZ pushing someone to look into them, I said I would. Now, as quoted throughout this thread, the journalist from the telephones states that Mr. Rapt has had him "finding all these strange metals and rocks in Russia," and based also on the South Pacific coordinates and mention, I think it's likely that these coordinates are where the journalist went. So, what "strange metals and rocks" are there to find in Stalingrad/Volgograd? Surprisingly, not much, from what I can tell. I'll walk you guys through what I was able to find, however, though I think it's important to note that however interesting it is, there's no real clear connection to stone or metals. There's a region in/near Volgograd known as Medveditskaya Ridge, which is "a chain of rather low, 820-foot hills." It is "considered to be one of the most impressive anomalous zones in Russia," with supposed "flying fireballs,"[1][2] or "ball-lightning."[3] Does this remind anyone else of the fireballs from Shadows of Evil? Additionally, there are many talks of UFOs[1][3] and "the landing site of flying saucers"[2] near here. There's also much buzz about "interconnected underground labyrinths"[1] and "before the war you could walk for miles"[2] before the entrances were destroyed. It is said that the tunnels are home to "a race of snake people,"[3] which reminds me an awful lot of Shangri-La and Vril-ya mythos surrounding Naga's. "There are two springs near the tunnels - one with distilled water and the other with water that has a higher-than-normal level of radiation."[3] We also know that radiation is a common theme in zombies, with Die Glocke and Element 115. Finally, one of the only mentions of stone I could find related to the Volgograd region was a "melted piece of interesting stone" that "was taken to the laboratory" and deemed to "contain no element known to science." It was "a mysterious element that is found in the structure of the melted stone and is the main link of unknown alloy," with an "unusually high" hardness.[4] Again, I want to stress that very little of this is actually relevant to the search, though I find it very interesting and hopefully someone can find something I wasn't able to. There were other mentions of stone, like the Volgograd Balls[5], though I think they're even less related.

I agree, it seems very odd. To me, though, I just think the community needs to go into their EE hunting with an "assume the worst" attitude, not an "assume the best" one. If the latter happens, we get where we are today, with you and others getting lots of ridicule from the rest of the community. This isn't to say it's your fault, by any means, but I do hope you understand where I'm coming from when I say that when something new happens, it isn't immediately labeled as a possible EE. Assume it's a lighting glitch and hope you're wrong, not the other way around, I'd recommend.

Just out of curiosity, how did you determine that it blinks 115?

I had heard someone on Reddit say that IowaGamingHD had agreed to release footage tomorrow. Though that may have been a lie, it especially now seems like no such footage will be coming out.

I was attempting to access a thread of mine and upon entering the URL, was given this message: What is the issue? Anything I need to do to fix this?

Haha don't worry about it, now that we have different universes, this can wait :p

Turned all the radios into spoilers and added radio headers, made by @InfestLithium! I may end up making them a bit smaller, as there are plenty more headers in the works. Will also work with the italicization inside the spoilers, it's not consistent right now. Any suggestions from anyone about how else to improve the thread?

The way I see it, Floyd's motive for killing is nearly identical to Jack's motive for killing: they didn't trust those close to them to keep their word and not rat them out. I'm with you completely on this Nick. In my thread, I said the same thing:
-
So one of the things that's interesting is that his quote is almost identical to what he says in the beginning of Origins: "I must work quickly, there is so much to do. A vessel for Maxis, the staffs, the opening of the gateway." One could argue there's not really an EE but he's just saying things he remembers, or something weird like that. I don't know how much I buy that, but it's interesting to think about.
-
Haha we'll have to wait and see if there's even a camping spot open before saying if they went too far :p Off the top of my head, I can't think of any locations that I say to myself, "yup, that would be a good place to sit," but I also haven't played nearly as much as others. I suppose one could always try the 'fire escape staircase' outside Nero's room. Only two entrances, though I don't remember if the top one will funnel or not.

I'll be forthcoming when I say I'm not a very good Zombies player ( @BlindBusDrivr and @NaBrZHunter can attest), so this map is difficult for me in general. Now, I'm a guy who doesn't mind running tighter trains and getting swiped a few times, so the narrow corridors aren't something that bother me. However, the amount you get slowed down from being hit is immense and how quickly even one zombie can land three hits is incredible. I won't go as far as to say it's worse than it is good, but it certainly adds a much higher level of frustration to my play. Maybe I'll just stick to theorizing :p
-
It's certainly an interesting thing to think about. Perhaps we can better speculate when we find out what the hell the Summoning Key is actually going to do :p
-
When you update something, would you be able to mention the things you added? I was able to figure it out through what I remember last time, but it would still be appreciated :D

I'm so torn on the MP. I definitely think some of the snipers are under-powered, on top of how difficult Treyarch seems to make sniping in general. Curse the Black Ops I quick-scopers that got the whole system changed :p Maps are fun, though they aren't as open as I'd want. I want another version of Wasteland or something. However, that would require better sniping, so that'll never happen. I also wish they'd add back the rest of the original Wager Matches. Gun Game is by far my favorite, but my friends wished for other ones. I feel like I get more hitmarkers than I should, though that's probably a common feeling associated with the player, not the game. But still, it seems excessive. The launchers are pretty fun, I've enjoyed them thus far. Overall I think Advanced Warfare was loads better, but I still enjoy playing. I'll jut have to forego any respectable K/D if I want to play.
