When attempting to edit an old thread, no matter the edit, submitting the topic again results in absolutely no changes to the thread and it's as if I never attempted to edit it. It only happens with this one thread (out of roughly five I've tried to edit). Is there anything that can be done?

It's great to have you around for Black Ops III season, we can't wait for four input! I think many of us here understand the feeling associated with this community and I, for one, can't get enough of it.

Ordered my Xbox One pair! Eeeeek! -
There are two ways in which the order can be thought to have happened. One way is that at some point during the beginning of the outbreak, Dr. Richtofen and the gang ended up at Shi No Numa and eventually decided to go back to Der Riese, likely because Dr. Richtofen needed something. The second way is what we are presented with now: what many people think is the strong possibility that we play in Der Riese immediately and then go to Shi No Numa. As of now, I want everyone to keep in mind that (to the best of my knowledge), option one was always the community consensus. In addition to option one, the World at War trailers have always hinted at the idea that Tank, Takeo, and Nikolai arrived at Shi No Numa separately from Dr. Richtofen. Because of this, the conventional things being mentioned about The Giant doesn't change much about this theory. The dialogue about waking the subjects up, as you mention, does nothing to hurt the theory that they immediately left and went to Shi No Numa. The biggest thing that hurts the theory is the old Dr. Richtofen now being dead, but it must be made clear that this hurts every theory, not just option one. So, to me, Dr. Richtofen's death isn't necessarily nullified, but its equal hurting of all theories means that the prominent theory before is likely still the prominent theory. Therefore, I stick by option one. It will be interesting though to see how this shakes out and if things are going to change as much as we all expect. I'm as excited as I've ever been haha.

Highly recommend seeing my response on the thread below. It'll help with better understanding the overarching ideas behind the story.

I'm surprised to see the lack of Vril-ya references in this thread! Your entire section on the Annunaki is essentially describing the Vril-ya, @PINNAZ. You mention the following: Here's a section on the Vril-ya I wrote previously with @Monopoly Mac (the similarities are unparalleled): Additionally, you only mention ziggurat’s once (in relation to the biblical Tower of Babel), but it should also be mentioned that the Shangri-La temple is a ziggurat. Described as “a pyramidal structure with a flat top,” an archaeologist stated that “it is usually assumed that the ziggurats supported a shrine,” while “the god Marduk was once said to come and sleep in his shrine.” Yet again with Marduk being mentioned, so I think we ought to get some background on him. Marduk is “a late-generation god from ancient Mesopotamia,” and it’s said that though his “original character is obscure, … he was later associated with water, vegetation, judgment, and magic.” When Babylon became the powerful city we think of it as, Marduk “was elevated to the level of supreme god.” When “the Anunnaki gods gathered together to find one god who could defeat the gods rising against them,” Marduk “answered the call and was promised the position of head god.” Now, we know that in Biblical stories, the Devil and his following were cast from Heaven and are referred to as Fallen Angels. Some say that "In Biblical terms, the Fallen Ones never left Earth" and actually "engineered and maintained" "the New World Order" "through 300 of their human descendants who call themselves the Illuminati." Right here, we see a clear connection between the Illuminati and the Fallen Angels, led by the Devil. Remember how I said that the Aryan Vril-ya split into two factions when arriving on Earth? The "good" faction are the ones referred to as the Anunnuki, and in Sumerian terms, the faction that was "evil" were referred to as "the Igigi." The leader of the Igigi, or "evil" faction, was Marduk, who's Hebrew translation is "the adversary." Christians refer to Marduk as the the adversary of mankind: the Devil. This is the group that then traveled south, towards Tibet, and founded Shangri-La. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marduk http://www.ashtarcommandcrew.net/forum/topics/anunnaki-and-illuminati-at-war-now

The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)

Update: Shadows of Evil has been included and updated. -
So, @NaBrZHunter, it gets a little tricky. They're the step below facts, basically. They are theories regarding something in the map that might not be confirmed, but they have strong evidence and general consensus. You could say that that's most of our Zombies Knowledge, but I think the difference is that L1 is when it's the only option and it makes sense. L2 would be if there are x options and it must be one of x options, the best one would be L2. Does that make a little more sense? But yeah, I'm ready to move to Shi No Numa if you are. I'll insert that the timeline for the map is before December 31, 1945, due to a Tank Dempsey quote saying he's been killing Zombies since 1945. Of course, this is contingent upon us believing that Shi No Numa is still before Der Riese, which The Giant is throwing a hiccup in the way of being so sure. I wasn't able to find anything in the ROppen server, though I searched VBush and can include these things: As for L1 knowledge, is there anything else that we can think of?
-
It's interesting how they planned that with The Giant, that had to of been on purpose. No way their primary map can get leaked that way (and it doesn't help that the file size is so massive that they didn't want to put it on the disc).
-
Is there anything else that people think should absolutely be added to Level One Knowledge for Verruckt? If not, would you like to move to Level Two or Level One for Shi No Numa?

The Different Zombies Universes (Plus Time and Location of Each Map)

I hate when Treyarch does that. I refuse to believe there isn't a reason for it, but finding it out is what's difficult. Damn you Treyarch. Also, thank for the heads up. I'll be sure to go through and clean it up. -
@Nightmare Voyager, What do the lyrics in the sample actually say, in your opinion? I went through it about 15 times to be sure.
-
I seem to have lots of difficulty with quotes on the new site. Anyhow, @Nightmare Voyager, I was always under the impression they were different for some reason but after watching the series, those numbers are ingrained in my head haha. Definitely the correct ones. @PINNAZ, I'm curious if the numbers signify anything more than that though, because I feel as though they do. The entire is show is based on good vs. evil, light vs. dark, and time traveling to change the future is a common theme in later seasons. There are multiple other themes as well that correspond, but I don't want to ruin the show for everyone. The first three things you mention (power, teddy, and morgue) contain good information, but I'm unsure if they are relevant. I can't think of any storyline connections to these, just simply gameplay mechanics (or at least with the first two). Do you think they should be included?

I believe those are the only perks avaiable at lauch. Hopefully I am wrong though. What is the point of having such a huge city, but then only include a few perks. Unless they used my idea of having multiple speed cola machines etc in the map. I wondered the same thing. I thought surely those couldn't be the only perks at launch, which is why I was curious. I hope this isn't the case. I believe so. Based on the previews of all the songs, it appears that not one of them has words besides those we know to be perks and Snakeskin Boots, plus it fits the general feel and style of the known perk songs listed. For those who care, the song says the following:

I find it weird that they only included a few of the perk jingles and not all of them; I don't quite the point of that.

Let me know if you need any post pruning or formatting support on any of these renovations. I'm sure I will, so thank you very much. I'll be sure to reach out! -
So first, I don't believe Pernell was with Group 935 as well. Based on his notes, he makes it sound as if he's sitting elsewhere simply receiving transmissions from Peter, not actually overseeing him at any location. Second, we don't know when the outbreak occurs at Verruckt but I'm putting my money between September 10th and September 20th, not before the 10th. The fact that Dempsey was caught at Verruckt on September 10th gives me the impression that the site was still active and guarded. I don't think he would've been caught had the site been overrun before that. Third, there is no known writing of Peter's name. The debate over McKay and McCain is based 100% on the audio. Finally, "here" is either Tunguska or Area 51, not Shi No Numa. Based on the fact that Pernell works with the United States government and that I don't think he was present at Verruckt leads me to believe the answer is Area 51. The numbers that mimic Lost are very intriguing to me. I watched the entire series and the parallel is just incredible. I would like to make a thread at some point going over it.
-
I have my own hesitations about assigning the hand to Peter, solely because the timeline of events during the Verruckt outbreak is too up-in-the-air to be certain of anything. What evidence points to it being someone else, however? As for the spies, I wasn't aware that it was popular opinion to think they were MKUltra spies. The radio very distinctly mentions the OSS haha!

This thread is in renovation mode! Just a bump to get it back on people's radar. -
Verruckt it is! For L1, we've got the location of Wittenau Sanatorium in Berlin, Germany. Now, we know that Verruckt is based off the MP map Asylum and the SP level Ring of Steel. Ring of Steel takes place in Pankow, Berlin, Germany. How would you feel about saying Verruckt is also in Pankow? Additionally, for L1, we have a date range of September 10 and September 20, 1945. This is because when you start a game in Verruckt, it says that we are in the time of September, 1945. Also, the Call of the Dead radios say that a spy was captured in Verruckt on the 10th and the Marine recon team was killed on or before the 20th, so that means that sometime between those dates was when we are playing there. Then there's the backstory for Verruckt, about Dempsey being captured, John getting infected and Smokey having to kill him. We know that Peter was there for a limited amount of time as well. I'm sure I've missed plenty of things, can you think of any?
-
Hopefully with The Giant and Black Ops III's new terminal, there'll be a new Der Riese server that gives us more than the last one :p
-
That's certainly the intention I had haha, so this is awesome that we'll have a bunch of people on board. I think the beginning of the each map is everything we know is true and there's a broad consensus on with much evidence. Then, like concentric rings, we move outbound into theories. I'll do some editing to the OP to make it look nice.

The chain door very much gives me an elevator feel, especially when there seems to be that long red tube above it. Seems to me that the elevator would ascend through that tube.
