Next Gen zombies. What can we realistically expect?
Tac replied to The Clay Bird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm looking forward to that, I enjoyed being able to kill them at once and regathering myself instead of being overwhelmed. -
Power Switch Overcharge (Gameplay Mechanic Idea)

Yeah I gotcha! I like the idea, it would be cool to be implemented. -
Power Switch Overcharge (Gameplay Mechanic Idea)

So we don't have to buy it after we activate this special feature, but if we do buy it during that round, we'd get the upgrade, correct? I guess my question is if it only affects the ones you've bought before the round or if they are all become affected? Cool idea though, good thinking. -
Next Gen zombies. What can we realistically expect?
Tac replied to The Clay Bird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This is hard to tell what we will get, realistically. I'm confident that we will see heavy story-related maps. After a very measly Black Ops II caused upset and thoroughly confused gamers, I do believe there will be some level of clarification. Any more of this same crap we got last game will cause fans to be pushed away, in my opinion. -
I don't know any off the top of my head. To be honest, and I need to specify this to save my own ass haha, I don't think there are any that put the two in the same sentence or anything like that. If I remember correctly, they play into the circumstantial evidence (that also has nothing to do with Origins, due to its controversy). Give me some time to compile everything and I'll make a thread when I can, seeing as this thread isn't for this discussion. My apologies for throwing it off course. I'm with @Nightmare Voyager though on his last sentence, we were certainly meant to understand this more than we do.

I believe there are quotes from the games that suggest it may be, I'll try to find them. I do know that there's evidemce from GKNOVA6, Treyarch's Black Ops viral, that point to it, as well as circumstantial evidence dealing with Moon, the MPD, and ancient mythology.

I enjoyed reading this theory, and she definitely has some "sway" over Aether, which is actually Hell. I'll see what I can tie this in with, well done.

I'd love to have some of those gamertags again, it makes me giddy just to think about!
-
Exactly, they're somewhere else. The only thing that gets me is that Gersh was in Aether and he was controlling Ascensions electronics, and Dr. Maxis is controlling global electronics and we have no idea where he is, but I assume it's not Aether. Just makes it confusing trying to tell where he's at. Haha I remember those theories, would've been interesting to see how it panned out, especially since Paris was supposed to be Moon. If that had happen, Black Ops 2 would've turned out very different.

I'm pretty sure that Kustover Posten was a concentration camp or some sort of imprisonment complex back on Earth in which those that the Germans deemed less worthy were held and eventually sent to Moon so they could be killed and their souls harnessed for Dr. Richtofen's plan.

Two old users by the name of "TheOnlyShapeshifter" and "digit" are no longer in the database, meaning they either deleted their accounts or changed their names. I doubt the first, so anyone know their new names? Thanks!

I'm hesitant to say the true role of the towers because I just don't know. Granted, Black Ops II is not my forte, but all the arguments I've heard about the towers don't sit well with me. I used to believe that Dr. Maxis was in Griffin Station, since he speaks there, but I think it's much more than that. Remember Gersh, who could only speak through the Ascension PA system and could display images on the television? I think something similar happened to Dr. Maxis, I'm just not sure what yet.

@Stop mocking me0, Die Glocke was much more than just a wunderwaffe that allowed for flight. Die Glocke was originally a device that could be anything from an anti-gravity propulsion to a time machine. This is from the Project Nova campaign intel. Now, I believe that they eventually separated the two tests (and added one more). One Die Glocke experiment is the teleporters, which, as we know, act as time machines. Note that they are literally in the shape of a bell. The other Die Glocke experiment was the anti-gravity propulsion system, which we can see from the Vril-1 spacecraft blueprints on the Der Riese board, which is not in the shape of a bell. The third experiment involved in the Die Glocke program was a particle accelerator. This site plants the rumor (which we know is all that Treyarch needs) and BlindBusDrivr points it out in this thread.

Thanks again for implementing this fellas, much appreciated.

GRILL, I find it totally plausible to say that there could be a propulsion system in the temple, as opposed to it being a Vimana. In Shangri-La, there's multiple boxes that talk about a rocket launch and the one in Chinese says "rocket propellant/propeller/propelled" depending on the context. Yes, I agree that this is referring to the monkey launches when they take your perks, but this shows that modern forms of propulsion present on the map so I won't rule it out yet. I don't think it uses it, but I can't say it doesn't.

+30 +60 +90 how do people get these points?
Tac replied to visualkeirockstar's topic in General Zombies Discussion
When shooting a zombie, the bullet can fully penetrate two and hit the third. Therefore, you get 10 points for each zombie the bullet hits, which is three if they may be lined up, so that may be where the 30 are coming from. -
Glad to see something like this. I had a high round a few years ago and before I was able to capture a pic or anything, my Xbox shut off, so it's good to know I can put it down without having to replicate it. Because honestly, I'm not the player I was and could never do it haha

Alright I have to get this out there. If I insinuated that currently, zombies are being controlled by these HAARP towers, I apologize. I do not believe that. I believe that the person in the MPD controls them through the Aether dimension. I was trying to make no connection between the zombies and the HAARP towers, simply that they were powered by Vril. I did mention Group 601, which I believe specialized in mind control and weaponry, however we have no real evidence of anything they did so I wasn't trying to insinuate any connection between this mind control and zombies. There may be one, who knows, but I wasn't trying to make one. To go along with @GRILL's post about the Vril-ya, there's so much more to them and their involvement than simply the V-R11. Agartha is mentioned by name in the game, Vril is mentioned by name, an alien race is mentioned, we see Black Sun logos consistently, there's an image of the Vril-1 saucer in Der Riese, and I'm sure there are more.

What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Tac replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It would be really awesome, I'd love to see it. I'm already getting excited enough for zombies on this Next-gen, let alone all the maps I already love! Automatic buy for me as well.
