Treyarch held multiple live streams in the build up to Black Ops 3, from the D.I.C.E. Conference last February (wow, it’s been that long?) to their Black Ops Fridays just before launch. Luckily for fans, they’re back at it again and in the last two months, they’ve had four! But don’t worry, because if you don’t feel like watching the many hours of streams, the summaries have arrived! (Note that I cut out details from livestream two because it was primarily about new Black Market items in the Awakening DLC). Before I start, though, something you should understand about me is that I didn’t have very fast internet when I was younger, and as such, I was never able to develop any skills. I am, as some would say, a late bloomer when it comes to Call of Duty (especially multiplayer). Due to this, as I’ve recently played Black Ops 3, I gained a new appreciation for multiplayer and the complexity behind it. Watching these live streams has been kind of fun, as they dive into a few things more intricately. Alright sorry to anyone who hasn't watched, but I'm not gonna throw this into a spoiler. He definitely made it sound like it would be upgradeable not just in the future, but on an entirely different map than Shadows of Evil. The phrasing and emphasis made it sound that way to me.

I'm unsure @Stop Mocking Me0, though I would disagree with your argument (to an extent). I feel as though the point of getting the map is for extended usage and enjoyment, not to get achievements or do the EE, so I don't mind them being able to do those things for free.

Here are the details all summed up in an image below. If you're on PlayStation 4, free DLC and 2XP sounds like a pretty good deal :P

What would you rather me do, post it solely on mine and have others miss it? Post it solely on the others even though there's discussion on mine? There are multiple posts on it, so either the posts get shut down or conversation will continue. What makes you think he's the Captain of a boat as opposed to another branch of the military? We've known a boat would be involved since the DLC 1 poster and one of the ciphers, so how come now?

I anticipated it based on the way they now release the DLC. They changed the system so that now (and this is speaking roughly), everyone gets the DLC in a patch to their console as opposed to downloading it from the store. This means that they have it on their system but can't access it, and ATVI can just flip the switch to allow access for all and promote weekends like these!

If any of you are like me, you have just recently prestiged and were prepared to grind hard through the ranks this weekend. Well, the grind just got a bit easier. Treyarch tweeted out this morning that both Double XP and Double Weapon XP will run from Friday morning to Monday morning (10 AM PST as the start and end time). While I was hoping for a Double Cryptokey weekend in honor of the new Supply Drop taunts, gestures, and weapons, this will certainly suffice. With yesterday's credible leaks regarding Infinity Ward's next game and Treyarch live-streaming their DLC 2 premiere tomorrow, this is shaping up to be a fun week for Call of Duty fans. Are you referring to Blundell saying pre-launch that there would be something we would never figure out? Are you relating that to this Thursday? I'm sorry, I am confused.

@Stop Mocking Me0 That's a good question, but I'm curious if there even will be a big surprise. My feeling right now is no, but I'm curious on your thoughts about this.

At the time of posting the article, I wasn't aware there was another topic on it. When I found the topic, I merely commented that I made an article and anyone can look if they wanted to (considering mine had more content and in my eyes, the other did not do a "perfect enough job"). Yup exactly, there's no "taking it from under the rug." The point of news articles is to offer more in-depth discussion about an idea and make it more prevalent. Just because there's a topic on it in the site doesn't mean there shouldn't be a news article about it. EDIT: @Nightmare Voyager, perhaps the confusion is coming because I forgot to add this to the news section as well, so it just appeared as a regular post. My apologies then if that's where this is coming from.

You are paying x amount of dollars for what you get, not everything that comes with the game later. That's how I see it at least.

Call of Duty fans, rejoice! Coming on Thursday, March 31st (only two days from now!!), is the first look into Black Ops 3's DLC 2. Many were expecting a Zombies trailer similar to Nikolai's Memories (read a breakdown here) to appear today, but alas it has not happened yet. Perhaps as compensation (or purely coincidental), the Call of Duty twitter account sent out a tweet letting us know that the wait is almost over. Note that while the franchise says this is our "first look" at DLC 2, it really isn't. Remember that just a couple weeks ago, an image of the Zombies map was leaked and spread like wildfire (by leaked, we mean the team at Activision messed up). For a breakdown of that as well, I recommend going to this thread and continuing the discussion. So, what do you guys think? What do you expect the community will get to see? Update 1: Treyarch has confirmed that they will be streaming, discussing the multiplayer maps as well as having NoahJ456 on to talk Zombies with Jason Blundell! I've seen the comparison to that game a few times, or rather the hopeful thinking for what people would prefer. I don't understand it either, as I have not played it, but I'm with you on not understanding. The way I see it, microtransactions are not a bad thing and people are expecting things to just be free.
