GlitchingQueen came out with a video on it, for those interested:

While I believe that is very much up for debate, @Rissole25 did say he was making a thread on that so I think we should probably wait until that comes out haha. Sorry man! What're your thoughts on the Wolf King?
-
@Tattoo247 someone on Reddit linked me this (I can't remember who for the life of me)
-
That's right, it was your image! Thanks for posting it!
-
I have seen them elsewhere on the map too when I swatch gameplay, but this is very interesting
-
Wow @BlindBusDrivr! I know just who to ask ;)
-
xD Welcome to the site, and I hope you find some people who can help ya out with this!

I think Mod of the Dead and then the general theme of Hell in zombies shows that isn't exactly the case, but I do see your point. They're described in a similar manner elsewhere so you may be correct. That's identical to how I feel. Their duty is not to humans, but often times the interests align.
-
Heck no! There's no way. The entity we've always assumed was in the MPD was Lucifer/the Devil/Satan/etc, and you think we could kill the Devil that easily? Additionally, if we were facing the Devil, I feel like they would have made it much more obvious (i.e. 666, pentagram, anything stereotypical). I don't believe the Vril-ya/Keepers are inherently "good" for humanity, and I think anyone who thought that had a misconception. They are fighting good and evil forces in the Universe, and a human can be good or eviI, so I'm hesitant to say they are always 100% of the time good for us. That's not to say it's a bad thing, I mean who knows what it is. We have no clue.
-
Hard to say whether we've seen it. The trend, though, is very clear. Note how many characters learn a great deal about zombies and all the sudden we realize they had a journal or book with them (Yuri in Ascension, Stuhlinger in Black Ops 2, Pablo in Origins, Jessica in Shadows, etc.). I don't know what to make of it, but it's no accident.

I can't get enough of this map right now. I'm having a heyday with theories right now. Thank you Treyarch, very much. Der Eisendrache is the response necessary after Black Ops 2, a three year wait, and then a bit of a downer in Shadows. I can't wait to see what kinds of resolutions come to Gersh/Gersch (I suspect he worked at Call of the Dead), Schuster, and maybe even Sophia! I was hoping Black Ops wasn't going to be the best, and wow have you performed. 10/10.

Absolutely @PINNAZ, with Stalingrad after that for Nikolai. -
First, I edited my post above and mentioned you. What? No, they weren't in the truck. They step out of the giant that was shot by the Germans in the truck.
-
If they rode the robot from Giant to DE, I think it's safe to say they're in the same timeline. There is no reason to think it isn't. And yes, there's proof of there being a young Richtofen. We have the Origins cutscene. And yeah, not entirely the same but certainly very close. That's incorrect. They never numbered them in the trailer, just said that they were one of many. Just because they said "I killed three Richtofen's" doesn't mean it's Richtofen's 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.
-
Did you see the end of the EE, @JJMFP? Not trying to be rude, but a lot of that is from a long time ago haha :p
-
We definitely are. We should make that abundantly clear. They are there man. It's from the Origins cutscene timeline.
-
OH MY GOD WHAT JUST HAPPENED, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK
-
Yeah once people started seeing the Nan Modal references, it cleared up nicely. I can't wait!
-
I believe that ought to be a thread of its own, or at least handled elsewhere (to avoid clutter ;)), but it could sure make for a good discussion!
-
I actually didn't even think of this, but it's incredibly possible! Great thinking!
-
Haha quick, go check if it's in Black Ops! :p

Hey guys, Tac here! Der Eisendrache has given us a ton of new information to look through and included in this is some stuff about the Mexican and Pablo Marinus you may enjoy! The Mexican “I think I might have killed the specimen from Mexico. His spleen is on the floor and and he's not moving anymore. I can verify with certainty that the barrier is not located in the spleen. Dr. Maxis must continue no matter the cost.” For a long time, ever since this Call of the Dead radio, the community has wondered about “the specimen from Mexico.” He was killed by Dr. Richtofen during experiments, while the doctor seemingly searched his spleen to find the trust barrier that hindered Dr. Maxis from controlling the undead. For a long time, the community theorized that this test subject was the missing portrait on Kino der Toten, but never again was he brought up. Then, in Der Eisendrache, he resurfaced. “The last test subject, the Mexican, died, but during the autopsy I have discovered the key to create the army that we seek. We are now ready to capture the four subjects identified in report forty four.” This is a cipher that, when decoded, comes from Dr. Richtofen. However, it isn’t the man from Der Riese, nor is it the one from Origins, but from The Giant. I’m sure you’re thinking, “Tac, that’s the same person as the Origins Richtofen!” You’re correct in saying that the playable Dr. Richtofen is the same, but I’m not thinking of him. I’m thinking of the man on the right: In the “original” universe, the Mexican’s spleen came out onto the floor and Richtofen announced the test subject as dead, and that was that (sort of, read to end). Now, in the Giant and Der Eisendrache universe, Dr. Richtofen was performing his autopsy on the corpse and discovered the key. It’s entirely unclear if Dr. Richtofen found the key in both universes (i.e. neither story regarding the Mexican contradicts the other), but we can at least say that in Der Eisendrache’s, Dr. Richtofen found something peculiar. Pablo Marinus Our introduction to Pablo was in Origins, when Dr. Richtofen wrote that Pablo’s journal had “been a valuable source of information.” Immediately, we knew that he was of some importance, but we had no idea how. Then, again, Der Eisendrache presents us with a silver platter (literally): Not seeing it? Well, this is the innards of a deceased test subject (as indicated in the lower left) who happens to have the name Pablo (see: bottom right). But, more importantly, there’s very clearly a Black Sun on Pablo’s insides. What could the cause for this be, is he a Keeper? It is their logo/insignia, after all. And also, what exactly is the thing laying in the pan? Conclusion Why, it’s a ruptured spleen of course! The evidence indicates that Pablo Marinus is indeed this Mexican test subject, and I couldn’t be more excited! Now, I have to admit that I’ve omitted something above that may, or may not, be useful. In regards to the Call of the Dead radio, you’ll recall that I said Dr. Richtofen announced that the spleen was on the floor and the subject dead, and “that was that.” Well, because it wasn’t relevant earlier, I decided it should go here. At the end of the radio, Richtofen says “His spleen is on the floor” and shortly thereafter, a monkey comes and steal the spleen, and Dr. Richtofen chases after it. From there, the radio cuts to silence and you’re left wondering, did he ever get the spleen back in the original universe?

Don't mean to double post, but with the new Der Eisendrache stuff today about Takeo, I think you're absolutely correct @Matuzz. Division #9 (and by extension the island and swamp) seem to be joint projects. Great stuff, as usual.
