  1. Once again, showing my support for the cause. Thank you all for supporting me also, it really means so much to me -Jolteon
  2. I'm honoured that you guys have so much faith in me CoDz has called for a man to step up and be the man to lead from the front. I will answer that call. However, I also call out to you CoDz. I call to you all to join me in a quest to not only make a successful YouTube channel, but I ask you to help me show the world that we are the best community out there and we are truly the best Zombies forum there is. I bid you stand, MEN OF THE WEST! -Jolteon
  3. Haha I'm flattered I would be more than happy to do this of course, should the rest of the Forum be ok with it, but I wouldn't wish to intrude if the community wasn't ok with it You've pretty much summed it up perfectly. The problem we hve is that right now there is nobody willing to take charge and put the extra effort it. There are plenty of people willing to do it, but we have to remember whoever is in charge is directly representing CoDz and so they have to someone that can be trusted with the responsibilty to the death. Personally I think we need somebody who is fairly well known in the Zombies community and is extremely trustworthy to take charge, and then the community can "submit" videos for the channel and that individual, or a group of individuals, can filter what should or should not go onto the channel. On top of this, there can be a group of people that will regularly upload to the CoDz channel. Once again, these individuals will be trusted members of the community, not just any guy from the forum. I dunno... It's a complicated aituation but I think in the long run it will only be beneficial to the forums. Lord of the Rings reference FTW!!! -Jolteon
  4. Wow, this was an awesome read! -Jolteon
  5. I personally consider myself an extremely average player. I have some really good games, but for the most part I'm nothing special. Because of this I think that the definition of high round for me would be what I believe I have the potential to reach, which, for the most part, is 50 solo (other than Ascension which would be 150 cuz it's so easy ) Co-Op, well I guess 30 on every map I haven't hit 25 on and 35 I haven't hit 30 on. That jsut leaves 3 maps. Der Riese I would say 40, Ascension 50 and Moon 60. -Jolteon
  6. We could at least advertise the podcast on the channel if not post the podcast on it I completely agree. We need to have a big open meeting. There are actually a bunch of things that the community may wish to discuss so it would be seriously beneficial to the overall functioning of the site if we could all do a big gwet together. -Jolteon
  7. I think it would be awesome to see a nuch of videos outlining some of the biggest and best CoDz theories. A lot of them could still be relevant with s little tweaking here and there. On top of this, it would include the stuff mentioned above. Gameplay, stratergies, new theories, it could even outline updates to the forum etc. Maybe, just maybe, if they would be up for it, it could also upload the Podcast Der Toten podcasts? Personally I think that it is something interesting for all Zombies fans and it would certainly get it some more exposure. Of course it would be up to you guys running it, I just thought it would be cool I think we need to get together a group of people to properly discuss this one day. Kind of like a staff meeting kind of thing but with some of us regular users invited along. We can discuss the fine details and we can get this thing up and running. To me it just doesn't seem logical to let the YouTube channel go to waste. -Jolteon
  8. In that case the title could be misleading. To me it suggests its a place to vent your annoyance at the changing series. I'm sorry I don't mean to be a grouch Sometime I can be weird and randomly blow up over random and insignificant things I'm over reacting and I'm sorry -Jolteon
  9. So, buying a door leading to the perk and then having enough money to purchase it is giving you the perk? I don't ever remember starting a Zombies map with a perk. I've always had to work for them. I will be in the minority, I don't care if my likes are reciprocated or accepted. Outside of Grill's offer to play the map with me and share the enjoyment he gets out of it, nothing will change my mind. You can accept that or not, but I will not relinquish my campaign to discuss my discontent with the new direction of Zombies. This thread will continue with or without your input. If it really bothers you so much that I dislike MotD, maybe you should make an offer similar to Grill's...Or find a different thread to rant about. Dude I couldn't care less whether you like the map or not. The issue I have is that you are effectively using a forum dedicated to appreciating Zombies as a way to vent your displeasure. This isn't the place. -Jolteon
  10. See this is where I disagree massively. There a really A LOT of games that completely change between games despite having success with an old formula. Example number 1; Dragon Age. Dragon Age Origins was a truly awesome game, and yet when Dragon Age 2 came out, they completely altered the combat system and the general style of play. Did this deter from the overall functionality of the game? No! Of course it didn't! To be completely honest, there hasn't been that much changed at all really when you really think about it. They have made it harder by making you work for the Perks rather than just giving them to you. They have put a focus on the storyline; but considering that is why the vast majority of us are here, I can't see why there is a problem with that. They've brought in new methods of play; new stratergies. Again, what is the issue here? The simple fact is, Zombies has changed and it's not going back. So how about instead of spending your time complaining about how "Zombies is Changing for the Worse", how about you embrace the fact that most of the Zombies community are actually enjoying the changes and you consider the opinions of others? The changes would not have been made if the majority of the fan base didn't want them! I'm sorry my friend, but you are in the minority here. If it really bothers you that much then go back to BO1 and play those maps. Zombies has changed. Deal with it. End rant. -Jolteon
  11. there will be something big; you can garuntee that. However it won't be an all Zombies DLC. We saw at the CoD World Championships just how big the Multiplayer is now. There's no way they'll have the last, epic DLC without something badass for Multiplayer fans. What we will most likely see is 4 Multiplayer maps, one of them most likely being a throwback to a classic (similar to Hazard on BO1, Terminal on MW3 and now Studio on BO2). As for Zombies however; well, who knows. I doubt there'ss be multiple maps. I personally think we will see one huge, epic map with an epic Easter Egg with either a huge cliffhanger at the end, like Moon, or with an epic conclusion that will represent the conclusion of Zombies. Who knows. -Jolteon
  12. I would assume it is because the Zombies team is hard at work with DLC 3 and 4. With the way the maps are evolving, you can bet it is taking a lot more work to complete each map. By doing it this way, the Zombies team get more chance to perfect the maps; rather than rushing them and having issues, complications and innevitably having fans losing faith. I personally think this is a smart move. -Jolteon
  13. Well this thread certainly is a big angry bowl of hatred Let's all calm down and sing a happy song together: ooyqk_sZguk Now, onto my opinions. Okay, TranZit sucks. Okay, you have to work harder. But you have to get used to it; Zombies is not what it was on World at War. I'm with you guys; nothing pleases me more than travelling back to good ol' World at War and slaying some Zombies on Der Riese. But Treyarch woudn't be changing Zombies so much if it weren't for the better. Zombies would die if it didn't change. World at War showed us the start of the Zombies saga. With Black Ops they showed us the potential of Zombies with the epic Easter Eggs. Black Ops Two represents stage three; the era of building our own fate. Zombies is evolving to keep itself alive. If in Black Ops they just pumped out the same old Der Riese style maps, people would have gotten bored and given up. They definitely would have if they didn't change for Black Ops 2. Treyarch have done what 99% of companies fail to do. Continue one storyline to expand over three games. THREE GAMES. And, to be completely honest, I wouldn't be too surprised to see it reach a fourth, or even a game completely solo. Would it be nice to have another Der Riese styled map? Sure it would. Would I much prefer that Zombies evolves and continues for as long as it possibly can? Most definitely. Treyarch are a truly fantastic company that actually listens to fan feedback. We should respect that and accept that things have to change so that Zombies can live on. -Jolteon
  14. It certainly is a plausible link. However, I think it is probably a little TOO hypothetical and coincidental to perhaps be considered as a definitive link. Personally, I would expect Darvas to be the "Fantasy" map, although I'm pretty sure I would be the only one to follow this, and given the last map of BO1 was originally supposed to be Paris NOT Moon, this one is difficult to place. Certainly if it were to be a city map I would expect Paris or London. Specifically the Parisian Catacombs. Especially given how long Treyarch have had to perfect a Paris map for an epic conclusion to BO2. However if we were to go down the line of Moon, I guess I would say I would expect us to be travelling either to Hell, or to Aether itself. That's probably just my wishful thinking However I correctly predicted China so who knows! Good job! -Jolteon
  15. Congrats my friends, you two certainly deserve the honour of being Dwellers. @Undead, thnks to you and the rest of the staff for listening to me and embracing my ideas. It proves to me that you guys do in fact still care about what the users think. Thanks for restoring my faith, and I apologize for ever losing it Congrats once again Flammen and Infest. I look forward to seeing you guys in action. -Jolteon
  16. Image fixed XD -Jolteon
  17. This is just going to be a short thread, but I found the following picture online and found it to be another perfect example to why the Parisian Catacombs would be a perfect location for a Zombies map. So, how does this link in? Well, let me take you all the way back to 2011. November 2011. The release of Black Ops 1. Specifically to one of my favourite maps, Kino. In this map we discovered that the theatre was used to 'brainwash' individuals. Well, let me put this simply, this theatre, in the Catacombs, was used in a similar fashion. Don't get me wrong, I know this was dated 2004, but I just thought it was 1. pretty humorous, and 2. actually relevant to my favourite theory XD I hope you all enjoyed this very short theory and I'll see you all next time! -Jolteon
  18. I 100% agree we need to start right away. It just seems pointless waiting for an intro because no matter what there will ALWAYS be somebody unhappy with it. Personally I liked the second of the two posted by Grill, but I'm not sure what others think of that. Another thing, you have a huge amount of users that are willing and able to get involved. Myself included. I specifically have two days of my week dedicated to making YouTube content and doing YouTube based work. Currently I spend both days on my personal channel, but I am more than happy, hell I would be exstatic, to change things around so one day is dedicated to my channel and one day is dedicated to CoDz. Secondly, I recently stopped posting Call of Duty content on my channel so I have a backlog of videos and ideas and theories and such just waiting to be created and uploded. Plus I really want to get back into the Call of Duty world but all of my Subscribers are subscribed for Pokemon content so it would not work at all... Haha I sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet, but I genuinely think I can benefit the channel I also liked Rissole's idea of Way or Chopper handling the channel. They both have experience, and are probably the best minds for differentiating between beneficial content and content that should be left out. I think CoDz needs a solid discussion about all this. The YouTube channel is clearly something that we all want to get going ASAP, and there are a bunch of people willing to be involved and that have expressed interest. I mean think about it... Who has the best strategies around? CoDz does. Who has the best theories around? CoDz does. Who has the best damn community around? That's right. CoDz does. Who has some of the best players in the world in that community? CoDz does. Let's show the world what CoDz is made of; and show the world we are the best damn Zombie slayers around. -Jolteon
  19. Just to reiterate the things people above me have said, I've actually made a pretty huge thread about this too. It's awesome other people come up with the same ideas Check it out here http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/vBulle ... ay-to-Hell The video posted by MrRoflWaffles is very closely linked to this theory so I'm sure you will be interested! It's such an old thread that I never really came back to update it after the release of Black Ops 2, but I DID however upload an updatory theory to my YouTube channel. I've also posted the original theory to it. You can watch them below: The original theory: Jr5WlhhpQ-g The updated theory: mXqUMd_o2bM The first video was my first ever YouTube video so it's pretty freaking terrible, but it has all the information of my original theory. The second is much better as it was uploaded only 4 months ago, and basically ties in the idea of TranZit with the Catacombs theory. It's a little outdated since the release of Die Rise, but my channel doesn't upload Call of Duty anymore so I never really got round to updating the theory after its release... One day I will do that in the form of a thread, but right now time is a little thin on the ground to do so XD Anyways, I really like your theories and this thread in general is very well put together. I'm gonna be very forward here and offer a hand out to you. I would love to chat about all this sometime with you. Y'know, put two heads together in a collaboration to turn what is essentially two brilliant theories into one SUPERDOOPERAWESOMEEPIC theory. I think given we are both very interested in the idea of the Parisian Catacombs theory and clearly we both have a decent amount on knowledge on the matter, it seems logical for us to come together and put together the best thread possible. Who knows? Maybe it will be as good as an AlphaSnake theory  Let me know what you think of my theories, and if you are interested in a collaboration some day -Jolteon
  20. Happy New Year everyone, I hope it holds something awesome for you all! -Jolteon
  21. I wouldn't expect any help any time in the future. None of you were around during the BO1 Zombies discussions, and it was WORSE than now. There was so much discussion on the potential continuation of the Ascension Easter Egg it was unreal. Treyarch STILL have told us nothing on whether there is in fact more to the Ascension Easter Egg. For all we know, the Treyarch employees are all sat together pointing and laughing at the great success of the Ascension Easter Egg. It could be their greatest success. Besides, what would we all be here for if they gave us hints whenever we got stuck? I'm sure things will get clearer over time, just be patient my friends -Jolteon
  22. Interesting. I just reported this guy for advertising, but what the German Bot (IKR!) has just said is German Bot is deep and thoughtful -Jolteon
  23. Incorrect. The guns in fact have no relevance whatsoever to the storyline. This fact is more known than pretty much anything else. This is easily provable, unless you can give me an explanation as to how an American military m16 ended up in a Nazi theatre? No? Okay then. Currently it is still debated when green run is set however I still firmly believe that it is set in the sixties not in the future. -Jolteon
  24. Welcome our newest recruit From what I saw in the stream you are sure to love it here! If you have any questions feel free to drop me a PM and I can help out! Enjoy yourself! -Jolteon
  25. I like this take. It's entirely plausible and makes a lot of sense. Good job EJ! -Jolteon
