Not bad, not bad at all. It certainly is an interesting book, and it does in fact give a lot of perspective on the matter of the Zombies storyline. Good work my friend, and keep it up. I see you are relatively new around these parts. Have you posted an introduction? If not then I implore you go and do that now. If you have, then just enjoy yourself -Jolteon

Zombie disc 2 ? DLC seperated ?
Jolteon replied to punkrockzombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
May I refer you to my previous post. The cost, although seemingly small, adds up to a rather extensive amount for something that could be avoided. -Jolteon -
Every damn reason why the girl on the poster isnt samantha!
Jolteon replied to CLAYMORE's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I have not read this article... Anyone care to confirm this articles existence? I knew it would be Cold War, I even posted a thread here and a Youtube video about it, but it would be nice to get some confirmation -Jolteon -

Although it is yet to be confirmed, I have all but proven that Black Ops Two Zombies will be taking place in the Cold War Era, not the Future. So that point is still invalid I'm afraid. -Jolteon -
True dat. -Jolteon

Are we even going to be getting a Zombies trailer?
Jolteon replied to Jolteon's topic in General Zombies Discussion
In fact, both of your statements are incorrect :? I agree, there WILL be a Zombies reveal, however this by no means confirms a trailer. It could just be an influx of information. Also, the music video, the trailers for both Shi No Numa AND Der Riese were music videos and came out weeks before the actual maps. So again, incorrect. Sorry to be a douchebag but I wanted to point that stuff out XD -Jolteon -
Is it not an 18? Surely they will be denied access? At least, that is what happened last time they went to Eurogamer... -Jolteon

Hello there CoDz and Zombies faithfuls. I come to you today to pose a question. Have any of you considered that we may not get a Zombies trailer for Black Ops Two? We didn't get one for Black Ops (albeit it cam very late, but we still never got it before game release), and to be honest apart from the odd very minor hint at Zombies news (not once a trailer though) I have yet to see any 'confirmation' that we will see a trailer whatsoever. I do not believe we will see a trailer for Black Ops Two Zombies. So now, what next? Well, now I invite you all to post as much as you can trying to prove me wrong and change my pessimistic views. Seriously, go nuts, give me reason to change my opinion over this. However, I warn thee, I am a man who follows his gut, my opinion will be a tough one to change. Ready? GO! -Jolteon

Jolteon replied to CLAYMORE's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Quick question, have any of you considered that this may in fact just be a random woman who until BO2 will have no relation whatsoever to the storyline or BO Zombies? To me this seems like a much more likely outcome -Jolteon -
Zombie disc 2 ? DLC seperated ?
Jolteon replied to punkrockzombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Afraid to burst your bubbles, but it will be on one disc. Reason? $$$ Money. Activision have never really shown any care towards the customer, only towards the cash going into there pockets. So, if Treyarch considered two discs, Activision would have 'advised' they reduce the game size to one disc. Think of it this way, each disc would cost maybe half a dollar roughly? Maybe more? Maybe less? Currently there are just over 1 million people playing Call of Duty Black Ops or MW3 on multiplayer. Bearing in mind this is JUST multiplayer, and then take into account people playing Zombies OR offline, it probably amounts to roughly 2 million people. Then take into account the amount of people that won't be playing Multiplayer and will buy BO2 only for the zombies, and people who will buy BO2 as there first game CoD game, and THEN Christmas figures etc. it amounts to at least 3 million people. They will probably distribute an extra 2 million on top of all of that as well, as most developers will do, as a 'just in case' (faults, problems etc.). So, let's call it a clean 5 million games that they distribute to the world for sale. For EACH extra disc they are spending half a dollar, which totals up to a whopping 2.5 million dollars just to give the game on two discs. Not worth it? You bet your ass it's not. However, two DLC packs seems a little more likely. It costs Activision no more to distribute two DLC packs... However money still comes into the equation. Selling the Zombie maps alongside the Multiplayer maps meant that Activision knew that everyone would be buying the DLC whether it was just for the Multiplayer maps, or just the Zombies. If they were to sell them seperately, they would make a huge loss. Say for every BO2 player, 25% only play the Multiplayer and 25% only play the Zombies roughly (this seems accurate to me, although it could fluctuate amounts for each side, 50% seems right to me) then they are losing roughly 50% already from people who will only buy one of the DLC packs. Add on another 10-20% of people who won't buy either of the DLCs, and it totals to a potential 70% loss on all DLC sales because they sold them seperately. Money my friends. it's all that Activision cares about. Apologies for the size of the wall above, but to summarise, Activision care far too much about money and not enough about the customer to do either of the subjects in question. Thanks for reading. -Jolteon -

Keep that foul language off of our forums please. -Jolteon -
Agreed, it is a good idea, however to me this doesn't seem likely. To start with, Treyarch probably had no idea Nuketown would take off as much as it did, and so the names probably have no relevance to any future plans. Secondly, with how much the fans of Zombies love the original four characters, it seems highly unlikely that Treyarch would get rid of them for four unknown people with no real relevance. If anything, I think it is more likely to have 'guest' appearances like Five or Call of the Dead. My prediction would be characters from the campaign. Perhaps many of us will finally see our dreams realized as they throw Reznov into Zombies? -Jolteon

So for example I couldn't put... Oh, I don't know, Undead xP smells good? -Jolteon I don't see why not? I'm flattered. DARN YOU CHANGING MY POST! YOU CANNOT SILENCE THE TRUTH! UNDEAD XP SMELLS! -Jolteon

Lol, no, Survivor was blue, Veteran was green -Jolteon

If Veteran WERE to return, it would have to be seriously revised. There was far too much green before and it really showed once the viral started. I'm thinking at least 2 years of regular CoDz service as a minimum because otherwise it will get seriously overcrowded with colour again. However, I, like yourself, would like some variation of time period based Usergroup to return. Just to give thanks for those who stick around -Jolteon

OOOORRRAAAAAHHHHHHH If the medals were causing harm to anyone I would totally agree. I just think they're neat and nifty way to show off achievements... Remember friends, I'm on your side with the Usergroups etc. HELL FREAKING YES THIS IS THE BEST NEWS SINCE EVER!!!! Seriously, I used to use the chat so much, and it was incredibly fun! -Jolteon

Why are you all arguing? Just because YOU don't like medals, it does NOT mean that others agree! I myself do in fact like having the medals, and find that they are a nice perk as a form of reward for being dedicated. The medal system took a lot of time and effort, and I think it is pointless in complaining about them because until they are a hinderance to the site then there will be no reason to remove them. As for the Premium system... Well, is it not just exactly like your average Donor system, just with extra perks? I for one will be buying the One Year Premium without hesitation, and may even perhaps donate more afterwards. I genuinely don't understand why people are so annoyed about this, because I think it all looks AWESOMESAUCE!!!!! Just one question, how will UK residents go about paying for the Premium? Just curious on cost etc. and how it will work and stuffs... This looks so freaking cool I seriously cannot wait for this -Jolteon

Who's this joker? I bet he thinks he's all important... HEY CARBON! -Jolteon

Ignore my previous post. I was being idiotic. I somehow forgot that electrons can't be positively charged... I guess that's why I failed ALevel Chemistry I've had a few other ideas, but nothing has really amounted to any succession... I'm gonna keep digging. However, since we have passed 12 hours, I think we can debunk this theory. -Jolteon

After watching Waffle's latest video, I have devised my own small theory based around mathematics and science. At first glance, at least to me, this screamed out Algebraic Logarithm, and to be honest, in a way it STILL tells me that, despite it being wrong. However, science is ruling my brain right now, and is telling me that it is in fact science related. So, here goes: In chemistry, the letter 'e' can be used for... Well, not much. A capital E, such as in E=mc squared, stands for energy. However, this cannot be energy, as that E must be a capital. Sorry Einstein, your E is out of this equation. However, if you were to use a lower case e both Chemistry AND Physics, it stands for just one thing, electron charge. So, consider this, without the ability to use superscript on Twitter (as far as I'm aware), could Reza have used +4.32e to represent the electrons of Uup having a positive charge of +4.32! As for the ns... Well, nanoseconds seem accurate enough, but you cannot add time to electron charge My guess would be that it stands for something else chemistry/physics related... I will scout around some more for as much info as possible and report back if I find anything. However, I firmly believe that the 'e' in this equation most certainly represents an electron charge of +4.32. Just for the record, as I'm assuming ns isn't nanoseconds, I'm taking 'n' for it's general mathmatical meaning of 'any number', and looking at 's' being something to do with electron structure and atomic orbitals... Complicated stuff, but hopefully my chemistry knowledge will aid me in my quest for knowledge... Until next time my friends, -Jolteon

I like the idea of a PS3 Skype group. Perhaps this could become a forum wide thing? That way it will be much easier to find games and we all have a quick fire way of communicating with each other. I really like the potential behind these ideas guys Feel free to add myself to the Skype group. Skype name is darkjolteon23 -Jolteon

The Chronicles of Maxis: Samantha's Fury *CHAPTER TWO NOW UP
Jolteon replied to Jolteon's topic in Zombie Stories
As many as it takes Chapter 3 will be... Ah... Different. It will be probably much shorter too. Then after that there are 4 major scenes to be included, two written by Flareon, and the rest will probably be summed up in the chapters of the four main scenes. There MAY be a couple of other things. So at LEAST 5 more chapters. Possibly much more though I hope to have Chapter 3 finneshed VERY soon. Make sure to keep poking me on Skype to write it -Jolteon
