New guns. Out of old guns they could bring classics like MP40 and STG-44

I tought trigger happy gave you the ammo back to the clip if you just hit a target, but if you missed you lost the bullet.

What special weapon features you know? The Wild Widow is always 1 shot, the M27-IAR has a push back and throwing knife is also always 1 hit kill, anything else?

Not exactly "new" engine for the future of this franchise.
Matuzz replied to Matuzz's topic in Research & Development
I know that High Moond studios is looking for people who know how to develop on Radiant and they are presumably making the last gen version of the Call of Duty 2014: This is the image that Slege Hammer revealed: The textures and lightning is same old same old. I will personally be skipping the next Call of Duty game. -
So as we know the current engine Call of Duty franchise has been hauling is based on idTech 3 game engine that first saw action in 1999 (14 years ago) on Quake 3. We are now entering a new generation of console hardware and PC hardware is even a lot more powerful than the consoles. The engine is limited and is a bottleneck to what can be done graphically and physically within the engine on the future Call of Duty games. Now Call of Duty has also entered a three year development cycle from the hectic two year cycle it was before. Giving the developers more time to make their games. Treyarch is by far the largest studio out of the Call of Duty developers and it would only be logical for them to take the task of creating their own brand new engine for Call of Duty. And it seems to be that it is not exactly happening. They are in a progress of hopefully rewriting almost entirely the engine to bring Call of Duty truly into the next generation. What I base my suspicion is this job application of Treyarch: As you can see one of the main requirments is to improve existing graphics/engine technology and tools. But also implement new tools and tehcnologies to it. It seems the engine will get the biggest update on its history but is it enough if they do not almost completely rewrite the source of the engine? We have seen the new image from Sledge Hammer games from their first Call of Duty game and it at least confirms that this years Call of Duty is not going to run on a new engine.

We camped on top of the truck next to a wall near the guard tower. It's a good place to hold out but its absolutely must to deal with the shield guys so that they don't have time to climb on top of the truck. EIDT: Correction it was round 63 not 68.

Greatest Idea Ever: Mic lobbies
Matuzz replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in General Zombies Discussion
No, even if some one has headset with mic doesn't mean he will use the mic. Also this just splits the matchmaking EVEN more. Not a good idea imo. -
It was Prison Break.
-
My highest round so far was 68 with 1 friend and 2 pubs who left after a while so it was just 2 of us in the end.

Treyarch has themselves said that they will not make zombies standalone game as they want both Singleplayer and competitive multiplayer in their games.

What could next-gen Zombies actually offer?
Matuzz replied to lead_psychopath's topic in Research & Development
Nothing if they don't change the engine. -
For me Point of Contact has gotten very boring... I would be bored if I was playing that map all the time. I spend 2-3 hours on extinction everyday doing teeth hunting with randoms and it is quite challenging. At first I was medic and now I switched to Weapons specialist and I feel the adrenaline rush to say the least. Armory is an outstanding new feature and it is only getting better with chaos mode. You gotta give it up to IW for making so many updates to an bonus game mode. That being I absolutely hate the multiplayer maps from dlc. I frigging hate them so much that I leave the game as soon I get randomly joined to one of those dlc maps. They are total shit from what I played. For me Point of Contact has gotten very boring... Yeah, I have no DLC but I might be getting the Season Pass from Activision. Will be checking the other maps then.

I think it was the best way to put an end to the mess that the storyline became to be honest. You mention the past and future coming together earlier in your comment... this is why the storyline ran away with itself and is full of contradictions and mistakes, as well as abandoned ideas. We can speculate all day over it, but at the end of the day the storyline is a mess and was put together without any real consideration. The ending makes perfect sense seeing as we were running around a work full of magical perks, power-up drops that give up POINTS!?, insta-kills, Nukes, etc. Even the characters often broke the 4th wall in-game, referring to "the player" many times. Everything points to it being a game. The only way it will change is if Treyarch cave in and change it to suit the community again just like they did through out BO2, and if that is the case then expect the next zombie outing to feature the O4 again in all the maps (except maybe 1 celeb special), and it to have another poor storyline. People need to let go of this storyline and let them try something else. Either way, we will not know for sure for another 18 months. This 100000x The storyline is loved by hundreds and thousands of people and I know of many people who I talk to and people on YouTube who believe this was a cheap way out. Zombies is centred around the point systems and magical perks, it's what makes zombies unique taking it away destroys what zombies is. Finally it you acually pay attention to the storyline it does make sense, it's the way people talk about it that makes it sound complicated. I am almost sure that majority of people will want zombies to stay the way it is and not sway away from the point sytem and perk a cola bottles. Perks and points can stay but I want new story (as someone who has followed the story since World at War).

Campaing: Boring campaing and even more boring gameplay missions. Pretty maps don't make up for the campaing where you have abssolutely no choise or don't have to think anything for that matter. You are told what to do and when to do as you advance for the next slow-mo breach scene. Multiplayer: While it had some potential and seems for most of it pretty well balanced it has very bad spawns that often ruin the flow of the match and also quite a few bugs. Maps are not that well designed and the whole experience gets quite boring quickly. Sound desing is a step forward from previous instalments and I like that. Safeguard is a great mode to play with friends and is definetly a big plus side on the multiplayer side. Extinction: Fun for a while with friends but in the end lacks replay value. More enemy types and ways to have more advanced strategies would have been good for this mode. In rating of 4-10 I would give this game 6,8. And that is score for the PS4, the PC version of the game is 4.5.

Is the PS4 going to be the new lead platform for CoD?
Matuzz replied to Lenne's topic in Research & Development
Microsoft just revealed their numbers. 5 million consoles sold to retailers but no figure on how many have actually been sold to consumers like Sony revealed. -
Honestly I want them to fix the game but instead they have made 27 micro dlc packs and on top of that the regular map packs. All this when I'm still after months having this glitch: http://community.callofduty.com/message/415053140 and I'm not alone with that one. The PC version is horribly optimized and people are lagging with some serious gaming rigs. The PC version is also filled with hackers. The spawn are honestly horrible, I keep always spawning next to an enemy on Ground War.

Is the PS4 going to be the new lead platform for CoD?
Matuzz replied to Lenne's topic in Research & Development
That is impressive stuff. Xbox still hasn't reported their numbers, but I'll assume it's probably around 5 million. My one issue with numbers at this point is this. PS4 has released worldwide, if not to a large majority of their supported areas from PS3. Xbox still has only released to 13 territories, with a ton more to come. PS4 should be outselling Xbox. They haven't even opened sales to a large group of people. It is estimated that One has sold 3 million units. On Europe last week the PS4 was selling 7:1 ratio compared to Xbox. It is true that the Xbox is still not released in many countires but it raisses question how many will wait so long to get Xbox. Also PS4 isn't keeping up with the demand and they have estimated to have some real stock not until late summer. -

Matuzz replied to Lenne's topic in Research & Development
"In comparison, the PS4 arch rival, the Xbox One, is believed to have sold just 3 million units since its launch though that’s unconfirmed data at the moment. In PAL markets, Europe especially, the PS4 outsold the One at a ratio of 7:1 last week. By analytics’ estimations PS4 sales in PAL regions for the week were around 180,000 units, while the Xbox One managed to sell just 25,000 units in the same markets." http://blog.gsmarena.com/playstation-4-hits-7-million-global-sales-outsells-the-xbox-one-by-71-in-europe/ -

Sony has now sold 7 million PlayStation 4 consoles. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-17-playstation-4-has-sold-7-million-units-worldwide -
The Blunt Force aka Weed 420 camo is locked content! Let that sink to you. They are already shipping games with content locked on disk and then selling that later as mdlc. When our Community Manager was asked if its true she said No..... Now we have also a CM who f####ng lies straight to people.... Next time you buy your ducky camo or other mdlc think about what you support and what kind of message you give to the gaming market in general.

No. I want new content. I have played the old maps enough. Making a remake would be both waste of time and resources!

Yeah for motion Picture and So on it's not that important and the extra work that would go in it is not really justified but for games where players interact with the picture and are much more focused there is a significant difference.
