We could hone the system of the hardcore mode and how it would be different from the softcore and then post thread together to the Future Zombies section if you would like?

Medals - What are they and how do they work? [UPDATE]

Valve time, when "soon" means 9 years. -
But I'm sure majority of people don't have 10h to play zombies not even 4h or so. If lets say zombies would get significantly harder after 2h so the games wouldn't last often more than that, you still have time to make friends in that time. Nothing prevents to start again with that guy if both have 10h time to play zombies. But people have jobs and studying to do and usually with good team at the current state of the zombies matches they will just stretch too long. And it just feels like you are giving up because you or the other guy doesn't have enough time or gets bored. There should be some kind of solution to make both types of players happy. For example Hardcore mode which is much harder thus making the games quicker and then the normal mode how it is now. And have separate leaderboards for both.

About NML I'll see if the map packs are in sale some day in Steam and I would buy them But I'm more Co-Op guy and I'm not so much into playing the maps in solo. In Co-Op you really can't rush the rounds trough that much. My highest round in 32 on Kino Co-Op and almost every time the matches end because people need to go because they don't have time to play for hours including me. And the gameplay indeed comes tiring and boring. And so did ended my highest round in Kino. I just feel generally the Co-Op matches just stretch so long that people ran out of time or get bored. Tweaking the matches to take roughly 1-1.5 hours and like after 1.5 hours its getting very very hard would be nice. Keep rounds 1-7 the same. Rounds 8-15, zombies would get much more health. Rounds 16-20, again zombies get each round more health but they come also faster. Rounds 21->, again more speed and health each round. Zombies start spawn in every room. Running and making trains comes harder when you need to evade the hits of the zombies who spawn in front of your route.

I doubt Richtofen would have randomly teleported on Moon and starting to make space station. Because he would have obviously died. We know Group 935 had an astronomical team and they had found 115 on the Moon and were mining it by the looks of Griffin Station. So Group 935 astronomical team built it at some point on the Moon, Richtofen might have been part of this team and decided to build the station around this pyramid not only because he wanted to study it but because the area around it was filled with 115. That is my take on it.

I think zombies are too easy, this results in the matches becoming way too long. Do you think zombies should be more harder? Making the matches itself shorter but making it more rewarding. Why getting awesome score needs to be round 100 and take hours when it could be round 30? Great example is NML, even though I haven't played it the matches are short but very rewarding. Of course I'm not suggesting making zombies as hard and short as NML. But the level of difficulty should increase much more between rounds and not be only the amount of zombies spawning overall. Who is with me on this one?

MY GOD ITS MAGNIFICENT!!!!! EDIT: Bug #1 avatar blocking txt  -
Not 100% to be fake as these posters came to press it doesn't say its going to be trailer. I have no idea what this poster means but it seems a lot more legit than the last leak, the last leak was a mess of horrible photoshopping. I'm pretty sure this is hands on press event date like in the past. Usually trailer has been before it. Black Ops trailer was release on 28th of April and MW3's on May 13th. So trailer will come soon regardless if these things are fake or not

Or that is the day when Activision and Treayrch give more info about the game to the press and they can then publish that information on that day or on a given day.

Nice find [brains]

On the Activision one, but not on the Treyarch one. Would one cover both? Also the the date looks like 4.28.1 2. (with a big gap between the 1 & 2) 10 days and we know if its true or not.

Decided to make this map idea that is based on Paris and darkjolteon's idea on the catacombs. The map locates in Paris and its underground catacombs. Starting area: You start under Eiffel tower, there is a mainframe pad under it. Its similar to NML. You kill the zombies and there is no rounds. The Eiffel tower is fitted with speakers and you can hear them playing commands in German to the zombies. Under the Eiffel tower there is also Pack-a-Punch machine. Not far away is a switch, it cost 1000 points and launches V2 rocket. The rockets blows up a hole in the ground giving you access to the catacombs. Similar to the missile in Battlefield 3 metro map which blows hole in the ground. When you jump into the hole its deep enough that you can't jump back. When you jump to the catacomb nuke goes off killing the zombies in the starting area and normal round system starts. Catacombs: From the whole there is this quite short tunnel to the first room. The zombies jump from above to the hole so its better to hurry to the room if you don't hope getting stuck between the room and the hole. The first room has juggernaut. The first room is square shaped and has 4 skull pillars making you able to do some trains. There is the basic two weapons in the wall and zombies come trough the walls like in NDU help room. And of course zombies flood in from the tunnel as well. From that room you have option to explode a dynamite and make a whole to the room to get into next area. There is two passage options to explode but you have only one dynamite so choose carefully. Rest of the map: Both passage ways are different in their own and have different perks and guns. So deciding the route suiting your needs is important. Only Quick revive is in both passages. You go from room to room buying weapons and the specific perks that are on your way until you come to the final room. This map has very tight room and tunnels so getting yourself stuck between zombies is easy if you don't keep moving. But there is also bigger rooms with more room to move around. Electric fences are your friends and there are many of them in this map as well as turrets in the bigger rooms. Final room: Both ways lead to the final room which has mystery box, the box then spawns randomly to different rooms. To find the box you hear screaming close to the room which has the box. There is also mainframe there from where you can teleport back to the Eiffel tower and PaP your weapons. You can hang under the Eiffel tower or jump back to the hole. So the time in the Eiffel tower is not limited. Easter eggs: The map is filled with text and arrows pointing to hell or Agartha and so on. Much devil and Satan stuff can be found There is also radios from 935 workers that went to continue the projects in the catacombs after group 935 broke. And of course a big Easter egg is in the map also. Diversity: Some rooms could be filled nova gas you can't be too long in them. Also generally the map is very dark, some tunnels and rooms are lighted but in the darker rooms its cool to only see those glowing yellow eyes coming after you. So there is some of my ideas with more ideas this could be pretty cool map.

Yeah and the other image was website's background they don't put copyright on those so I'm not sure what picture owner means. :?

[quote name=">]Just a question... How do you get images off of the game files? You mean actual image files like textures and such? Well on PC you need to convert them using program that supports the game files.

April. Soon we find out. Again, it was leaked. The Treyarch or Activision logo isn't even copyrighted or trademarked on it. It is badly photoshopped. You mean this image?

The trailer info was leaked in callofduty.com as well as that picture. And SP is still speculation. As there is clearly speculation based on info from Black Ops and questions:

So you want Samantha to wear a dress in Richtofen's body? That would be more creepier than Richtofen's uniform. And to OP I'm 98.5% sure Samantha will be playable character in BO2 and whe will be in Richtofen's body. It would be cool now when the body has young spirit to become younger. So Richtofen would look like in his 20's
