I guess I missed a lot in the time I haven't been here... Anyways, I'm sure this kind of thing was somewhere in the original thread somewhere, but I'll just do this just in case. Alright, so just to add on a bit about the relation of the geomantic figures, their quite a few of their names could correspond with a few Shangri-La concepts, as well as some of the original storyline from BO/W@W. Wikipedia, of course Starting with the first, Via, or "The Way." It reminds me of a concept from I believe Hinduism (correct me if I'm wrong) regarding the spiritual path necessary to prosper and achieve a wonderful state when you are reincarnated. Sounds like something that would be practiced in those parts, no? Cauda Draconis, or "The Tail of the Dragon." Self explanatory relation in name to Shangri-La, but I'd like to go further. It's considered a worse fortune at most times, and thus is best only when ending something. This could represent Moon as well, if Treyarch were ever planning on ending the story there. Anyways, going onward, we see that this symbol is associated with the left arm usually. Just an interesting little connection, but what arm was on the power switches on Verruckt and Der Reise? And then there's Caput Draconis, or "The Head of the Dragon." Once again, it fits the theme of Shangri-La quite well. It relates to the right arm, and is considered to be "better" than Cauda Draconis. Ironically, the typical association of Cauda Draconis is with inward expansion of consciousness, while the association of Caput Draconis is the outward expansion into illusion. Cauda Draconis could plausibly relate to Richtofen's internal expansion of consciousness in Moon, while Caput could relate to the others' expansion into the illusion of being able to stop Richtofen. I have nothing to say about Puer, or "The Boy," so let's move past that. Onto Fortuna Minor, or "The Lesser Fortune." While we're at it, let's also hit upon Fortuna Major (The Greater Fortune). Major is commonly associated with internal victories, while Minor is associated with external victories. Now, these are meant to be opposites, but in what way is external victory bad? Well, in typical Arabic Tarot culture, there are 4 conditions. Good, Good-Neutral, Bad-Neutral, and Bad. In this case, Fortuna Major is considered to be Good, while Minor is considered Good-Neutral. I believe Fortuna Major really represents Richtofen quite well, seeing as most of the time he was battling with himself, while Minor represents the rest of the crew. Anyways, really nice first major post Rissole. If anyone would like to look into anything, here are some of the sites I got my info from. This, this, and this.

Committing thread necromancy here, but what happened with this? We never found anything? That's kind of depressing. It's been a long time since this search started, but have we given up the search since the info has been released for Black Ops 2? I'm not pushing that a patch did anything, nor am I saying we missed anything (we are CoDZ, my friends. We don't miss things.) but is this case closed? I was just wondering if the search has been disbanded.

This is so funny. Bringing flowers would be a good idea in order to soothe your ex-wives. Therefore I would use flowers voucher codes to get cheap flowers. Damn, that's a strategic Spambot.

What Brings Death Cures Death, Richtofen's Cancer Experiment
liltaz23 replied to liltaz23's topic in Shangri-La
No, well, kind of. I don't know. I don't exactly know if 115 radiation causes any adverse effects, like cancer or superhuman strength (comic book style), but my thoughts are that after teleporting, Richtofen was in Shangri-La without any hope of escape, and being attacked by the residents, decided to make a deal with them. He claimed that if they granted him life and 115, he could grant them eternal life. Being that eternal life is a large prize, they gave him a chance. He tested the same things he worked on at Griffin Station, and later, Der Riese, on the fearful residents, causing much of what Richtofen believed to be casualties. He was wrong, but continued testing, being driven crazy by 115 and not only attempting to create immortality, but also attempting to build a working teleporter model, which caused a lot of radiation to enter the residents of Shangri-La. The radiation was so great it caused cancer, which eventually caused many tumors, many in the brain, which connected to numerous tumors throughout the system. Therefore, whenever struck by enough bullets to destroy one tumor in the system, the whole body shut down. Unfortunately the tumors also caused them to lose control of their non-human instincts, and creating immortal zombified beasts. Meanwhile, the radiation caused schitzofrenia, and after bringing immortality, he created a working teleporter, and returned to Griffin Station. He feared his colleagues would turn on him. He sent Schuster through the M.P.D to meet his doom by the redidents, his slaves who worshipped him, and even built him and altar. Thats all I got... -
So we all know that Richtofen was in Shangri-La. And we all know that the residents of Shangri-La live forever. What if these are linked by more evidence than just that? I think I can. Today in my biology class, we discussed Cancer cells, such that they are invincible cells, and that we are currently experimenting on them for beauty products. I believe Richtofen decided to take things much further than that. I believe he used cancer for immortality. To support this theory, I reference what a common cancer treatment is: radiation. Richtofen found the perfect amount of radiation to use cancer for immortality in 115. Of course, he required a multitude of test subjects. You may recognize the failed tests as the bald, tumor covered, monk-looking zombies. They weren't entirely failures, but they weren't successful. None of them were entirely successful. Just about all of the zombies on Shangri-La have weird, tumor-looking lumps on them. IMO, thats exactly what they are. Cancerous tumors. Richtofen's solution to death; cancer.

New info 4 8 15 16 23 42 ~~~~NOT LOST~~~~
liltaz23 replied to NekroZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
when I googled it, I found a cracked.com link that was about some creepy unsolved cases. There was apparently a secret code in the back of a book that I think might be a smart idea to decode it in the BO terminal. Knowing 3arc, they'd do something like that. -
I'm just trying to spark a discussion here, but I found something interesting when screwing around with the letters of "The Scavenger" and I got two words- Sacht and Revenge. The first is a German word meaning gentle. Therefore, all I can see is Sam wishing gentle revenge on Richtofen, which probably means killing him quickly and painlessly, or maybe even by giving him a fighting chance. Edit: The Fractilizer came out as trial, fire, and zecht (a german word meaning drunken merriment) I don't really have a theory about this one yet.

Wow Faust. Impressive. I found myself asking where the story could go from the destroyed Earth, and you answered my question ten-fold. You've still got it, you foxy foxy Faust, you.

thanks. To everyone. I plan to return to CoDz if I can, because we are, after all, the best community out there. This is Liltaz signing off. At least for now.

Hey guys, liltaz here. I figured that since I never made a formal introduction, I'd combine it with my goodbye message. I'm a 14 year old boy with a long list of problems, that I won't get into much right now. I've been depressed for 8 years, and was about to commit suicide, until about a year ago, when I found CoDz. It was like paradise. Easter Egg hunters, Theories, Conspiracies; everything I could imagine to stimulate my mind. Plus it was a creative outlet, where no one judged you for being wrong, and usually helped you improve yourself. I have been addicted to zombies for about 3 years now, and have put up with so many randoms, that it lost its humor. Especially the randoms that make Tourette's Syndrome jokes (I have Tourettes, yes). I've been trying to organize an event that allowed people to play video games for a charity that supported the TSA:USA, to no avail, however. But anyways, I was sent to a doctor recently that believes that I have a form of Rheumatoid Arthritis, to add to the list of my pre-existing medical conditions. So I'm being forced into gaming retirement for a while. I just wanted to say thank you. To everyone on CoDz, for what you've all done. You saved my life and I'm forever grateful to you all. Sincerely, Denver A.K.A LilTaz23

I was looking through some more of the audio files, and found a file named rare_response_maxis_00, which, when played was Richtofen laughing, and had nothing to do with Maxis at all, probably related to his attempted murder of Ludvig and Samantha. My computer also plays the Dempsey lines for Richtofen's Mythos Giant file, so I could use some help with his. Thanks. Yours Truly, DownbeatAura

... So where is it programmed into ascension or shi no numa to only occur between rounds 1 and 5 without a trigger. Its not rare dialogue, its dialogue programmed as an easter egg.
-
Thats the thing. Its not normal dialogue. It's literally coded to be random, so it isn't normal dialogue. It's hidden dialogue that helps add to the storyline.

*takes deep breath* 1 We have known this for a while. Why did it need re-posted? 2 If you ask for brains, you have a low chance of recieving them. -
Lol, I lost the best game of my life earlier because an Astronaut stole my quick revive and teleported me by the invisible tunnel 6 excavator.
-
Yeah, I'm on Teh Boxeh. My Gamertag is also in my sig. I'll play 9 times out of 10 if I'm on.
-
Wait..... Did you say HER? I'm a guy, good sir...
-
I'm in. Truthfully, I'm just looking for leads at this point, and the quotes could be an excellent lead.

We have all played Der Riese. If you're like me, you've played it a good 3 million times. But what you probably haven't heard very much is the Mythos Giant Easter Egg. WHAT IS THE "MYTHOS GIANT?" Have you ever heard of Cthulu? In most literature about him, he is referred to as the Mythos Giant, or the "Giant of Myth," as a reference to common English. It's known that the Illuminati was involved with 935, so it is quite possible that they were trying to bring Cthulu across dimensions to help them rule by force. WHAT IS IT? A very good question my friends. Its a bit of coding from Der Riese, that occurs on both W@W and BO, which pretty much states that rarely, a very very important character quote will play between rounds 1-5. For some reason, the coding calls it Mythos Giant, while the dialogue says nothing about Cthulu or the Mythos Giant. HOW DO YOU TRIGGER IT? You don't. The best way to get it to happen is to pretty much be a dedicated player. SIGNIFICANT? Yes. Very. Every single Mythos Giant quote has a large reference to the storyline, such as Dempsey stating his confusion about the Wunderwaffe and the Die Glocke Experiments. GLITCHES WITH IT? -When playing solo on Black Ops, it's possible for one of Dempsey's quotes to play regardless of what character you are. -This could also contribute to the odd Mystery Box skins that occur randomly on W@W. QUOTES BY CHARACTERS: Dempsey: "Maybe this is where they built that WunderWaffle Thingy" "Element 115, WunderWaffles, Die Glocke, Ah, F*** it lets just kill some freakbags." "I think Richtofen knows more about whats going on than he seems." "I wonder who that Dr. Maxis is that I keep hearing about." Nikolai "What the hell are you doing here you creepy f***s?" "You see Richtofen, you're losing the war because you invest in this nonsense instead of gunpowder and vodka. That is why we beat you." "Hey. I think this is where that WunderWaffe thing comes from." "I think the Germans have a master plan. This is f***ing crazy." Takeo "This place holds secrets" "Where evil begins, evil continues." "There are answers here." "The way of darkness, always brings great price." "Shadow begins, darkness follows." Richtofen COMING SOON... SPECIAL THANKS TO: CJDog23, For ripping the files and putting them on Youtube. Anti Earth, for indirectly pointing me in the direction of studying and experimenting with this. CarbonFibah, for creating the best site on the web. EDIT- Added in Quotes EDIT 2- Adding some history and details.

Richtofen must be getting suspicious of Takeo
liltaz23 replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Ascension
I remember when this post was on topic... -
thats exactly what I was thinking. its richtofen's picture as the cosmonaut, when sam takes over his body. so its richtofen.
-
that would make no sense. . . A good bit of the easter eggs and the storyline don't make much sense, so we have to try to make sense of it.
-
i realize it was a metaphor. I just figured I would respond with one too. And two, you just said my proof. The picture is of Sam, but in Richtofens body. So it can technically be both. Theres no 100% proof, but this is what the evidence points to at this point.
-
... Dragging it out? One, this is nothing like Ascension. I'm not making ridiculous things up, I'm using newly found evidence to support and add on to a past theory. Two, the picture's shape is nothing like the shape of Sam, and, although it is her, it is also Richtofen, so its not just Sam. I'm not writing new books as you put it, just merely adding on to its contents. So yeah. My apologies for attempting to support old theories with new knowledge. I was unaware that the book of CoDZ is the abridged version.
