i think takeo used to like richtofen. i.e- during ww2 japanes and germans were allies and the fact that richtofen had a base camp at Shi No Numa, which is in Japan. But ever since the other 3 character have slowly been learing richtofens past and his true perona. They really dislike him

In my opinion five is part of the story line. First, in the PAP room there is a picture of richtofen. This can most likely be explained due to the fact that at the end of WW2 both the americans and the russians were capturing nazi scientists to harness their knowledge. Ed was probably captured by the US and his knowledge of element 115 and zombies made him valuable to the US. Richtofen is obviously part of the story line. Next the illuminati symbol(the all seeing eye, pyramid, etc...) was not just used by the illuminati, the freemasons used it to along with other secret societies, even the US as seen on the 1 dollar bill. It is well known that our founding fathers(US), presidents, and govt officials were/are freemasons. This is the reason there is the pyramid on the 1 dollar bill and the ironic shapes and designs (pentagrams, monuments that look like temples, etc...) in Washington DC (designed by a suspected mason hired by washington; a known free mason) This same symbol appears on the zombies map ascension, the same symbol appearing on both maps kinda seems like a link to me. And seeing how richtofen is in the illuminati too. Also, every character on five is either suspected or confirmed a mason and/or in the illuminati. Another link. And the red telephones that are on ascension that play the dialogue from five. Hmmmh seems like another link. also when you use the teleporter on kino, sometimes you randomly appear in the pentagon, yet a again a link. And since this is nazi ZOMBIES and there happens to be ZOMBIES in the Pentagon, i think that links it with the story too. SO obviously Five has something to do with the storyline.

just a thought, Since we have no idea what Dr. Maxis looks like and being that he played a big role in the creation of zombies, teleporters, wonder weapons, etc.. However we also dont know exactly what happened to him after his incident with richtofen at Der Riese. All we suspect is that he survived due to him having a desk at Kino Der Toten. This becomes a compounded issue becasue treyarc introduced time travel to us. My point: Since richtofen and maxis know so much about basically everything doing with zombies they would of been valuable to the americans, i.e. why richtofen has a portrait at the pentagon. And of at course kino. Dr. Maxis was at some point at kino, but with richtofen being around i dont think maxis would risk his life by letting richtofen know he was alive. As we presume that richtofen was sent to kill maxis by the illuminati, and i also think he didnt like him anyways. This could however be an explanation to why there is a blacked out portrait, to conceal the identity of Maxis, so richtofen doesnt try to kill him again. Just my opinion, but whoever the blacked out portraitis of is, A- important to the storyline and B- wants his identity to be hidden. maybe Peter lol

dont forget the images of the eifel tower from der riese. pretty much all the info treyarch gives us in the maps just leads to more questions, lol. it can be very confusing. and there were hints to ascension, such as the ascension scientist group in the campaign along with some books with edward richtofen DG2 DG3 on them. these were on the campaign mission executive order i think. and beware of the six, and there were 6 ascension scientists. all of those were given to us by treyarch as hints to ascension. so somewhere im sure is a hint to the next map. we'll prob realize what it is when the next one comes out, until then we will have many ideas...

lets all agree that theres a possiblility you could be wrong. all of this is speculation. the only reason i believe this is not the next step is that theres no audio file or new thing added to the map as a direction for the next step. but there is a chance you are right, we cant rule out anything until we try it for ourselves and investigate. and im pretty sure any player could be downed to end the glitch/your idea of the next step. and that playthegameco video you speak of with the zombie files is fake

People have already stated that they have seen other mechanisms outside of the map. you can also see bits and pieces of rockets around the cosmodrone from failed launches. i suspect that the russians wanted to send a rocket to the moon. the rockets were most likely equipped with a casimir mechanism and a black hole device developed by gersh. this would explain why there are other mechanisms around the map. i speculate that their goal was to transport element 115 from the moon to earth.

lets just agree that no one knows what the next zombie map will. its all just speculation at this point

yeah but in inception the dream can only last for so long. and anyways the dream theory, if proven true would be such a buzzkill, learning that all that intense zombie killing was only a dream. i would be pissed

he's not starting a console war. he's pointing out the fact that that since you play PS3 you dont have the map pack yet. and im betting that the phones/special motroshyka dolls have something to do with an easter egg cause they seem pretty random to not to do something special, but who knows lol

i honestly dont care where the next map is as long as it is fun and ties together more of the storyline. and has easter eggs that actually do something worthwhile *cough mechanism node easter egg cough* and i think it would be cool to finally be able to confront Sam or Dr. Maxis

all the characters have some way of making fun of each other. hinting to them having to team up to fight the endless hoard, regardless of their previous conflicts.

my own opinion is that the 3 are not in a dream. i do however believe richtofen is experimenting on them, or studying them. how can they all be dreaming the same thing at the same time, how can they be in a dream that lasts so long (ie- SNN to present), and seems a little far fetchd considering richtofen cant even control zombies let alone peoples dreams lol

yeah mine went from 27 to 13. it really can mess up the leaderboards for the top people. i mean your not gonna make it to round 50 every time you play

well according to carbon: there are some people in treyarch in this forum. and anyways i titled this topic as a hint to the fact that i want treyarch to fix it. so please calm down lol

Why do the leaderboards reset after each game of zombies you play? It should be fixed,it really is irritating when you get far in zombies and then when you play another game and dont get as far you lose your rank on the leaderboards and have no "proof" of making it to your best level

that symbol is called the "all seeing eye". its also found on the back of US dollar bills lol
