Definently a nice idea, but that ship you're referring to is out in the middle of the Arctic Circle, if i'm not mistaken. There's actually going to be a German Research Facility MP Map in the First Strike DLC based on said single player map.

Possible reason the DG-2 isnt featured in Kino or Five?
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to EtErNiiTY's topic in Kino Der Toten
Very interesting theory, but it's highly likely that the DG-2 was lost in the time travel from Der Riese to Kino. Richtofen's transmission at the beginning when you play on solo, refers to the "MGT being capable of time travel". Likely because the DG-2's huge source of 115 power overloaded the MGT. But still, interesting theory. -
Interesting Theory, but....aren't all 4 of our heroes regaining their memory, slowly? Dempsy remembers being a Marine. Nikolai remembers all his wives. Takeo remembers...well...Japanese things. Richtofen obviously knows what's going on. Plus, Richtofen has called the other 3 his "unconventional Allies" who are "of great use to him". Plus he's trying to uncover the secrets of Group 935 if i'm not mistaken.

the EAR is the initials for Edward Alphonse Richtofen.

another connection between campaign and zombies
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to luinipuini's topic in Kino Der Toten
However Hellsing, Richtofen has called the crawlers "The Failed Experiments Maxis Mentioned". So yes, the crawlers have the same effects as the Nova gas but there's little other explanation or solid proof that the zombies mode is tied to the campaign. -
At the same time, thinking about some sort of big boss theory, zombieriese is right, "The Giant" was in fact a project name. In fact, I even think the factory's name was "Waffenfabrik (sp? I'm no good at German >_>) Der Riese", or Weapon Factory The Giant (Rough translation, like i said i'm no good with German). AND, in one of the Der Riese radios, Maxis himself even calls it "The Giant Project". It's the radio under the Quick Revive room, where Maxis is talking to Sophia about the Reich cutting his funding for "The Giant Project".

another connection between campaign and zombies
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to luinipuini's topic in Kino Der Toten
That is the same lab, i think you're right, but i'm not sure about any possible connection to the zombies mode and the campaign based on this. >_> -
I've heard him say that, it's simply a reference to Godzilla, seeing as Takeo is Japanese. I highly doubt the Cosmic Silverback is the reason for the Kino Roof shaking. However, there is a possibility of something shaking that roof. Although, if all the Gassers amassed on the roof, seeing as there's so many of them, would be able to cause one hell of a ruckus up there.

"Maybe they stole this from Japan......"
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to play2often's topic in Kino Der Toten
Group 935 didn't get involved with SNN until a short while after the meteor hit. With something of such significance landing in their home town, however, it would appear obvious that the Japs didn't wanna give it up. So Group 935 practically forced their grasp onto SNN, they didn't own it beforehand. That theory makes sense because...well..why else would there be so many Japanese Zombies at SNN? Plus it makes the taking of the meteors actually make sense. What probably happened was when they discovered the meteor at SNN, they took certain pieces of it to try do more research on the meteor to other working facilities that Group 935 had at the time, or to possibly find new ways to extract Element 115 from it. -
New - Kino Der Toten, most finds so far. [Non-Official]
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to Graffiti Skys's topic in Kino Der Toten
Posting a new find, I got to play as Richtofen again last night. When he turned on the power switch on to the whole theatre, I heard him say "These must have been the failed experiments Maxis mentioned". So it appears that the Gas Zombies aren't just random new zombies, but a result of the experiments Maxis conducted at Der Riese. -

Edward was Maxis's assistant. Why else would Richtofen know so much about Maxis's plans? -

I just wanted to say... You know in Der Riese, you find the gold name tag near teleport B, I think.. The one that has the Bowie Knife sitting out before you get to the teleporter. To the right of that teleporter, and just before you go down stairs, look the other way down into what seems like a escape route, if you have good eyes or a sniper, you can see Ludwig Maxis's gold name tag.. Well yes, that's true, but it made sense for Der Riese cause that's where Maxis worked. That's where all the experiments were conducted, etc. The question in my mind after I saw that name tag was "what was maxi's involvement with this movie theater?" -
My theory on the Pentagon Thief being Dr. Maxis
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to BTrabucco's topic in Five
Well it isn't unheard of. in fact one of the dreamland server users is a nazi scientist who joined the allies. it all comes down to is he clever? yes would he be an asset? yes will the enemy miss him? yes in that situation.... you'll have him if the offer is there. ( i realised i said him, however i am not implying all nazi scientist were male) The only problem would be then, why would Maxis be working at the Pentagon? Maxis was the head of such a major nazi research group bent on ENDING the war with America, and to my knowlege, a pro-german scientist. Plus, in my mentioned post, Maxis was the victim of attempted murder at the hands of Richtofen, so we honestly don't even know if Maxis is alive for sure to be able to even get that kind of offer to work for The Pentagon. -
lol there are quite afew teddys. My guess is, however, that the Teddy is Samantha's way of communicating with the world inhabited by Tank, Takeo, Edward and Nikolai. Seeing as Samantha was a 6-10 year old girl, she'd obviously love teddy bears, and the fact that they're all blood soaked is the symbol of Samantha being (supposedly) murdered. Makes sense though.

Hm. I'll have to go back and look, though I have yet to see the data on the 3rd server (there's VBush, ROppen and one more server). It would seem weird to me though that an American agent during those particular times would freely ally himself with a German doctor, then have someone send Peter a distress message of some sort. Like I said though, you're probably right. While Five may not be directly related to the story, it could have certain elements in it that may be linked to the story. I guess we'll just have to wait and see where the DLC takes us. 8-)
-
Now this all seems likely, but I have to ask about something. Something non-texture related. lol Alot of people have a theory about the Pentagon Thief being Dr. Maxis, but I had my own theory about the Thief possibly being the "American Operative" that Maxis was referring to in one of the Radio Transmissions in Der Riese. While Five may not have any direct relation to the Story involving Ed, Tank, Tak and Nik, doesn't it seem a little too coincidental that the Thief may actually be related to the story? I ask because the thought of why would a human scientist, albeit altered by something, be protecting/involved with the Zombies, has been bugging me for a bit. Though, I gotta admit you're probably right about Five not being completely related to main story. [brains]

My theory on the Pentagon Thief being Dr. Maxis
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to BTrabucco's topic in Five
Interesting Theories on the Theif being Maxis! However I have my doubts that it's Maxis. Primarily, why would a Nazi Doctor be working at the Pentagon? Plus, the random number trail he leaves is all too prominent in the single player campaign as well, don't think there was a single level I played where i didn't eventually see those random red numbers. However, I'm not doubting that it's Maxis either. While we know from the Der Riese story that Edward intended to murder Samantha and Maxis, I did a little research into this topic by exploring the Dreamland servers from that main menu terminal. One of the Servant files I read stated that the deaths of Maxis and Samantha "cannot be confirmed". Just to clarify, this was from R. Oppen's data, Giant7.txt Chances are a bit...unlikely however in my mind that the thief is Maxis, but maybe the thief is tied to him somehow? Here's why I say that. Think back to the Der Riese radio transmitions again. There was a radio where Maxis was telling his secretary Sophia to send a letter to the Reichstag High Command. Somewhere in the transmition, he mentions "our American Operative" in terms of finding more Element 115 sources. So, MY theory is that while the Pentagon Thief may not be Maxis, maybe the Thief is the "American Operative" Group 935 had planted in the USA. It makes sense cause the only other people that would know ANYTHING about the happenings anywhere NEAR Area 51 would be certain people working at The Pentagon. This theory seems THE most likely in my mind, I just have a sneaky suspicion if we were to actually face Maxis in these Zombie maps he'd be one HUGE challenge, not someone who can really be controlled so easily (Since the Thief spawns a round or two after you turn the power on, you can activate it as early as round 5) -

Before i begin, i'd like to make a quick note. I'll try to post on things like this as often as i can and use colors to highlight important stuff in my posts. Anyway, just like to add a couple of finding's no one's mentioned yet (hopefully): When you actually teleport to the Pack-A-Punch Machine, there's a desk on one side of the room. Upon the desk lies a gold name tag like you'd see in an office. The name read Ludwig Maxis, MD and had a Group 935 symbol on it as well (i've looked with a sniper rifle, i'll try to look again and maybe get a pic if needed) Playing one night on solo as The Mad Doctor, i acquired the Thundergun from the box and proceeded to hear Richtofen say something along the lines: "Oh Maxis, is this the DG-3? The DG-3 you've been hiding from me?" Whilst holding an explosive weapon of some sort, I stood out in the alley, by the Double Tap machine, and launched whatever I had at the tower closer to the barrier, and one of the movie reel transmissions started to play. Dunno if this was done on purpose or if it's just a glitch, but it was interesting to me none the less, especially considering it happened 3 separate times as i was holding The China Lake, the LAW and the Crossbow. EDIT** Afew minutes after I posted this, I found out about the Radio on that tower, so at least I know now why the radio transmission played when I shot that tower. -
Der Riese Server Exploration
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to football5699's topic in General Zombies Discussion
So many theories  But as for the ERichtofen and LMaxis loggin names, has anyone tried something relating to Die Glocke? Considering Die Glocke was fairly evident in Der Riese, strong possibility that may be a password. -
Let me be the first to say, nice website/forums I have my own theories about the zombie mode storyline but i'm curious to find out more, and to hopefully come up with some good strategies for zombie survival as well. Other than that, won't get much troubles out of me. lol.
