Honestly, even though Frags may be stronger than Semtex, Frags on a map this size would suck. imagine you're in one of the open parts of the level with a group of zombies behind you, you chuck your frag at the group but it smacks right off a zombies chest and into the water, not doing anything to the zombies. Now, imagine the same situation, but instead of throwing a frag, you chuck a semtex grenade, watch it stick to a zombie's chest and blow most of the group up. Much better results in my opinion.

Not a remake, a brand new track, called I'm Not Ready To Die. Should be a 30 second preview of it somewhere on Youtube, but the track is probably coming out on Monday.

RichtofAn says that when he runs out of Ammo. 8-)

COTD; Game Maker or Game Breaker?
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to killerussian's topic in Call Of The Dead
Well after the most recent update, I can guarantee that the original 4 heroes WILL be back, Treyarch wouldn't leave their most popular characters high n dry, and at the rate they're making Map Packs, they'll have at least one more map pack before the next CoD game announcement. Either way, this looks like an absolutely sick map, I'm so glad I bought this already at GameStop, now just gotta wait for my code! -
Level Music To Be By Avenged Sevenfold and 45 Grave!

Fuckin' stoked yo, sorry for the urban lingo but A7X + Black Ops Zombies = WIN. Cant' go wrong with that. -
Dead Head is actually a term straight from Buffy. I've seen all the seasons, I remember Buffy calling certain creatures "Dead Heads" every now and then, but you're probably right.

Possibly Call of the Dead easter egg song?
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to beegle678's topic in Call Of The Dead
That type of ring appears when a YouTube movie is buffering. So perhaps the poster of said video got it from a different poster. -
There's a couple of spots in the Inside Xbox video where people are sniping from lord knows how far away, and two survivors run through the scope. One scope of course being the G11 scope too. But ya, honestly I liked that part of Verruckt, that made that map much more intense!

No vampires, whoever started that rumor is a moron. That's not a vampire in that pic, it's an actor looking like a zombie getting stabbed with a pitchfork.

lol it's pretty obvious form the trailer that even the things the characters wear are references. Trejo's Blades = Machette Gellar's Outfit = straight outta Buffy if i'm not mistaken Englund's Fedora = Probably the same one he used in A Nightmare on Elm Street Rooker's bandaged Hands = a refrence to his Merle Dixon character from Walking Dead Trejo looks like he walked straight outta machete into treyarchs office to be honest. hahaha, Badass none the less!

Possibly Call of the Dead easter egg song?
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to beegle678's topic in Call Of The Dead
I do hate that this song preview keeps getting taken down >_ -
But again, why rush things? Even if they did have a testing group for their new zombies ideas, they'd have to rush to complete every single zombie map on time, and I bet it even has something to do with the voice actors themselves, specifically Steve Blum who plays Dempsy and Nolan North who plays Rochtofan. North just got done doing voiceover work for Portal 2 and now he's working on Uncharted 3 (where he obviously plays Nathan Drake) so even if Treyarch wanted to do things this way, there's no possible way they actually could.

Possibly Call of the Dead easter egg song?

Actually that exact song on Five was used in one of the world premier Black Ops trailers. That's why it's in there. -
Ya there's no Vampires in this map. Whoever thinks that this pic proves there's vampires is blind. Englund is stabbing an actor during his movie shoot, and the actor is dressed like a zombie. What vampire has blood coming from his hears and small chunk of his skin missing entirely? Aside from those zombies in the new Priest movie but that's another story.

That I can understand, Der Riese is a great map, don't get me wrong, but let's look at this way: Would you rather have the zombie team come up with like...2 or 3 new ideas and rush their zombie map that has our original 4 heroes on it? Or would you rather them TEST new elements they wanna bring to us, get feedback, and make those new elements even better when they do put our original 4 characters in it? I'm not against change one bit, and have caught on to the pattern Treyarch's throwing at us, so I see no need for ANYONE to honestly bitch and complain about this map, especially when their main argument is the characters we play as.

Your hostility towards this map seems ill-placed friend. This is easily one of the most epic trailers for anything ever released this year. Think of it this way, if your biggest beef is with the lack of Nikloai and Dempsy and that crew, there's a pattern to the zombie maps from Black Ops: Kino: Gave us some basic new elements to the traditional mode. Five: Brought in the elements from Kino that worked and gave us more new elements, IE a new boss round, multiple levels, an even more interactive way to get to the PaP Machine, etc. Ascension: Brought over the new weapons and mechanics form Five that worked, brough back some things we were more used to, like a wide map without the multi-level BS, and gave us even MORE new elements, like a new boss round, new weapons, new perks, etc. CotD: Probably has alot of parts of Ascension that were awesome, and is obviously bringing us some new elements to experiement with, while bringing back some older things we're used to, like being able to battle zombies in Teams of 2 like on Verrukt. So if this is the pattern Treyarch's following, I say Treyarch can keep going, cause they've got success on their hands. Oh and please, please, (and this goes to EVERYONE) Don't compare anything CoD zombie related to L4D. The ONLY similarity to L4D that CotD has is the fact that one character's a female and one character's old. That's it. Seriously, comparing CotD or COD Zombies in general to L4D is like sending Charlie Sheen to rehab. It's just...it's blasphemy.

Actually on the inside Xbox thing, Trejo knocks Englund in the head when he's talking to Romero, and Englund refers to him as Danny. And in terms of this whole post in general, I have to disagree with the OP's opinion as well. Think of it this way, Treyarch's got a pattern going on with these zombie maps: Kino: Introduced some new elements to the traditional zombie mode Five: Brought in the elements from Kino and added even more new elements, ie a new boss round, multi levels, an even more interactive way of getting to the PaP Machine Ascenesion: Brought in the elements from Five that worked and pegged them to the traditional zombie elements, and even introduced more new elements, ie a bigger map, a new boss round that did something else even newer, new perks. CotD: Probably gonna be bringing in some elements from Ascension, like the large map size, and introduces even more new elements to the zombie mode while bringing back some old favorite mechanics, like being able to handle the zombies in teams of 2 on separate parts of the map like on Verrukt. Whatever the next map is: Will probably introduce new things while bringing in the things from CotD that worked. So just think of it this way. And like Alpha said, we haven't even played CotD yet. It's cool to give an opinion, but who knows, this may be the most fast paced, action packed map ever.

Seeing the Undead Romero on round 1?
KAOS_Shogun4489 replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Call Of The Dead
Dude, I just thought of something. What if the Angry(est) Romero acts like a teleport when he hits you with the hammer? Like when he's extremely pissed off, and he manages to hit someone on the team with the hammer, he both harms them and transports them to a completely different part of the map, then wanders off or something? Kind of like the Pentagon Thief, only WAY more deadly. Of course I bring this theory cause if you notice, Romero looks like he's charged to hell with Element 115.
