I totally agree with you there, but this thread is also the kind of thing that would turn people away. The vast majority of codz members and indeed zombie players don't have the classic maps so a post saying that as we didn't get hardened then we don't deserve the classic maps isn't going to go down well.

You still need oxygen for the internal explosion, nothing ignites without oxygen. For combustion you need a fuel, heat and oxygen, you need all three for combustion. Anyway I dragged this thread off topic so lets get things back on track. I don't think gravity will make all that much difference for the most part, I think there will possibly be a special round with less gravity. I don't think treyarch would want to change things too much as the zombie formula is a winner and drastically changing something as fundamental as gravity could piss off alot of people.

I'm kind of saddened at the existence of this thread... This kind of thing is nothing new... games companies do this all the time. A new blockbuster game is released with a standard edition and also a deluxe edition that has a bit of DLC and a crappy book that you will never read and maybe some stickers or some shit... You convince yourself that you really need the DLC so you pay an extra £20/$20. You are happy with things until you realise you can get the DLC separately and feel cheated. But you're not, you bought the hole package with all its crappy books and shitty stickers, you didn't by an exclusive right to the DLC. The hardened edition and prestige editions were only a limited run, and they get bought up quickly, a lot of them go to people who imediately try to sell them on at an inflated price. How is it fair that people who missed out on a hardened edition or didn't have the stupid money needed to buy the prestige edition have no option to get the classic maps. Since Black Ops has been released people have been desperate to get the classic maps I myself one of them. Treyarch listen to the fans and are trying to give them what they want, they care about the fans so much that they are even trying to do something for the people who bought the special editions, even though they don't have to and almost all other companies wouldn't in this situation. You say that you would buy the DLC to support the developers, but really what you have done by creating this thread is give them a big slap in the face. They've tried to do something for you, and you've just told them to f*ck off... and thrown it right back in their faces. I used to have a lot of respect for you TheOnlyShapeshifter but with this thread you have just lost a lot of it... Comments like you bought the prestige just for the classic maps, but you don't like the classic maps because they are crap, and that you don't want the new "FREE" map because it looks crap, just make you look like a spoilt child. I'm not wanting to get into an argument over this, I just hope you can read over what you've said and understand what people are saying.

Not exactly, have you ever seen videos of the astronauts trying to run on the moon, it's not exactly a fast way of getting around. I'm assuming we are going to be in some kind of space suit which really hinder movement. Come to think of it, how will guns work on the moon, there is no oxygen to burn so how will the gun powder in the shells get ignited... Treyarch "You got some splanin to do..."

Well the gersch kinda did that with the monkies, they didn't die when they got sucked they just reappeared somewhere else on the map. Maybe it opens a kind of doorway to the aether, and allows zombies in and out... so you can trap them in there, but you have to be careful as you could also unleash a new horde...

first thing it is not treyarch ,bs is to wait 1month longer nd i payed for the classics maps when i bought hardened.get facts straight! But you are only waiting 1 month longer for Moon, which you will get for free. What would be BS is if you didn't get Moon for free and you had to pay 1200 points or whatever it is for PS3 to get the one map. Treyarc/Activision have tried to do the right thing here, I'm not sure what else they can do for you.

The ascension egg is done, and I'm not sure about gersch turning up. Maybe he will, maybe the whole point of going to ascension was to free him so he could help us end the zombies... I kinda think that the egg on this map will be to stop the zombies, whatever we do will bring about the end.

I think that there will be artificial gravity that will get turned off on special rounds and the astronaut zombies come out. I don't think the heroes will die, the intel talks about "turning back the tide on the undead army" this to me means killing all the zombies... I think the broken astronaut helmet is a zombie as they also have blood on their gloves.

Well if you look at the artwork for Moon, zombies and other objects are floating away, while the zombie astronauts are coming at us... I'm now expecting big things, I hope I'm not going to be disappointed

The intel says This to me means the moon base has some kind of artificial gravity that for some reason isn't working properly, maybe special rounds the gravity is turned off, and instead of normal zombies ie the scientists, specially suited astronaut zombies come out. Then when that round is down, the gravity gets turned back on.

I get where you are coming from and that would be a nice idea, kinda like the teleported in kino taking you to different rooms for a couple of seconds... You would still have a long wait while it loaded the new map though, and another wait while it loaded moon again. I do like your suggestion though...

I'm sorry but how on earth do you already own the DLC. Fair play to you and spent the extra money on the hardened edition (I wish I had...) and you got the classic maps straight away, but you don't "own" the rezurrection DLC you have not paid for it you paid for the hardened edition. Treyarc are going to be kind enough to give you moon for free when it is released, I doubt you will even need to download the rezurrection DLC, you will probably just get the option to download Moon on its own. So no it won't break the exclusivity deal.

It would be cool but I can see some problem with it. It would spoil the flow of the game, also how would they handle it, would you start at round 1 on the new map or would you carry on at the round you were on. Also what about points would you retain them or start at 0, and doors, if you started the new map on the round you were on on the old map, would any doors be open or would you have to open them ASAP. So for these reasons I can't see it happening to be honest. The Classic maps are coming out because they will be a major reason people will decide to buy this map pack, also people have been asking for them ever since they realised they missed out on the hardened edition (myself included).

We completed the egg by round 17, but we spent ages waiting for the JGB from the box, and then waiting for a napalm zombie. Basically the egg can take varying amounts of time, depending on how lucky you are with the box, and how lucky you are with the naplam zombie, the other thing that can take time is pack a punching the JGB, the guy who had it kept buying perks all the time rather than pap'ing it. Ideally you'd want to complete the egg twice and let the two players who are planning to go on the long run, get all the 7 perks as this will help you go on even longer....

Not encountered this myself, but have you tried dolphin diving over them. I used to dolphin dive over them for fun when people were pack a punching and needed someone to keep the crawler occupied, so I know you can dolphin dive over them.

I once reported a guy after playing a round of TD on villa, as we were getting to the end of the round, he sent me a voice message full of expletives calling me a cheat and other things to that effect. As we entered the lobby after the game ended he carried on his tirade of abuse saying how I cheated and that if he ever saw me how he would kick my ass... I simply told him that its not my fault he can't play the game properly, and that he should give his dad his xbox back and go play Indiana Jones on his Wii instead. This obviously upset him more. So I blocked him. A day went by and it had been bugging me why he had called me a cheat, since I'm not that great. So I went into the theatre and watched the match again. Fair enough I did better than I would normally do, but not so well that it looked like I had cheated. I actually only killed him once, and there was no way cheating could have been involved. Then towards the end of the match you saw him hide in a corner and not move for a couple of minutes, clearly when he was sending me the voice message. I then decided to report him, there was absolutely no need for his comments, and it wasn't just trash talking, he had gone to the effort of actually sending me a message. Its these kind of experience, especially the rascism that tarnishes online gaming, and I think we all have to do our bit to report it.
