I personally think that saying that there is a way to kill George permanently is like saying there is a way to stop the hell hound rounds, or to stop the monkeys from landing... You aren't going to be able to get rid of him, he's part and parcel of the map.

I think the whole thing with time travel came about when they didn't get kino into the cancelled WAW map pack 4. They had made the map and wanted to release it, but needed it to fit in more with the Black Ops timeline (for continuity with the weapons), so the time travelling crap was born. IMO kino is where they planned on ending the nazi zombies storyline, as since then its kind of dried up. I think they planned on doing just general zombies for black ops like with Five, but because of all the complaints over Five they brought the 4 heros back again for ascension, but don't really know where the story is heading anymore. -
They may well be tombstones, but they are not coffins, they just look like ruins from perhaps a temple or something. Also to the person who asked why would they make the map before the game comes out. Its because making maps takes a hell of a long time to do putting things in the right place and getting the lighting right to give the right atmosphere. We already know that work had started on some of the MP maps that came out in escalation were being worked on before the game came out, because someone found all the unfinished "cancelled" maps, and there was one very similar to hotel. I would imagine that alot ofl the work for DLC's is done before the game comes out to ensure they hit the deadlines.

I think he's putting an idea out there, and suggesting we keep shooting George with the lazarus before he gets to the water, possibly with the effect of turning him back into a human. I don't think there is going to be anyway of getting to go long term,

Makes total sense, especially when you think the zombies seem to be evolving and getting smarter and moving in new ways. Also the fact the "toys" are getting the upper hand would explain why she "created" George.

I've noticed this once or twice but put it down to coincidence. If everyone leaves George alone then it takes ages for the first zombies to appear.

Well seeing as currently there have been 44 views and no replies to this pretty sweet strategy I thought I'd reply. I think its a pretty good strategy although I do feel this would get a little monotonous for 20 or so rounds. Plus I have more problems staying alive before getting Jugg. Most times I play there is no cooperation and people go off in all directions spending all their money on doors and crap mg's I try to follow your previous video of staying at the top of the first boat by the power room until you have enough to buy jugg, but ultimately everyone else opens doors which ruin my plan. Still this looks a good strategy and [brains] to you for sharing it with us, there doesn't seem to be that many strategies appearing on here these days. -
I totally agree, with you. This is all some kind of game to her, and she gives the power ups to give us some kind of fighting chance, but ultimately I think she still wants us to die, but only when she tires of her game.

Why Richtofen is in an astronaut suit *UPDATED* 2/24

I'd like to bring across an idea from the COTD category, that Richtofen is building something. During the egg on COTD, he asks you to retrieve a part, and talks of building something. So maybe on ascension he needs to travel to the moon in order to retrieve a part from a lunar base. Also he could be trying to get to the moon to get more element 115, Richtofen and Maxis were both experimenting with 115 to power weapons and other items. -
I think its to tell all players that someone has the ray gun, as everyone can hear the noise regardless of where they are on the map.

but escalation was adverstised WAY baefore crysis 2's map pack was announced. Yeah thanks to that slip up at Game in Australia we saw posters titled escalation, if the name did change it changed months and months ago. -
I've had this a number of times, and I noticed that on the intel on the official COD site, it mentions a zipline at the top of the lighthouse that the crew just can't get working.... I think you are right about Georges light being the cause of the blinking though, its the same colour and similar flash pattern to his stage light when he has been killed, and I'm pretty sure syndicate had killed George in this pond before it happened. Mystery solved

There has to be a way of getting through that ice, I'm convinced that the staircase goes further down. Also has anyone else noticed that the intel mentions a zipline at the top of the lighthouse that the crew just can't get working, I've had a number of times when I can't use this zipline even when i've opened the other boat up... Is this a coincidence????

Just to let people know. The book that started all this about Vril (as mentioned by SickmyDuck) The Coming Race, is available for free on Amazons Kindle bookstore. I've downloaded it and will be reading it over the coming weeks.

As someone else mentioned if you google a Vril staff, you should find a description of a device used for channeling vril energy that shares many similarities to the golden rod. Is it a coincidence that you use the VR11 (vril) gun to make a human go into the green light to get the golden rod (Vril Staff)??? The Vril society also has some ties to the lost city atlantis, which we all know is underwater, this could be why there is a submarine, no idea why there is a green light coming from it though...

Brains for you on that post ^^^ Wikipedia has a description of a Vril Staff and although the description is vague the golden rod found in the "easter egg" definately fits into the description. The water also fits with the atlantians.

When I saw it on the syndicate video, it was like something under the water was sparking and lighting the rock up orange. very odd. I'll try and find which video it was and post a link so everyone can see it.

I think I saw this on one of syndicates videos on youtube, he briefly mentioned it saying he didn't know what it was then moved on. I personally have never seen it, but I don't often make it over to this part of the map.
