no, if you listen to the radios you will know that samantha is already in the damn pyramid, not her soul but her entire body aswell, they ask maxis to get samantha out, however maxis knows what is going on and what the device is and what samantha will be able to do (along with know Richtofen experimenting on her BEFORE now, this is why maxis says "Kill them...all" The gun shot is Groph shouting NO! (in response to what maxis just told Samantha to do) then shooting Maxis in the head, (again further confirmed by samantha after body swapping with richtofen saying about "taking daddy away from me") and then Groph after killing maxis saying "we are doomed" not Smantha getting shot and Maxis shouting No, i mean for crying out loud how did that even make sense in anyones head to begin with how hard is it to actually listen to the radios yourself and not just taking wikis word for it, and how could no one get the story when its laid out so clearly infront of us :S i dunno, whats with people these days

ive found 2 film reels and 2 radios that i cant activate yet, so must be more somewhere as they are activated in order?
-
it can be done solo, im currently doing it now and am on the orb step already

Shangri la was before moon, not only because of the pages, but because nikolai quotes "ah this reminds me of shangri la" while jumping across the lunar bouncers although ascension seems the obvious choice, they didnt come from shangri to the moon, they went from shangri la to Groom lake navel base THEN to the moon

If your into the zombies storyline PLEASE READ
TFG Dubz replied to Syndicate#2's topic in Shangri-La
No offense OP but fail Every map has something to do with the story in 1 way or another, even NDU and Five, some maps have huge things to do with the story, others have minor clues, BUT ALL have something to do with the story one way or another -
Wtf is with brock & Gary doin in shangri la??!!

Monkey bombs will now be known as... mankey bombs Possible new weapons? Pokeball-bomb Votorb orb of death New perks machines? the pik-a-punch (turns every gun electric like wunderwaffe) Goes thousands of these but you get the idea, damn if only there was a FPS pokemon game... -

Looking for ash and misty.....sorry been waiting to say it since release day (im so easily amused its scary) -
Well yeah kinda speaks for itself in cotd btw they are naked in the dark room in cotd, so that would explain why they has differnt clothes
-
Its not hard to change the trigger to exclude a perk from being obtained for solo
-
the looks of the characters can be explained (Ish) as there are several myths about fountain of youth etc linked to shamabala

I have the shangri-la .ff file which has all the easter egg code etc, however im having trouble turning it into zone files which makes it readable like the call of the dead game code I sent strwsbob, so hopefully we will have more insight then when I figure how to do it again Secondly the focusing stone fits onto the golden rod, and will most likely (going by the indiana jones theme) is likely to be part of the final easter egg, possibly a map in which we can travel and play in the aether and confront sam and the demonic announcer Anyway the focusing stone will go and fit onto the golden rod and act.like a shaman staff imo
-
Seems your all forgetting richtofen has been the antagonist since the start, why is it people have only just started to realize this?
-
i believe so, alot less areas to hold out on compared to COTD imo

Apologize for typoes im on my phone atm the map its a hard one to place, but I put it up there with Der Riese in terms of tight passageways and corners with just enough space to ru n away/around zombies to escape. Having played every zombie map on release day (including original W@W maps, id put Shangri-la up in the top three, as its big, but you dont feel ugh gotta run halfway round the map to revive a stupid random, theres plenty of shortcuts enemies monkeys, shriekers, napalm zombs all add enough variaty into the mix to keep you on your toes and although I gots love for the fluffsters, im not to dissapointed hellhounds arent back in this map weapons better wonder weapon than the vril from COTD and alot more useful, monkey bombs return which everyone is extreamly happy about in closing its a relief to be playing as the original furious four again and seeing more about the story (and although the easter eggs are long winded if your playing with randoms, its well worth the effort) Id put this in the top 3 best zombie maps and is good to see treyarch do a jungly theme once again. Is it worth it? Hell yes, more so than COTD. A 9 out of 10 map for me, only loses out on a perfect ten due to the lack of the easter egg being able to be completed Solo, this is just my opinion though, most dont care about easter eggs will love the diverse layout of the map

Its the same nursury rhyme from der riese and kino

thanks mate nah believe it or not choosing her GT will be alot more difficult than it was actually picking her name lol (ive tried) thats cool, a few weeks time is perfect, things are quite hectic at the moment with the kids so that will be great timing :)

in all fairness, Treyarch are idiots, and its a very valid comment if you think about it. Treyarch make this amazing sub game called Nazi zombies and is the best thing since free porn, they then add conspiracy thoeries and a story line that makes you want to figure it out yourself, and on top of all that they get the best possible voice cast for the job (excluding call of the dead) yet... despite all that, Treyarch made 2 very big mistakes, one which is the direct result of the other, let me explain we have lobbies in which to play online with random people, yet 90% of them dont know about the easter eggs or just cant simply do them for what ever reason, i myself have been in several matches where everyone (except) myself dies on round 5 or less, that or they leave when ever they do get downed. which brings me to the point where i begged and pleaded Treyarch across every board i could find and all Treyarch employee twitter accounts asking for easter eggs to be completed if you play solo aswell as co-op (after Ascension) which thankfully in COTD they did however i like to play with random people, its what makes xbox live great, however the problem is as mentioned above, people either suck or just dont know enough about zombies to do the Easter eggs, which is why Solo should come into play, yet they dont include easter eggs to be completed solo on Shangri-la, which i think is a really bad move, as its not our fault most people are twats or under 12 on XBL i dont personally care about the achievements, i got bored when i got all W@W zombie achievements. but i do love the zombie story and would love to be able to go through, analyse everything at my own pace in closing of this rant, Treyarch sure as bloody hell better do one last map before MW3 otherwise that in my eyes has ruined what was a great run for Treyarch (Der Riese was perfect ending, despite the fact kino was supposed to be the last for W@W)

he has what he needs to control zombies and has the power to time travel, as the maps go in order, if there is a new map, then it will be a prequel map as it were, before all this started
-
Honestly? Not a chance imo, theres too many steps that require multiple players Will soon have the shangri la easter egg game code so will be able to confirm or deny shortly
-
hey CC, have you come across anything mayan related to a focusing stone? as shangri la are a ruined mayan temple (based of the flyer from game.co.uk ive come across a few bits and pieces but nothing substantial as of yet and good idea about the shrieker and the focusing stone, didnt think of that but now you mention it, looking at the colossal 75G achievement its obviously going to be a huge task, maybe theres a certain way to remove that bright orb from the shrieker? maybe napalm a shrieker? fire and ice... guess we will find out soon enough unfortunately wont be able to play tomoz, getting my new daughter registered tomoz and got a few other things to do P.S when we both get some free time fancy a game of shangri-la? seems like the best map so far with the most possibilities Take care mate
-
Later that day, first time on Shangri-La... "Damn those shrieker zombies! Slowing me down and getting killed by my zombie train!" *Controller thrown against the wall, Black Ops disk snapped* meh, you gotta think, i (as are we all) am used to running through novaZ gas just for an extra challenge plus the stun effect the monkeys in ascension give you, we have been slowly building up to this with napalm n blinding effects of shrieker zombies that being said...if i get downed because of a shrieker i will be shouting out a far few expletives lol
-
out of all the zombies from hellhounds to novaz and even monkeys... the worst ever enemy for me has to be the lunatic sprinters from Verruckt, they are the fastest thing in zombies (even faster than hell hounds) and if they catch you mid reload its game over these new ones dont bother me half as much

judging by all the footage id say optimum based on all parts of the level seen so far 1st gun Optimum would be starting with a SMG or a Stakeout, then box till ray gun if poss 2nd gun needs to be a heavy hitter so start with a assault rifle, Commando is a good choice if it comes up, then go for one of the 2 LMGs, i prefer the hk but its down to preference there ARE a few open areas around shangri-la, seen the videos so know theres a couple of good grouping sections for your "Rape Trains" but the majority is close quarters from what ive seen, esp on the cliff face and underground sections, so a shotty is great for that or a SMG for fast reload speeds. i suggest not basing any strategy around the leprechaun gun, do not rely on any wondergun too much, any vet will tell you that monkeys, claymores (upgraded crossbow if need be) are all needed for close quarter maps, weve known this since w@w, as there is a restriction on movement in tight maps what ive seen is escape routes are key, the bamboo spikes that kill/slowdown zombies will be most useful imo along with the water slide my area atm that would have my attention most is below the waterfall, as theres 2 exits and as far as i can see only 1 zombie window, which would be great for carbons camping hold outs

screen caps off the new-ish video alpha, heres the vid its around 2:20 on the vid (cant find original so heres a slowed down version with some dude talking bout god knows what, my baby is asleep so sound is low)
-
The leprechaun gun is very apt for Shangri La, think back to those old cultures that used to shrink heads etc (beatlejuice anyone?) Makes sense for it to be in this map, I mean already looks more useful than the fail vril Just a thought though...will we be able to shoot our allies ala cotd and shrink (temporarily of course) to escape under the legs and skirts of the zombies? And go through small escape tunnels like the tunnels in multiplayer for the rcs
