Theory: Maybe Richtofen fixes up the Gersch device so it doesn't random teleport anymore and they use the Wunderwaffe to overload it (like in Der Riese) so they can travel into the future again. This is the only thing I can think of, but IF this theory were correct, the next question is where do the get a Wunderwaffe? Maybe there is more to Ascensions easter egg, I don't really see how though because no one has found anything else since the Death Machines. If there were another part to the easter egg, and you were to get the Wunderwaffe it would tie Ascension to CotD, and make 3arcs Ascension poster make alot more sense.

I like the George character. He adds a certain tension that I hadn't experienced since NDU. He can most definitely be annoying sometimes, but it gives this map flavor. I played it at a buddy's house on xbox, and I got a Death Machine on round 3, and unloaded the whole thing in him. Imagine my surprise when he didn't even flinch. I was freaking out. On the other hand, I think he should have fit into a more traditional boss role. Like appearing every so many rounds and increasing his health a little each time he shows up (instead of increasing the number of dogs/creepers/monkeys). He should also drop Max Ammo for sure. So, basically I like George, but I dislike the way 3arc implemented him.

Good point, I wasn't for sure or anything just brainstorming, and thats really all I could come up with. Also, 3arc seems to be getting a little lazy on the storyline side. The gameplay is great, but the story is kinda getting convoluted. I like how they leave clues but dang it, I want some solid answers from 3arc sometime soon. Oh, I just thought of something, maybe the rocket just malfunctioned, because we know Yuri was working on the Gersch device in secret after being transferred to Rocket Division, and before that his work was already lack luster. With his attention divided maybe he screwed up the rocket, or sabotaged it. If a rocket was to break apart to the orbit stage like this one, while still in the atmosphere, I would think it wouldn't have enough thrust and come crashing down.

Honestly, I see your point, but at the same time I wonder why they would go to all the trouble to put the old characters in anyway, just to give you a Wunderwaffe. Why not just put the gun in without the characters if it was for gameplay purposes? I wish 3arc would make the story more concrete tho, most of the whole zombies storyline is based in speculation. I want some answers 3arc! A dog only goes so long without food before it bites the hand that feeds it.

Considering the technology found around this place (Gersch Device), and with the timeline putting it somewhere around the Space Race, I'm sure that this place was Top-Secret. I'd say the differences in the rockets would be due to the fact that they were Prototypes, which also explains why they were sending monkeys into space. Someone/something had to test the rockets. lol Maybe the second rocket crashed because it was unmanned and needed input from ground control. Then, zombies attacked while it was in the launch process, and ground control was eaten. These are pretty simple answers to your questions, but sometimes those are the best ones.

Classic Maps put into Map-Pack for Black Ops.
SwarmxofxHate replied to Turbodude917's topic in Classic Maps
I had the money to buy the hardened edition, as it wasn't that much more expensive than the regular version, but when I got to Gamestop all they had were regular and prestige. WTF do I need an RC car for? Not a damn thing. I feel like I simply got screwed, because I'm more than willing to give 3arc my money, and I figured they would come out on Playstation Network a couple months after, but still haven't. I also don't understand why people think they shouldn't release them. Come on guys, you've had 6 months of exclusivity, why can't everyone else get a crack at those maps? -
In my opinion, the demonic voice is Samantha, because that voice says the names of the power-ups dropped by zombies. When playing as Richtofen sometimes he will say "A gift from Sam, but WHY?!" when you pick up a power-up.

Well Five has to take place in 1963, because the Cuban Missile Crisis already happened and Kennedy wasn't assassinated yet. You meet Clarke in the campaign in 68. So, why would he look older 5 years prior to you meeting him. And as far was we know you can only travel forward in time using teleporters not backwards. I think Clarke is not the thief. There is also no conclusive evidence to think Clarke was in Group 935 and the Thiefs bag has there logo on it. Also, on the Thiefs strap it has Illumanati writing that translates to "Living Dead". Not sure what this means because I also don't think he is a zombie. If we can find the identity of a person associated with Illumanati and Group 935 we may get closer to an answer. The only person I can think of with affiliations with both is Richtofen, and I really don't think its him. Hope that helps. It could also be late 1962, but most likely it's 1963. True.

BEEP BEEP WRONG You're an idiot. Have you LISTENED to the radios in Der Riese? Guess what Guys? The zombies in Nazi Zombies are BASED OF FACTUAL, NAZI EXPERIMENTS The zombies were not made by people being bitten? They died, and WERE REANIMATED Do you know what REANIMATED means, SwarmxofxHate? It means they died first. God you're whiney The concept of 'reanimation' is within Nazi Zombies. Go listen TO ALL THE DER RIESE radios, BEFORE you enter this discussion Honestly, this is the first time you've said something that wasn't in you initial post. The Der Riese radios mention nothing of turning a dead body into a zombie. Also, were did all the other zombies come from if being bitten wasn't a way to be turned? Maxis only had so many test subjects. Fluffy was test subject 6. So how did 5 zombies become 1000's? Being bitten. Anyway, you haven't said anything about my teleporter debunk in an earlier post. How can you be sure that the Pentagon teleporter is even capable of time travel? Honestly though, you seem VERY passionate about Clarke being the Pentagon thief. We are all entitled to our opinions, I just don't share the same one. If you could prove Clarke was in the Illumanati and/or group 935 you would win me over to your side. As it stands I still think we don't know who he is for sure. In closing, do we really have to resort to name calling? That seems very immature. I'm just stating facts so we can ALL reach the truth, I thought that was what the forum was about.

Agreed with the last part, but every zombie media shares something if not everything with another piece of zombie media, if they didn't why would they bother to call it zombies? Also, the points, mystery box, etc. is in there because its a game. But to fully answer you question most of us are referencing other zombie media to explain why Anti Earth's theory has some holes in it. You cant deny the fact that Treyarch zombies share some similarities to George A. Romero's. The origin is a meteor and if you shoot there heads off they die. Anyway, we need to get back on subject. Anyone have any theories as to why it says Living Dead in Illumanati writing on the Thiefs strap? I posted my views up on another post, but no one seemed to care everyone is wanting to argue zombie symantics for some reason.

Honestly your theory could be right but this video only shows 3 film reels and 2 radios. The supposed 4th film reel in the meeting room with the rocket on this video, is the same as the first one he finds. This film has been edited to make it look like he found four when he only found 3. So still only 5 radios/film reels. More searching to be done if your theory is correct. UPDATE: I was listening to the Der Riese radios again and Fluffy, the mother of all Hellhounds, was test Subject 6! Maybe that's what it means.

Holy crap! In the level that has a square catwalk around it, those big zombies that take lots of damage is a zombie version of Sergei from the campaign mission Vorkuta. [brains] to you for posting this vid.
-
Well I understand what you mean now. Being bitten before death is not the ONLY way, just one. In CoD if you go through a teleporter you can become a zombie because of over-exposure to element 115, this is how the first zombies were made. So yeah I agree with Cpt. Stylin on that. We still need to get back on subject because HalfSwiss said that because its one of the flaws in Anti Earth's theory. i.e. Clarke didn't use a teleporter (as far as we know) and he couldn't be zombified after death because his brains are splattered all over Kowloon, and zombies don't eat necrotic flesh. I personally don't believe he is a zombie or Clarke for that matter.
-
Except there's nothing to suggest this in Nazi Zombies. The radio messages in Der Riese explain the zombies came from failed teleportation experiments. Sorry but yes there is something to suggest this. You shoot the head of a zombie off in the game and it dies, it may keep moving for a little bit but if you watch it, it will walk a little ways and die without you needing to do anymore damage.
