#3 Don't bite back
-
I could actually see it working... Once it was used once (maybe 3000 points), it starts a Round based cooldown (5 rounds or so) until those rounds are up, then it is unusable again. Maybe?

Where do YOU want the next zombies map?
Vallkure replied to METALLICA175's topic in Research & Development
I like the Arctic base idea. Maybe a Die Glocke style teleporter for easy transportation. After all there were three in Der Riese. One is in Kino. What happened to the other two? -
Okay, just got done emailing. Thanks for the help.
-
Yeah, some pretty cool stuff on the maps, just some neat little atmospheric noise, like boards creaking and wind noise. You almost can never hear it in multiplayer due to the action, but it's creepy to hear it when you're spectating alone.

Yeah, got myself into a bit of trouble here. Joined a random TDM, joined right in the middle of a match. Well it was obviously hacked, hightened jump, faster sprinting, etc. Instant promote to level 65, all challenges completed. Well the host ended game, and my level reset back to what it was before, but now I have all these "New" banners on things I can't select. I've looked around on the internet and I don't think there is anything I can do to reverse the challenges, but is there at least something I can do to make all the stupid banners go away?

Just my opinion, but I think it's related in a sense, but not related. I've always assumed it was one of the first outbreaks of zombies, the big "Hey, we have a problem." that set the stage for the later levels. But to me it's just as much of the story as SNN and Der Riese, just different people, different place. I don't really think it needs all the connections to 935, Sam, Maxis and all the other stuff, I think NDU is just another one of the areas affected.

I'll have to look over there this time, probably be worth checking out especially if I can translate it. I've heard the stuff about the ghosts, but I've never seen anything that would make or break the legend. However practically every map that I spectated on has really creepy atmosphere that you don't notice when there's actually a game going on.

I knew there was already one voice on Nightfire, the same audio from Dome (near the statue). But I was spectating around, bored, trying to find a source of that voice. A radio or speaker or something. Anyway, I was around the big clearing in the middle, on the otherside of the wall when I heard a second voice like the Wehrmacht Multiplayer announcer. He talked for several minutes, probably on a loop, but I was kinda wondering if anyone else has heard this or knows what he's saying. And while I'm talking about voices, the Asylum bathroom piano music creeps me out, haha.

Since my old avatar is getting.. well... old, I'm going to use the hellhound one. Thanks :D

I'm a PS3 owner, so I haven't been able to really follow this huge easter egg chain, so don't shoot me for being an idiot. Anyway, could the DeathMachines be part of a later step? Like you have to shoot something and they give you the 90 sec bonus to give more time to locate the target?
-
Nice pic, but I only have one quick question... Just where is Blue Ops? I see his name but I can't see him.
-
Don't give up quite yet, haha, I've been planning on redoing at least the audio for a while.
-
Playstation releases normally follow about a month behind the Xbox release.
-
Takeo looks... older... Anyway, Wunderwaffe! Can't wait to see if it makes a return. :D
-
I think that it's probably Richtofen without his hat. Looking closer I think he's wearing the same clothes, just the lighting and angle make them look different...
-
At first I was like, it's just two walking side by side with a weird camera angle, then I noticed that there is only two legs, compared to, ya know, four... Anyway, getting headshots just got more interesting.

Don't know if someone's has said this already, but give me a chance, haha. PhD, kinda a proof of your talents or studies, and also a sign of superior knowledge in a subject. Now the thing that comes to mind is perks. More specifically the perk icons in the corner of your screen. Perks make you superior in certain skills (health, speed, etc) PhD Flopping, could either allow you to switch perks randomly with your teammates, or it could possibly reverse the ones you have (Say you have Jugg and Speed, you get the PhD Flopper, and it become Quick Revive and Double Tap) A third possibility that I came up with right as I was about the post: Getting the PhD Flopper nulls your active perks, but gives them back when you've been downed and revived. Doubt it, but just kinda throwing things out there.

I'm in the US, don't really get any lag, but I'm in a pretty rural area if that affects anything. My major complaint, though is the host and server disconnect problems.

Screaming in speed cola room... eek! NOW WITH VIDEO
Vallkure replied to Powerhouse631's topic in Kino Der Toten
The sometimes random changes in brightness when you look at things, usually outside, kinda gives it a dream like feel. Might just be my PS3's graphics though, what system are you all playing on? -
Were you teleported out of the room before you got your weapon out of the Pack a Punch?
-
You're not the only lefty here, haha. That's probably why I noticed the lefty-ish set up over any thing else. It's quite possible that the board has been twisted a little and that's what moved and knocked the pieces on the sides.
-
Defiantly a power struggle, and I'm aalmost entirely sure that the Black is Teddy, because placing the white "dead" pieces would require him to reach over the board, although I think it's interesting that both players place their pieces to the left of the board, kinda of an odd direction for a right handed person... I'm also inferring that Samantha is the white pieces, mostly because of the lamp. Kinda stretching this, but whatever: If it was dark enough to need a lamp to see, then wouldn't the first person bring the lamp over to the board? I mean it wouldn't make sense to make your guest bring the lamp over (especially if he/she is a toy ) And isn't the first player normally the white pieces? I think that the Evil side/ personality ha won over, hence the bloodied, destroyed version of the room. Well a couple of weird theories on my part, just some random musings while I was playing. Probably impossible, but I'd like some opinions... You have no weapon, knife, or hands when in these rooms. Could it be possible that you're not only time traveling but seeing things through someone else's eyes? In the destroyed room, the window is broken, could it be possible that something escaped? Possibly Samantha or whatever destroyed it in the first place?

Screaming in speed cola room... eek! NOW WITH VIDEO
Vallkure replied to Powerhouse631's topic in Kino Der Toten
Just did it, heard the weird creaking noises and everything. But could the scream be coming from behind? Like from the glowing window? -
Well, I think they'll follow the Iphone tutorial thing for his death, or base it off of. And seeing as they now have time travel as a plot device it could be very possible for us to see a Nacht der Untoten taking place possibly right after the Marines there fell to the zombies. Anyway, my bigger question is, how do you think they will go about it if they do? :/ Cutscene/ opening comic showing or suggesting his death and then start out with a new 4th player? Or maybe just starting out with a new fourth player and only a few radios or something to fill us in?
