  1. I vote FIVE. Yes, its nearly impossible to rock out very hard on Moon with randoms because you can't get your jug, but if you're good you can sometimes wait for them to bleed out and just get it yourself. Not often, but its an option. COTD is probably my favorite map to play with randoms because there are plenty of places to go without getting screwed over by their incompetence. Yes, hitting George mid-round is annoying, but I can live with it. FIVE, however, is simply deadly if you don't have cooperation from your peers. The area is too small, and just one person not following the plan fairly early gets everyone killed almost instantly. This is also a problem on Moon, but you at least you go down right away because of the idiots until waiting until round 4 or 5 for them to get you killed.
  2. Round 50, myself and General/Emperor Doggy. I have the leaderboard glitch on ascension, however I can provide photographic and .gif proof. Photo: Thats our final screen on Round 50, showing our points and kills Our points/kills leaderboard (for some reason it will save my high score, just not high rounds). And a backwards .gif of rounds I remembered to screenshot:
  3. oh I don't question that one bit, having a "save ass" weapon is pretty much vital to all my strategies. But its not at all vital until after round 20 or so, so I don't bother too much with the box until I have all 4 perks and a nice point bumper. So what this means is that chances are, i'm not going to get a wonder weapon out of the box, a spammer will have it already. So I just basically learned to work with what i've been given, loving the Lawton and working with Mustang and Sally.
  4. sure, but save my ass guns are most important at rounds 30+
  5. I'm a big solo player too, but the game just works so much different. Being able to pause is the biggest thing, but so is not needing to take risks to revive other players or cooperate
  6. I'll happily take a crossbow (on par with even the best WW if you ask me), but I never understood hitting the box more than once before juggernog. I think in the end, there isn't much you can do about greedy box-hogs. They are going to be rookies, they are going to go down frequently, and they are going to ragequit if not revived, and you aren't always going to be able to revive them.
  7. to rhyme it would have to be "noobertuber". Its not so bad in black ops though. I rarely encounter tube players at all, let alone those who use it exclusively
  8. playing with new players is a blast, playing with people who think they know what they're doing but are complete idiots is painful. Sometimes I get games where the players don't know the map very well, but see I have a good score so listen to what I have to say. But as a rule everyone without a mic is a terrible person
  9. I was a pretty bad player back in WaW days, I think the farthest I ever got was on Der Reise like 22 or so. But I still would rock the Thompson and go for headshots while everyone else was hitting box like jug didn't even exist
  10. I just don't get it. No wonderweapon is that good. Yes, it can provide a bit of an edge, but the times when you actually use it are so few and far between that it doesn't matter at all. The only time when you actually need them for kills is when you're so high in rounds that it takes the full cooperation of the team to get anything done anyway, so it doesn't matter who has it. I have passed round 30 without anyone getting monkies/gersch, in which case yes, its pretty important
  11. the most annoying thing randoms do to me is dicking around at the end of every round with the box. I understand that its the best time to be hitting it, but I just had a 23 round game that lasted over 2 hours because they spent upwards of 10 minutes a round humping the box into submission. This is easy to be mean, just kill the crawlers. But I always let them try a bit, then the abuse my patience, and I have to end it every. single. time.
  12. if a chunk of our atmosphere was gone, we wouldn't have any air to breathe. Its like saying you made a hole in a pool of water, it just doesn't work like that. What it could be is a lunar eclipse, a major recurring theme in the Zombies storyline (Der Reise takes place during the day, the moon is just blocking out the sun. Shangri-La's eclipses also play a large role). Earth being visible is either a graphical glitch due to re using sky textures from the Moon during the eclipse, or meant to tell us something entirely different. It hasn't been patched, so it is likely the latter. The red glow matches that of the earth's image at the conclusion of the egg as well. It could be some sort of mirage
  13. I'm guessing the three rockets were launched at 3 935 sites to unleash a greater zombie horde. I also believe that this was Maxis's doing, not Richtofen's.
  14. the fact that you can teleport back to earth and breathe without the PES says you can't. The atmosphere shows a very serious difference, but there is no way 4 rockets worth of anything would blow up the planet
  15. I think earth was more just dusted with 935 than blown up

    Ummm... Dweller

I was joking in all that fellas
  17. I postulate that Richtofen is a hero and Maxis a villan. The undead army is Maxis's creation, and he wanted control over it. He has since gained control and has attempted to stop Richtofen's grand scheme. I do not believe Richtofen's plan was to engulf earth in 935, but Maxis's, turning great swathes of people unto zombies which he could then control. This would make both Sam and Richtofen allies, attempting to thwart Maxis's scheme for global domination. The Moon radios show him trying to play down his sins to Sam when she finds out, but her being engulfed in the aether and attempting to destroy all of 935 shows that she doesn't seem to forgive him. Richtofen also seems to be against Maxis in this context; both the Moon and Der Reise radios show that Richtofen was working for the good of humanity when Maxis turned things to weapons production and zombie manufacturing, away from 935's original goals. This would throw us a bit of a curve ball as followers of the story, since it would mean that Sam was trying to help our heros, but not necessarily richtofen, this whole time. The zombies themselves would have been controlled by Maxis attempting to stop Richtofen at every turn, but the mystery box and powerups were gifts from Sam, who was trying to stop her father. Upon switching bodies with Sam, Richtofen was able to gain access to the aether and attempt to use its power to twart Maxis further, with sam switching into his body. Maxis knew that this would ultimately mean his zombie armies had failed, which is why he put in place the failsafe missiles on Griffin Station which would create him a zombie army of the entire enslaved planet.

    Ummm... Dweller

my posts are always so good that they should count for 5 posts, yet here I am
  19. I won't question your timeline (I haven't seen the trailers, I got into WaW long after the final map pack was released), but I very much believe the radios from Call of the Dead are from Call of the Dead, not Der Reise. There is no other map with transported radios, as far as I know, and since many of them aren't even on the ship (as well as supply caches outside the ship) I do not think they arrived from a simple shipwreck. Call of the Dead would also have its own teleportation facility, hence the ability to teleport out once the Golden Rod was acquired. I do not think Griffin Station is the only 935 facility developed by Richtofen, with or without Maxis's knowledge. I believe Call of the Dead was one such facility, but there are probably others which will be featured in future Zombie maps as well.
  20. I don't think the group was sent to rescue Tank. He would have been captured in Verruckt, and the experiments on him (along with Takeo and Nikolai, for that matter) done on a mobile 935 command center. Based on the timeline that I've constructed, the creation of the zombie army didn't take place until Nazi interference with 935, and Richtofen did not begin DG-2 development until that time. The DG-2 was developed at the same time as the teleporter technology was being perfected, and Richtofen had done his teleportation to the moon and began construction of Griffin Station. The radios at Call of the Dead show that they were located in that ship attempting to collect the Golden Rod for Richtofen's Grand Scheme, with the other heros still in stasis. I believe they were headed to Shi no Numa.
  21. get angry and trying to troll box spammers will get you nowhere. When I get into a game, the main concern is opening up doors to Juggernog first. Box spammers will generally not cooperate in this task, since they are opening towards the box (especially annoying in Kino if the box is before the theatre, or Call of the Dead when it is somewhere around the lighthouse). You will end up having to open doors yourself. No way around that. You probably also won't get a wunderweapon, since they will have had many more chances than you. What it comes down to is simply trying to be a good teammate and a great zombies player. If you troll them, they will quit, ruining the game. I've played with several box spammers that turn into great teammates past round 15, they don't spam the box because they're being dicks, they just do it because it happens to be part of their playing strategy. More power to 'em if you ask me, I don't need that crap to survive. If they do, then best they get it to keep everyone standing. What I do is look at round 1-13 as one game, and round 13-? as an entirely different game. If we go down early because teammates are being selfish pricks, then I will simply leave and join a new game hating them forever. If we survive past round 13 (which is easy enough) and they turn into valuable teammates, which does frequently happen, then I am happy to return the favor and join them to the best of my ability.
  22. I've been snubbed again. Good on ya, though.
  23. good song except for the screaming
  24. Those excuses are nonsense. Sitting in a lobby without readying is just incredibly annoying to everyone looking for a game. Its equally annoying for people who don't ready up until a certain number of others ready, because it just causes polish traffic jams of nobody reading because they're idiots.
  25. looks like a total ripoff combination of Zombies and F3AR's survival mode (which is a ripoff of zombies in and of itself)
