  1. yes, flopper would do more damage, the problem is when your last crawler when you show up and you blow him up unexpectedly
  2. PaP was hardest at its first debut.
  3. yea, I think they did that because of how quickrevive works. It does count in WaW, though. See ya in an hour
  4. none of my solo ones counted, which is why I asked
  5. meh, if he was spinning around and whatever, I think he was just very close to the teleporter and ported up without realizing it
  6. I remember someone saying that at some point, I could be wrong. Maybe its just my inner hatred of glitchers showing.
  7. thats cool, I'm still working my way through veteran campaign so no rush. I sound younger than I am, just as a warning
  8. discussing what could have happened is fine, but glitching is against the rules here
  9. could it house the Golden Banana?
  10. yes I know what you mean, I normally call it sheparding/grouping. Good not just for conserving ammo, but it keeps the zombies in one place, giving you more room to move around. We're even both from chi-town. So I'll be home at 5, if you want me send me a message.
  11. I go up the lighthouse and buy the sickle before power or jug. More points. If you're with 2 people doing a record run, then your strategy is a bit wonky. Instead, I would get Jugg, quick revive, Stamin-up, and deadshot for both people, then knife george to death every 2 rounds until you have all the perks. This has the additional benefit of leaving both players with a wunderwaffe. Then both players "kite" (as you call it) near max spawns of zombies, fry them, and repeat. Hitting the box for better guns once you have your first 4 perks is a good way to keep you safe once the zombies are all spawned. I have never run out of ammo with the Waffe, a max always seems to drop before I hit my last magazine. The 2 spots I would use are the 2nd floor of the lighthouse and the back of the ship (end of the zip line, at the box spawn point). This is because if the person on the ship goes down, zipping down to revive them is easy. If the person in the lighthouse goes down, the horde will go up the lighthouse and zip down, giving a clear path to run in to save the day. Either way, you can't revive with the Waffe out, so you'd have to discharge all your ammo en route to save the day anyway, so I don't think there will be much in your way. If you don't want to use the Waffe, or don't like the ship, the area outside the lighthouse is also perfect for PHD flopping if you want to conserve ammo at the later rounds. There are no traps, so getting kills the later you go is going to be tedious without the flopper or wunderwaffe. But if you're looking for sustainability, I always recommend the Skullcrusher (upgraded M-16). You will make enough points back with it to buy ammo, and it comes with a grenade launcher with 9 grenades. Its too powerful to normally use (I don't know the exact damage, but I'm pretty sure its the most powerful explosion by a decent margin), but with flopper you don't take the explosive damage so that isn't important. Do private matches count towards your high scores on the leaderboards? I'm free tonight and I'd love to play, I will be home in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Send me a message, my LIVE ID is in the sig. I can play it your way or mine.
  12. really? I'd say thats the easiest map.
  13. Chrome Guns are sick. I want. Reminds me of BLACK actually, the Chrome guns had infinite ammo
  14. ^your sig is kind of sweet and I didn't know that the other maps would have the zombies maps or I would have certainly picked them up; zombies is the #1 reason why I bought Black Ops in the first place (if I wanted the multiplayer, I would have just stuck with MW2. I only prestiged once). Releasing it in the shop would earn a fair chunk of change for no extra work, so I think it will be done eventually. But probably not until after the last Map Pack.
  15. I just want them to release the WaW zombie maps on the marketplace :(
  16. perhaps not, but it is an underlying current for most of the game, and clearly underlined "steps" are pretty nifty with the easter egg. If they do line up, it helps show what is next in the list each time
  17. because they are clearly labeled steps with very large significance
  18. I just get a crawler at the end of the round, have everybody buy the sickle, and chop away until he is dead. It takes a while, but its cheap. I do this every time on solo so I get all 7 perks, I chop him down every time the wunderwaffe runs out of ammo
  19. ^ye of little faith. The lines are too straight and neat to just be a texture pattern I tried shooting it with a scavenger, nothing. I dunno, I would like to keep investigating this
  20. The wonderwaffle isnt a regular drop. If you feel the need to cheat, then your only cheating yourself. What would the point of doing a knife only challenge and using the wonderwaffle. Its pointless to even try, if you are going to do that. Its not a cheat when it is directly within the rules you set forth. If you're counting it out, then count it out. Still, it would be pretty easy. Once you get max spawn, slashing enemies down one at a time means that the whole horde is in the same place at the same time, killing them one at a time means they aren't going to be appearing behind you. Faster and probably more difficult to survive if you're allowing flopper
  21. these "forum dwellers" are being dicks
  22. meh, there are some threads that really should be sticked for that (like ones detailing all the steps for the easter egg)
  23. shouldn't be too hard to get far, actually. I knife until I get the sickle as it is, once I get the sickle I would stack up perks, then knife george to death (done it several times already), grab a wunderwaffe (its a drop, so its legit), and kick ass.
  24. because a moderator specifically said:
