Can't put a vote. Both BO and MW2 have all the right ingredients. Just take the ones that don't belong out and you have the best CoD multiplayer by far.
-
I'll probably wait for Christmas if the SP is good but the MP is like MW2's.
-
I said this exact thing on a similar thread on taking Taks out of the gang.
-
Nah, the Wunderwaffe is responsible for getting them to Kino. It's 115 boosted the teleporter's power, ripping space-time into Kino. Wunderwaffe only comes to CotD after they teleport to Paradise. And also, the Gersh teleports to random locations, and Richtofen came to CotD on purpose. The wunderwaffe was never destroyed...although Richtofen maybe constructing something, but not a new DG-2.
-
Here's what I think... From the SNN easter egg: The DG-2 ripped space time continuum in order to shoot the gang through time into Kino. I think the Wunederwaffe got stuck into the Aether until they teleported out of CotD, which gave the DG-2 that little boost to portal out of the Aether and popped into CotD. What do you think?

But Takeo does have a bigger role than many think. When Richtofen erased hes, Dempsey's, and Nikolai's memories, Takeo actually retained his, so soon enough we'll see Takeo getting a spotlight of his own. Were is it stated or implied that Takeo has retained his memory? He implies he retains his memories in a few PAP quotes in Ascension. "I think Dempsey is like a goose. He wake up in new world every day! I do not think he remembers ANYTHING from before." "Nikolai's presence brings me dishonor. He tries to drown his past. It will consume him one day. I do not think he remembers ANYTHING." "Richtofen...his evil is great. But not as great as what we fight today. One day, when the time is right, I will make him PAY for what he has done!" The caps show Taks' emphasis when he says those words.

Guys, I have proof Retaliation isn't a glitch. But it IS indeed the next map pack. And it was with us from the start. The Beta was named "First Strike", and now apparently Escalation is named "Retaliation". I really do think this is the next map pack. But there's a link to Zombies as well. In "FIVE", there is a golden plaque on the PAP room (in the right window looking towards the PAP) that reads... "RETALIATION Operation: Sunrise 1962" I'm guessing our gang (Dempsey and them) went back in time into the early 60's. And suggesting by the Operation name, we may just be hitting Japan (NOT SHI NO NUMA AGAIN!) again...or Vietnam. As for Multiplayer, we're going to Nam, baby! Returning to Paradise! Also: I searched this and nothing came up. So...don't flame me.

We have MW2, where you gained attachments and camos by the amount of kills by a weapon. We have Black Ops, where we used cP in order to get things for your weapon, perks, stuff like that. We also got lots of customization like face paints, custom RDS, etc. We also got the equipment slot. One thing important is Scavenger no longer resupplies under-barrel attachments, equipment, or launchers. Considering Black Ops is completely different from MW2, a lot of the community still plays MW2 because there's things like quick-scoping (or just the fact when you ADS you shot isn't random with a sniper) or Stopping Power. Also: The real assh*les play MW2 cause of the Noobtoob-OMA-DC setup. I've heard Raven in in charge of the MP this year for MW3. Which will they choose? Or will they bravely try to find a medium? Here's my dream MP set-up. Keep the basic cP system, but...keep it like MW2; where you still unlock things by killing with a weapon. But 1 challenge would unlock everything. Example: To get the attachments for [insrt wpn], get 200 kills to unlock all it's attachments (to buy), 125 headshots to unlock it's camos (to buy). Scavenger resupplies flamethrower, under-barrel shotguns, and aircraft-only launchers. Warlord/Bling can use 2 attachments with anything besides the noobtoob. Stopping Power makes it's return. Keep ADS of snipers like in MW2 BUT SoH pro would have a different advantage for snipers (like switching weapons faster). Pump-action only shotguns will be allowed for secondaries. Primaries will be semi auto, no AA-12 (NEVER AGAIN, IW!). Anything I missed? Let me know what your dream MP system is, and what system will MW3 most likely take? I'll be honest and say that it will take MW2's system considering it's a sequel. But then again COD4 and W@W shared the same system, so anything is on the playing-field now.

Hey! Wendle is the same person who has no picture in Kino! I was wondering why that guy had his own cliffhanger.
-
Anyone got a picture of the map? I'm a PS3-er.
-
I see no similarities...can someone point it out for me?
-
Ever notice how he seems more violent in Black Ops than W@W? He's just more cruel.
-
I wanna keep him. "They think Takeo's boring...and, maybe he is...but there always has to be that 1 stale guy to make the others look cooler." -Tank Dempsey

What do you think about the scavenger perk in zombies?
Fu453 replied to XXFNNXX's topic in Call Of The Dead
I got it! Grab the perk, and every round (starting next round)...you get 1 more magazine for the weapon you have currently out...only if you have at least a half magazine left. Considering it'll be easy in the earlier round, make it a high price (3000-3500). It could be great in the higher rounds, but it won't be unbalanced considering in the higher rounds you can burn through a lot of mags and possibly not even finish the round (depending on what gun you have). -
George Romero Must DIE!!!! 2 ways to kill him

Nice video. Also PS3 viewers: PSN COMES BACK UP 1AM GMT! More info on my thread in the PS3 section. -
Welcome to my Theory thread. Grab some crackerjack and enjoy. OK guys, let's get this done. This theory is about the Element 115 and how it relates to the Aether (and vice versa). Let's start from the first signs of 115. Shi No Numa Most of us know this news so I'll make it short. Basically the first signs of 115 was in SNN in a box in the "WARNING" room (could say DANGER tbh I forget) right next to the spawn. Then, within one of the opening sub-areas, you see a rather big meteor that's red and chalk-full of electricity. This is the same electricity from the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Also the same of the Hell-hounds. This electricity is the Element 115. Der Riese Here's where it gets big. This introduces the realm we know as Aether. The first signs of this was right in the spawn, in a message on the wall. Der Riese also introduces teleporters. The message of "Returning through Aether" Was right next to the mainframe, that o which you can ultimately get to by walking or teleporting there. This implies that teleporting brings you to a location through the Aether-realm. Also, the teleporters use Element 115 for a power source. Alright, let's add the storyline into the mix. (FYI this is before the gang visits Der Riese) So Edward Richtofen backstabs Ludving Maxis and Samantha Maxis by locking them in with Fluffy (who was a prior test subject of the teleporters, after testing, she came back a demonic Hell-hound). By this time, the teleporters were nearly complete, and were almost fully functional. When the Maxis' were locked into the room with Fluffy, the teleporter was accidentally activated. With a boost of 115 by Fluffy, the teleporter over-full and shot them into the Aether-realm...permanently. The Aether-realm Here's is my vision of the Aether-realm. Welcome to the Aether-realm. There is no time, no space, no gravity, no nothing. Like the Universe before the Big-Bang, but we'll get to that later. This is where Samantha and Ludving are. Also where every Hell-hound is. (Fluffy was pregnant with puppies before becoming the first Hell-hound) Now you may be asking "How can Samantha, Ludving, and the Hell-hound interact with the real world if they are trapped in the Aether?" Well, it's cause of Element 115. The Element 115 This element is what caused all the trouble. It's why CoDz is here in the first place. It's the source of the zombies' power, the source of the Wunderwaffe, source of everything zombies. It also created the Aether-realm, and by that logic, it can also portal you out of it.115 is how Hell-hounds come to Earth. 1 hell-hound is so full of 115 that it is purely blended within it's blood in it's veins. It's how the Maxis' can interact with the Earth as well. If there's 115, there's Sam nearby. But she doesn't have enough to get out of the Aether-realm. Not only that, but it's how the undead come to life. Also note: Element 115 is on the moon, so that is how Samantha and nearly interact with you every where. Now, here's the twist: Ascension. Ascension This explains why out of no-where zombies arrived in Ascension. The Ascension group was full of Nazi scientists who helped Russia to try to get to the moon before America. Little did we know, Ascension group wasn't just trying to get to the moon, they were trying to perfect the one thing Group 935 couldn't do: perfect teleportation. "But there isn't signs of 115 anywhere in Ascension besides the moon." ORLY NOW? get ready, cause here's the slap in the face you never saw coming. The Gersh Device Bam. The Gersh Device was the Cold War era's version of the teleporter. Think about it. How else could you teleport when you dive into it? Obviously cause of 115. The Ascension group was perfecting the teleporter not only by trying to actually make it work, but also making it portable. What they didn't know as of it's side effects of the device...making the living dead. They were innocent. They were just trying to make life easier. But then Samantha possessed Yuri to push Gersh into the Aether through the Gersh Device.. Also, this is how we help Gersh out in the easter egg in Ascension: Through the Gersh Device, everything you shoot into the device goes into Aether-realm, and created enough 115to boost him out of it. Every weapon you shot into it was Pack-a-Punched/had 115 in it."But then why does the Gersh Device kill zombies if it makes them?" Well, here's another slap to the face. The Big Bang Here it is. "But why? Why would the creation of the universe have to do anything with this?" Exactly. You answered your own question. That meteor from SNN was full of 115, which made the Aether-realm. The Aether-realm is full of nothing. What was full of nothing? EVERYTHING BEFORE THE BIG BANG! 115 is the ingredient of Aether, and Aether is the very left overs of the Big Bang. Aether-realm is a different universe...inside our universe. I know, I'm not making any sense. But that's why I'm not making any sense. Why? Because there's one question no-one can answer: What made the Big Bang, anyway? ELEMENT 115! CONCLUSION Yes, I barely make sense in the end. But that's why it makes sense. The Big Bang and Element 115 were made for each other...literally. Basically, if one didn't exist, the other wouldn't as well. It creates a loop for eachother to create themselves. But because Group 935 f*cked around with 115, they made the Aether-realm., so the Universe as we know it is at stake. That is why there's no end in sight. There is none. The only way to cease the Zombie Apocalypse is to destroy the universe with another Big Bang. And to start all over again. ...you still there? Any questions? Thoughts? I'm free to answer anything.

I'd check to see if it can happen again, but I'm a PS3 owner, sorry. Seems like something to take advantage of, though.
-
So basically you had an infinite downed timer?
-
I'm a little confused... So you got frozen, then downed. And you never died? Just be a little more specific. It sound good.

What do you think about the scavenger perk in zombies?
Fu453 replied to XXFNNXX's topic in Call Of The Dead
Meh...if there wasn't difficulties in the balancing, why would they have canceled it's debut? -
That radio isn't for CotD it's for Kino.
-
Nah, Shi no Numa was the original gang's first encounter with zombies. In Ascension, one of Tank's quotes while waiting for the Pack-a-Punch is something along the lines of "I don't like Richtofen. I think I've seen him before Shi No Numa. Matter of fact, I don't really remember anything before that."

What do you think about the scavenger perk in zombies?
Fu453 replied to XXFNNXX's topic in Call Of The Dead
There would have to be a whole bunch of rearranging in order to balance it out. I think it'd just be better if we left that alone. -
JUST WANNA SAY sorry if people know this already. I've searched and found nothing, so don't flame on me. In the spawn there's the 2 by the stairs and 1 by the teddy. But did you know there was another in the cage right next to that one? Again, sorry if this is old news. -Fu
