they should release 2 games, one as a fps war game and the other as a zombies only game, both full price. I would get both cause that would just mean 2 awsome games to add to my collection and would also satisy the picky one-siders. I agree that survival mode is perfect for zombies, so make it that, with map progression and egg finding, you unlock more to the story. Just like how it is now but on one massive map with several main brances that are all obtainable from starting position at the cost of choosing a particular path early in the game and sticking with it for enough rounds to unlock other main areas. If you play long games it would be way better and if you dont play long games you can just pick a different route each time and each main area will have is own course on egg hunts, kindof like an interactive level menu in a way.. just a dream..

When you get to higher rounds, those monkeys can be a game ender for the even the most nimble of zombie horders. They take incredible amounts of damage to kill past round 40 and seem to take perks faster every round. We are mostly all familiar with herding zombies as an effective strategy on all maps, so with with the birth of space monkeys I thought it would be helpful to post our strategies for this particular round type. I haven't gotten to over lvl 30 with more than 2ppl yet so my strategy is focusing on a 2 man party both players with jugg/speed/quick/stam perks. - save up claymores by panting them by your preffered herding locations at the beginning of every round. Once you know monkeys may be next round, save a crawler and plant all claymores around speed cola and staminup. (mokneys will bash them before running into them so it slows them down) - as soon as the monkey round starts activate the 2 fire traps and turret gun near staminup.( this will kill a good few of them) - run to jugg area with one guy guarding from floor ontop of jugg and one guy below it. - use the ray gun or thundergun to kill the monkeys. or run around herding/trapping them cause no other gun will work after round 30something. - throw all the gersch devices you have left cause youll get max ammo. most the time. - jump when they are in the air and you will avoid getting hurt by the shockwave. (this doesnt work if your cornered by several) hope this helps a bit, I look forward to seeing other strategies.

i think it help links the time period together between ascension and five. maybe they were trying to herd up all the zombies into the rocket and send them to the moon where they can continue their experiments in a more controlled environment but it all went wrong cause richtofen became greedy for points and ended up killing some zombies then they spawned in wierd places and took down almost the whole team but luckily they were able to crawl to the lander where dempsey revives them all. On their way back to the starting position with no points and just pistols..and so begins Ascension. dear lord,, you see what a 10 hour game of zombie can do to you?!

all 4 wonder weapons would over power the zombies to the point it would be boring,, its already too easy in my opinion. although it would be perfect if it worked in the way that you only get to pick 2 of the wonder weapons, once you pick the wunderwaffe, you will not be able to get the tundergun,, once you get ray gun the winters howl wont come up.. that seems fair i think. and im glad they removed ammo-matic, not exactly sure what it does but it would take out any round to round ammo usage strategies if you could just fill up whenever.

darnit! but some say their will be an update after the dlc launches for pc/ps3 that will extend the egg hunt.. but i doubt this means adding actual structure to the map.. sniffle

When you get to the Pack-A-Punch with the death machine...
putzee replied to xStopDropNKillx's topic in Ascension
a very good point. I hope they do add more for the sake of all users. It would suck if i had ps3 and had no opportunity to find new things, but i still dont think activision cares about that at all. I know Treyarchs heart is in the right place,, they put alot of detail into the scenery on the map, so much that i still wonder if things on old maps do something that ppl haven't found yet. but in the end they are just obeying commands, and high hopes for their maps turn out to be functionless esthestics. im keeping my fingers crossed.. again.. -
When you get to the Pack-A-Punch with the death machine...
putzee replied to xStopDropNKillx's topic in Ascension
its not shaking cause the lander is going by? has anyone tried to shoot all the batteries with death machines? i really hope an already familiar power-up extended for a few seconds and given to all 4 players isn't treyarchs idea of a good ending, cause that sucks balls. deep down inside i know that activision loves the idea of putting a minor spin on something they sold us before, and calling it epic. we need to face the facts. there are not loads of easter eggs in the new map or on any of the maps. there are a few, yes, but this is common for almost every game. unlockable secrets and bonuses are what we crave. not dumb f**king easter eggs that do nothing more than play a sound clip that may or may not have anything to do with the story, regardless, i could care less.. untill someone finds anything cool in any of the maps that is actually worthwhile than it back. activision doesnt care about this stuff. unless the creators can squeeze it in, under budget. activision will never give us anything new and exciting unless it is clearly advertised. these words are so true you can eat off them.. uhh whatver u know what i mean.. -
i am desperate to get to that other landing pad that is off to the side from packapunch, only visible from a flying lander. There is an alleyway streching from speed-cola lander to it. ne way i wanna know what other people think about this. you MUST be able to get there. maybe there are more spare parts to get with the gersch device or something.?

i searched the forum and couldnt find a number of how many radios ppl have found. i found 6 with my friend and noticed that some dont appear untill after you get the first ones. like in a sequence, we hoped for a 7th to pop up after we got 6 of them but found nothing. We found these ones maybe someone else found others? 1. starting area with spinning thing, right between some things by the lower window next to quick revive. 2. one by the lander pad near stamin-up, onthe lower self of a caged rack. 3. left of the stairs leading to Phd flopper landinf pad 4. by packapunch on a pipe over the railing 5. right next to speed cola and russian doll 6. right next to staminup, behind a concrete slab. we know radios 4 and 5 must be found in sequence after 1,2, and 3. but we never found radio 6 before so were not sure if it shows up right away or after another is found. please tell me there are more.. please tell me treyarch doesnt consider a few radios, useless rusian dolls and a couple neat steps leading to death machines count as "loads" of new secrets to find. cause that was easy.. same with kino, nothing cool, just dumb easter eggs... so far ne way. BTW: wheres my WUNDERWAFFE!!!!!!

Man, this helps make sense of it all.. i really hope the creators were as imaginative as the players are.. brain

try individually, she says 115 6 times right? maybe thats seperate times. has anyone ever had every trap going at once, im not even sure how many they are? 6 possibly? or shoot all power boxxes with all traps runnig each with a diff 115 weapon.. uggh im just rambling now..

i dont think the cosic silverback is all that crazy of an idea. I actually played with good headphones on for the first time and it really does sound like one big beast on the roof, also i was the japanese guy at the time and he said "sounds-a-like-a big-a monster on the roof!" or something like that. There are individual pounds on the roof causing rubble to fall down. The nova 6 crawlers do appear before the power is turned on and if you look in the barrels, they clearly were there the whole time. A gorrilla is a little silly and of-topic, so maybe its super-mutant Samantha?
-
maybe something relates to the actual Sam and Max comics. They seem to be quite an influence on these treyarch guys.. just a wild guess
-
this is just a crazy idea but maybe the 3 players can down themselves in the teleporter and the 4rth guy hit the switch. If timed properly u might be able to die in the rooms..maybe..

15000 isnt that much to spend trying to get something outta the box.. me n a friend spent nearly 100,000 trying to get the thundergun once.. no joke. the box can be a beetch. and lag isnt all that uncommon in a 4 party game. just sayin..
-
Has anyone tried having all 3 players die and the 1 remaining guy proceed to the next round? maybe something happens at new round start with all 4 players alive again. There must be more reference in the song or on the map somewhere.. i'll be digging

Anyone know what happens when you... (+ A easter Egg)
putzee replied to Dayshadow26's topic in Kino Der Toten
i have been looking everywhere for an answer about this and may have found it on my own.. theres more than the papers in the theatre, atleast 6. there are also 6 garbage bags in the alley. hey,, wait isn't there 6+1 fuseboxes.. when will we figure it out... -
OK, so me and a friend were trying to beat record on Kino but kinda got side tracked on round 11, keeping a crawler alive for some time while we searched out little conspicuous things around the map of Kino Der Toten. We ended up breaking up a bunch of destructable items such as the stacks of paper, garbage bags and power boxes. We did notice that there were 6-7 of everthing, i know there are 7 boxes including the green one, but we didnt keep exact count of the paper stacks or garbage bags but i know there are atleast 6 of both. Also we each had opportunity to destroy all bags and papers as they would still be visible for you if your buddy knifes one apart. So we each destroyed them all. a majority of the power boxes were done on round 11 with power on as well but i think i hit the one in the main lobby right from round 1 start. Insane amounts of power ups were dropping from the next round on until we died on round 38!! We were getting 2 of the same power ups dropping at once, we were getting several '2x' powerups each round along with all the max ammo you need. I think we went like half a round without machine gun ammo in the mid 30's but we each had 100k+ at the time so it didnt even matter. Instakills were plentiful to say the least and that nuke was almost a constant presence.. not to mention the firesales dropping 2 at a time on occasion, which i dont really understand why thats possible but whatever eh. Anyway, i apologize that i didnt keep track of much details, but hopefully you people can recreate this. I will be trying for sure.. btw i know my zombies and i know when thers just way too many power ups to be chance. Oh ya i forgot to mention that getting ANYTHING good from the box was out of the question after we did this. Luckily we already had rpk's and ,ugghh, ray guns.. We tried to get the thundergun for about 100 spins and gave up after seeing those pesky shotguns roll around for the gazillienth time. Just something we noticed.. HOPE ALL HELPS!
