The "Wunder-ful" Wunder-Weapon Discussion!
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Research & Development
Combining guns could generate 100's of new guns!! I've always thought that's be a pretty sweet idea. It'd be Treyarchs way of introducing COMPLETELY new guns without having to be historically accurate But there'd be a way to simply upgrade guns too, correct? Because I assume that when you combine some guns, their product may not be awesome. Like if you wanted to go upgrade/combine because your Wunderwaffe is out of ammo and your other gun is a pistol, by fusing those two guns the new product might not be as strong as say the Wunderwaffe because the pistol dumbed it down. Just like any upgraded gun, some fusions may not necessarily be as 'adequate' as others. But I really like this. WUNDERWAFFE + Ray gun FTW Multiple upgrading has always been a concern shared by me and other members of the community. When it'd be nice to create such strong weapons, and be able to go and replenish the ammo of a gun by upgrading it again- think of the repercussions: -If guns could get even stronger than they are now, that means to balance it out the Zombies would have to be even STRONGER, and the rate they'd get stronger would be a lot faster than it is now. -Players that aren't too good at zombies would have a really hard time getting enough points to buy these stronger guns, by round 20 it'd be impossible for them to stay alive without a Wunderweapon or level 2-3 upgraded gun. It'd be unfair for them, Treyarch wouldn't try to play with Darwinism when it came to zombie mode and attracting a bigger crowd, etc. I just like it to be equal for everyone no matter their skill level, bigger and better guns shouldn't just be given to the bugger and better players. Sorry if this seemed like I was smashing your idea down, it's swell and all, maybe they could include it in one map to give it a 'test drive' =] -

The "Wunder-ful" Wunder-Weapon Discussion!
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Research & Development
Ya kidding me? Thats ALL you have to say! The flamethrower truly was a marvel for window posts. I loved it upgraded! It was the best thing that ever happened to ammo saving!! I like the idea of accurate being rewarded, but zombies run and dodge, jerk and dive, and players get hit and their aim gets thrown off. A zombie is getting near you and its do or die with the one wunderweapon shot and you miss the head and hit the body- zombie lives- you get downed- swear at game and vow to never pick up that gun again. I just dont think theres enough support for such a gun with that much liability :/ That sounds like some heated entertainment -
Samantha as a playable character
killerussian replied to flxdl's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Samantha is the heart and soul (literally) of Zombies. She is ALWAYS going to be a part of the Nazi Zombie story. You're not going to play in Samantha's body (initially), but certainly you will at one point or another play AS Samantha. The game will most likely include 2 new initial starter maps as it did with Blacks Ops I, one will be a further continuation (progression) of the Nazi Zombie storyline (as Kino was) and this will most likely offer further evidence and explanation of the events that occurred after the Moon incident. Then there'll be another non-linear map (as Five was) that'll include another group of characters, maybe a group that includes this girl in the poster, that'll connect to the story further on down the road! There's no way they wouldn't further elaborate what happens after Richtofen takes control of the power seat. Easter Eggs like that don't just pop out of existence, they ALWAYS affect the story just like all the collected Eggs did on moon. What happened on Moon will effect all maps from here-on out, especially the Samantha/Richtofen and earth in a blaze scenario. Believe it. -
Co-op Medic weapons or equipment
killerussian replied to Night582's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I like the idea of having a more conventional way of reviving teammates other than just upgrading the ballistic knife, but I feel changing something so basic and traditional, you really risk messing with the core experience of the game we used o know and love That G3ttem Up gun sounds like a pretty good idea. I think that should be an equipment item though, like a reversed Gersh device (instead of sucking in it pushes out in all directions) Inverted Gersh? Oscillating Majesty? -
Please change this in black ops 2!
killerussian replied to selectyeti89's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Pause option should be made available in Private matches, not in public, end of story. It wouldn't hurt anybody, and if you're in a private match it'll most likely be with some group of friends so pausing it once in a while wouldn't be an issue. Maybe it'd work if EVERYBODY hits the pause button as to act as consensus instead of just allowing the host to control everybody else's experience. -
I feel like those catacombs would be too Shangri-La-esque. Catacombs are VERY narrow passageways that don't allow for much elbow room room. The idea is fun and exciting and dramatic but unrealistic- However evidence does point to the Paris map, so I delightfully await for that =]

Black Ops 2 Limited Edition: Zombies
killerussian replied to jc18378's topic in General Zombies Discussion
If they did that I would like to believe it would be free for all versions of the game. I personally wouldn't like to pay extra for DLC I could easily play on another game. In WaW we all had to pay for those map packs. Then in BO, if you didn't buy the Special Edition of the game you would then have to pay for those old maps AGAIN. If they come out with Black Ops II and expect you to pay for all those maps again I will blow Treyarch up. If there's a Black Ops Limited Edition it better include ALL of the previous maps from Verruckt (WaW) all the way to Moon (BO) and I expect them all to be remastered and revamped just like they did with verruckt, Nacht, Shi no Numa and Der Riese. -

Elena Siegman. Will She Return In Black Ops 2?
killerussian replied to ZombicidalManiac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
She better. It wouldn't be the same without her. That's like watching Spongebob without the "ARE YOU READY KIDS?!" It's unnatural and disgusting to not. -
Date of Black Ops II Zombies setting found? *MUST READ*
killerussian replied to Jolteon's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm in my phone so I can't really pu up a link, but Lamia did say in an interview that you can find in YouTube (the 30 minute one) that 1/3 of it will be in past- just to reassure you they're not making it up. -

I really like that idea of having an attached Ray Gun! It would of course have to have a seperate clip that is unrelated to the main gun's ammo just like the wave gun from Moon did. -
What would you perfer to see in the next zombies:
killerussian replied to bbobs2's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I didnt like the napalm shriker zombies, but i think George Ramero was an acceptable addition. there are only these 'special class' zombies on some certain maps, maps that were designed to be slightly more challenging than the others. im positive that boss zombies wont be included in ALL the maps, but in some still. Besides i would HATE it if all maps were the same. I loove it when -- and im sure mostly everyone else does too-- when Treyarch makes unique maps with certain aspects that are only available in that specific map. And thats ranging from wunderweapons, teleportation, special devices (gersh, black holes, monkey) AND specialty zombies. Usually the harder maps that include those boss type zombies have the better guns too plus boss zombies force players to think on their feet instead of just saying in the beginning "okay we're all going to pussy camp here until round six hundred and a million!" its nice how they force you players to get pushed out of you comfort zone -_- -
This is a prime example of why Treyarch is the most intuitive corporation when compared to its competitors. My friends and I had actually only just begun talking about repetitivethe Call of Duty's have been getting lately. This is perfect timing on Treyarch's part to upset the previously failing status quo and save Call of Duty reputation before it fell down the shotter for good.

The Reason Why Zombies Attack Us
killerussian replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
More topic related, however, now that Samantha is no longer in control of her own body and no longer possesses any power she will continue to do all she can to kill Richtofen. Since she never wanted to harm the group this explains how the story will continue. The entire group is now fully aware of everything and now they all have a common enemy/goal. Samantha wants to rest in peace, and the other three want to save the world from Richtofen. If they can put Samantha back in power, once Richtofen is gone forever along with the rest of group 935, she will stop her attacks on the earth. -
The Reason Why Zombies Attack Us
killerussian replied to xXExpertCoahXx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Maxis and Samantha were both teleported out of Der Riese by Richtofen, when they were teleported the teleportation machines werent fully 100% operational (as was evident from other radio transmissions) and it is believed they were both killed, but Samantha somehow was sent to Aether which is where she now resides. I want to know how she got into that pyramid. Is that really her body or just her soul/spirit somehow fabricated out of Aether by the use of the same technology that Richtofen uses to swtich bodies with Samantha? Where do all the zombies come from? Element 115 originated from a meteor that crashed into earth, its was known as the Tungusten (totally spelled wrong) event. Samples were semt back to Der Riese for further analysis. In its regular state radiation emitted from the meteor and from the elements core. They figured out how to put it into a liquid form amd began running tests on people. They discovered that the element was capable of reanimating dead cells which thus created the zombies. Ever wonder why when you kill one zombie 20 more appear the next round? Once the carriee body is killed (again) the radiation continues to emit from the body and soaks itself into the ground and infects other dead body amd brings them back to life. -
The "Wunder-ful" Wunder-Weapon Discussion!
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Research & Development
Yes, I would like to see a new type of Wunder weapon with the likes of something we've never seen before. The shotgun woul be a prime example of that. I'd REALLY like to see a brand spanking new type of gun- we've had ice, electric, wave power, 'thunder' power, shrink, and explosive. A pulse gun sounds like a real fun time, even a portal gun, or in 'imploding' gun that sucks in zombies. I'm just throwing around ideas. I like hearing about entirely new guns you guys have thought about, names and descriptions, etc. -
Speaking of a weapon discussing thread, it looks like some handsome russian just formed one on the zombie section ;)
-
EDIT: I enjoy hearing about new wunderguns that you guys have come up with. Leave the name and description of your personal wunderweapon! We all know about the Wunder-weapons. They're the piece of the map that everybody looks forward to ascertaining. Everytime a new map pack comes out (in this case, new GAME) one of the first questions on people's minds are "which gun will be in this one?" Treyarch made the ingenius move of making the fun blasting ray gun and.keeping it in every map, its sort of become a symbol FOR the zombie mode specifically. However, even more-so genius than that was the introduction of the Wunder-Waffe. To this day i still believe that gun is the most majestic, over powered, fun filled gun to date! Since they introduced it so early in the game, they've come up with substitute wunder guns for new maps so players didnt get bored. Sometimes they did a "wunder-ful" job (thundergun, scavenger) and sometimes they didnt (ice gun, shrink ray) Even though having an overpowered gun can sometimes make things 'not challenging', those über guns are what can make or break a map! I believe that players thrive for the invincible feeling you get when wielding the thunder gun/wunderwaffe because those 2 guns have such immense power its ridiculous. But i do know that some players loved the VR-11 for its tactical use. What kinds of guns would you guys like to see included
-
I agree fullheartedly with this! I looved that they decided to include 2 Wunder weapons in this map, well 3 technically if you include the Wunder-waffe easter egg ;)

Samantha as a playable character
killerussian replied to flxdl's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think that playing as Samantha would be a blast. The characters we've gotten used to usually make us laugh with their sny remarks. I can't imagine what Samanthas's would be. She is now trapped on Earth as a mortal fighting side by side with the characters she's been trying to slaughter. As an omniscient being now being turned human (in Richtofens body) she would have some awesome dialogue going on. She can now feel pain and fear, confusion even- this could all lead to some surprised comments coming from her behalf She's be insanely condescending, a know it all, a diva, or even act as a little girl would in a zombie infested zone. Anyone else agree? -
Note- if you want to skip this next paragraph, simply read what is in bold on the bottom of this post. It basically sums everything up...I understand all your concerns. Most of us were first attracted to Zombies for it's simplicity. The concept was so miniscule that we became quickly addicted to one rule that existed, survive! But by doing the same thing over and over again players can become bored, but we didn't. We continued to do the same cumbersome routine on the same maps. Treyarch isn't just ditching this gameplay that we have become to accustomed to, they're just making new ones to test the waters with. With these new possibly objective bases modes- maps we used to strongly dislike could possibly become our new favorite map! (not saying old maps will be making some type of return) These new game modes won't just give us new rules, there'll be completely new guidelines and standards that we'll have to get used, but that can end up being really cool! Many people hated Five, but say there is a new mode that starts you off with the power on, and the initial points given is say 5000, players could now possibly have a whole lotta fun now instead of waiting 20 minutes to start rolling out the big stuff in normal mode. Do you see where i'm coming from here? They ARE keeping the classic zombie mode. They ARE creating new zombie modes that you DON'T HAVE TO PLAY. The option is there for players who want to play something that's not so cut and dry. THAT'S IT.
