I used to go onto this forum when the previous website existed, but once it was gone i just left and stayed on the callofduty.com forums... So there may be a few intellectuals on that website that offer their opinions and semi-good ideas, but on here, i get real, legitimate answers with actual reasoning and thought behind them, it's so refreshing! So I just wanted to say thanks for being there Codz Community Keep up the good work!

Who do you think will be the most popular new character?
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Call Of The Dead
Haha i really like all your guys reasoning...if this were on callofduty.com people would most likely be giving me the most simple minded answers like "trejo because i like his mustache!" -
Seeing the Undead Romero on round 1?
killerussian replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Call Of The Dead
I definitely just gave you 'Brains' for that one! haha i never even thought about that. Because he is in that scene as a regular human being. It would make perfect sense if something happened that caused him to become infected. Like lets say he fell off the boat and into the infected water. That why on round one he reappers from the surface' transformed' :D -
Who do you think will be the most popular new character?
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Call Of The Dead
Yes, i will enjoy playing as Sarah a lot! Just because you know, she's a big time vampire slayer, so now we add zombie slayer to her resume after this. I also like how she's kind of considered the underdog, even though she's gonna make heads roll I'm not necessarily sure if Trejo is actually going to be able to wield two machetes, or even one for that matter. You know how in kino you can purchase the bowie knife and it replaces your regular knife? Maybe in COTD, you can get the machete from the box, and instead of it acting a gun, it replaces whatever knife you were currently using! -
I've seen sooo many threads on this forum and the callofduty.com forum just filled with people complaining about the characters. GUYS. Are you really so focused on the new characters that you don't even see what a great map Treyarch has given us? This map is going to grant us hours upon hours upon hours of gameplay! If the original cast were used on this map, EVERYONE would love it and say it was the best map ever, this i do not doubt. Accept change, and give some to hobo's...

Seeing the Undead Romero on round 1?
killerussian replied to Mr Dr Prof Richtofen's topic in Call Of The Dead
I'm pretty sure that Romero spawns at the beginning of the game, and he stays there for the duration of the game until he is killed or some other unknown event occurs. He is VERY slow and doesn't even speedwalk, which is why i think Treyarch just has him wonder for the entire map, because he's hard to kill, but very slow. If you get stuck in a room with him, run out and come back later -
Okay people. I have said this so many times now. BUT I find it necessary to post this one last time Call of the Dead was NOT meant to be a continuation of the Nazi Zombie Storyline Progression, but is rather to be considered a 'field testing' map. As you can notice, Treyarch added a whole lot of new features and options which broaden our playing field by immense proportions. Treyarch added all these new things into this 'field testing' map so they could gauge our responses on what we liked and didn't like about the map pack so when it comes time to make the next map pack that will return with our four favorite characters, they'll have an even better idea on what to do with it. They made this map for us to help them create an even better one that bears more significance with the story, that is all it's meant for. None of this stuff is most likely going to be permanent, so chill out, buy the map pack, and play it for yourself before you judge that game. Has Treyarch ever let us done before?? All they do is listen to the community and what it finds best for itself (Five doesn't count...)

I too made a thread about the whiners who simply do not understand the fact that by adding SOO many new features and changes to a map pack, Treyarch will now be able to attain feedback from the community on what was a good addition and what made it less desirable. Maybe by adding a boss man like George, people will like the extra challenge in having to defeat him. Of course everyone isn't going to be in complete love with this map, but that's why they created this FOR FUN map, to test out things so when it's time to create the next step in the nazi zombie story progression, the map will be ideal to the players needs and expectations

I respect your stance that you are choosing to take on your view of this new map pack, but don't you think you should at least give it a chance? You watched the Trailer, but did you watch the Inside Xbox video? in it has a lot more material that wasn't covered in the trailer. By making this map pack treyarch is able to generate a response from the zombie playing community on what was a good addition and what they should not include in the next zombie map. I recently made a thread about this, but Treyarch finally grew some balls and decided to be ambitious enough to make SOO many new yet rapid changes to a map that is sure to either enrage hardcore gamers, or make them fall in love with its' new features. I say don't knock it until you try it, trailers are trailers..you're not actually there playing them yet

(i just posted this forum on callofduty.com/blackops and am now posting it here just to see if people are using the same train of thought on this forum as on the official Call of duty site) I'm not one to judge, but many of you are not even going to give this map a chance. Yes there are new characters which bear no relevance to the progression of the Nazi Zombie story, but this map looks insanely new (obvi) and is full of innovative ideas. Sure its very large, and there are a lot of new changes, but you can't expect Treyarch to keep making the same ol' map with the same 'survive as long as you can, with no objective or anything. kbye' idea. By creating such a diverse map such as this, they'll be able to attain feedback from the community ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLAYED on what was a good addition and what they should be more weary of to not include next time around. I am very much in support of Treyarch FINALLY growing some balls and being ambitious enough to make this incredibly different map pack. Sure Der Riese was by far the best map due to its insanely perfect checks and balances, but this map allows more ideas and creativeness and own player intention to be applied to the game, i think thats something to applaud treyarch for doing! From everything from the new ways of getting around, to the large open space, to the snipers and new wunderweapon and boss, this is finally giving us gamers a chance to play just as we want to! And from what the Nazi game dev said, you can blow things up using different guns. Did you not catch that? You are possibly now able to change the environment by possibly causing a cave in, or opening up a new section of the map. How can you not be open to this new concept of Zombies?

In the video that was about 5 mins long, around 3:40 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO_Z-gu880I) the players screen began to frost over very quickly, and there seemed to be a large sum of oil that was surrounding the player and the machine-- Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on what this might be? also, around the 3:30 mark, the guy who is narrating the scene with George says that 'there's something for the people who have the instinct to kill 'em, go for it, it's going to work out in the end' George runs around with a thunder type hammer weapon, does anyone think that if you kill him, the player who killed him is then able to pick up that weapon, adding yet another Wunder weapon to your arsenal? Speaking of George, in the video you see that he is there at Round one, i think this supports my theory that George spawns in the beginning of the game, and instead of having a random round where he can appear and run around, they keep him throughout the whole game (seeing as how he is not able to run at a fast pace, but is in fact very slow) until he is killed where hopefully some reward is given. and if you notice the gamer shooting the chaingun at some ice, the ice begins to chip away. So maybe somewhere in the map you are able to cause a cave-in to kill zombies or lock out some spawn points for them. Tell me what you guys think!

Call of The Dead Wonder Weapon Ideas
killerussian replied to Optic Fuzza's topic in Call Of The Dead
I'm REALLY hoping that the Wunderwaffe will make a return in some form. I know it doesn't make sense with the story progression of Nazi Zombies, but a lot of people this map is just another random map just like Five was. (or was it not?) So if it were just for fun, i don't see why it couldn't be included in this installment. And if i'm not incorrect, there were two Wunderwaffes that were made in existence (in the story anyway) and only one of them were destroyed, that means somewhere there should lie another one! --if that one wasn't destroyed that is-- and what better, and secret, place to hide than in the below sub-zero temps of--- umm, i don't recall where this map takes place, but it's snowy and icey, so what better place to hide than a place that's most likely desolate and cold!? If not the wunderwaffe, however, I wouldn't mind seeing a Wunder gun that has something to do with fire. I just don't know how Treyarch could compile that element into a gun though. Seeing as how if anyone remembers from W@W, the flamethrower usually blinded EVERYONE and EVERYONE flamed the guy (ha, get it?) who used it. And if that were to be the case for this instance, i would kind of be like 'what the frack?' but i'm open to just about any idea! -
So only 8 more day im just to excited
killerussian replied to pumping_bullets's topic in Call Of The Dead
Well we can't just base the map off the song that it chosen to represent it...okay maybe we can, but not legitimately! I'm afraid that the 'new zombie experience is going to maybe be something that experienced players will not like. I've been there since day one of Nacht, and i don't mind change obviously, because if everyone wasn't open to SOME change, we wouldn't have any perks, any upgradable weapons, any outdoor-sey kind of stuff, and who wants that? It's just the fact that they used the phrase 'epic zombie experience' that kind of shakes me up. Also in the video, they said they 'can't wait to take the wraps off this zombie map' However the outcome, I have a gut feeling that this map pack will be the Zombie Game Breaker, or Maker -
You are just too mysterious. WE NEED MORE THAN A STILL IMAGE! We need a trailer soon or we're all just going to go crazy. We get you're trying to build up hype (job well done might i add) but I'm pretty sure that the 'hype bar' is at it's maximum right now! So why don't ya toss us a bone and give us a trailer, even if it's just a minute long, or some new screenshots for this --> http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/dlc2 ... creenshots Keep up the good work, if you are actually JD (i just asked you and carbonfibah on twitter for one of you to confirm or deny this...sorry if you're real. Both the callofduty forums and this one tend to have what i call habitual liars...)

This was very informative, thank you! haha i'm often on the callofduty forums and there have been these groups of people posting youtube videos which you need to have the link to view, you can't just search for it, making it more exclusive to the group of people that you want viewing it. and most people called b.s right away, but a lot of them think it's real stuff. Mind you these videos are just black and white images/videos composed of random words and sounds. It's too late to save these people...

A lot of people think that Call of The Dead takes place in Britain. Back on the callofduty website, people are constantly bringing up the wooden panels that are found in Der Riese, the ones that say ENG, FRA and the other two whatever their three letter were. Which is leading people to also believe that there will be a Zombie Map that takes place somewhere in France? Der Riese- German Facility Call of the Dead-- England Light House? (not supportive of this taking place in Britain) Ascension-- Soviet Research/Launch Facility To be announced-- France I'm not sure if i believe any claims anyone has been making about the next map pack, "oh it's going to be on the moon, it has to be!" ^umm. Not even close buddy If there were to be a zombie map on the moon, then that better be the conclusion of Nazi Zombies. It would make much sense though, considering that in the story of Nazi Zombies, once you kill a zombie, their body begins to decompose back into the ground, along with pieces of Element 115 that were inside the undead's body. and was the element seeps (is that how you spell it?) back into the soil, it'll reach another dead body, reanimating it and causing to come back to life, which explains why once is killed, more and more keep coming back. And if this were to take place on the moon, why on earth (or should i say) Why on the moon would there be dead bodys underneath its rock hard surface?!

I finished the Power Nodes! (7th node tutorial) *VIDEO*
killerussian replied to xStopDropNKillx's topic in Ascension
Is this a rhetorical statement or a real question? I've been up for hours studying different forums and websites, everyone seems to be stuck on the same thing. I personally think that the doors with the chains and cement blockade in front of them can not be opened. I think that the idea is nice and what not, but its highly realistic that the end of the easter egg would be located there, in that process.
