I do believe in the theory that says the wave gun is two seperate guns once ascertained from the box, and once you Pack-a-punch it, it turns into one gun, or vice versa. The guns that were being duel wielded (duel weld?) looked VERY similar to te guns that seem to make up the wavegun
-
I think it's like that, but vice versa
-
Also- I think there is fluctuating gravity on the base. At times you can see players running, but every other scene returning was extremely slowed And a ps- does anyone think there's gonna be a new power-up?
-
Did anyone else notice how sometimes the players had their helmet on, then other times they didn't?
-
If you go to the new video and skip to 1:23, you see a duel-wielded gun. Does anyone else notice how the two guns look like the bigger wave gun, except the guns are detached?? I'm not quite sure if that is the Wave Gun or not. Now if you skip to 2:32, you can see a larger gun that I would actually venture a guess is the the wave gun. But that leaves the duel wields to be explained...

Has anyone ever considered that the focusing stone was meant to be used to help teleport them to the moon? The teleporters have delivered them to different locations and times on earth, and then the map after you find the focusing stone, they go directly to the moon where they find the 'space-age weaponry'.

I believe when you say 'suped up shotgun' you're referring to an upgraded Pack-a-punched shotgun? The Scavenger is a controversial gun because people don't know whether to consider it a Wunderweapon or simply an exclusive to the map gun. It was only included in Call of the Dead I believe because of the immense size and open-ness of the map. Most people believe the VR-11 to be the official (yet incredibly sucky) Wundergun Then the last 10% of the people dont even consider the VR-11 to be a real gun. They simply view it as a pre-requisite for getting the Wunderwaffe If you're looking for an exclusive 'suped up shotgun' I'd consider you deeming the thundergun as a shotgun do to it 'no need to aim' qualities
-
You know. That's actually a very plausible idea! The only thing I could think of to reject that theory is when we would run through the gersch, it would only send us to another part of the map.. And in Moon the zombies look like they were once workers on the station (you can tell by their space looking uniforms) and/or astronauts. But very adequate 'thinking outside the map' style of thinking =]

You sure that isn't some body of water? -
I'm sorry but this is WRONG. Element 115 is a real element in REAL life. It came from a meteorite that was known as the Tungusten (misspelled) event. The meteorite actually landed in an area that looks VERY similar to the map Shi No Numa. From that point on, everything that happened to samples taken, was all rumor and legend and old stories that people thought of, or claimed to have happened. I don't remember who got to the meteor first to extract the element, or how much was extracted. But it did eventually end up in the Factory of Der Riese. There the radiation from the meteor was liquified into a physical (yet liquid) component. From then on they started experimenting with the element. Eventually, so many tests later, they found that the element begun reanimating dead body cells. So in a sense, zombies originated from the Factory. UNLESS, from the moment the meteor landed, the radiation soaked itself into the ground and immediately begun bringing the dead back to life. Have you ever thought why every round are there more and more zombies? It's because since the zombie is full of the element and its radiation continues to emit from the body even after death, the radiation will begin to soak into the ground once again and continue infecting the dead bodies, which explains why you kill 10 zombies, 25 more show up.

"1oS: Are there other new weapons this time around? Any new gameplay mechanics? JZ: This game mode is all about discovery. Whether our characters discover new weapons in the various places they visit is dependent on where they go. Same can be said for gameplay mechanics — the location dictates how you play. Ever been to the moon?" This quote was taken from the interview between 1os and Jimmy Zilenski (the main Zombie Dev) I'm surprised that this statement hasn't sparked too much discussion among the forums on CoDz. There are two halves to this message- 1 being about discovering new weapons by going and exploring the map and it's different locations 2- being about the gameplay mechanics depending where you are in the map (which can be anything from Gravity, to speed, environment changes, etc) The Second part is pretty conclusive information that can lead us to decide that there will be different parts of the map that will change the way we need to play at the time. And when i say that, i mean more things to take into consideration. If it's a higher gravity level, it means you'd have to take into consideration that you may be slower than normal so be careful not to be caught off guard Maybe there's a location like in Call of the Dead and it's freezing water effect. If you stay in a certain place too long maybe you'll become frozen or downed or something along those lines. The most interesting and peculiar part of this statement is the first half "This game mode is all about discovery. Whether our characters discover new weapons in the various places they visit is dependent on where they go." This message is special because it's obvious that in every map, the farther to the center of the map that you go to, the stronger the weapons get. But by saying this, it means that there's something different this time. By going to different parts of the map, maybe weapons of different quality and persona can be found. Could it mean different WunderWeapons can only be ascertained in certain parts of the map? Maybe one side has strictly automatic guns Or maybe this is like a Shi No Numa map, where the perks switch between fixed locations, and depending on where you go, you will find different things unique to only that side of the map? Tell me what you guys think. I highly doubt this is accurate information, but I'm running out of ideas for this. Whatever this information means, i'm sure the end outcome will be something special!

If that were the case (the bit about going down and losing a gun) that could easily just ruin the entire game right there. Round 25, just got the WaveGun, and you get downed and get revived in the middle of the round being expected to hold the key to the rest of the teams survival for the rest of the round due to the fact that you have the Wundergun, but then realize that you no longer have a perk? Sounds (usher) Ludacris to me And just think how many glitches could be made from that type of perk. Another glitch that allows you to have 20+ guns

We can all dream. I know I type like one from time to time... Just to do my part. They can't be on the site 24/7 so everyone should do what they can in the spare time to attempt to self-regulate the community and uphold the Code of Conduct.

Okay. It's already been established that there will indeed be a new class of zombie known as the 'Phaser Zombie' Zombie Lead Jimmy Z was interviewed by One of Swords, all Jimmy did was question One of Swords about it; once again leaving us in a cloud of questions But they used the plural term for 'phaser zombies' which leads us to semi-conclude that there will be more than one of them on the map, which kind of eliminates the possibility of it being a 'boss' I personally think that these will be normal looking zombies (similar appearances as the others) with maybe one distinguishable cosmetic trait, but just has the special ability to appear in and out of sight. Almost like the Shrieker and Napalm Zombie and how they had their own special traits

Verruckt to this day is the creepiest map to me. The first time i played it, by round 5 i was making those whimpering noises that seem to closely resemble an injured dog. The fact that it took place in an Insane Asylum only added to the eery-ness that already was in the atmosphere. The power room spooked me the most though by far. Especially when you would turn around and see a sole zombie running at you. The way the blue light of the room shined on it's bloody body while attacking you just was too much for me to handle for the longest time!

Enough. Respect other community members, another part of the code of conduct. I say that first everyone learns how to abide by the rules currently in place before members start telling the Mods to change the way they moderate the forums.

Hey. Quit putting down other players and their ideas. It's not FairPlay and it's not what CoDz about. This is a forum where players are allowed to discuss their ideas and theories and share them with the community if they believe in what they're saying. Players opposing an idea can have their own opinions, but shouldn't express them in vulgar ways against another community member
-
That's actually a pretty good idea Of course before he could make a whole 'giving thanks and appreciation' section we'd need to know without a single doubt that it was indeed the end. And that could take months unless Treyarch were to actually say 'NO! we're never making a zombie map ever again, on and game for any console from here on out'

Area 51 - Moon, Rocket in SL theory is False + Phase zombie
killerussian replied to CLAYMORE's topic in Moon
Players can and should believe what they want to believe, for whatever reason they have to do so. Who's to say a players theory and hopeful idea must be shut down because it came from another site? It's called hope and imagination. -
To you- If you weren't there from the beginning of WaW (as in before the first map pack was released) then you don't truly realize just what it's like for the rest of us (us standing for the dedicated). We've come so far from the beginning. Ever since then, all we've wanted was more more and more, and that's what we got. We used to spend our nights analyzing the maps looking for any clue as to when/if a new map pack were to be released (talking about Der Riese) and it took over our lives! Then we hear of a new game called Black Ops and hear it's being developed by Treyarch and we knew. We knew that we were going to get more! And so we did. Is this the end? Is our thrilling story finally coming to an end? We've made zombies the phenomenon that it is today through our efforts and dedication to uncovering the truth and making the real story known so others can appreciate the work that was put into this. Anyone can come up with a story, but it takes true devotion to turn that story into a world wide known obsession and legend! If you've made it this far into the message, then I thank you for reading- this goes out to all of us, the community. And to everyone else who helped spark the creation and continuation of the Nazi Zombie Saga That's right. 'Saga', not story, nor legend. Good gaming everyone! May your hard work be never forgotten

Cosmic silverback and other things regarding Map pack 4!
killerussian replied to CLAYMORE's topic in Moon
they are putting new weapons, and your dumb to think otherwise LOL. really? Guys. For the remastered maps, they have the same W@W weapons on the wall, but all the guns in the box are from Black ops. The Wunderwaffe is in Der Riese and Shi No Numa. In verruckt, you have the thundergun I believe, and in Untoten, I THINK you have the Ice Gun. It's either that or vice versa concerning the ice gun/thundergun -
'Rezurrection', begins with Rez, which is the beginning of Reznov's name. The man who mysteriously disappeared, shrouded in mystery Also, all the map packs beginning letters put together spell F.E.A.R

Idea concerning being outside the space station, with NO AIR
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Moon
But they did the same thing for Call of the Dead in a way if you were frozen and someone couldn't get to you to shoot you, a zombie would surely down you! I don't know though.. I'm just thinking out loud. Maybe all it does is slow your movement from building to building -
Idea concerning being outside the space station, with NO AIR
killerussian replied to killerussian's topic in Moon
And there is most likely going to be a new perk. What if the perk has something to do with allowing you to move normally in low gravity? Treyarch said this was going to be the most challenging Zombies map yet... Cant wait to see! -
In the previous maps, there's sometimes been a part of the map that can alter your characters movement. In Shangri-La, the quick-sand and the water In Call of the Dead, if you were to stay in the icey water for too long, you'd freeze. And over time your screen would begin to develop frost all around it, impairing your vision In Shi No Numa, the swamps slowed you down... A LOT. SO. Maybe in 'Moon', when you're outside of the space station, you only have a limited time that you can be outside of it because there is no air! when you're outside maybe there's lower gravity, but you can't stay out there for too long or else you'll become downed. I think it's a possibility
