  3. Kinda reminds me of this recent Wired article. A 250 year old code was cracked. It had picotograms that could be deciphered (de-cipher-ed) into some letters, colons, spaces, periods.   4. Awesome work on finding these, pasting them together, and transcribing them. I'll take a look at them, but with the special characters in there, it looks really random, not easily crackable or even a code.
  5. I'd like to do all the side quests, and then play for a while. Then when we get bored we can go end the game. The other night I did this in a 4 player game, everything but the Retriever. We'd been playing the same game for 4 hours and wanted to call it a night after surviving a few rounds maxed out. So then you can choose to end the game if you want, though it's totally optional to do the last step. I just want it to be ready with a great ending if people want to do it.
  6. I was trying to put together a list of all the things you can do it Mob of the Dead, in the best order, or at least in an order that is pretty efficient. Here's what I came up with, kind of grouped together into logical groupings. The steps will allow you to get the Vitrolic Withering, Hell's Redeemer, Golden Spork, Skulls, and finish with Pop Goes the Weasel Stuff to do all the time Pick up shield and acid parts Power stuff, get perks, weapons, PaP Enter 935 in the numbers and find bottles for songs Survive Group 1 Get Warden Key Feed all 3 dogs and pick up Hell's Retriever Collect plane parts and fly to GG bridge Group 2 Collect 5 skulls Pick up Blundergat from Warden's office Shock the spoon behind wall outside Warden's office Have all players retrieve cafeteria spoon (listen for voice) Hold X in blood tub and see spoon stir Group 3 Fly to GG bridge 3 times Kill lots (30-100) of zombies on bridge with Tomahawk only (possible noise heard) PaP and Acid Kit Blundergat to Vitrolic Withering Group 4 Kill lots of zombies in Laundry/Shower room (might hear laugh) Throw Tomahawk into hell lava pit (all players) Survive a whole round. Group 5 Go to tub and have each player hold X to get Golden Spork Get blue Hell's Redeemer in Afterlife Final Grouping Refuel plane Enter codes 872 101 386 481 in machine Listen to all headsets Fly to GG bridge in afterlife Fight with Weasel and determine your cycle! So what do you think? Some things can be done at the same time for sure (you can do lots while flying to the bridge 3 times, for example). I want to make sure that I didn't get something out of order, like having a step before some other required step.

  10. Inverted purple in the RGB color space is yellow, FYI. Orange and blue are opposites, an Red and green are opposites.

  12. You are right, it's fake. Too many issues. Your point about the bad white space and crooked border lines is the biggest issue. Another is that the music playing is from Portal, I think, which you can hear better in the video linked to in the other thread. Another is grammar. Die and Der both mean 'the' in German. Der is masculine, Die is feminine. Only one goes with a noun. Kammer is feminine, so it will always have Die in front of it. So the grammar is wrong in this.

  14. Counterpoint. The loading screen is fake. Something to point out are the 3 phrases: Bridging the Gap The Henge Der Kammer Based on previous maps, these represent: Location/Title Other Location Game Mode So Bridging the Gap and The Henge are the location, and Der Kammer is the game mode. That doesn't make much sense. Also the tear from the Die Rise loading screen on the right shows a non-torn page next. But the page here looks torn, showing the film reel below it. Though, maybe, this page is not torn at all, but is just darker, like the film reel is sitting on a dark rock in the cave? Hard to tell.
  15. Seems very legit to me. The film reel is still there, which is fine, maybe showing the final or next map. In Die Rise you saw it because two or more page corners were torn. And you can see a hint of the next map with the blue beams at the top right rip. And the left rip still represents the 'mystery man' from the Die Rise right page. Kammer means room or chamber in German. And a henge is a large trench dug out in a landscape (looks like crop circles, but are not) across Europe. So this could take place in Germany. Or maybe some other place in Europe, and it says 'Der Kammer' simply because the development kit is german, so it's been translated. The top right panel looks like the team is being beamed into some sort of subterranean room/chamber. The other panels look like a cave system, possibly underneath a henge. Not sure what the milk jug looking thing is in the bottom right panel.
  16. Thanks for the compliments. I might make tutorial vids but my setup is crappy for capture. I'd have to make an iPhone recording. Each one took about 15-30 minutes, and they all use all 32 layers. If I had more layers of course I could make them better (eg, adding black outlines around the fingers in the 935 logo). Hey, zachjd, love the ray gun one. I was going to try that but didn't think I could do it. I still would like to know how to get the direct online link to them. In Elite, here is the image link to my emblem, which of course is wrong: https://api.elite.callofduty.com//emble ... mgtype=png As another example, the one that deathb4di2h0nor posted is the same, but it used to be Richtofen related. Anyone know how to make these show up?

  19. Oh hey, just an update on this. I finally went to theater mode last night. So here's what happened. Mid round, I threw an EMP, as a zombie was spawning from the ground outside the map near the church. Then someone fires their gun and the EMP effect wears off. The zombie is still spawning, and when it finally does, it is frozen in place, like it's stunned. But it's frozen in a running position, not in the normal stun position. We kill the rest of the zombies but can't find him. He's actually pivoting in place facing us as we move around the map. 10 minutes later we quit the game. I rendered the video and sent it to Elite TV, but of course that's still not working (doesn't show up there), so I can't share it. If you all are interested I can record from the TV with my phone and upload to YouTube.

  21. I was playing Survival in Town with the default settings online with two friends. We got to the end of round 12, and there were no more zombies, but the round never ended! We checked all the windows, all the doors were open, and there were no zombie sounds - all quiet. We eventually shot all our ammo and grenades and money and couldn't find a zombie or progress to level 13, so we ended the game. This ever happen to anyone? The only thing I can think of is that mid round I threw 1 EMP, though someone fired and it really didn't stun then for long. But maybe a stunned zombie got stuck outside the map or something. I threw a second EMP while we were looking for zombies later, but didn't notice anything happening.
  22. You can't revive through walls, the Ballistic Knife has to fly and hit a downed player. RelaxingEnd had 2 across the map revives on his YouTube channel. The first was staged to see if he could do it, and the second was like through a bus window into the fog that found it's mark.   24. I've heard a theory, based on the opening in Die Rise, that they characters are constantly respawing on every map over and over, like Groundhog day, until they get something right (like an EE), so they can move on to the next map.
  25. I'd like to see a map that was more about the vertical connections between levels and buildings and what is required to move between them (power, elevator, jumping, dropping, etc), and less about each floor's plan. I might start working in this because I'm still a bit confused how everything connects (first elevator, other elevator shaft dropping down, Buddha room slide, etc).
