A few posts up you'll see I've witnessed two player, but ya the only time sensitive thing is the button press and airstrike grenade. Even in solo you can wield all staves so your scenario would not be a problem with placing them one by one. I've heard people say in chats and comments that in solo that step is different. You can press the button then throw it or something, but I've never seen video proof of that.

Are you sure? I in this video where RelaxingEnd got a bunch of 10s, then the bonus. He goes from 300 points after buying it to 640. So 340 points total. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPrJ9EZW_ow

Is it possible to fill the soul boxes with the souls of the generator Templar zombies? If so you can fill the boxes quickly on early rounds and get the Thunder Fists early enough to be useful. For places like Jug where the box is away from the generator, you can have all your teammates run in loops to lure them over there and kill them by the box while the next player is getting near the other side of the generator.
-
Can you keep getting 10 points for every templar kill? Does that ever end? If so, you could activate the generator in the starting room on round one, and run trains and knife or shoot them until you get hundreds of points, thousands if you are patient. It's kind of like the No Man's Land challenge from Moon, though maybe less skill is needed.

Cool, thanks, good to know! The generators are way less important that I thought at first.
-
I'd like to know if it can be done solo. I'll try later. But no one has done this yet, right?
-
I haven't tried this yet, but can you gather the staff parts, open the Hallway of the Ancestors, and build a staff without having any generators on? Are the generators only for PaP and initially powering perks?
-
Do we know who the O4 voice actors are in Origins? Some sound the same but some sound different. Is Richtofen really Nolan North or someone else?

I updated the original theory post (written right after achievements were released) with the results. viewtopic.php?f=155&p=327810#p327810 Well, I wasn't that far off... I really thought you could trade staves, which you can I guess by putting them back, but not directly. Excited I guessed the revive-from-a-distance with a staff.
-
That's funny, I just posted that same theory here: viewtopic.php?f=155&t=35870&start=60#p331418

Here's a theory I haven't read yet. The cut scene is set in Germany at the beginning of WWII. The girl is Samantha, Maxis's daughter, and Maxis is the voice we hear. Origins was all made up by Sam and Eddie, inspired by her father's work. But from that moment, things happen in the real world: zombie research, Nacht, WaW maps, BO maps, BO2 maps. So basically only Origins was a made up history by a little girl, and the rest is real. Origins, as we played it, is, like Vahn said, "one version of the story." Maybe similar events happened during WWI and Maxis was involved, but Sam got much of the true story wrong, exaggerated it, or changed it for fun.

Thanks again for these. Here's my dropbox link for wallpapers I've collected that are atmospheric, including yours. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/f23jbvqgb09y ... y6V/CoDArt

Was watching NGT livestream and can confirm from that the Golden Helmet does prevent you from taking damage from the robot foot. You just get stomped and then when it lifts its foot, you continue walking with no damage.

So here are the pages chronologically. Feel free to correct this. Origins: cover First half Nacht Verrukt Shi No Numa Der Riese Kino Ascension Call of the Dead Shangri-La Moon Nuketown - middle Last half Die Rise Buried ... 7 more pages to balance out the comic. More if there are maps between the maps in the first half of the comic. TranZit, MotD are outside of the comic. List of loading screens: http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Zombies_(mode)

This is the next step in the easter egg. you can see it here in my gameplay footage of the fire staff being placed in there hence finishing the step http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfjyXG3fGK0 That's an awesome video dude. So you self destructed the robot! That means they could be obliterated and we in the present would never have known about them.

Check this thread for all but 2 of the pieces: viewtopic.php?f=155&t=35834

Heard this on NPR radio too! Hilarious. Tons of articles about it: https://www.google.com/search?q=element ... d=0CBgQqAI "Super-heavy elements are generally unstable and most last only a fraction of a second before they start to decay. " Just like zombies... "Some of element 115's neighbors have already been christened. Last year, the man-made elements 114 and 116 were named flerovium (Fl) and livermorium (Lv)." Maybe the will call it Divinium... NPR story: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... =216538263 "Russian scientists first spotted it a few years ago, but they couldn't be sure. ... Now, Herzberg...together with colleagues in Europe, the U.S. and Japan." Holy cow, the original 4's countries! "It has nothing, nothing whatsoever to do with antigravity devices or spaceships or anything else. It really is a down-to-earth element 115." Sounds like a cover up to me... "But 115 could be on the edge of something really magical. Nuclear researchers call it the island of stability. Elements on this island are even heavier than 115, but strange quantum effects keep them from breaking apart. " That's more like it... Perks and PaP, here we come.

Holy cow it's the plot line from Army of Darkness! Maybe they open a portal and travel back in time with these staves to deliver those primitive screwheads from an ancient evil. http://cdn.hark.com/swfs/player_fb.swf?pid=xxsmlfxmgy Or maybe those are the O4's ancestors.
-
I think this is the best too.
-
Nice! And yes I know the quarter under the perks was is not a persistent upgrade. I was just mentioning it.
-
I agree. Now, if someone could use high-res captures of every loading screen since WaW and turn them into a virtual or physical comic book...
-
Has anyone discovered anything yet? I haven't. The only thing I've heard is going prone in front of a perk after buying it gives you 25 points.
-
Arg! I'm not able to play till tonight, so I stopped looking at this forum and YouTube yesterday when the first gameplay was released. I'm not going to look today either. So this thread is for other who are doing the same thing. For solidarity. And to have a place on CodZombies to post things that are not spoilers. :? I'm excited to see if any of my Elemental Staff theories were right, some 4 player coop action tonight with friends, how the Panzers will work, the effect of Zombie Blood, how to avoid the Giant, and to hear our O4 talk again. What are you looking forward to?
