As we all remember, Der Reise's translation is The Journey. For a long time, we've been on a long journey, seeing places as creepy as a Nazi brain washing theater, as frigid as Siberia, and as high as the Moon can take you. But for a long time, we haven't know where this journey would take us. I believe I may have found where our journey will be leading us to. And that place is Mecca. Mecca is the religious center of the Islamic faith. This is the place where Muhammad was born and where the Quran was revealed to him. This is the holy city of Islam. Every year, Muslims take a pilgrimage to Mecca to worship Allah at the Grand Mosque. A pilgrimage, as many know, is a journey. Not just any journey for a Muslim. Well recently, and by recently I mean within the past day, Peter Livingstone changed his profile picture on Twitter to the Grand Mosque at the center of Mecca. I had to wonder why he would do this. Easter is a big time for Christianity, but not so much Islam. Ramadan isn't until November. So there had to be a reason. The Grand Mosque has long been thought of as a very mystical and historic sight, but there is something that is in the center of the Grand Mosque that catches my attention. The Black Stone is thought to be many different things, whether that be natural glass, basalt stone, or even a meteorite. In fact, a meteorite is the most popular explanation of what The Black Stone is. The Black Stone in Islamic belief was a place that God told Adam and Eve to build an altar. He sent the stone from Heaven to show them where to build. This would be the first temple on earth. "[T]he Prophet has named the (Black Stone) the 'right hand of God' (yamin-Allah), and for purpose. In fact one poses there one's hand to conclude the pact, and God obtains there our pact of allegiance and submission. In the qur'anic terminology, God is the king, and ... in (his) realm there is a metropolis (Umm al-Qurra) and in the metropolis naturally a palace (Bait-Allah, home of God). This is where it gets interesting. Let's look at these pictures (thanks I Grill I). As you can see, we have the different locations all highlighted above where missiles will/have potential to hit. If we were to change a few things on this map and put missile strikes in different locations, but still viable options based on our other in game missile strike location, we can see some...interesting things. Let's make our missile strike in China at the southern tip. We really don't know where we hit in China, just that it was in China. Let's move the missile strike in Europe to Spain. I chose Spain because the developers tweeted yesterday Chicos and Chicas, two Spanish terms. This could refer to the next map being in Spain. Obviously this is all speculation and might be thrown out in a week, but look what we have. As we can see in this picture, the line from Spain to China runs very close to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. If the force was strong enough, the line would run directly into Mecca where The Black Stone is. Could this be our true obelisk that Richtofen wants powered? Could we be headed to the Middle East in Map pack 3? Think about it. The rock is thought to possibly be a meteorite(115 anyone?) and fallen long ago. This seems to be set up perfectly for an epic Middle Eastern map. Now, to the hard side of this theory. I want to believe this to be true but there are many factors that make me question it being right. 1. I honestly had to stretch to make Mecca fit on that map. It's the right location, but Spain is a stretch and south China is also a stretch. It's a possibility, but it's still tough to make it work. 2. The Black Stone is very sacred to Islam. Infinity Ward had to take Favela off of their map rotation in Modern Warfare 2 just because someone found a text from the Quran on the ground. This makes me strongly believe that it Treyarch would not risk the backlash from Muslims over having a map in one of their most sacred places. At the end of the day, I feel this would be a very interesting map if it went through and a very interesting tie in to the story. The Journey that started long ago could lead us here. And Shooter, I think this has all been planned out for a good while. Possibly since making Black Ops. I don't think they knew locations and such, but I believe they had ideas. And I believe by the release of Moon they knew exactly what they wanted to do with Black Ops II.

If it is on Mars, give me a way that it got there. You can't transport an entire civilization, including a waterfall AND its water source, to another planet. It's just not how it works. And how would the O4 breath on Mars? I'm not saying that's not where it is. But there's way too many questions just to assume still. I don't care about Jimmy's Anyone? tweet. He could be asking what people think. I just would really like some evidence of how this could work in game besides something that was found after file diving. I thought it was commonly agreed upon that file diving did not make it canon.

It's not like other games don't do this. Plenty of games offer these types of purchasing options. I have no problem with it. But ya know what does frustrate me? That Season Pass owners don't get all of this for free. Look at Borderlands. If you buy Season Pass, you get all DLC, including skins and customization. Same should be said here. And don't get me started on Nuketown Zombies...

Let's look at BO1 for reference. January, May, July, August. I'd guess they'll move May up to April. Then July up to June. So January, April, June, August. Seems pretty good to me. Also, I don't mean to be rude, but lack of maturity and quality of posts is the reason you're leaving the site? I think people attention-whoring looking for people to try to keep them here by announcing that they are going to leave the site for blah blah blah reasons is pretty immature and is a reason, as you say, the community is dying. If you want to leave the site, I wish you well, but don't come on here posting about leaving for x reasons. You end up doing exactly what you say is the reason you're leaving. Sorry I just had to say that. Annoys the heck out of me when people come looking for attention by proclaiming they're leaving the site.

Storyline is AlphaSnake. No contest at all. As I was putting together the list of lost Asylum threads that I recently posted in the Asylum, I was shocked at how many we're AlphaSnake. I knew he had a ton, but it was seriously amazing the amount of story he's contributed.

No. There was a "leak" of an "Orientation" map pack with the zombie map called "Dead High." I believe it is fake honestly.

I like the thought process, but I am 99% sure that the demonic voice is Richtofen. (Sorry, I don't know how to directly clip in YT videos.) Skip to about 1:05, and listen carefully. The demonic voice distortedly says "Accept your fate, begin anew!" then repeats itself, but slips into Richtofen's original voice in the middle of the sentence. Now, is it possible that it's a separate voice with Richtofen's exact goals in mind? Yes, but that just seems too coincidental. I believe them to be separate voices. Why would Richtofen be moaning in Stully's head all map long in Die Rise. They could have the same goals. Eh...I wouldn't say the community WANTS it. I think we more or less expect it. We know they planned Paris for MP4, then changed it to Moon. So we know the idea for Paris is there. Our desire for it isn't at an all time high or anything. It's just our solid prediction. I would have more excitement on other map ideas I believe. But Treyarch knows where they want to go with it. If I had my way, we sure wouldn't have had Die Rise because I wouldn't have gone to China. But I love Die Rise. Sometimes what I want isn't what I need.

The silhouette looks more like the blank portrait in Kino. Am I the only one that has noticed the lack of tiny easter eggs in the maps? I'm talking little notes or pictures or anything. The stuff that made zombies what it is today?

I think you're forgetting one of the largest towers in the world...the Eiffel Tower. And we know the devs have considered Paris before and, because of a recent post, we know that nukes went off in Nevada, China, and Europe. Where at in Europe is the question. And I think Sherwood giving a shout out if pretty solid evidence that the analysis that was done was spot on.

Oh yea it's definitely a stretch. To be quite honest, I just thought of this and said that they COULD mean this. I'm just wanting to get some form of decent discussion going. Lately it's been a mess on here with the pointless threads and such.

I believe we're headed to Berlin next map and the O4 will be back in some form or fashion. Let me discuss my thought process. First off, let's go back to Moon and look at Coming Home. This is a song sung in Sam's perspective. Not many will disagree with this. And she says "All that I am will be coming home now..." She may be in Richtofen's body still (all that I am), but her and the others have to get back to Earth. They'll go to Berlin (will be coming home now...). Berlin is the heart of the zombie apocalypse. It's where it all started. So for Sam to go home, she'd have to go to Berlin. And my second piece of evidence is in Die Rise. The song All Fall Down talks about the Bubobic Plague, or at least references it a lot. The plague came from the East. This could be in there because we are in China, but it also could mean East Germany. Could we be time traveling again? No idea. I just think this is what it could be pointing too. That's my evidence. There's not much more I have. I could be wrong and Paris could be our location, but that middle hit in Europe could easily be in Germany. If I'm wrong, oh well. If I'm right, then I should write more of these! :-D
