But Maxis speaks through electronics and the guy says "we destroyed everything electronic..." Obviously he wanted to en communication with Maxis. This man feels Maxis "means to destroy this planet and kill us all!"
-
My ideas are very clear. You're the one who made me out to be an idiot when you talked about someone that I didn't even mention.
-
What Maxis quote says Green Run happens decades after Moon? Green Run happens pretty soon after Moon. We hear the bus and Malton in Nuketown Zombies and that is at the exact time of Moon. On the O4 being dead, I highly doubt it. You can't kill off the O4 because there are still way too many questions to be answered. Does Sam get her body back? Does Takeo become the hero and does he know all that happened? How many wives does Nickolai actually have? Too many story changing questions that must be answered!
-
I'm pretty sure you can play the maps on your console. My friend and his little brother have two separate GTs on same console and they only buy one map pack.
-
Who are you? I was responding to that guy you quoted also, not you!
-
Honestly, I don't mean to sound like a douchebag, but I never said Samuel. It was Russman. Get your crap right if you're gonna try to make me look dumb.
-
I don't think we'll get the O4 back until the third map pack earliest. My bet is we'll do something to save them in the 4th map pack and get them back to earth(can't they already come back? the teleporter still worked after we nuked the earth) and then they'll cliffhanger it for ya and make ya wait a year to play the new zombies that will be an 8 player zombie survival campaign deal or whatever you want to call it.

When was it built Flammen? Also, lots of good stuff here. I have to wonder how long the devs have been planning everything out. Those Moon pictures show me that this whole design had been decided before they released Rezzurection. This also makes you wonder how long they've known the O4 wouldn't return and how long they took developing these characters. The T4(I like that) seem like just another group of people that we grab along the way and use until we get back to the O4, but it seems the devs don't want this to be the case. And Marlton being in Nuketown isn't just thrown in there for fun. I've always known the zombie devs to be sly, secretive, and very smart in what they do. If they've been planning an trichotomous system since Black Ops, I have to wonder what their plans are for these characters and their significance. One last thing that came to mind. I, and some others I hope, wondered how they would create these TranZit maps continuously for four map packs. That's a lot of work to do in a normal DLC cycle. I saw in a Black Ops interview that they had about 2-3 weeks to put a map together. I wonder if Lamia and crew gave them much more time preseason to get all their maps started on and worked on. In other words, could Green Run have been completed in August and Die Rise already been started. I figure that's the only way they could get this large of maps all in there in time for the DLC. Okay I feel I got off topic somewhere haha. #rantover

What I'm getting at is two things: 1. This isn't a trailer for Die Rise. It's a map pack preview. People need to wait until the official trailer before freaking out because next thing you know we'll have a twenty page thread about no Marlton then he'll appear in the Official Die Rise trailer and it'll be all for naught. 2. People have overreacted to the absense or secretiveness of a character before, but they didn't turn out to be of any known importance in the map. Do any of you have a good reason why Russman would have had his face hidden for the entire trailer? Exactly. There's not a good reason. It just happened. And if Russman turns out to be significant, which he very well could, then there was still no need to hide his face in this trailer because there was no hidden significance to him in Green Run. I hope that this is understandable. It's more or less just me typing what I'm thinking.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzS4SLv1Rck The three audio clips I'm referring to start at :31.
-
Those three recordings are definitely the same man IMO. And if my opinion is correct, which I think it is, then Maxis is very dangerous. Would your opinion change if you believed those three were the same?
-
Were you around here when the trailer for TranZit released? People didn't know who the fourth character was. We had little snapshots, but nothing clear like the others. People made a big deal about it.
-
MMX, the same man is heard in three different quotes. I'm not talking about the quote where he sounds insane. I'm talking about the first one where he hears a voice in his head. The one that ends with "for you and the flesh!" The man definitely questions the voice saying "Kill one? Oh no I could never do that." But then he says he'll do it a few seconds later. This is the same man who screams about destroying everything electronic, which implies that Maxis is the one talking to him!
-
Listen to the quotes MMX. The man says "Kill him? I'd never do that." Then a few seconds later he says he'll do it. This is the same man who destroyed everything electronic because that's what the voice was communicating to him through.

-facepalm- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BB1uMseSWo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_Cx82OF ... 5&index=11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z34RTO2B ... 25&index=5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k8V7fF7 ... 25&index=3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXH381x4 ... 25&index=2 I'm not saying they're the best trailers, and I don't know if we can classify Moon's as a trailer, but the others definitely got trailers and they normally came out a week before the map pack released.
-
Yes but normally we equate destroying the planet with Richtofen, but this man is talking about Maxis! Sure, he's crazy. As you stated, anyone would go crazy with two voices in your head fighting for supremacy. But then why did he say that no one could hear him because he destroyed everything electronic? In fact, let's go even deeper! :31 Let's say that we have established that the man that goes crazy is talking about Maxis since he wants to destroy everything electronic so he won't hear him. But if we listen to this, Maxis wants him to kill somebody. So Maxis wants to kill a man? For what purpose? Can we assume that we are going to kill someone off at one point for these two men's plans? I'm just trying to say that Maxis isn't the man he claims to be in this quote at 1:10.
-
Don't get me wrong. I never thought of Maxis as the evil one in the scenario until I heard that last quote about destroying everything electronic. I'm not saying that there aren't things that show Maxis' humanity, but there are also things that show Richtofen's humanity. Remember that when Maxis signed the deal with the Nazi party, Richtofen was against it. That last quote I mentioned just really screams that Maxis' intentions are not so good. They are evil as well.
-
That's the thing though! This isn't the trailer! This was a map pack preview!
-
Look at that! They show all of the other characters but leave Russman almost completely out! There must be something that they're hiding from us! Now, in all seriousness, we all know that Russman is not that important in Green Run. Maybe in the grander scheme, but not right now. But he didn't even show up in trailer for a picture of his face. What am I trying to say? Just because Marlton didn't appear in a map pack trailer that isn't even the official zombie trailer, it doesn't mean he's disappeared or anything. He just didn't show up. Can we please hold off on the missing Marlton threads until official trails release at least? Thanks.

So it's believed that Richtofen is the evil scientist here and that he is the one who wants to do awful things. And while all indications point to this, what about Maxis? I don't believe Maxis' intentions are anywhere near his "to save mankind" self that he portrays. He did send the rockets to the earth. Whether his calculations were off or not, he did it. And if you remember, that was a pretty evil laugh he gave after sending those rockets. But what most makes me think that Maxis may be the more evil one here is the crazy man audio in Green Run. He starts rambling like a mad man about how "we know the truth" and that "you mean to destroy this planet and kill us all!" This is what really pointed me to it though. "So yeah. Keep talking. No ones gonna hear you cuz we destroyed everything. Everything electronic starting with that evil radio box thing." Now electronics? Maxis talks through electronics! Could he be referring to Maxis as having intentions to destroy the planet? Opinions?
-
Ya like my sig huh? Haha
-
Time is a strange thing. I believe everything to be in the same timeline. What does Call of the Dead tell us? That at one point, this gets fixed...at least somewhat. Remember that Maxis and Richtofen both have the goal of bringing the world back to its normal self. Their intentions are different, but goal is the somewhat the same. So CotD would happen after the world was repaired. Possibly zombies had been eradicated by that point...or at least they thought it had. Samantha had taken back over the device, since her body is still there. That would be switching souls back. Sam has awakened the zombies in an attempt to stop what she knows the crew are after. So she awakens the zombies one last time to try to stop everything from happening now that she knows what will occur if she doesn't. Remember that Sam is just a little girl. She doesn't want to destroy the world. I hope this is easy to understand. It doesn't really pertain to Shanghai I guess haha.

Zilienski never confirmed it was on Mars. In fact, there's a much larger group that doesn't believe it to be on Mars.
-
Also, if it is indeed in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower completed construction in 1994.
