I'm honored! Thanks so much and I'm glad some people over there are seeing that. Welcome to the forums and I hope you have a great stay.

I've read where Alcatraz got it's first group of prisoners in late 1933. I believe late October or November.
-
I haven't gotten to that point in the side quest, so I'll assume that you have evidence that says Lucifer gave us this audio? And what are you talking about it couldn't have been operating as a federal prison at this time? I'm sorry but the environment says post-1942. The story says 1933. My answer puts both of those together in a consistent manner that I believe the devs would be drawn to due to their conspiracy-minded selves. MMX, I know you. And one thing I know is that you are stubborn. And one thing that I know about myself is that I'm stubborn. So I know you are not going to agree with my ghost theory, and I'm going to solidly stick with it. I think we're just at a standstill on that haha!

Yes, the M4 believe it is 1933. What I'm saying, which is what you seemed to get at at the end of your post, is that while they believe it's 1933, it's not.

So explain to me how a Shock Gibson comic can appear in a map that is in 1933 when Shock Gibson wasn't created until 1940. Explain to me how a water tower that wasn't completed until 1941 is in a map in 1933. Explain to me how there is a radio in the map of a man recounting what happened and saying that he WORKED(past tense) until 1942 at Alcatraz. The map is post 1942. The men involved are ghosts. They're dead already. The radio tells us that. Is it controversial? Sure. But it makes the most sense of anything else. It completely explains why we have so much pointing to post-1942, but why these characters are reliving this experience over and over again. Check this link out of a true ghost tale. http://www.scaryforkids.com/farnsworth/ "Years ago, a small boy named Jeremy was out playing in front of the house when a horse and carriage passed by. The driver didn't see the boy and ran him over, killing him instantly. Guests have seen his ghost, replaying the accident over and over falling to his doom beneath the battering hooves and wheels. The ghost of his distraught father has also been spotted in a window of the hotel, watching in mute horror as his son is killed over and over for all eternity." It's the same for our M4. They are repeating this important sequence in their lives over and over again for all enternity. For some reason, though, a they broke away from what they did way back then. They actually went through with the plan for some reason. In this cycle, the time rift messes up, since this didn't happen, and all hell breaks loose. I'm sorry but there's too much in the map that points to it being post-1942.

Great thread Undead! It is interesting because the rounds don't start until after you've revived yourself. So it's like nothing ever happened at all. It's EXTREMELY complicated to understand MotD and when it happens and such. How much it's connected to the main story, I'm not sure. But I will say that this map has to happen post-1942. It could happen anytime after that. This make me question if it happens before Samantha takes over(someone had to be in control) or after Richtofen has been dethroned.

Want something even more interesting? When you type in 935, it goes to 777. 777 references God.
-
It's just such a good game :D
-
I believe it to be a hint toward next map more than a connection.

Guys everything is coming together and they devs are screaming it at us, but we still haven't put it together. We will not play as the O4 next map, but we will definitely be rescuing them or hearing them in some form or fashion. There are some things in MotD pointing to it. 1. Weasel's quote about hearing Nikolai 2. Samantha's Lullaby the and camera panning toward the moon 3. The announcer not being Richtofen 4. Where Are We Going (a Kevin Sherwood Easter Egg song) being sung by a female and not Clark S. Nova Guys, I could be wrong, but it just seems like they're putting it out there on a silver platter for us to eat. I think we'll at least hear them next map pack. Also, remember last May/June when the guy who voices Dempsey put on his LinkedIn something about coming back, but then took it down quickly once Activision saw it? I sure do.

It's because they probably added them late to just troll us.

[DECODED] "Where Are We Going" Secret Message?
FatedTitan replied to Rissole25's topic in Mob of the Dead
Since Der Riese, we've always assumed that songs sung by Elena were from the perspective of Samantha. Could this song be sung from that perspective as well? Could the song be showing the O4's confusion of what they should do next now that they're just on the Moon? -
I don't believe there is another song. It would appear on album. I guess it could be a song they don't own, but I just dot see it. But I wouldn't be shocked if there was another.

Strange charachter voices in room on MotD!
FatedTitan replied to EpicAnnihilater's topic in Mob of the Dead
I'm gonna have to check this out! And great 1st post! You should post an Intro in the Introductions section and let everyone know who you are! -
I just wish they'd recognize how many more people would play if they did this. I would play a lot more serious games if they did this. There's no point for me to go into a Public Match with some guys I don't know and try to go high rounds because: A: High rounds takes WAY too long with 4 people B: It's hard as heck to set it up where it's just you and your friend in a Public Match game together C: If you get a good game going, one person leaves and there's no point to continue because rounds freeze.
-
Can we get Private Match back? One of my main complaints with Black Ops 2 zombies is that I can't go into a match with my friend and attempt high rounds with only 2 players, which is the best way to do it coop. I want my rounds to show on the leaderboards. Is there not a way make it where if you play everything normal in custom games that your round will count? It would surely make me want to play zombies for rounds a lot more.

The 10 Commandments of zombies
FatedTitan replied to ThrowAmonkeyBomb's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I disagree with this somewhat. If you revive after a round, always grab Jug first. If you grab a gun, then get double hit and go down, you just wasted your time. -
Welcome and we're glad to have you! Be active and make friends and you'll love it here! Don't hesitate to ask me any questions you have! :)

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay!

I'm waiting. If I want to listen, just go to YouTube. Also, they can't put the Johnny Cash song on the album. They don't have the rights to it.
-
I'm just saying that there is nothing pointing to Weasel making a deal with the Devil besides speculation. There's nothing in the map doing it.
-
If you buy each song seperately, I guess. But iTunes does a complete album cost. For this one, it is $9.99. So $10 for the whole album. I'm not sure if they still do the "Complete Your Album" where it will subtract what you've spent on the album already out of the cost of the album, but if so, I'd assume that if you bought 10 songs, the album would then cost .09 cents.

Teleport? I haven't completed EE and haven't looked up steps yet, so maybe I haven't gotten to that part. The redeemer is just a fun melee weapon that is meant for players intending to go high rounds than what the Retriever is good for. Same with the Golden Spork. The tables are part of our T4's quest. What will happen next map pack? I guess we'll find out! And thank you for the compliment! It means a lot!

I did notice they call it MOB of the Dead. Why is MOB in all caps?
