  1. Not entirely true. He remembers all the maps, just nothing before. "Richtofen. I don't like him. I think I've seen him before Shi No Numa, but can't quite remmeber. In fact, I can't remember much at all from before." - Dempsey Lol. You're getting off topic Murder. My point is Dempsey doesn't remember anything about the order of the maps before Ascension. His recollection of everything before then is extremely blurry, like he stated.

  3. “Ancient temples, Russian Cosmodromes, being stuck in a dark closet with Richtofen. Eh, what an adventure.” – wpck_upgrade_wait Dempsey's quote on Shangri La when waiting for the Pack-A-Punch machine to finish. Basically stating the last maps we just played on. Ascension(Russian Cosmodrome) to a closet in Call of the Dead to ancient temples of Shangri La. Dempsey is basically providing us with the order of the last maps. His memory has only began to return around Ascension - Call of the Dead, so any maps before that he cannot recall.

  5. So there's been alot of talk lately from Treyarch Zombie developers about Shangri La. Multiple times, they mention a range of mountains. These tweets get us theorists thinking. Secondly, huge thanks for Mix for uploading the picture of the Vril cover with the mountain range. It's what really got me thinking on this, which lead to doing some searching on Google. I stumbled upon a very interesting article. It is the "secret" diary log of Admiral Byrd. Some of you may have heard of this, but here's is some background information on Admiral Byrd and radio log from his lost flight. Admiral Richard E. Byrd At 09:10 Hours, Byrd makes note of the ice and snow below, as you would expect to see in the Arctic territory. However something is off. The snow appears to have a strange hue of colors coming from it. The admiral makes note of the strange appearance, and radios to basecamp his findings. And that's when things get weird. Make note of the electrical and mechanical problems he experiences right before he gets within view of the mountain range. Even from a great distance, all navigational equipment ceases to work 0915 Hours- In the distance is what appears to be mountains. 0949 Hours- 29 minutes elapsed flight time from the first sighting of the mountains, it is no illusion. They are mountains and consisting of a small range that I have never seen before! 0955 Hours- Altitude change to 2950 feet, encountering strong turbulence again. 1000 Hours- We are crossing over the small mountain range and still proceeding northward as best as can be ascertained. Beyond the mountain range is what appears to be a valley with a small river or stream running through the center portion. There should be no green valley below! Something is definitely wrong and abnormal here! We should be over Ice and Snow! To the portside are great forests growing on the mountain slopes. Our navigation Instruments are still spinning, the gyroscope is oscillating back and forth! 1005 Hours- I alter altitude to 1400 feet and execute a sharp left turn to better examine the valley below. It is green with either moss or a type of tight knit grass. The Light here seems different. I cannot see the Sun anymore. We make another left turn and we spot what seems to be a large animal of some kind below us. It appears to be an elephant! NO!!! It looks more like a mammoth! This is incredible! Yet, there it is! Decrease altitude to 1000 feet and take binoculars to better examine the animal. It is confirmed - it is definitely a mammoth-like animal! Report this to base camp. 1030 Hours- Encountering more rolling green hills now. The external temperature indicator reads 74 degrees Fahrenheit! Continuing on our heading now. Navigation instruments seem normal now. I am puzzled over their actions. Attempt to contact base camp. Radio is not functioning! 1130 Hours- Countryside below is more level and normal (if I may use that word). Ahead we spot what seems to be a city!!!! This is impossible! Aircraft seems light and oddly buoyant. The controls refuse to respond!! My GOD!!! Off our port and starboard wings are a strange type of aircraft. They are closing rapidly alongside! They are disc-shaped and have a radiant quality to them. They are close enough now to see the markings on them. It is a type of Swastika!!! This is fantastic. Where are we!? What has happened? I tug at the controls again. They will not respond!!!! We are caught in an invisible vice grip of some type! 1135 Hours- Our radio crackles and a voice comes through in English with what perhaps is a slight Nordic or Germanic accent! The message is: 'Welcome, Admiral, to our domain. We shall land you in exactly seven minutes! Relax, Admiral, you are in good hands.' I note the engines of our plane have stopped running! The aircraft is under some strange control and is now turning itself. The controls are useless. 1140 Hours- Another radio message received. We begin the landing process now, and in moments the plane shudders slightly, and begins a descent as though caught in some great unseen elevator! The downward motion is negligible, and we touch down with only a slight jolt! 1145 Hours- I am making a hasty last entry in the flight log. Several men are approaching on foot toward our aircraft. They are tall with blond hair. In the distance is a large shimmering city pulsating with rainbow hues of color. I do not know what is going to happen now, but I see no signs of weapons on those approaching. I hear now a voice ordering me by name to open the cargo door. I comply. END LOG From this point I write all the following events here from memory. It defies the imagination and would seem all but madness if it had not happened. The radioman and I are taken from the aircraft and we are received in a most cordial manner. We were then boarded on a small platform-like conveyance with no wheels! It moves us toward the glowing city with great swiftness. As we approach, the city seems to be made of a crystal material. The next question is why Admiral Byrd? Who the heck is Admiral Byrd and why is his account so significant. Well it seems Byrd has had previous experience with a "flying saucer" (remember the "Master" stated they sent UFO's to observe the damage from WW2) as well as 3 German U-boat sent on a secret mission at the end of the war. Byrd had has multiple experiences with these Inner Earth "beings". U- Boat 530 volunteered to surrender in Argentina at Mar del Plata, after it unloaded and hid an undisclosed amount of cargo, including billions of dollars in gold and silver. U- Boat 209 however escaped capture and never returned, or at least not for some time. I understand not all of this about the submarine at CotD fits. But the point is this. It would appear Treyarch might be following the adventures of Admiral Byrd as he has had interactions with the people of Inner Earth. He has had experiences at both the North and South Pole, which is believed to be the two main entrances to Agartha: Admiral Byrd may be much more significant than we first thought. So there you have it. Treyarch's best kept secret is out. Shangri La is located in the Arctic region of the North Pole. There's still stuff I have to edit in. I'd just like to get this out while the discussion is fresh and relevant.
  6. Damn would this be an awesome function! Unfortunately I don't think it would be something they'd add in fear of changing the game dynamics too much. There's no harm in dreaming though!
  7. I see your point, but to me it seems silly to simply assume this video was recorded recently just because it was relelased recently. You just really shouldn't get your hopes up on things that aren't confirmed. If he stated it was a recent date during the video it'd be a different story, but he doesn't, so we shouldn't just assume it's new IMO. Just trying to offer the others that read this another explanation of what the quote could actually be referring to. I hope your right Claymore, I'm just not holding my breath is all.
  8. The "trailer" he was referring to may have been the reveal trailer or one of the other videos already released by Activision. The video was published on June 23, but seeing that the video has no date itself it's impossible to say what trailer he is referring to. Either way, you're title's a bit misleading. Maybe add a "Possible" in front of the current title? Oh, and the green gun is indeed only just a toy saw wraped in green fabric or tape. It is just used for motion capture like the other weapons on that shelf.
  9. I'm now starting to believe the Gersch Device might be reusable based on one of Richtofen's quotes from Moon: “The Gersch Device, simply, deadly, and comes complete with batteries” This might suggest that the Gersch Device is reusable? Possibly. But if not, it's not like Richtofen could have carried multiple Gersch Devices with him on his journey. We can do it in the game, so I'm sure he could. Either way, it would solve the question of how they got to Area 51 at the start of the map. It'd be safe to assume they would have only have gone to Ascension for two reasons, for the Gersch Device or the Casimir Mechanism. And Richtofen's quotes make it appear he was unaware of the Casimir Mechanism being there. "This Casimir Mechanism sounds intriguing!" "Casimir? Could this be related to Hendricks’s work?" However, when you get the Gersch Device out of the box in Ascension, he already knows what it is. "The Gersch Device!" "Nothing is better than a personal black hole." It's because he knew it was there and what it could do. He knew he would need it to continue with his plan.
  10. Ascension. 1963. They traveled to Ascension seeking the Gersch Device (and possibly for the Casimir Mechanism itself). After arriving, they discover Gersch's situation and learn of the Casimir Mechanism located within the Russian facility. Richtofen already knew how the device worked by studying Dutch physicist Hendrik Casimir and he hoped to use it to travel to Aether and dethrone Samantha. After freeing Gersch from Aether, Richtofen and the crew head forward in time from 1963 to 2011-2012 Call of the Dead. But how? Well the Gersch Device of course....oh I mean, the Pocket Teleporter Dempsey (Moon) - “My own personal pocket teleporter, sweet!” - gersch device. Treyarch has taken the time time to make the connection on Moon that a Gersch Device is a "Pocket Teleporter". They are trying to give us the order like Tac said. This is the whole reason we went to Ascension. For a Pocket Teleporter. Call of the Dead. March 2011. They arrive at Call of the Dead, but Richtofen's calculations are a bit off, and they end up going too far into the future and end up locked in a closet. While Richtofen does not intend for this to happen, it does work to his advantage as the gang will not recognize their surroundings. After the celebrities retrieve the Golden Rod, they teleport via the teleporter inside the closet. Note that they DO NOT time travel. They head to Shangri La for the Focusing Stone. Shangri La. After CotD, 2011. They arrive at Shangri La immediately after Call of the Dead, and they fight off the undead. They eventually complete the Easter Egg, retrieve the Focusing Stone. And again teleport to another location, Area 51, and then to Griffin Station. Moon. After Shangri La, 2011, possibly 2012. How they teleport to Area 51 is still unclear. We know a Gersch Device is a one time use only machine, so the Pocket Teleporter is out of the question. Two options:: We use the temple itself to teleport. We know it can be used to time travel, so what about teleporting? Another option: We travel BACK to Ascension via the Lunar Lander to retrieve another Gersch Device. While there, he puts his space suit back on to prepare for his trip to Griffin Station and Aether. [tab][/tab]They arrive at Area 51, and discover the base is under attack. They use the teleporter at Area 51 to travel to Griffin Station. Richtofen succeeds with his grand scheme, and takes Sam's place in Aether. There's still ALOT left out of this. Just a quick summary. Tac, I feel a revisit to our Storyline thread coming REAL soon. ;)
  11. Good stuff here SNAFU (haha I had to look up what the name meant, now that I know it's pretty sweet!). I love the details you included in the analysis and how you compared the two. Keep em coming! That's what I was gonna say . Some more good weapons analysis and comparisons would be pretty cool. Like you said jay, maybe include what would be best in each situation and stuff like that. Haven't seen anything like this here in awhile, I like it. :)
  12. No new boxes have been revealed. There are still the two classified images yet to be revealed. And it appears that only campaign info is being released via the classified images.
  13. "The enemy could be anywhere and it could be anyone". Big deal, we've heard it before. It's just things fantasized in videogames. Or is it? Anywho, as a I went over the paper, I turned the page, and this article instantly caught my eye: And it's not just rumors: The government is currently in the early stages of devising rules and procedures for the unmanned aircrafts. By 2015, licenses will be more openly given for civilian use and use on the workforce. Farmers can use them to observe their livestock and crops. Power companies want to monitor their cables lines safely and more efficiently. There are positives to using drones. But here's where it gets scary. I'll quote the article completely here: The DoD and privately owned Drone companies are insistant upon increased use of USA airspace by 2015. They need to test their military aircrafts, they need to develop more. They need to make them bigger and badder. They need to build an unmanned army. Department of Defense? Privately own sectors? Military use? Sounding familiar? I bring you to this classified image that was released: This far out fantasy videogame about future warfare truly is not as far away as we thought. In fact, the article goes on to discuss a drone already in use by a county sheriff's office in Texas. The department used a homeland security grant to buy a $300,000, 50-pound ShadowHawk helicopter drone for its SWAT team. While it is currently only using an onboard camera, the drone can be equipped with a 40mm grenade launcher and a 12-gauge shotgun. The department has no intents on equipping such options, but the possibilty of doing it with ease is present. Here are the capabilities of the ShadowHawk in terms of surveillance. It's really incredible the amount of detail the cameras can pick up. asXqvd_Yk5Y But how? How could the government get away with such things? There's certainly no way the citizens of this country would allow armed military drones to fly over our homes. Well here's what they'd tell you: "It's for your own good." "The enemy could be anywhere and it could be anyone." The government has been doing this for decades, it's what they do. [tab][/tab]So where does that leave us? Drones are already over US soil. It's said by 2020, there could be as many as 15,000 drones in U.S. skies. 15 THOUSAND! And that is just aerial drones. By the time we reach 2020, who knows what other "defensive" weapons will be up in our own backyards. (we'll find out in BO2). And what happens, when the things they built to keep us safe, are turned against us? And what happens, when the things they built to keep us safe, are turned against us? "The future is not as far off as most people think – We're not ready for it." 14. Another date has been added to the timeline. I'll be covering the page daily and make updates and analysis here as we progress through the events leading up to BO2 .
  15. Nice beats man I like it! Nothing cooler than combining your love for music and zombies! Glad to have you aboard the CoDz gang!
  16. If they did that, CoDz would be a MUCH less interesting place! Like Mac said, WE WRITE THIS STORY!
  17. Welcom.....ugh....uh....Welcome Back! How do you say welcome to someone that's already here? It's never too late to make an intro and say hello. I know I still need to . Now, no more loitering! ;)
  18. Nova 6 and the crawlers created by Nova 6 are entwined with the storyline of zombies in many ways: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=21669#p208627 viewtopic.php?f=68&t=11386#p99823 viewtopic.php?f=68&t=14365#p128388 Nova 6 crawlers are most likely experiements of Dr. Friedrich Steiner and Dr. Kurt Blome. Maxis may have experimented with the gas or witnessed experiences done to create the Nova 6 crawlers, but he wasn't the mind behind it. Either way, it's pretty evident they are indeed part of the story behind zombies. ;)
  19. Join Round 97 session in progress? Why yes, yes I will.
  20. Could you post the video or link on here for me please? I'd like to check it out and I'm having trouble finding it on YT.
  21. I was browsing through the Black Ops Facebook page, and noticed two new dates on the timeline: 1943 and 1959. These dates were added as recently as the beginning of May 2012, and are dated way past the first Black Ops game. They said they will be updating their timeline within the upcoming weeks, and it appears they're hinting at Nova 6's continued threat in BO2. It appears that Nova 6 will be an emerging threat and factor in the next game. The tidbit about Dragovich's approval of Nova 6's use in WW3 is also interesting. We know we build up to the events in the future year of 2025, and that is most likely when Nova 6 is the emerging threat. The Russians still have Nova 6 weapons ready for use despite the efforts of Mason and Hudson at the end of Black Ops. The Americans may have discovered this potential threat sometime after and began to build a massive advanced unmanned army. An unmanned army we eventually "lose the keys" to and are used against us. If Nova 6 will play a significant role in 2025, I'm not sure, but it's going to play a role in the events leading up the future, that's for sure. UPDATE 6/20/12 Another update has been made! April 17, 1961. It appears they truly are piecing together this story piece by piece. I will be monitoring the page daily for any updates made and get them posted here. Stay tuned!
  22. Didn't catch it myself. I'm waiting for someone to upload it to youtube but nothing yet. Their post on Facebook from June 12th has got me on edge.
  23. Welcome my friend! Sounds like we have the exact type of players you're looking for.Sticking with the classics with W@W eh? Do you own Black Ops or just dont play it or what? I just picked up a PS3, still gotta get a name and Black Ops, but hopefully we can play sometime. Welcome!
  24. DONT BRAINS ME FOR THIS IF ANYONE SEES IT. This is directly quoting perfectlemonade from another thread. Click HERE to give him brains for all this: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=20845#p198852. It'll take you right to that post, which definately deserves some brains. It's gone rather unnoticed. BTW andrew, that is just about the most epic reply to a thread I've ever seen
  25. Here, you mention the singing in Shangri-La, however I can say that they are not the Vril-ya. I am listening to the CoD XP Zombies Panel and it was asked about the nursery rhyme that can be heard in Shangri-La, and they say that it is Samantha's Lullaby and they drop into a few maps every once in a while with the intention of being eerie. They say it has no major significance, other than that. [brains] Thanks for checking that out for me Tac! It always bugged me not knowing if it was suppose to be some hidden message or just jibberish there for effect. Turns out it was the latter. Mystery solved. BTW I'm missing you guys on Skype! Works just been hell lately. Can't wait for the end of August for the season to be over with!
