Here's some quotes to back up Alpha. Maxis is definately dead and trapped in Aether. Maxis is dead, but in the Aether. The theory that Richtofen was the shooter is about the best theory I've heard. I've also contemplated if it was just a member of security that shoots him after Maxis tells her to kill them all. But I think it's just one of those things we'll never know for sure. Anywho, this just BEGS the question of what exactly the Aether is. Samantha and Maxis were both in the Aether together, yet could not find one another? Samantha found Gersch, so I'm sure she could find her own father. So where and what exactly is Aether? I've just finsihed The Coming Race, and boy does it get me wondering...

That's so crazy you mentioned that Alpha! I was going to make mention of that on the OP. Wasn't sure if it'd be a stretch saying it was his design. The quote is just Richtofen boasting about his own intelligence and idea. Knowing Ed, he just can't help but brag.

Maxis in the computer, Richtofen as the announcer, and the PA system computer quotes have been added. I'm having trouble finding Announcer Samantha quotes specific to Moon.

This does occasionally happen on Call of the Dead. What's happening is George is teleporting to another area of water immediately before going underwater. If you look closely, you can see George teleport and a quick red flash appear before disappearing completely. Next time this happens, quickly run to a surrounding body of water to find your perk and Wunderwaffe. If the two bodies of water are close enough, you can still savage your rewards, but it's usually quite hard to get them if they're not close.

This actually makes total sense! The zombies die to power the controller! It fits very well into my DA thread as well, so I'm going to add this into it if you don't mind? I'll credit ya ofcourse. Of course feel free to use anything from this thread at your disposal. Credit is always very much appreciated, but not required. Regarding the last line, I'm unsure on that. You've provided a quote from Samantha, “No,NO! I hear the voices in YOUR head!”. But this plays during a Fire Sale, so I'm not sure if she is referring to the voices Richtofen heard because she is in him now, or the fact the Fire Sale music is Richtofen's thought's, etc. However, I'm inclined to believe the former one because 'YOUR' is emphasized, meaning Richtofen's head which Samantha is in. This means Richtofen doesn't have the voices anymore, and Samantha has them now. (Really Richtofen still has them, but he is not in his body anymore so he can't hear them) That's an excellent point my friend, I knew that quote would have some significance. This would indeed mean that the voices stay in the body when the souls are switched, and Samantha in Richtofen's body is now haunted by the voices. I'm so confused now. She says she had mercy on him, but the whole time during Ascension, she seems pissed off and chased after him the whole time. The only conclusion I can think of is perhaps she didn't hurt him right away? But why bring him into the Aether and do nothing to him? Perhaps torture and questioning him was the goal in the first place to get answers from him. He could've escaped her clutches , and that's why she was after him? But this may depend on how long it was between the Ascension radios, and Ascension itself. It's possible that he eluded her for the duration of his stay in the Aether. But I think Samantha would have taken mercy on Gersch, and this is why. Gersch was never meant to go to the Aether. Yuri tricked Gersch into getting sucked in by the Gersch Device. Gersch wasn't a bad person as far as we are aware. And Samantha most likely didn't know who he was either, so she may have been hesitant to destroy him. Or perhaps this had happened long before we got there, and Gersch was hiding in the Aether. When we arrived at the Russian facility, both Gersch and Samantha became aware of the 115 activity, and that's when Samantha realized Gersch was near. It's just so hard to tell without knowing more about the specifics of the Aether. I agree with this so much. I think it's Satan to be honest, but Satan was supposedly a Vril-Ya himself! So there ya go aha! Whether it's one or the other, they both fit the role perfectly, with enough evidence to support both of them being the voices. Hell, maybe they both are? Maybe the Vril-Ya are the voices and Lucifer is the ultimate controller? Whatever it is, Richtofen was a pawn indeed. Though I think it was destiny, even his fate. I don't think he was teleported to the cave with the MPD by chance. No, I think outside intervention was involved. But why him? Perhaps he's lust for power, control? Something very dark was attracted to Richtofen before this all started. We know he's a borderline sociopath and has no remorse for killing. Paranormal experts agree that spirits and demons are attracted to these type of emotionally distressed people. Perhaps the reason why the darkest of demons was attracted to him. We know from Richtofen's bio in SNN that he did some messed up stuff in his younger years, so I wouldn't be suprised that such an evil force would find him. I don't think they literally have green balls . I remember Richtofen saying "Do you like my glowing green balls" in Kino I think it was. This can be seen when we fill the viles of the pyramid on Moon. Notice Samantha's voice get much deeper than ever before. The lifeforce was giving her more strength than ever. This is the reason why as the zombie maps advanced, the zombies got quicker, and smarter. Their master (Samantha) got stronger the more zombies we killed, and thus her capabilities as master grew in the process. Samantha did not fully understand the position of power she held. To her it was in part just a game. However, with someone like Richtofen being the controller, things are much more drastic. One might assume it couldn't get worse than Richtofen being in charge. After doing his calculations (not without an attempted thwart by Maxis), Richtofen is able to harness the infinite energy of the vacuum of space to charge the Vril Generator with an enormous amount of energy. This energy, when near the Vril Pyramid, releases the viles to appear. The pyramid senses it's own energy in abundant amounts, thus the viles appear without any buttons or switches. The Casimir Effect can also be seen during the Easter Egg on Ascension. Throughout the Easter Egg, we continue to power Gersch's Casimir Mechanism prototype, but it never seems to have enough power to provide Gersch with a direct passage back to Ascension. It's not until we throw multiple Gersch Devices (creating a tremendous amount of vacuum btw) and use Wonder Weapons (powered by 115) that a powerful enough Casimir Effect to be created to power the Casimir Mechanism. Gersch is able to escape the Aether after we have done this, and his soul returns to Ascenion, and then floats up to the heavens. Ascension: When and why. Richtofen “Dr. Gersch. He would have fit into my project had he been born earlier” It's obvious by now why we traveled to Ascension. Richtofen took the gang there to use the Casimir Mechanism prototype created by Gersch to switch souls with Samantha. Upon arriving and hearing Gersch's predicament, Richtofen realizes that he cannot switch souls with Samantha simply by going to the Aether. That would just result in Sam tormenting him there. That's when he develops his plans for Griffin Station, travels to Call of the Dead and Shangri La for the items, and to then to Griffin Station. What has always been a question is the time of the event though. I believe this quote provides an answer. Gersch was too young when Richtofen first developed his plan to swtich bodies with Sam, thus he could not use Gersch to develop a "Richtofen Device". He had to travel foward in time to the base to retrieve the Gersche Device after it was completed. How he was aware of Gersch's creation is still unclear. Samantha took mercy on Gersch. As Richtofen got closer and closer to completing his plans, the voices got louder and louder (The voices in my head, they SCREAM!). The Vril Ya have used Richtofen to complete their plan of taking over Earth. It's how he knew the whereabouts of the Golden Rod and Focusing Stone. They TOLD him where it was. Richtofen was the perfect candidate for their plan. Everything's going according to plan. It's gonna be up to our crew to stop them. The Vril Ya are coming... Alternate Realities and Dimensions. This very quote could hint at alternate realities and dimension existing within the storyline of Zombies. Some theorists believe that alternate dimensions do indeed exist, this may provide some evidence to back up such claims. This quote is said when picking up a red, negative powerup that seemingly does nothing. It's possible this refers to the Aether being affected by the power, but I have my doubts with that. Some theorist argue this, but I believe the puts an end to the debate. The Takeo quote refers to the Richtofen shrine in Shangri La. Sophia. Samantha “First I’ll find Teddy, then Sophia” - sniper_4 While Sophia's nationality has never been confirmed, I believe the quote from Richtofen might give a hint at her nationality. I think it's safe to assume that when Richtofen says this, he's speaking from experience. And what's the only female that we know about besides Samantha? Sophia. Furthermore, I think the quote is referring to when Richtofen and Maxis were working together at Der Riese, and Sophia became a distraction to Maxis. Now I know Sophia was just Maxis' assistant, but this could mean that Americans we're indeed in Group 935. Also, based on Samantha's quotes about Teddy possibly being Richtofen, Sophia may be in the Aether as well. This can't be confirmed unless "Teddy's" identity can be confirmed. I'm pretty sure we don't know Sophia's nationality. Maybe she gave her voice for the computer or maybe not. It's possible. While her nationality has never been confirmed, I believe a quote from Richtofen from Moon might give a hint at her nationality. I'll quote Richtofen: "What is it with Groph’s obsession with American women, all they do is play games!" I think it's safe to assume that when Richtofen says this, he's speaking from experience. And what's the only female that we know about besides Samantha? Sophia. Furthermore, I think the quote is referring to when Richtofen and Maxis were working together at Der Riese, and Sophia became a distraction to Maxis. I'm starting to believe Sophia was indeed American. Speaking of Sophia, I'm currently doing an analysis on the Moon quotes, and here's one I found to be a bit interesting. Samantha says this when picking a sniper rifle out of the box (1 of 5 possible quotes). It's just a bit....odd. “First I’ll find Teddy, then Sophia” *Note: Teddy could be a refernce to Richtofen. I noted that on the thread. It does seem to leave a big question of course of what happens in that 12 or so year period (assuming the girl on the poster is Sam at the age of 21). It leads to even bigger questions of how they inevitably end up getting her body out of the pyramid. We know how to switch the souls of the bodies, but not the bodies itself. It begins to add questions about the Vril Yyramid. Is there anyway to get her body out? Will any body be accepted into the pyramid? Does her body age while in the pyramid? The image certainly just leads to more questions than answers if it truly is Samantha.

I believe Hellhounds were originally planned for Griffin Station, but they decided to cut the idea to just having dogs in the beginning at NML. Richtofen actually has a few unused quotes like this. I'm doing an analysis of his Moon quotes at the moment that should be out in a couple hours that talks about this.

I feel the same way about it Jay. But it s cause I'm just blown away on how good Super is. I mean 100 rounds with no downs and doing it 4 times. That's past the point of insane.

Just got done listening to the Moon quotes, and happened upon quotes from Maxis on the computer in Griffin Station. It doesn't look like CJ uploaded these quotes. At the end of the video, there is one quote that is unused from the Big Bang Theory achievement, which occurs after Earth has been hit by the bombs. To quote Maxis: "Well , that was a much larger explosion than I anticipated. I have done all I can. I simply hope those calculations were correct." iDl1IScEYgU Maxis' intentions were never to completely blow up the Earth, but to target precise coordinates that will stop the zombie outbreak, but not wipe out man completely. As Maxis said, his plan was to "limit the damage that Richtofen will inevitably cause", not to blow it up completely. To continue the story, the calculations Maxis made were just a bit off, and some of the zombies survived the blast. With the world in shambles, the infection grows back just as quickly as it broke out, and Richtofen once again has his army of the undead to rule. It's the gang's job to stop Richtofen, once again. Samantha (in Ed's body) works with the gang to get her body back, and take her revenge on Richtofen for what he's done. Takeo, with his complete memory back, voews to take revenge on all remaining members of 935, hinting that Group 935, or it's members at the least, are still active. Takeo: I promise to destroy every last remnant of Group 935! I will destroy them all!" Samantha: "But I want my body back! And I will destroy that evil Richtofen for taking daddy away!" So we've got two possibilities for how they can stop Richtofen's reign. 1.) They travel back in time to stop Richtofen. 2.) They travel to a partly destroyed Earth, and stop Richtofen. I know what you're thinking, how in the heck would they get back to Earth, if Richtofen, the only one that knew how to time travel is in the pyramid and unwilling to help them? There's a few possibilties 1. They return to Earth through Area 51. To a partly destroyed Earth. It's that simple. If the Earth has been "destroyed" by the bombs, why does Area 51 exist? Well because Maxis' calculations were off, and Area 51 was not fully destroyed. The teleporter still works. The zombies still existant in Area 51 after the Big Bang Theory is completed is the very proof that the blast did not fully destroy the Earth, and that the infection continued. The blast partly destoys Eart's Atmosphere, making the stars much more visible when you return there. 2. Maxis, still in the computer at Griffin Station, helps them return to Earth by some means in the past or present time to stop Richtofen. Remember, Maxis is still in the computer at Griffin Station. He would be able to help the crew return to the past by modifying the teleporter at Griffin Station. It's hard to say what they'll do if they do go back in time to stop Richtofen, but I'm sure Treyarch could make it work. However, I'm leaning more towards this. If they return to Earth in present or future times, when they arrive, the Earth is in shambles from the blast. This image could be a possible hint of what to expect. Note: if this is Samantha Maxis, that leaves about a 13 year gap from the events of Moon (assuming her body in Moon is around age 8 or 9). Also note that the second image has never been confirmed by a reliable source, and may just be a well done photoshop. It does fit this scenario quite nicely though: The '1221' on her hat, well it represents, as some of you may have guessed, December 21, 2012. This is the date of the of the apocolypse. And that apocolypse was Maxis bombing the Earth. The Mayan's refer to it as the end of the 52 year calender cycle, and predicted not exactly that the world would end, but that a new cycle would begin. The new cycle begins with Richtofen's ruling of the undead army. Treyarch has hinted at this conclusion since Call of the Dead. You may recall this poster: This is the 52 year calender cycle of the Mayans. "52 anos" = "52 years" Treyarch stated that zombies would be irrelvant to the campaign storyline and that they'd let the zombie team go in whatever direction they wanted. This may have been a reference to the world being destroyed in the world of zombies, but not in the campaign world. Where exactly the story goes when they return is still unclear, but the story will continue. As Treyarch said themselves, Moon was a season finale, a climax of the story. And we are yet to reach our series finale, OUR FINAL CONCLUSION. Shooter

I think Aether is an unlikely choice. Follow me here. Richtofen teleports Maxis and Sam from Der Riese. We know Sam ends up at the Moon, Maxis we're not sure of. Now, we also know that immediately after Sam arrives at Griffin Station, she runs past security and runs into the MPD aka the Vril Pyramid aka Aether. So Sam's in Aether almost immediately after Ed teleported them from Der Riese. Meanwhile, Maxis is teleported to a "wretched tunnel". If this tunnel was indeed Aether, Maxis and Sam would have been reunited and the events that followed at Griffin Station most likely wouldn't have occured. Therefore, we can conclude this tunnel was not Aether. So how do we know the "wretched tunnel" is Shangri La? Well here's my theory. Up to that point in time, Richtofen had only successfully teleported to two places, Moon and a "jungle"(after touching the pyramid for the first time). One could assume the "jungle" and "wretched tunnel" would be the same location. So what location has a jungle and tunnel? Shangri La. It wouldn't quite make sense for Richtofen to send Maxis somewhere like Paris. And let's be honest, Richtofen isn't exactly known for his accurate time traveling skills anyways. This is supported by the fact he warns Groph and Schuster to look out for Maxis and Fluffy after he teleported them all from Der Riese. Clearly Maxis and hellhounds didnt up at Der Riese, so in reality Richtofen had no idea where they went, Hence why he's suprised to hear San ended up at Griffin Station. He wouldn't be able to control where Maxis is sent, because well, he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. So if Ed can't control where they're sent, and Maxis didn't go to the Moon, he went to the only other known teleportable location, a "jungle and wretched tunnel, Shangri La.
