Good to see you making a proper introduction NoQuarter! Short and to the point, I like it! Welcome And enjoy! Like all the regulars above me said, we're not the type of people that make assumptions about new members. After all, we were all new at one point. Here's some fresh [brains] to get your appetite going

To unlock "Nightmare" by Avenged Sevenfold/Get the One Giant Leap achievement, you must have both Tunnel 6 and Tunnel 11 being breached by the excavators. Then you and a teammate must teleport to No Man's Land and come back to the spawn room (recieving area). Then whoever is trying to get the achievement needs to kill themselves (downed and bleed out). Then the 1 remaining person kills the last of the zombies to start the next round. Once it starts, the song will begin to play, and you'll get the achievement. Here's a video about it from CoDz own LiamFTWinter UKq_oed-IrM

Yes, unfortunately this glitch has been occurring since Moon was released for 360. It can be a game ending glitch if it happens with the Biodome.

A.) The order seems to be completely random. I tend to spend alot of time now looking up at those power-ups, and it seems like every time the order changes. I have seen no particular patterns in regards to the order. B.) I believe the pads are also totally random. I've hit that pad by Flopper a ridiculous amonth of times (I get impatient waiting for people to hit the box Haha. That and I have problems standing still). And I've noticed it seems completely random on which direction it shoots you in. Also, the order of pads seems to be completely random. It really is hard to tell exactly where you'll end up when you take them. C.)The only way I tend to get the power ups is if it's at the first launch pad floating in the air. I do know that when the power up first appears, it will stay in it's first location for a good 7 or 8 seconds, giving me plenty of time to go get it. It will also stay in the second location for 3 or 4 seconds. So if you time it right, you can get one of the two first powerups that appear. Generally, if I don't like the first thing that pops up, I'l ltry to get the second one. After that, it can be extremely hard to get the powerups as they're blinking and moving to fast. These are all jsut observations of course. I'd also love to see what the actual coding has to say about this.

Thanks for the kind words Supa! I wanna do another guide, but I think just about all the maps have a guide written up for them now.
-
You may also want to note, if you let a monkey steal a Max Ammo, one of the power ups that will come up is a free perk bottle. Time it right, and you can get a free perk doing this.
-
You can also choose to ride out the launch pads. As long as you land on each one, and then land on the pillow looking white pad on the ground when you come down, you won't get hurt.
-
Thanks for the kind words Well it's certainly sad to see you go Sicktrickz. You were a great addition to the site. Perhaps you can still check in from time to time? Ultimately you should definately keep schoolwork your priorty, but there's nothing with jumping on zombies from time to time when yo uget a chance. We at least know we'll see you back here next year when zombies is back though, right?

That's what I was wondering.... or vise versa, if you have a Ray Gun, and then pull a Porter's X2 from the QED. Maybe the game registers if you have the ray gun in a solo game and deletes it from the list of possible drops, but keeps the possibility open in MP because your team mates should have the ability to still get it. IDK, just pondering here. I wouldn't dismiss it as a possibilty. Perhaps someone knows if the computer registers what weapons you have before spawning a weapon drop? It'd be worth investigating, but would probably be extremely hard to recreate as the QEDs are so unpredictable.
-
No, it is only possible by having someone else hack you a Ray Gun out of the box. It works like this: One person has an Upgraded Ray Gun. The other person who hits and hacks the box cannot have any Ray Gun (regular or Porter X2). He must hit the box once, hack the first weapon, and then hope a Ray Gun comes up on the second pull. He then hacks the Ray Gun, and the other guy picks it up, giving him the Ray Gun (along with his Porter X2.) If the guy with the Ray Gun and Porter X2 tries to upgrade the Ray Gun, the computer will register you have two of the same gun, and take one away and just fill up your ammo for the X2 you already have. You might be able to do it on Solo by having a Porter X2, throwing a QED, and picking up a Ray Gun drop. But I'm not sure if it's possible. I don't know if the computer registers what guns you have before the QED gives you a drop.
-
Yes, you can do it with any two guns as long as one's upgraded and one's not like Chopper said. Example: you could have an RPK and a R115 Resonator. The only weapon you can't do this with is the Wave Gun as there's only 1 per box.

Hmm, well I recognize your name Wolfie, so you gotta be pretty active round here. I wouldn't consider yourself a stranger or nobody at all! Just put yourself into the discussions more when you can and you'll find yourself racing to come back to this site like you originally did. Plus if you stick around now, when Treyarch's next CoD comes out and the zombie craze comes back, you'll be a regular and reputable member here. Stick around man! We need ya! And I'd tell you to send me a friend request so we could get down on some zombies sometime, but I'm on 360 :(

Good stuff way2g00, thanks for posting that! [brains] I don't think there's an actual order that they come up. I'd imagine that it produces a random list of the powerups, which changes every time you play. What way2g00 was saying is that the order is always random, but when the Fire Sale comes up in that order, and the box hasn't moved positions yet, it will skip the Fire Sale and go to the next powerup on that random list. Correct way2g00? Or am I misinterpreting the data?
-
I don't think the power affects it. I'm pretty sure that you can't get a Firesale until someone hits the box though.

Totally understand! Don't ever hesitate to throw your ideas out there here at CoDz man. One of the best parts about this site is being able to bounce ideas off one another without this overwelming amount of negative feedback or criticism that you get with most forums. In fact, some of the best ideas come out of things htat might seem crazy at first, ya know? Keep the ideas coming man!

Technically, no one's really wrong on it. Seeing as no people were alive at that point to see what actually went down, nobody can say for sure what happened exactly. Hence why these things are all theories and hypothesis. So no apologies needed Tac!
-
The generally accepted theory is that it's an asteroid which was pulled in by the gravitational pull of the Earth. All I can say is that I've never heard either or your two theories. And that video has been on this site for a while Gonna be an astronomy prick/nerd here, but actually the accepted theory is that, way back in the early days of the solar system, a planet collided with Earth and the remaining bits of the planet formed the moon. You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_impact_hypothesis That was my understanding of it as well. Either way though, that's still pretty crazy stuff.
-
well obviously it was built before 2012 cause maxis and samantha are gone already. but thats a good point. but brings up my other point of maybe cotd happened in the laterER future and they just learnd to cope with nucular fall out Eh I'm not really sold on this. I just doubt the last thing they would be doing after a nulcear fallout would be shooting some movie. Plus considering these nukes traveled from Moon to Earth in a matter of 30 seconds, these had to be some bad ass nukes. It would take a long time to recover from such an event. And judging by the age of the actors and George, it's very close to the present date 2011. CotD's gotta come before Moon.

Superhands' detailed 50+ solo COTD strategy
Shooter replied to Superhands's topic in Call Of The Dead
Great stuff here Superhands! Another great Solo strategy from the Solo king! [brains] -
Nope, One person in the group has to have the ensemble the cast easter egg from COTD and the shangri-La Acquire the Focusing Stone for the Moon EE to work. I think the problem with the OP was a member of his group only had the COTD EE done. In that case, Richthofen WILL spawn with just the Golden rod and NOT the focusing stone, and hence, why i think he couldn't put it between the plates What OP are you referring to? I mentioned in the beginning of my guide that someone has to have completed BOTH eggs to be able to complete the Big Bang Theory Easter Egg. I believe Jrag was asking if you can have either the CotD Solo egg, or CotD Co-op egg (in addition to Shangri La). I'd assume you'd have to do the Co-Op part of the egg for it to qualify. Not 100% sure though. Has anyone that has only done the Solo CotD egg in addition to the Shangri La egg? This is a pretty good question Jrag.

I think World War 3 might be kicking off with another console war flame contest, but I will tell you this. I have had my first generation Xbox 360 Elite (the first black 360 and the first one to include the HDMI cable with the system) for 4 years without absolutely ANY problems. I bought it in summer 2007, and have played hundreds of 8+ hour zombie games, and never had any problems. There's time where I forgot to turn it off completely and the thing has never has any problems with overheating, RROD, or "turning off". I'm not quite sure why you're having so much problems with yours. :?
