Perhaps another Monkey needs to be thrown in the Speed Cola room by the window that you can hear a man screaming in? Just throwing ideas out there. I for one find it very strange no Eggs exist on Kino.

While I agree that that's the most surefire way of getting back to spawn, it's just as easy to save a crawler or hoard all the zombies up and then go. As long as you do one of the two, you shouldn't have any problems running back. I never have a problem just running back to the spawn. Really the only time I use the teleporter to get back is if the 60 second warning goes off and I'm still in the biodome. To each his own I suppose, just saying the teleporter is really not required.

Someone just requested this on another thread, so I thought I'd make a topic with it. Here's the tutorial in step-by-step order. PM me or post a respond here if there's any questions. Note that some of these steps can be done in different orders (like the plates, the ball, etc.) A thanks to i am richtofen for informing me of alternative wire spawn locations. ***NOTE***: Someone in your party MUST have previously completed the Call of the Dead and Shangri-La Easter Eggs in order to complete this. Also note that while these steps do move in a general direction, these steps CAN be performed in random order for the most part. For example, you can teleport the plates at Area 51 or pick up the wire in the lab at any time during the game. Step 1: Sam Says. Right outside the spawn downstairs there's a set of computers. Repeat the color pattern 3 or 4 times until all computers blink green. Power must be on before doing this step. Step 2: Hack the Lab Computer Terminals. In the second level of the lab you'll see 4 computers on the wall. Equip the hacker and hack the computer on the right (cost 500 points). After hacking the initial computer, there will be 4 terminals scattered through the three levels of the lab that you must now hack. You can identify it by the green light shining on it. You must do this within 60 seconds. Afterwards, return to the computer you initially hacked, and press x on each computer to turn on the activstion light. You must press them quickly in sequence or they'll turn back off. Step 3: The Artifact in Tunnel 6. Wait until the excavator breaches Tunnel 6, and hack the computer at the spawn to remove the saw. Head back to Tunnel 6 and you'll see the Artifact (ball) on the ground next to the M16. Knife the ball and follow it back to the spawn. It will float up onto a satellite above the spawn room, use the Wave Gun to shoot it down and continue to follow it through to Tunnel 11. At one point the ball gets stuck in the ceiling in the Stamin-Up room, shoot it to unwedge it. Follow it to the pyramid. A vile should then rise from the corner of the pyramid. Step 4: Collect the Souls. After the vile appears, you must kill 25-30 zombies next to the vile to fill it up. A sound can be heard once it's filled. Also note the red smoke will stop appearing from the dead zombies once it's filled all the way. Step 5: Cryogenic Slumber Party. Hit the switch on the wall near the full vile, and you'll be done with the first part. Your reward is a 90 second Death Machine. Sound familiar? TIP: Wait to hit the switch for the DMs until you have to fill up the four viles on the corners for Step 8. It will make that step much easier to complete. Step 6: Collect the Plates. Teleport to Area 51, and on the right hand side you'll see some plates on a shelf of a storage container (they're sitting vertically). Throw a grenade or two to knock them down on the ground. Then throw a Gersch to teleport them onto the teleporter. When you go back to Moon, you'll see the plates on the ground near Quick Revive. Throw a QED at the plates to transfer them to the computer across the room. Step 7: The Wire, The Golden Rod, and the Computer. If you haven't found the wire yet, look for it somewhere in the 3 levels of the lab. Hold x to pick it up. It'll appear in your inventory when you have it. Return to the computer and the plates and attach the wire. Place the Golden Rod in between the plates. Whoever is Richtofen must now keep pressing x (square) at the computer until you can't anymore. Remove the newly powered rod afterwards. EDIT: The piece of wire can also be found outside by the teleporter, and in the spawn room. It usually spawns in the lab, but it can also spawn elsewhere. Step 8: Collect More Souls. Head back to the pyramid and have Richtofen walk up to it. 4 viles will now appear in each corner. Fill these up like last time. It's relatively easy if one or two of you have Ray Gun or Wave Gun. After all 4 viles are filled, have Richtofen place the rod in the pyramid. Whoever is playing as Richtofen will get all 8 perks now. Step 9: Transfer the Artifact. Notice the Artifact (ball) is misaligned in it's hole on the pyramid. Throw a QED to transfer it to the Sam Says computers for the final steps. You'll see it disappear and reappear by the Sam Says computer if you threw the QED correctly. Step 10: Sam Says Part II. Play Sam Says again. This time there will be 3 levels instead of one. A sound will verify you completed each level correctly, along with the blinking green screens. This Sam Says is noticable more difficult than the first time around. Step 11: Teleport the Artifact. After completing all 3 levels of Sam Says part II, throw a Gersch at the Artifact (ball) to teleport it to the launch platform and to complete the Easter Egg. Sit back, enjoy the show, and reap the benefits of your hard work!

Another tip for number one. On the higher rounds (30+), it's easier to just wait for all the zombies to spawn and max out, and then have one of your teammates go hack the excavator. There's barely any zombies if any for the guy that's hacking the excavator. Works great for saving the Biodome.

4 Box locations: spawn room, power room, biodome, and on the moon surface near teleporter and mule kick.

Just wanted feedback from you guys on the circumstances leading to this glitch happening. The glitch where it says the excavator has been stopped from breaching, but it still breaches any way (invisible saw cuts into building). I initially thought that this only happened after completing the entire Easter Egg. The only two times I've experienced this glitch is after we completed Big Bang. But then I read one of the member's post on here and he said he didn't do the EE and still experienced this glitch. So I'm thinking multiple Hackers is the cause? I'm also pretty sure both times I experienced the glitch me and a buddy both had hackers (hitting x on hacker at the same time gives you both hacker if you weren't yet aware). Could this be the reason this glitch happens? Or does it just glitch out sometimes without either of these two events happening. Just want feedback for anyone this has happened to. I'd like to go for another 50+ run, but am hesitant as last time we got to Round 40 and this glitch happened. Any feedback is appreciated guys. Thanks! Shooter

I'm with you grix! I'll be playing that same role as a support guy. I play mostly objective based games (Domination FTW!), so I'm huge on helping the team as a whole to win. My teammates can go ahead and get 75+ kills on an objective based game. They can just thank me later for all the ballistic vests, blackbirds, and escort airdrops I'm giving them.
-
Smart man way2goo, I'll be sure to come back and brains you. This is EXACTLY what me and my buddy do in the 30+ rounds. We camp in the Dome, and whenever we hear the anouncment about the excavator going for the Dome we horde two circles until they're all out, merge the two so one person can run back and stop the excavators. And when we play, we both will get the hacker by hitting it at the same time. That way either one of us can run back and stop it.

Died in Area 51 for no reason! This happen to anyone else?
Shooter replied to ZombiesJunkie12's topic in Moon
A QED may be the reason you teleported. I've been teleported many times by someone throwing a QED, but it's never made me go down. People online say that it can teleport and kill your teammates, but I'm yet to see proof of it. I will mention that there are quite a few glitches on Moon that need to be patched, so this may just be another one. -
That's a Pro Tip right there! For sure is! Definately helps when you're trying to get a certain item out of the box. You can also use the hacker to give a teammate a second Ray Gun. If you have no Ray Gun, your teammate already has to have a Porter X2, and you have to get a ray gun on the second hack and hack if for your teammate. He'll then have the Porter X2 and the ray gun. Just make sure he doesn't try to upgrade the second one or he'll lose it. When I play two player, we'll have one guy have ray gun, porter x2, and M+S. And the other player has ray gun or porter x2, M+S, and Wave Gun/Dual zaps. LBoth people have Gersches and Hacker, and run circles in the Dome. You can get to the forties pretty fast when doing this. As long as the excavator doesn't glitch out that is.
-
So In theory this could also be used to your advantage, By getting the Box where you want it. Then Hacking all the rest of the locations, Hence "forcing" the box to stay in one location for a longer time. Or is it still just random? Oh ya this is my first post on this site after a couple years of lurking, Big ups to all the heads who are making things happen here. God I love this Game! Yup, this is true. When me and a buddy play, we'll wait til the box is in the dome, and then hack the other 3 box locations. This keeps the box in the dome for at least 50+ hits. Not to mention you can hack whenever you take a pull while in the Dome.
-
1. Hold X to hack. 2. Yes, 4 box locations (spawn, power room, on moon surface, and biodome) 3. Phaser Nova Crawlers only appear in the three levels of the lab, usually coming from the heating vents in the ceiling. 4. If you're going for high score, I'd recommend M+S. It can be quite difficult to make enough points to pack-a-punch, and you'll most likely struggle to make 5000 if you spend the 2500 on Jugg. 5. The excavator will take a few minutes before it actually breaches the station. It'll give 3 initial warnings, a 60 second warning, and a 30 second warning. 6. The zombies will run below you until you land back on the ground. It's impossible to stay up on them as they will bounce you off every time. Also the initial pads that launch you turn on amd off randomly. 7. Gersches. Helps with reviving, perfect for hacking power ups for max ammo. Plus QEDs can be unpredictable. 8. You get teleported, but you don't lose your perks. 9. You can try throwing a QED at him, sometimes it does kill him. But keep in mind the QED could do almost anything. Id recommend NOT throwing gersches at the Moonman. He'll most likely end up glitching out a start chasimg you backwards. It gets annoying after awhile. 10. A train around the pyramid is possible, but not too good on later rounds. There is low gravity in the pyramid room, the spaces can get tight, and the zombie's movement can be unpredictable. 11. Hacker at all times unless you're spending significant time outside. You get a bonus just for carrying the hacker during a round. Plus hacker is crucial to high round success. 12. Mule Kick is definately worth it! Not so much in the early rounds, but the later rounds for sure. The additional firepower iz never a bad thing. Mustang and Sallys are even better now that you have 3 slots. The combination of Porter X2, M+S, and Wave gun is an awesome setup to have. 13. Yes, that's true. That means if one of you goes down before gettin on the teleporter you must either revive him (sucks on NML) or wait for him to bleed out. Can get frustrating when someone doesn't know what they're doing. 14. No, there's no MP40 on the map. 15. The Wave Gun and Zap Guns are the same gun. They come as dual wield zap guns with about 70 shots. Pressing left on the d-pad turms the dual zaps into the wave gun, with about 15 shots for the wave gun. Wave gun can kill multiple zombies at once like a Thundergun or Shrink Ray. Zap guns are one hit one kill, but you can only kill one at a time. The electricity doesn't link together for kills like the DG-2.

Did it look anything like this... Who You Gonna Call?! No, I haven't seen any gooey slimers on Moon.

Here we go, some basic tips for first time player: No Man's Land and the Teleporter. When starting the map, you'll be in Area 51 (No Man's Land). Note that ALL players must be on the teleporter before teleporting to the Moon. This means if a teammate goes down before getting on the teleporter, you must either: go revive him, or wait for him to die out. This sounds much is easier than it actually is. No Grenades in the Spawn Room! I'd advise against throwing grenades in the spawn room at Moon. If you do, you could blow the windows out, which makes hacking the exgavator more difficult. It's still possible to Hack the excavators with the windows blown, so don't freak out if it happens. Also, you can throw grenades in the spawn room without blowing the windows out, as long as the grenade lands in the middle of the room. I'd again advise against it though because low gravity can complicate a grenade throw. No Grenades in the Labratory. This is more because of the Easter Egg, as you will be spending some time in here without your helmet and with the hacker. Also, keeping the lab oxginated will make it easier for hacking exgavators in the later rounds. You can hold your breath for quite awhile. You'd be suprised how long you can go without air. I'm not quite sure how long exactly, but play around with it for a little bit and you'll get the feel for it. As a general rule, you always have enough air to run from each indiviual airlock (which is always suppied with air). I can run from the Biodome to Spawn with a helmet and all the windows blown out, you just have to be quick. Also when running to spawn without a helmet, you don't have to stop in any of the airlocks to get your breath. The one second you spend running through that airlock will restore your breath to normal. Be aware if you have the Hacker. I know it sounds stupid, but I can't count how many times I've ran outside without noticing I still had Hacker. The exgavator takes time to breach the building. There are 3 or 4 initial warnings before the 60 second and 30 second warning. As long as you're in the lab by the time the 60 second warning is heard, you should be able to make it back in time to stop it from breaching. In the early rounds, you'll have plenty of time to finish the round, make a crawler, and then go hack the exgavator. Stamin-up helps tremendously with getting back to the spawn quickly. Max your points on a window hack. When going to hack a window for repair, you only need one board missing to hack the window for a 100 points. Rebuild the window up to one board, then hack for the 100 points. Empty windows will net you 150 points each. Beats 60 points any day. USE THE HACKER! It's a game changer! Fu453 already listed the possibilities of the Hacker above, but that thing really is a game changer! Not to mention the bonus points you get just for carry the freaking thing. It's around 2500 points each round in the high 30's. The best use of the hacker is for hacking max ammos, which makes the higher rounds much, much easier! Look out for that Launch Pad. If you don't have Jugg or PhD, be careful taking the launch pads. If you fall off any of the higher ones or miss your landing, you will definately go down. On some of the lower ones, you can jump off of the pad and still survive. Be careful with the QEDs. The QED can do some great things, but it can also screw you over. There's nothing worse than all 3 of your teammates getting teleported across the map halfway through Round 30. If you can, throw them at the beginning of the round. QEDs can also spawn more zombies (a small flickering white light will emit), which at the end of a round can be a real pain. Give your teammate 2 Ray Guns. Ok, this one's a little more than basic, but extremely useful for getting through the higher rounds. Your teammate must already have an upgraded Ray Gun, and you can't have one at all. You must then hit the box, hack the first weapon, then hope the Ray Gun comes up on the second pull. Hack it for your buddy, and BAM he's got two Ray Guns! But you gotta make sure he DOES NOT try to upgrade it after he gets it. It'll register as a gun you already have, so you'll get ammo for your Porter X2, but lose the Ray Gun. Doing this will help get to Round 40 or 50+ without a ridiculous amount of time. One player has a Ray Gun, Porter X2, and Mustang and Sally, and the other has Porter X2, Mustang and Sally, and Wave Gun. Me and a buddy got to Round 40 with that setup in just under 3 hours.
-
Just a note, but the box will eventually move back to the other spots after a given amount of time or hits(not sure which one it's determined). We had the box in the Biodome for I would say between 70-80 hits before it finally moved back to a previously hacked location. So basically hacking an empty box location blocks that location from getting the box for a certain amount of time (or hits). EDIT: BTW to Fu, you've been putting up some great threads lately that are well written that you don't seem to get a lot of praise for. But keep it up! The posts are great!

Is Treyarch focusing too much on story over gameplay?
Shooter replied to BizBloodshot's topic in Treyarch
I might have possibly said yes to focusing more on the story, until Moon dropped. It such a fun map and adds a whole bunch of new gameplay elements. Fluctuating gravity, the new Hacker device, a QED grenade that can totally change the outcome of a game, No Man's Land. They've really added alot more gameplay elements in Moon that makes it one of the funnest and most replayable map to date. To the OP, I have no idea why that guy on the FB page would say that Moon sucks. That guy's smoking something crazy, that I for once don't want to take a hit of Stoner joke, sorry. -
Ah thanks. Didn't notice that was one of the videos on the list. No wonder I couldn't find it with a search. At least now people can find this easier :D
-
Hmm I did a bit of a search before posting this topic. Could you please refer me to that post that Carbon was talking about it? I'm on here quite often, and I don't recall ever coming across him mentioning it.

Here ya go, recorded a quick clip for you. Nothing happens unforunately. 00Q4aKVcg4Q

I know everybody knows about Elena's song "Coming Home" and Avenged Sevenfold's "Nightmare" (which is an awesome zombie-slaying song BTW). But I haven't seen anything about these other two songs. Each one is a little over a minute each. The first one sounds like a game over song, and the other is an arcade-influenced song (like DOA's opening song). Just a quick note but I had to turn on the power before I could activate the songs. Here's a video I made with the songs. (Don't mind my dancing ) -GqCEVjODG0 That makes 4 songs in total for this map if you count these two mini-songs. Kinda makes me wonder if there's any more hidden gems in the map. Any one know of any more? Sorry if someone already made a topic on this. I searched a little bit and couldn't find anything.

Additional Kino Easter Eggs on Wii version
Shooter replied to MixMasterNut's topic in Kino Der Toten
Wii's Kino Der Toten gets a freakin' AUG wall weapon!?! I'm pretty jealous, I must say. -
I sure hope so. It's really discouraged me from trying to go for high rounds now. After playing 38 rounds, making great time, and then the excavtor glitches out and destroys the dome. It's like Treyarch pulled our 50+ round game right out from underneath us  . It's completely pointless to do the Easter Egg for high rounds cause the excavator will just end up glitching out. I mean cmon Treyarch get on this one. I'm just venting guys, sorry. If it happens to you though you'll see what I mean.
-
I can't say how badly Treyarch messed up by letting this glitch slip past them. I've experienced this stupid glitch the last two nights in a row. I've come to the conclusion this only happens after completing the full Easter Egg and then going for high rounds. We were on Round 38 and the excavator came back for the Biodome. I went and excavated it right when the round started, got a 1000 points, the voice said I stopped the Dome from being breached. And what do you know 30 seconds later an invisible saw breaks into the Biodome, ruining our chances for a 50+ run. We had got to Round 40 and just quit because the rounds took too long with gravity in the dome. The saw in tunnel 11 was glitched out too. You can't stop them either as the game thinks they're not on, thus you can't hack them. Moon was gonna be my absolute favorite map until I kept experiencing this annoying ass glitch. I hope this happens to no one else, cause you'll be pissed!
