"Arm yourself with a space-age arsenal of epic proportions, including the Wave Gun, capable of cooking zombies from the inside out, as well as the Quantum Entanglement Device, which taps into the theories of quantum mechanics to bless (or curse!) your battle against the undead. Along with new equipment and an all-new Perk for thrice the zombie-slaying fun, you'll have the tools you need to turn back the undead tide once and for all." The wording from Treyarch is truly classic. They could be saying that the new weapons (1), new equipment (2), and new perk (3) would make for the "thrice the zombie-slaying fun". If this is really what they meant, then it's reasonable to believe that there would be new equipment coming as well. (QED was described as a weapon in first sentence, not as equipment) QED and Wave Gun = 1x slaying QED and Wave Gun, New Equipment = 2x slaying QED and Wave Gun, New Equipment, New Perk = 3x slaying However, you could also read it as, along with the new weapons and equipment, there is "an all-new perk for thrice the zombie-slaying fun". This seems to make more sense grammar-wise IMO. It seems like they're just describing a little bit of what the new perk does. This seems more logical to me. Whether it's a 3 gun perk (would be sweet!) or 3x times the ammo (seems overpowering) or whatever, this perk will kick ass! Damn you Treyarch! Why do you have to make your descriptions so confusing!

I like to get Jugg as soon as I can on CotD. I usually stay in the first room til Round 4 or 5. I buy the M14 and QR to ensure there's no probelms going down. The M14 should be more than enough to survive the early rounds, just go for headshots. Then I head up to the power room boat and buy the MPL. Stay on the first level for as long as you can then head upstairs. Buy the M16 if you need it. Camp at the top of the power room area (without opening the power room door). Just watch the stairs and the one window, back up to the zipline if it gets crazy, and take it if you get overrun. There usually wont be many left after you take the zipline, but run circles by QR if you need to until the end of the round.Stay up there until you earn 5500 points, then make a crawler, turn on the power, and go buy jugg. From there you can run circles wherever you feel best. I usually run circles at the bottom or 2nd level of the lighthouse, depending on what doors you open. The key is really to get Jugg as soon as you can on this map.

I'm wondering if there's maybe low gravity when you're outside, allowing you to jump higher. That would make a lot of sense if they did that. Or maybe a switch the player or team activates that creates low gravity in certain areas of the level. I LOVE the idea of an airlock type trap. Hahaha I can just imagine watching hordes of zombies floating out into orbit. Another cool thing would be a launcher type thing that's outside that launches them out into space when u activate it. I just want to see little zombie constellations all over the night sky :D

I love how these guys don't even mention they've had the maps exclusively for the last 9 months. Feel like you got nothing from buying the Hardened edition? DUDE YOU HAD 9 MONTHS OF EXCLUSIVE ZOMBIE CONTENT. Why do you guys not account for this? For those of us that couldn't buy Hardened edition, we know that those Hardened Edition owners definately got there money's worth for the extra $20. I would gladly pay a $20 fee for 9 months early DLC. I know next Treyarch game I'll be finding a Hardened Edition (NOT at Gamestop!), even after knowing the fact whatever I'm paying extra for will be available to everyone. The 9 months of exclusivity is easily worth it. Yet some people swear that the 9 months of exclusivity meant NOTHING and that they got ripped off. It makes no sense...

Sorry..I must lurk moar? And is search even back up?? haha Don't worry, the title of that thread isn't really clear on what the subject is about. Using the search probably wouldn't of netted any results in this case anyways.

I for one would be PISSED if they released a CoD that was simply zombies. I mean I don't have to worry too much cause they'll never do that, but still. I am a huge fan of the CoD Multiplayer and Campaign, and CoD would just suck if it were all gone so Zombies could come in full time. I like the split they have now between Campaign, MP, and Zombies. I'm probably gonna get flamed because this is a Zombies forum, but I know I'm not the only one here that feels this way. A independent zombies game from Treyarch would be amazing, but it wouldn't be under the CoD franchise. I think they could pull it off though, and it would probably be awesome. I don't see Treyarch doing this anytime in the near future though, seeing as they're busy enough with the CoD games. I agree though, I think this Zombies story is only just beginning. I can't wait to see where they take it in the next Treyarch CoD.

"Old school Zombie strategies get blown out of the airlock in "Moon," where armed with new perks and a space-age arsenal of weapons, our heroes must overcome undead astronauts and fluctuating gravity as they unearth conspiracies that began in 1943." It's the regular crew :D
-
NO PEOPLE NO! TREYARCH HAS SAID ALREADY ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THE CHARACTERS ARE BACK!  dont do that to me RELAX dude!! The caps lock is completely unneccessary. Not everyone has had the chance to look through CoD's website in depth to read that info about it being our heroes. In fact, most people have only seen the intel from the site, which doesn't mention "our heroes".It's at the DLC page you can find this info... "Old school Zombie strategies get blown out of the airlock in "Moon," where armed with new perks and a space-age arsenal of weapons, our heroes must overcome undead astronauts and fluctuating gravity as they unearth conspiracies that began in 1943." Take a chill pill dude. We all can't be as smart as you.

If the zombies teleported to the moon, it's reasonable to think that the crew could of teleported to the moon as well. I just don't want to see the final BO zombies map without Richtofen and the gang.
-
I assume they are referring to the Wave Gun and the QED when they say "space age" arsenal.
-
No, there's no cutscenes for Shangri-La, even on Solo. I'm sure there's gonna be a good one for The Moon. At least there better be.
-
Possibilities could be: 3 gun slots perk (would be awesome!) 3 grenade slots perk (not so awesome!) 3 lives perk (Solo Quick Revive for MP)(I doubt it)

Map Pack 4 "Resurrection" Confirmed + pictures and intel
Shooter replied to X HOLLYWOOD18's topic in Moon
its not really free for hardened and prestige owners they bought it in advance at blops release without knowing it so they paid twice for the classic maps and just get the moon map for free sucks if they bought all the w@w map packs to but thats how activision roll these days 15 dollars is a bargin really Meh, I see what you're saying, but you have had it exclusively for 9 months already. For those of us that couldn't buy Hardened, it's been a long 9 months waiting for something like this. I see where you're coming from though. -
Classic Maps put into Map-Pack for Black Ops.

I love how we discuss all this stuff on CoDz and we end up seeing it come true. We're on top of things here, that's for sure. -
Map Pack 4 "Resurrection" Confirmed + pictures and intel
Shooter replied to X HOLLYWOOD18's topic in Moon
Holy Richtofen! . That's amazing! Hardened and Prestige guys get it for free, the rest of us pay $15, and we can ALL play the classics together. It's safe to say zombies isn't done. This is only gonna bring new zombies fans in for Treyarch's next CoD. -
Famas w/ a Red Dot and Extended Mags Python w/ a ACOG Ghost Pro Warlord Pro Ninja Pro Semtex Concussion Claymore Go ahead and hate people FYI though, I never spawn trap (unless the enemy team does first!), play alot of objective based games, and am an offensive and defensive beast. I rarely camp too, unless I'm one or two kills away from my Dogs, then I might. This is easily my favorite set-up and seems to be pretty effective against the majority of players. They nerf the Famas and people still hate on it. I love it!

It seems like Carbon must be pretty busy lately. He was good at keeping it updated in the beginning. He needs to get a mod or something to handle these requests.
-
That'll suffice Richtofen. You're a regular member of this community, so I feel safe taking your word for it. Thanks for your submission! [brains] have been rewarded!

Kino Der Toten was actually meant to be released for W@W, with the final map pack (MP4). World at War never got that final map pack, so Treyarch decided to add it as the first Zombies map for BO. World at War released in 2008. Kino would have most likely been released before Inglorious Basterds hit theaters in 2009. I don't think that's where Treyarch got the idea.

Sounds like you guys just landed on top of each other when you dove to prone.

It must be a bug in the system, it should have been completely removed. They removed negative brains awhile back. People were just abusing it, giving negative brains just because they didn't agree with someone. And it's been great since it's gone.

Try using Imageshack.us. Just upload the pic from your computer, wait for it to load the various codes, and copy and paste the Forum URL code into the message box. It's pretty easy.

WTF does George Romero have to do with the zombies storyline
Shooter replied to Bluntcorpse115's topic in Call Of The Dead
Well in the Solo cutscene, he mentions while his filming he learned about some of the nazi secrets and mentions that "some of that crazy shit happened right here." So he may know something. But like way2g00 said, it's probably just filler.
