I believe Richtofen did know that Samantha was in the pyramid shortly after she arrived there, due to the radios from Moon. The radios describe Maxis betraying the two, Sam arriving at Griffin Station and being chased by GS members (Groph and Schuster saw her), and then Groph contacts Richtofen and tells him where Sam is at (in Aether). Richtofen knows what to do get her out, and tells Groph to find Maxis, as Ed logically assumes Maxis went to Griffin Station, but he went to a "wretched tunnel" instead. It's unclear when and how Maxis was killed, but it's common belief that he was shot at the end of the last Moon radio. Couldn't agree more. That is one of the most frustrating parts of the BO story is how they ended up with that freaking Lunar Lander. And why he has on a spacesuit. I also feel like there's something big we missed. I believe the NTZ description was Treyarch's way of giving us a time frame for Moon, as they happened simultaneously. The description describes the event of NTZ (and thus Moon as well), taking place shortly after the MP Nuketown map. We know the MP map happened in the 60's, which would place the events of Moon in the 60's. This is where my head starts to hurt. I think Green Run almost has to be after the 80's, but NTZ almost has to be in the late 60's. Ugh, back to the drawing board. Thanks for your help as always Infest. Hopefully DLC2's radios will hold some answers to our questions.

Prestiging? Aint nobody got time for that! Seriously though, the ironic thing is this is the first COD that I didn't prestige, while all of my friends who never usually prestige did. The whole reason I didn't this time around was I simply don't have the time to get on and play MP that much anymore. I think I maybe have a days worth of online play since the game came out. During Black Ops, I would have close to 10 by now. Nowadays, when I do get on to play , I end up playing Zombies. Honestly, I spend ALOT more time here on CoDz than I do on the actual game during my free time. I still haven't played the campaign either haha. Boy do I miss the days of being able to play MP all night, but life gets in the way. But I digress, I usually stick to strictly TDM. The key for me is to remain hidden. Ghost, Blind Eye, Cold Blooded, Dead Silence. Don't use a silencer on the weapon though as my tactic is to always be on the move. I'll even use my gunshots to draw enemies to my position, using it to my advantage. Double kills are my specialty. Never cross the neutral zone of the map for too long, always remain behind cover, don't be greedy with your kills. Pick up an enemies weapon for a secondary. UAV, Lightning Strike, Sentry Gun, can sometimes get two cycles of the pointstreaks if I get a good kill streak going. Always use a Type 25 and keep a consistent 25% accuracy, I won't fire unless I know I can hit my target, the last thing I'm gonna do is give away my position. I've had a natural ability at online multiplayer, ever since me and my buddies were playing Halo (which was new at the time haha) in freshman year of high school more than a decade ago. Halo 2 is still my favorite game of all time simply because of my ridiculously epic skills with the Sniper Rifle.

Favorite Perk Song(Pole Added)
Shooter replied to Young Gucci Messiah's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Nice job with the poll BK, looks good! Considering the amount of perks that we now have in the world of Zombies, this was a great thread to make. -
I like both theories equally to be honest with you. Should you be right about the first part, and we lose a perk like Mule Kick, I would LOVE to see Flopper make a return. And if it came down to Who's Who or Tombstone, I'd probably have to go with Who's Who, but it's just about even. Nice post minator, keep em coming!

Treyarch Tweets hinting at something. (Ireland?) 3/30
Shooter replied to Shooter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Peter and Jimmy both uploaded another photo during the night. Will update the OP when I get home. -
Welcome to CoDz illein! Enjoy your stay and, and feel free to speak your mind around here if you have any questions or concerned. Wish you were on Xbox, as I still need to do both Easter Eggs as well.

Haha I understand your frustration, but point streaks/kill streaks have always been apart of COD. It's just a part of the game. I'd recommend you find another game to play if you dispise them this much lol. And is tere not a game mode where you can turn point streaks off? (I forget how hardcore works) Hey, we could always go back to the MW2 days of having a Nuke end games 10 minutes early lol.

Treyarch Tweets hinting at something. (Ireland?) 3/30

1st sign - An Cheathru (Carraroe) - County Galway, Ireland. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carraroe 2nd and 3rd - Rath Mao lain (Rathmullen) - Ireland (approz 6km away from An Cheathru) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rathmullan But what does it mean? Could we be going to Ireland of all places? DLC is due out anytime people... -
Ok, so I usually don't look to much into the twitter things as I think the guys at Treyarch like to mess with us from time to time. I sually check two or three times a week and nothing shows up, but this seems to have some sort of signifcance. It started with Peter Livingstone @flyinghaggis making this post 24 hours ago... Then two hours later. An hour later... Two hours after that. And then the carpet: And just a minute ago the interesting ones: DeadMike wrote: An Cheathrú Chaol (KerryKall), Ireland - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerrykeel Ráth Maoláin (Rathmullan), Ireland (approx. 6 km from Kerrykeel - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rathmullan Other images added below: UPDATE 3/30 Not sure if it's relevant or not, but Jimmy has added another pick today. It's unclear exactly what it says, but people have mentioned that the first word may be "sequence"

Part of me wants to believe that we have never truly traveled back in time, nor do we posses the power to. I know that sounds like a far-fetched idea, but bear with me for a few seconds here. We know that we can travel forward in time via teleporters or "magic" from the Aether. But are we 100% sure that we can also be sent back in time? Allow me to start off with World at War: Map Time Direction Possible Outputs Nacht der Untoten - ? Verruckt → Shi No Numa Shi No Numa → Der Rise Der Riese → Kino der Toten Kino der Toten → Ascension, Call of the Dead FIVE (Same) Ascension (Same) Ascension Ascension → Call of the Dead, Shangri-la Call of the Dead → Shangri-la Shangri-la → Moon, Ascension Moon → Green Run Nuketown (Same) Moon (Same) Moon Green Run ? Great Leap Forward Great Leap Forward ? ? *Known as the present in both game and real-life dimension *Relatively close proximity of time and date The order in which the maps are listed signifies the given arrangement of how we obtained them. The arrows represent the time direction based on the order we were presented with regarding the map distribution. Possible outputs suggest not only what map came next as a result in the storyline, but also what map it could have led to according to how we arrive in a particular setting and the current situation our playable crew is facing. As you can see, we have three maps that work around this concept of multiple outputs. Different dimensions? Possible; we know it exists (ala Earth and the Aether). The reason I point this out is to better determine the time origin of Green Run as well as Great Leap Forward. From this table (IF we were to follow it), we can only progress forward to the future. This being said, Great Leap Forward is our very nearest future - possibly near or after 2025. If we assume that we are well-past Call of the Dead [2011] but before Great Leap Forward [~2025], then we are somewhere in the middle or within close distance to GLF. We know Moon occurs right as Nuketown occurs, which happens very little before the events in Green Run unfold. We could argue whether there is actual power in the Aether to bend and distort time so much as to teleport the N4 to the future. Richtofen being unable to "mend the rift" currently bolsters this concept of limited time power. That being said, I'd put my money of Green Run occurring perhaps at least 2025 given that we never really went forward to Great Leap Forward; but rather though space. Thank you for the feedback Infest! It's clear you have the right mindset with all this. We're definitely gonna have to think outside the box on this one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we have Kino dated at 1968 due to the Fernsehturm being partially completed outside the map, and Ascension at 1963? From what I remember, that is the only point in the sequence of events where we actually travel back in time and not forward. I wish we didn't, because it would almost prove we could only travel forward in time. Unfortunately, I think the Kino - Ascension transition disproves it. [tab][/tab]However, I take Kino Der Toten, as a whole, with a grain of salt. It was just that weird map that wasn't meant for BO in terms of story (for obvious reasons). That transition period between the story of W@W and the story of BO kind of screwed up Kino. There's quite a few things wrong with the happenings in Kino that cannot logically be explained. Richtofen completely contradicts himself in the map in terms of Samantha's whereabouts. So as I said, I don't know how much we can actually take from Kino. My opinion on the map order pre-BO2 has always been they occur in the order that we play them in. The two maps that are still unclear is Der Riese and SNN, but we know both occur pre-Kino. Then we travel to Kino, then BACK to Ascenison, to Cotd, etc. Alot of it's based on the character quotes from the map themselves "It's no Lunar Lander, but it will suffice.", "Ancient temples, Russian Cosmodromes, being stuck in a dark closet with Richtofen. Eh, what an adventure." Quotes like those helped piece together that all such maps after Kino occured in the same order we play them in. Also, I do agree with you about Richtofen's limited power in Aether. I believe whatever Maxis was targetting on Earth with those missles did have an effect on his control, and he lost a notable amount of power from it. That's why he needs the crew to activate the first tower, in order to provide the 115 energy from the flesh to himself in Aether. After we complete Ed's side of the Easter Egg, he gains enough power from the tower to teleport the crew into the future to China. In the TranZit reveal trailer, we see the new crew arrive on a bus, as oppose to starting in the terminal with the bus outside. Kind of makes me think they arrived on the bus, indicating Richtofen did not have to the power to teleport them before the Tower of Babble EE was completed. Really, what bugs me about Green Run is the Chernobyl sign and Marlton's damned watch. The Chernobyl sign would date the map to 1986, and Marlton's watch is based off of a Casio C-80 calculator watch, produced in 1980. And it's the watch that bugs me the most. If the Earth was bombed in the 60's (as NTZ dictates), how could Casio have been building watches in 1980? The watches aren't an EXACT match either, but still the time frame for the watch at it's earliest would be 1975, unless Marlton somehow crafted one of his own decades before anyone else. I don't know, I'm really struggling to make sense of this. :x

My thoughts about the ending of the zombies story: Die Rise
Shooter replied to SuperR3t4rded's topic in Die Rise
Very well put bagel, just about what I was gonna say. The voices that Richtofen heard and the "something far darker than you lies here" are most likely a reference to the same power or entity. The voice we could be hearing is Richtofen's controller (if there is someone using Ed as a host). Or it could have just been Treyarch's way of telling us that when we hear this garbled voice, that it's Richtofen that's speaking, even if we can't make out what he says. It's hard for me to say either way, but it feels like it was just a distortion of Richtofen's voice or just the way Samuel hears his voice during the maps. Samantha did have one interesting quote from Moon in regards to the voices, after switching places with Richtofen and entering his body: “No,NO! I hear the voices in YOUR head!” - firesale_2 The current state of "the voices" as far as Black Ops 2 goes is still unknown, but considering Richtofen no longer mentions them, they have either A.) Now controlling Richtofen directly in the Aether, or B.) Are now stuck with Samantha in Richtofen's old body. -
Bonjour King Joker! Comment ca va? And that's about all I remember from my high school French classes haha. Welcome to CoDz! We are happy to have you. Oh, and thanks for making an introduction, aloe of new members forget to. If we ever get our Paris map, you will be of great use to us! Enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions, just ask.

Wow, awesome find here! There is evidence that shows the Nova program lead by Steiner was located at Der Riese at one point ( before escaping up the Elbe River during the raid of Der Riese). And we also know Maxis and Richtofen had numerous test subjects before Maxis was betrayed. Could one of the Nova Crawlers have been a test subject for the MTD, only to be sent to Aether, much like Fluffy. Could explain how Novas ended up in Aether, and also how we ended up with Phasing Nova Crawlers and Jumping Jacks. Just a thought. I'm gonna have to dig further into this. Thanks for posting this find!

Probably have to go with Mule Kick and Deadshot. @ the OP: you should add a poll. -
That's my thought exactly. It's as if Treyarch is trying to indicate something by not including it in the comic book. And that's kind of my take on it as well, it's almost as if it indicates that Green Run didn't occur in the same reality or timeline as the rest of the maps or something. I know Treyarch was trying to go in a different direction with TranZit, which may be why they didn't include a comic originally, but there's got to be more significance to Green Run's place in the comic book. Things really aren't adding up with Green Run as far as dates go.

Yup. This definitely hints out to a new game mode involving spires and "machines". Sounds pretty cool though. Possibly a Versus game. It's pretty obvious they're gonna do this every time now. It's why we select "SKYSCRAPER" when we want to play on Die Rise. Because most likely this new mode will be added to the list after you buy their next DLC. It's the only way to keep the Versus modes interesting in Zombies, I suppose... By the way, wonderful work of posting this up Shooter. Yes, I believe you're correct Infest. I haven't actually done the Easter Egg, but from watching it on Youtube I believe that the quotes about the machines was meant for when the zombies are being launched at the spire by the Trample Steams.

It is unclear who is speaking on the radio transmission from Die Rise to be honest with oyu guys. The voice is female, and to me it resembles Abigail's voice more than anything. Plus, she calls him "the German man". You'd assume if that was Sam on the radio, she would just refer to him as Richtofen (or liar or whatever). Just some food for thought.

Sounds like he's one of the first getting a sneak peak preview of the new MP maps for the next upcoming DLC release. We're apporaching the two month mark since the last DLC release (Retaliation), which means we're quickly approaching a new map pack. I can't imagine it'll be much longer before we get some info. :)

A wonder weapon that turns zombies into more zombies? Now THAT sounds like a gun that both sucks AND blows! Haha, a little Zombies humor. If anyone could build such devices, it would be Marlton. This is definitely an interesting theory to consider when discussing where the blueprints are coming from. Also, I suppose some could just write it off as a gameplay element and not signifcant to the storyline. The other characters do have quotes about building objects without Marlton's knowledge, but it could of just been the 115 effecting their memory. This is something I'm going to have to ponder.

@zombo Again I'd just like to quickly reiterate fan feedback has a direct effect on the storyline, has since Day 1 when someone thought a zombie said the word "Sam" and made a post out of it. Time to go off topic... Agreed, they had ideas, at best, until Moon. Throughout BO, we saw a new story begin to develop (Moon, Ed taking over the Earth), and I believe Treyarch has spent alot more time this go 'round developing a complex story to go with the continuation from BO. I do believe this time that they do have all maps and story plotted out in advance. My point is, fan feedback has directly effected the storyline of zombies leading up to BO2. Treyarch may indeed have a very rough draft, at best, of the events of BO (and I really hope they do), but they have left it to us as a community to piece it together for ourselves, and that's what makes it so fun. Some theorists may recognize a saying when talking about Richtofen's behavior in SNN, Der Riese, and Kino: "Richtofen was just playing dumb". This is another way of saying the old story in W@W doesn't line up with events of the story described in BO. Hell, even Richtofen's introduction on Kino Der Toten contradicts itself lol. It is not until Ascension that we begin to see a thoughtout story develop. BO2 will continue that story with what I'm sure is a more developed timeline of events. I apologize for going off topic here everyone  As for the Vril Ya teleporting it from or to Earth, I don't want to entertain the idea of invisble biodomes or how Brock and Gary managed to get there without any sort of evidence that suggest such things actually happened. Also if it was teleported from Mars to Earth before Gary, Brock, and the gang all get there, what significance does it serve, if any?
