  2. If there is an ending to TranZit, it will come with the fourth DLC pack. Remember folks TranZit is a game mode, not a map. Green Run is the actual map name. So is there an ending to Green Run? No, probably not. An ending for the TranZit mode on Map Pack 4? It's definitely possible.
  3. Back off Rissole...she's mine!
  4. Really? I played up til Round 34 Solo on Nuketown, knifing the shelter after every round, and the only voice I ever heard was Marlton. Probably knifed the shelter around 30 times that game, and always had Marlton say a response. It seems like there are about 10 different specific quotes said on Nuketown, as he often repeats the same lines. All I ever hear is Marlton when I play, although it does seem like he's addressing someone with a few of his quotes.
  5. +1. Same reason why I voted for Maxis. I'm not sure why anyone could think Richtofen isn't that bad of a guy and that Maxis is evil must not have been following the story too closely. I know we've had a few of these threads like this, but I'll say again Maxis is a good man, hell bent on revenge for the man that stole it all from him. At this point in the story, he's done nothing "evil" IMO. He's done the necessary things thus far to try and stop Richtofen from gaining full control. The radios recently found for TranZit, along with the previous Moon quote, clearly indicates he never meant to threaten the entire planet. His plans have been pretty straight forward what his mission is. To stop the takeover of Richtofen and help rid the Earth of the creatures. I suppose he could just be deceiving the crew into helping him, but he hasn't showed any signs to me thus far that he has evil intentions. I can understand why people voted for Richtofen though because it was alot of people's favorite character to play as. As far as storyline goes though, you've gotta go with the underdog and and the good guy, Maxis. As for the belief that he's an AI, yes most people seem to be under that impression lately. Which is totally fine and acceptable theory, but I for one am not sold just yet. The thought is that because Maxis only appears through electronics, that he must be an AI or in some sort of cyberspace. If he was in Aether, he would just communicate like Richtofen would, without electronics. Right? I somewhat accept the possibility that Maxis is in some kind of "cyberspace", though it seems improbable at this point as we've never heard any mention of such a thing existing in the game. The AI thing for me is hard to believe though, as I don't know how he could have "inserted" himself into computers in America at places like Jackass Flats and the Hanford Site of the Manhattan Project. We do know they had operatives in America, so perhaps that could offer an explanation of how he was inserted into those systems. It's really hard to say that though as we have nothing solid to support it. We have no clear way of telling for sure where Maxis is at the moment, but like I posted in another thread, I believe the signs from BO point to him being in Aether or somewhere similar:
  6. Please keep in mind that that radio was only discovered in the last day. While I and others try to process information and adjust theories as fast possible, we simply cannot be the first to find everything. I'm going to be updating one of my threads with the new radio message later today. Thanks for posting your theory on it, I do believe you're on the right track. But details still need to be worked out. Look forward to a thread by the end of the day.
  7. That is what still remains unclear, exactly what they're doing with this energy. Is it being used in the atmosphere for some sort of way to brainwash or fix the humans, or is it being sent through the atmosphere to Aether as a means to give themselves power. I'm not saying anything for sure yet. Thanks for the kind words lemonade. I always value your opinion. I never realized Sedan's close proximity to Area 51. It certainly does make the Sedan theory even more plausble. It's one I've alwyas liked, and it seems to be gaining much support. The road interconnecting the two is what draws me in the most. It could provide a direct path of infection between the Sedan site, Area 51, and Jackass Flats. An intersting thing note are the dates. The BREN Tower was moved to the Jackass Flats in 1963. The Sedan blast occured in July of 1962 correct? Could it be possible that the blast at Nuketown Zombies was the Sedan test, and ended up affecting the zombies at Area 51 via radiation, leading to the initial outbreak we see there at the beginning of the match at Moon. It would still line up with NML timeline of 1962-1968. As Richtofen gained control and eventually began his search for towers, he came across the BREN Tower, located within 15 miles of the initial blast and Area 51. Idk, just throwing around ideas. One thing we can note is the date of the tower's existance. The BREN tower was constructed in 1962 at the Yucca Flats of the NTS, and was demolished on May 23, 2012 for safety reasons. One other cool thing to note is at the time, the BREN Tower was the tallest structure in existance. This might make it one of the more valuable targets for Richtofen and Maxis.
  8. Sweet, ain't it? A few more have been discovered as well. viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25409#p244822
  9. I'm not positive, but couldn't the quote be referencing to when all 4 players throw their EMPs into the portals at the same time during the last step of Richtofen's EE? Perhaps he says this line if everyone doesn't throw it correctly.
  10. I personally can't say for sure exactly where Maxis is working from. Considering we know so little about Aether and how it works, and have never had any mention of a cyberspace, it's hard to say he exists in either one. I've always considered him to be in Aether though, as that's where Samantha hints him being at in her Moon quotes "Daddy, make him stop!" "Take me to my father!" (boxmove). Also consider her quote when a red(negative) powerup appeared on Moon: "Daddy, is that you?". These things could suggest he's somewhere in the Aether. Also, after completing Maxis' side of the EE on Green Run, orange orbs (as opposed to Richtofen's purple) can be seen being sent up the tower, as well as when the powerup arrives underneath the tower. These same oranges orbs can be seen when hitting the mystery box. Thesse could be signs that Richtofen and Maxis are in a very similar location. What it really comes down to is what we know about Aether. The only examply we really have is Gersch's experience while in there. We know that Samantha was aware of Gersch's whereabouts in Aether, but what I don't quite understand is why it took her so long to capture him. If she was the one in charge of everything in Aether with unlimited power, it would of been quite easy to capture and destroy him. It makes you question just what it's like in Aether. Is it a large open world? Or what is it? Would Maxis be capable of avoiding Richtofen's capture, or can Richtofen even capture him? There's one quote I do find interesting during the Easter Egg. "Excellent, your skills are superb. Now get this thing to the obelisk. We must hurry, for Maxis is a busy little beaver, and the damn he built will kill you all! TRUST ME!” Richtofen knows where Maxis is at and what he's doing, yet he's incapable of stopping him. Whether this is a reference to the fact he's in Aether, cyberspace, or somewhere else I'm not sure. I just find it interesting Ed knows what he's doing but can't stop him.
  11. The coordinates are for Jackass Flats, a testing location in the Nevada Test Site. One of the soldiers in the video speaks of activating a "spire" for one of the voices, indicating Maxis was telling them to somehow power a tower. One major tower existed at the Jackass Flats, standing just as tall as the Empire State building. The BREN Tower. I believe that is why Maxis and Richtofen were after that specific location. When exactly this attack happened is still unclear. viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25415&p=244918#p244918 French accent? Which one? EDIT: @ Matuzz. Waffles also mentioned Jackass Flats when first going through the files, so I believe he came across these particular radios as well.
  12. Firstly I know this is in the wrong section, mods move it if you really feel the need to. I made a thread in Teammate Finder an hour ago, but seeing how they don't appear in active topics and it's got ZERO views thus far, I thought I'd post here. Do what you must with it. What's up guys. I'm hoping to find some people to help me get the achievement for Tower of Babble Easter Egg at some point today. I have a basic understanding of what to do, I just need 3 cooperative players to do it with. All the better if you already know how to do it. Gotta have mics and want to complete everything within the early rounds. I can never find anyone that wants to do it, if I'm lucky enough to even find a match. Hopefully I can get a chance to play with some of the regulars around here. Ready to play at any time, just need 3 other players. Hit me up with an invite on Xbox or response here. 13. That is very interesting. Considering the tower changes to this color after finishing the Maxis EE, and you get the power-up from Maxis with the some colored orbs, this could be related to Maxis. We know he's in Aether, so he could be able to start helping our crew as he gains more power.
  14. The voice in the shelter is indeed Marlton. If you want to hear it better while playing, turn the Music and SFX volume down while playing and leave voice volume maxed out. Wait until the end of the round and all the zombies are dead, then melee the shelter. Marlton's voice is very distinguisable. It was also confirmed when Marlton's quote video was released, and the quotes being said in the shelter can be found in his video. Like Kill_All_Monkeys stated, it's possible Marlton was working ar Area 51 considering his engineering skills. I'm very curious to know what he was doing in there. Great work here Tac!
  15. Of course you would MMX, that seems to be all you enjoy doing. I'm having trouble figuring you out MMX, one day you're cool and cracking jokes and the next day you hate me. Whatever resentment you may unreasonably have towards me, should be handled personally through PMs, rather than attacking my threads. You have never had problems with the way I build and support my theories, so what has changed? You have commented on a multitude of my threads, knocking them for no reason. You have not shown one hint of respect towards me by attacking me and my threads personally, and for that I have no desire to ever work with you in the future. Why have you not figured out by now that this is the reason no one wants to work with you. You're just so damn disrespectful sometimes, and will always be the last to admit it. Historically speaking, guns have not had a basis in the storyline of zombies. As I stated before, besides the WW and special grenades, they are there for GAMEPLAY purposes. What do you think Treyarch would release brand new zombies with only guns from the previous games? That's obviously not gonna happen. They are gonna put the new campaign and MP guns in the box, just like they did in Black Ops. You want a reason why they are there, there you go. As I said from the start, and as many have believed for a very long time, the guns have no merit on the actual storyline. Whatever evidence you have supported by gun production date is very thin. It'd be like examining why the zombies keep coming and they never end. We could examine all the reasons why and come up with a theory about how they come back to life even after being killed. But in all reality, it's just part of the gameplay, just as the guns are. As for the robot driver, it's just a matter of opinion between us as to the age of it. You see this as an advanced machine, and I just don't. Of course there are some advanced moves, but along with some very basic mechanical motions. We have no clear date of production with this guy, and until we do it's hard to base the entire timeframe on this single robot. Now I never said TranZit doesn't take place in the 2000 or later. Review my threads and you will see that. All I've stated is that Moon and the Maxis blast occured in the 60's. The evidence is just to strong and abundant to ignore that fact. Just how long after the attack are the events of TranZit taking place is still yet to be determined. In fact, a recent Maxis quote is emerging supporting the fact that he did not contact the crew for decades after the blast. See my recent thread for more info if you like. I still don't know why you've flipped out so much over the whole 1960's thing, simply because me and Tac agree on it. Many others agree with it, yet you are angered by us? We are regular members making theories just like the rest of the members, so why do you hold us to such high standards? It's as if you think what we say is word, and has to be true. We're here making theories, not fact. And perhaps that's what gets you, is that not everything is fully supported. But you must realize what point it is in the life of Black Ops 2 Zombies. Everything is still very unclear. We've been provided so many different dates and locations that saying for sure everything is true is impossible. The best we can do is build our theories with as strong as evidence as possible, and support them as much as possible until something else provides evidence to the contrary. I don't think I should have to state that my threads are theories, it should just go without saying that this early in the Zombies season they are only theories. While we can build some facts, there is still alot of unknown. And if you hate that MMX, just leave for the next year until we have all of our evidence together and can start seperating fact from fiction. CoDz was built by Carbon for the sole purpose of building theories for the storyline in order to figure it out, and that's what I and other intend to do this upcoming year. Really, you need to go that far? I try to be as humble as possible, so I don't usually boast about what I've been right about. But I feel I've done just fine with my solo analysis of information over the last year, often leading to me being correct with my theories. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 67&t=24211 viewtopic.php?f=72&t=21996&hilit=+moon+quotes viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21841&hilit=+maxis+quote viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21841&hilit=+maxis+quote viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24417 For you to attack my ability to analyze information and write threads is just a low blow. Stop being a dick.
  16. The Trichotomous System “It seems some new cargo’s aboard and needs to be delivered.” *scalene. As in scalene triangle. The two vertices he's referring to is the two obtuse angle of a scalene triangle. Node is the correct word at the end, as he's referring to completing the third point of the triangle. “Yes, the spire is online! Now, if the other sites can be likewise and powered, then perhaps there is a chance to complete that which was begun so many years ago. Your help has been invaluable. Farewell.” The Trichotomous System.
  17. Firstly, here's a video from DalekJD with hidden radios from the PC files. Thanks to Verruckt for posting the original video here on CoDz viewtopic.php?f=120&t=25402. We're provided some awesome little tidbits of information here in regards to the storyline of TranZit. kHF3Jc-Yzwc The first radio you hear is from Maxis. From this radio we get two good pieces of information, along with continuing support that he is indeed trying to save mankind, rid the creatures from Earth, and stop Richtofen. Maxis "You, You are not one of those foul creatures. Excellent, I have been searching for decades. Listen now, what I have to say is of the utmost importance to mankind. If you would see this planet free from the curse of these wretched undead creatures, and the monstrous evil which controls them, then you must obey my every command. I cannot affect physical change, yet. You must be my hands. Only you can stop that awful worm Richtofen. [*:1fhl3k0h]Maxis has been searching for humans to help him for decades. This helps begin to form a timeline of the current TranZit events taking place. While I'm under the strong belief that Moon and the bombing of Earth did occur in the 60's, hence all the 60's references. But how long after was still unclear until this tidbit of audio was released. Maxis states it's been decades, so that's got to be at least 20 years since his initial blast that devasted the Earth, putting it in the 1980s. It could also be longer than that, pushing into the 2000's and beyond as a possible time setting for Green Run. [tab][/tab] [*:1fhl3k0h]Maxis cannot affect physical change, yet. Another reference that Maxis is in need of power in the Aether as well. He cant affect the zombies or physical things on Earth just yet, but perhaps in future he will have required enough power to do so and face off with Richtofen for control. The Jackass Flats. Neveda Test Site, Nevada, USA Unknown soldier. Jackass Flats. "Hello, hello. This is Jackass Flats. Calling any human community within broadcasting distance. We're located at standard map coordinates 37 degrees 07 North, 116 degrees 03 West. This is a warning to anyone contacted by a group of mysterious voices. Several of our party began to hear the voices, and they're competting instructions and combatible demands drove a wedge down the center of the camp. Half of the camp is carrying out the demands of...(static)...through electroncis ...(static)...This voice is a big long...(static)...and it's ultimate goal's unclear. Neither of these instruction sets will...(static)...understand...(static)...Those of us who have not chosen a side have been hunted by both sides, seeking the forces to assist their...(static)...oh god they found me...(static) ...no, get back! Stop! Ahhhh!" The radios after the first Maxis radio come from the Jackass Flats, and area of the Neveda Test site, a location touched on in previous topics. The voices we hear during the events of the Green Run EE are occuring at this base set up at Jackass Flats. The radios depict Maxis and Richtofen's attempt to activate a spire found at the base through the use of the soldiers. While Richtofen seems to be unsuccessfully manipulating one of the soldiers, Maxis' helpers seem ready to do whatever it takes to help. Richtofen begins to contact another soldier, who reluctantly agrees to do something for the voice. Just like in Green Run, the voices are after a tower. So what spire, or tower, were Maxis and Richtofen trying to reach at Jackass Flats? The Bren Tower. Jackass Flats, NTS Area 25. Neveda, USA BREN Tower was a guyed steel framework mast, 1,527 ft (465 m) high, in Area 25 of the Nevada Test Site in Nevada, USA. The BREN(Bare Reactor Experiment, Nevada) Tower, constructed in 1962, was a structure built by the Dresser-Ideco Company for the AEC in the atomic bomb test area at Yucca Flat, where it was used for an experiment intended to improve understanding the effects of radiation in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. After the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty banned open-air nuclear testing, the tower was dismantled and despite its immense size moved from its original location to Jackass Flats in Area 25 of the Nevada Test Site in 1966, where it was used for Operation HENRE (High Energy Neutron Reactions Experiment). The tower stood as tall as the Empire State building. With this and Maxis' TranZit quotes, the two men's goal is becoming extremely clear. They need these towers to get power on energy for something. I've offered a possible explanation for needing the energy on another thread, which I will post here: Richtofen insists you kill zombies directly underneath the tower. After their death, their souls are sent into the atmosphere via the tower and into the Aether, giving more power to Richtofen. What he needs it for us is unclear, but it's possible that Maxis' blast deminished some of his connection with his zombie army. Zombies continue to be spawned, killed, sent to Aether, and more spawn. Richtofen even makes a comment on the repetitve task: "Pick up the zombie. Put down the zombie. It's hard!". As the energy begins to make it to Richtofen, he begins to feel the power start to surge through him "Yeah, yeah! I can feel the tingling in my toesies!" Another common idea thats being discussed is the possibility of these makeshift HAARP towers sending some sort of 115 energy into the ionoshpere as a means of somehow affecting the remaining survivors of the blast. Richtofen hopes to gain full control from this, while Maxis may hope to use the process to somehow stop Richtofen. The details behind this are still being worked out, but it seems to be a plausibility. Now one other cool thing to note, is the coordinates given by the soldier. When entered into Google Earth, it puts us in the very close vicinity of two particular locations: Both Area 51 and the Sedan Crater are no more than 15 miles away from the coordinates given. PINNAZ created a thread a little while back about the Sedan Crater, and this new information just makes it even more interesting. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... er#p242902 The point is clear. They need the towers. Now,where could this lead us to? Paris has always been a long requested map, so it's always possible with the most infoamous of towers. The possibilities are endless really. Shooter
  18. Here we are again, with another storyline thread. This time I will attempt to explain exactly what's going on during the Easter Egg we see in Green Run. As I'm sure most all of us know, a battle is clearly emerging between Dr. Maxis and Dr. Richtofen over the fate of Earth. Richtofen tells you he's going to help save the Earth, while Maxis voews to stop Richtofen. Both are attempting to accomplish different tasks in a somewhat similiar nature. Ultimately, it's the new crew's decision what to do, but their actions could have dire consequences on the fate of mankind. I'll now provide a breakdown of the quotes and what they mean. But first, let's refresh back to the events of the Moon EE. Richtofen wanted to switch souls with Samantha in Aether, while Maxis attempted to stop him from doing so. When he failed, Maxis destroyed parts of the Earth with three precise rocket strikes in an attempt to break Richtofen's connection with the Zombies. It failed to destroy the entire infection, and Richtofen remains in control in the post apocolyptic world. We begin our new journey with four strangers... Maxis is indicated in Red. Richtofen is indicated in Purple. Maxis - Start of Round 1 “That’s it! Complete the device. Do it!” As the journey begins in Green Run's bus terminal, the members of the new crew begin to search their surroundings while zombies begin to attack. They come acrosss various parts used to build a device. During it's completion, a voice can be heard in the room. It's Maxis, and he's demanding the crew finish building the turbine. The turbine is used throughout the Easter Egg to power the radio towers, and Maxis knows you will need this if you are to suceed with completing his mission. Misty, Samual and the guys head towards the power switch. When they arrive in the underground complex, a generator can be seen in the middle of the room. But this generator also served as a holding cell by the Americans, for "the creature". This creature is extremely significant. Whatever this energy is that he is made of, it is closely tied to the story of what the Americans were up to. More on him to come. Maxis - After turning off the power “Excellent! You have freed it! But now, you must turn off the power. An active power grid will disrupt all active communication between us, and make it impossible for us to accomplish the mission I have for you. SHUT DOWN THE POWER!” Dr. Maxis is happy that you have freed "the creature" from it's holding cell. He knows that the creature will be of great use to him during the EE. But now he wants them to shut the power back off to continue with the tasks. This is where the Easter Egg takes a split and the gang must make a decision. They can make the choice to turn the power back off, and continue to help Dr. Maxis. Or they can ignore him, and leave the Power Station. First, we'll explore Richtofen's devious plans. Richtofen's Art of Deception As the group moves outside the Power Station, Richtofen's voice is heard, but only in Samual's head. Why has Richtofen chosen Samual to talk to as oppose to the other three? Richtofen states that they others can't hear him, but it's not the case. Richtofen is in the Aether, and we can all hear him after a power up or when a mystery box moves, so that can't be true. Richtofen has chosen Samual for a certain reason. Perhaps it's because of his engineering skills, or maybe it's something more. Richtofen (Samual only) – After not turning off the power. “Oh good job! Wunderbar. You've done well my friend. But this is not a sprint, this is a marathon! Out of your group, you seem to be the only able to hear. So you must convince your deaf friends to heat up the Obelisk!” Setting a puny fire will not be enough. It must reach an EXTREME temperature. Now, if only you knew how to build a part of an engine or some sort, that might blow very hot. Some sort of Jet engine with an after burner? Oh what, you do? Oh goody, goody! So, why are you still standing here Mr. Voices in your Head? And get on with it before Maxis will kill you all!” Richtofen is now the voice in another character's head. Ironic how the the times have changed. He now needs the gang to "heat up the obelisk." [tab][/tab]An obelisk is a tall, four-sided, narrow tapering monument which ends in a pyramid-like shape at the top, and is said to resemble a petrified ray of the sun-disk. In ancient Egyptian culture, the obelisk symbolized the sun god Ra, and it was also thought that the god existed within the structure. Famous obelisks exist throughout the world on everything from memorial sites to national monuments, including the Washington Monument in Washington DC. The obelisk that Richtofen is referring to is the radio tower in the cornfield, or the "Tower of Babble". Richtofen needs the tower heated for a specific reason. But first, the gang must build a NavCard machine underneath the tower. After finding the parts are Green Run, the machine is built. Richtofen (Samual only) – After building NavCard machine. “Oh, this is good. You’ve accomplished much! But to activate the computer, you must have the little Navcard-thingy, which plugs into the computer-thingy. Don’t worry your little brain about what it does, or how it works. Just go find it!” After the Navcard machine is complete and connected to the tower, the crew needs to find a way to heat it up. Samual recalls what Richtofen about a jet engine that Richtofen mentioned earlier. Parts are found throughout the area, which Samual uses to build the Jet Gun. After he's built the weapon, Richtofen insists he get it back to the radio tower immediately, for Maxis is busy as well, essentially planning the demise of the rest of mankind. Richtofen (Samual only) – After building The Jet Gun. “Excellent, your skills are superb. Now get this thing to the obelisk. We must hurry, for Maxis is a busy little beaver, and the damn he built will kill you all! TRUST ME!” This is where Richtofen's act really begins to become apparent. He is doing his best to convince Samual that Maxis is the one doing all the harm upon Earth, and that Richtofen is actually trying to help save it. Richtofen is a master of deception. And just like with Takeo, Tank, and Nikolai, Samual is just another pawn in his plans. Samual and the crew head back to the tower, and the machine is fired upon with the Jet Gun. The heat from the gun's exhaust transfers the heat to the radio tower, which quickly reaches operating temperature. But for what? What's the purpose of the tower? The energy signals are being sent from the radio tower to the Moon/Aether. The energy is being directly supplied to Richtofen in Aether. But how could these signals reach such heights to make it into space? The Makeshift HAARP Tower HAARP, (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) was the US government program which sends focused radiated power to heat up sections of the ionosphere. Many have considered it's existence in the game, and it's becoming clearer than ever before. The apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; an antenna sends out signals instead of receiving it. Sounds familiar? We see this happening after the EE's completion. Signals are being sent to the radio tower, and the tower is sending a signal up into the upper atmosphere. These signals sent by the makeshift HAARP tower reach the ionosphere, which is the uppermost layer of our atmosphere. Considering Moon's lack of an atmosphere, it's not hard to see how the signals sent by a makeshift tower could reach the Moon and therefore the Aether pyramid so long as they make it out of the atmosphere. So what energy signals are being sent into the upper atmosphere and ultimately Aether? Richtofen (Samual only) – After shooting the obelisk with The Jet Gun. “Now we need the 115. But the only place it’s at is in the flesh! Their flesh! You must slash the 115 from the undead by killing them. And BOY do you need a bunch of it. Get busy!" Richtofen needs the electrical energy from Element 115, and the only place he knows to get it is from the undead. Taken from a previous thread: Richtofen insists you kill zombies directly underneath the tower. Richtofen even makes a cmment on the repetitve task: "Pick up the zombie. Put down the zombie. It's hard!". As the energy begins to make it to Richtofen, he begins to feel the power start to surge through him "Yeah, yeah! I can feel the tingling in my toesies!". But he needs one last push to get the most energy he can out of the zombie's 115 filled flesh. A large group begins to gather under the tower. Richtofen (Samual only) – After a large amount of zombies gather underneath the tower. “That is a large group of them. Now lure them to the obelisk, then make them go boom! A large group gathers directly below the tower, and Richtofen insists you kill them all with one big boom. After the Monkey Bomb is thrown, a large group of zombies if quickly sent through the tower and into the atmosphere. The sudden burst of 115 energy quickly overheats the obelisk, and Richtofen needs to you to reduce the flow of energy rushing through the tower. Richtofen (Samual only) – After killing a very large amount of zombies under the tower. "Ahh good, but now there’s too much power flowing to the obelisk. You must reduce the incoming power by a factor of four! As the 115 begins to overheat and destroy the tower, Richtofen begins to become frustrated with these new pawns, "Almost, all four must do it simultaneously. Together idiots, together! Must I do everything, look how much I do for you already. It's the least you could do to save your pathetic planet. I swear, some people, no ability to work as a team. The crew obtain EMP grenades in hopes to reduce the massive amount of energy. Throughout Hanford, teleporters are found underneathstreetlights, with the the Tower of Babble centered in the middle of the them. EMP grenades are simultaneously thrown into the teleporters, sending the surge through the tower, thus cooling it and keeping it from overheating. The obelisk has now adjusted to flow of 115 energy, and at a safe operating temperature. Satisfied with the results, Richtofen says his last goodbyes. But before he goes, the maniacle and manipulative Richtofen reveals his real motivations. Richtofen (Samual only) – After reducing the power flowing through the tower. “Yeah yeah you did it! Soon this beautiful planet will be healed, once more. And the flesh will cover the Earth. Wait a glorious day that will be for you! You will be the hero that has saved all of the Earth…..FOR ME TO PLAY WITH!” Richtofen now has a steady supply of Element 115 energy flowing through the Tower of Babble/HAARP tower and into the Aether. As the undead continue to be killed, Richtofen only gain more and more strength. The 115 energy can be seen as the purple lights being sent to the tower and up into the atmosphere The fate of Earth's future is bleak. Now, let's examine Maxis' attempt to stop Richtofen. Maxis' Act of Redemption *Note: Quotes from Maxis refer to parts of his Easter Egg in TranZit that were niched from the final cut, or have yet to be discovered. If an alternate Maxis Easter Egg does exist, I'll update the thread. Let's go back to the point in time of turning on the power. Maxis has asked the crew to help him stop Richtofen, and this time they do decide to listen to Maxis. Their first step: turn off the power. Turning off the power is essential so Maxis can continue to communicate with the group. They agree, and shut off the power. Maxis - After turning off the power. "Yes, outstanding. Now we can continue our other tasks." Maxis will now need the crew to begin their mission of transmitting the energy needed to stop Richtofen. Maxis however has a much different way to produce the energy, rather than killing zombies. If Maxis killed zombies to get there energy, it would simply be transmitted directly to Richtofen. Maxis must find another way to transmit the power to to the tower and ultimately to himself. And that's exactly what he plans to do. Maxis has made sure that you have grabbed the turbine. He immediately contacts you when you enter TranZit and insist you build it immediately. Maxis has the group power up the spire. This is much like Richtofen's EE with an obelisk, as spire is a tapering conical or pyramidal structure on the top of a building, particularly a church tower. An interesting thing to note is the difference in wording. Richtofen refers to it as an obelisk, a symbol associated with Paganism and the underworld. While Maxis refers to it as a spire, a term usually applying to churches and the heavens. Maxis has the crew begin by finding the first of three points in order to complete the Trichotomous System. A trichotomy is a splitting into three parts, and, apart from its normal literal meaning, can refer to: [*:1gewz4cq]trichotomy (mathematics), in the mathematical field of order theory [*:1gewz4cq]trichotomy (philosophy), for the theological idea that man has a threefold nature; also for a three-way classificatory division, especially when done according to a pattern. He has plans to create a power system consisting of three points capable of properly transferring the energy to himself in the Aether instead of Richtofen. Again, it is unclear exatly what he is using it for. As the crew travels throughout Hanford and finished the first point, Maxis speaks to them. Maxis - When at the first point. "That is but one of the required three points to complete the design." As the gang discovers the first point (It's possible that the points could be specific steetlights or other towers?), it is powered up via the turbines taken from the bus terminal. After the spire is powered up, Maxis confirms they have done it successfully, but still need to power up the other two points for maximum energy. Maxis - After getting the first point powered up. “You have done well, but we need yet more energy. This is but the tip of what needs three sides. Now, create the Trichotomous System.” Maxis needs the crew to find the other two points to complete the sytem. After finding the second point is powered up, Maxis is thrilled with the progress, and persists that the scalene triangle of the Trichotomous System be completed with the final point. Maxis - After getting the second point powered up. “Excellent, you have activated the two obtuse vertices of the scalene. Quickly, complete the tertiary node!” The Trichotomous System consists of three points, arranged in the shape of a scalene triangle. A scalene trianle is a triangle that consists of three unequal sides, and the two obtuse vertices refer to the two corners of the triangle that are currently powered up. A scalene triangle is being formed in Green Run by Maxis with three seperate points surrounding the tower. These points will supply the tower with energy that will then be sent into the atmosphere, and ultimately to Aether and Maxis. While Richtofen was able to simply have the Jet Gun heat up the tower and send 115 energy to Aether, Maxis is getting the power he requires in a much different way. Through the use of the Trichotomous System. The crew finally reaches the last point in the system, and gets it powered up. The scalene triangle is complete, and Maxis is pleased with the results Good! The Trichotomous System is now complete!. To continue his plan, he now needs the crew to build a control mechanism to link to the tower, just like in Richtofen's Easter Egg. After the crew retrieves the parts from around Handford, the mechanism is built directly below the tower. Maxis - After finishing the Trichotomous System. “You have constructed a control mechanism, but to program the computer, you will need to secure an application NavCard. You will have to seek it out, and then return here and activate the spire. TO SAVE MANKIND!” After finding the Navcards needed to program the computer, the crew returns to the tower. After inserting the Navcards needed, the mechanism is programmed, and ready to be activated. Maxis tells the crew to do activate it in order to get it online. Maxis - After finishing the Trichotomous System. “You have done well, now activate the spires power. Are you circumcised? Oh, hold on...” After activating the spires power, the energy begins to flow through the atmosphere via the makeshift HAARP tower. But just like Richtofen's egg, the output of 115 energy begins to disrupt the communication between them. Maxis requires a tremendous burst of energy in a short amount of time in order to get the spire online. Maxis - After activating the spire. “This is a great power source, although it will have to be amplified. With any higher output, our communications will likely cease. We will require a burst of tremendous voltage.” Maxis recieves the power, but it's not enough, “Not enough power, bring additional energy system! Yes! Power, we need more of it!”Maxis will require this burst of energy from a another source, “Yes! Power! We need more of it. But only power which is portable, and possibly even alive.”. This is why Maxis was happy the crew freed the creature from his holding cell earlier in the EE. He knew that the creature's energy may be needed to complete the task at hand. Maxis - After activating the spire. “The creature is too far way, you need his energies! Or all your efforts will be for not.” The crew is demanded by Maxis to lure the creature to the spire, "The creature is near, lure him to the spire.". After doing so, Maxis tell you tell it so that it's essence can be captured and sent up the HAARP tower and to the Aether. After the creature is lured directly underneath the tower, Maxis shouts "Kill the creature! Kill it now so we can capture it's essence. Now let's recall Richtofen's Easter Egg. At the end of his, he also needed a tremendous amount of energy quickly. The crew accomplished this task by gathering up a massive amount of zombies, then killing them instantly with one large explosion. Maxis needs this similar burst of electrical energy. But since he cannot use 115 energy to receive the power as it would just go to Richtofen, he uses the creature. This is where the significance of the electrical creature comes into play. If Maxis is needing the power from the creature, the energy must have similar characteristics to Element 115. So what is it? Pure 115 energy? Something stronger? Only time will tell how exactly this creature came to be. The creature is directly underneath the tower when a member of the crew throws an EMP grenade at it. The grenade kills the creature, and it's energy is sent through the tower and up into the atmosphere, giving Maxis the final push of electrical energy he needs to complete his mission and get the spire online. The energy going to the tower and into the atmosphere turns red (as opposed to Richtofen's EE purple) signifying the energy is being sent to Maxis instead. Maxis - After activating the spire. “Yes, the spire is online! Now, if the other sites can be likewise and powered, then perhaps there is a chance to complete that which was begun so many years ago. Your help has been invaluable. Farewell.” The first spire is now online, and the crew successfully helps Maxis get one step closer to stopping Richtofen and saving the rest of mankind. Maxis' future plans begin to emerge. Maxis states he will need to get the "other sites" up and running like this one. Could the next location in our TranZit journey take us to another one of these makeshift HAARP towers? Or perhaps the HAARP Research Facility mentioned by the bus driver? Stage two seems imminent. Whatever future locations there may be, his ultimate goal is clear: a chance to complete that which was begun so many years ago. With Maxis' help, the fate of humanity is not lost just yet. So there we have it. An explanation for the events taking place during Green Run. I will continue to work on this thread and details in the upcoming days and weeks as more details are found on the Easter Egg. Please be patient while I add pictures, links, etc. As always, I just try to get my threads out as soon as possible, so please any ignore any grammatical errors for the time being. Now let me hear some feedback. Let's get discussing. Shooter
  19. The Model 23 is equipment, but considering it's also a weapon capable of killing zombies, it should be considered. It's probably a longshot. Anyone try it?
  20. There's more to the Maxis side. There almost has to be. The fsct that Maxis doesnt say anything after you complete the EE is just one inidicator IMO. It almost sounds like there are multiple radio towers being used in his EE. I ask again, can the current Maxis EE be done without doing Richtofens first? Just listen to Maxis' quotes closely, and you should have a good idea on what to do. You'll need the turbine throughout the egg is what it sounds like. I've got full analysis on both eggs coming tonight.
  21. Whoa whoa whoa hey now Jolteon it's not like this thread was wasted. There is most likely some sort of connection with New York or the Busline in the story of TranZit that's still waiting to be seen. This information could be extremely useful, we just don't know it yet. I'll be keeping my eye out for connection. I'm glad you posted this anyways Jolteon. Thank you!
  22. This. There's quite the story behind the bus and TranZit. So far we have a busline based out of New York, with license plates registered to Colorado, a stop through Nuketown, Nevada, and the Green Run map in Handord, Washington. Safe to say, thus bus has been around.
  23. Welcome to CoDz! Be sure to make a post in the Teammate Finder section of the forum when your looking for people to play with. Enjoy your stay! Shooter
  24. See Magna's post about 5 replies up.
  25. Let me be straightforward here. The guns DO NOT have any merit to the storyline. That's been common knowledge for a LONG time around the forum. Aside from Wonder Weapons and special grenades, the weapons are strictly there for gameplay purposes. Don't believe me? Well then explain how a American military issued M16 ended up in a secret German theater facility? Or why there were Cold War era weapons in a map based during WW2? The list goes on and on. If you try to connect the manufacturing date of each weapon to the actual map, you're going to end up with 20 dfferent possible dates . You can choose to base your theories on the weapons if you'd like, but it is extremely weak evidence to go on IMO. As for your "robot". While his movements might seem advanced, they are nothing more than complex animatronics. This is not some sure intelligent advanced robot some people see him as. He his simply an animatronic machine programmed to drive specific route, and to say Pre-recorded lines. Animtronics have been popular since the 1964 New York World's Fair, when an animatronic Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettyburg Address. It's a a robot folks, it's an anamtronic machine. I suggest anyone that doesn't know the difference to research before assuming this is an advanced robot, because it is not. Sp as far as the guns and bus driver being reasons why it cant take place in the 60's, I'm not convinced. It was a common belief before Black Ops 2 dropped that Moon did take place in 2011 or 2012, but now we just have too much evidence that points to the 60's. [*:2bd4jg4q]The cars, building, streetsign etc all match the 1960's timeframe.[*:2bd4jg4q] The bus' license plate states Colorado 1960.[*:2bd4jg4q] No Mans Land occured sometime in the 1960, which coincides with Moon. [*:2bd4jg4q] Maxis' bomb hits at the end of Nuketown, a map that takes place in the 1960. [*:2bd4jg4q] No current technologies are present in TranZit. While it's still unclear exactly what time TranZit occured, it's becoming harder and harder to deny that Maxis' bomb, and therefore Moon, occur sometime in the 1960. And if the blast did occur in the 60's, I have a hard time believing The events of TranZit take place more than 50 years after Maxis' bombing. Richtofen states he's still getting used to the Aether when the match begins, indicating the events of TranZit take place immediately after the bombing, placing the events of TranZit in the 60s as well. I would have like to go into more detail as provide some links, but I just got to work and have to use the IPhone to post.
