:D HELL YES! I can't even begin to say how much your videos have helped me over the last year or so CJ. I've easily racked up hundreds upon hundreds (upon hundreds) of views on your videos. The Moon quotes you uploaded provided a ridiculous amount of revelations with the storyline, as well as all your other uploads. Seriously dude, you're awesome for doing all this. Thank you! :)

That's the exact problem. You can spin that fact multiple ways. Magic: The power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces. Oh, you mean 115 and Samantha/Richtofen magical? Yup. Again, interpretation is a cruel mistress. EDIT: On a funny side note, the only thing the OP wrote was "?". And he edited it twice.

Happ7 Halloween from Treyarch's zombie team!
Shooter replied to WhosOnFirst's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It comes in a zip file (lol for a 6 second soundclip  ), so you need a way to unzip the file back to it's normal size. Most computers have a program to do it, or you can use a program like WinZip to do it. EDIT: Just click on the original link again if you're having problems. Looks like Treyarch realized it and provided some more popular download formats. Lol new guy at Treyarch goofed that one up or what? -
Hey now, I never said I didn't believe you Alpha. You could most definately be right with your theory as it has some supporting evidence, but it's not without it's questions as well. The point I was getting across is that we truly dont know for a fact who created the PaP, as there has never been any well enough documented or recorded evidence to say so. Implications both large and small might very well support the theory, but you still can't say 100% that for a fact. As for what exactly Takeo means by Black Magic, it could be him simply referencing a term he learned growing up for evil things in general. Japanese mythology goes back thousands of years, and was most likely a part of Takeo's life. Either way, we can't say for sure. Again not saying you're wrong or that I don't believe you, I just think it should be clear that we don't know undoubtedly who created it. Edit: As for the machine's multiple locations, it could all be traced back to Der Riese... Der Riese: Group 935 facility Kino: Group 935 facility (brought by Maxis) Five: Blueprints taken to Pentagon after Allies raid of Der Riese in 1945. Ascension: Blueprints taken after Allies raid of Der Riese in 1945. Call of the Dead: Group 935 facility Shangri La: Richtofen (only one with knowledge of Shangri La) brought it there. Moon (NML): Again, blueprints from Der Riese in 1945.

Happ7 Halloween from Treyarch's zombie team!

Dude MMX, you got jokes coming out the wazoo lately, and they're freakin' hilarious. I'm loving em! -
Yes, please provide the quotes or game files that say "The Pack-a-Punch was created by ______" I've already seen Tank's "Oorah Devil man" from SNN (which was from a Nuke BTW and not Pack-a-Punch). I've also seen Takeo's "Work your Black Magic Pack-A-Punch Machine" from Ascension. But neither one of those quotes says anything solid about who's actually responsible. Takeo mentions black magic quite a few times through BO and W@W, it's completely logical to interpret Takeo's quote as he just thinks everything is happening because of Black Magic. These quotes are circumstantial evidence. As I said, these things are open to extreme interpretation, and that is the problem. I just don't like to stand so confidentely behind something when it can be interpreted multiple ways. If you can provide me with some sort of game file or quote that actually says who created it and how it was created, and not things that are too open to interpretation, then I will agree with you (and praise and thank you for providing me with a file or quote I must've overlooked a thousand times) Until then, I'm not gona say for sure who's behind it.

Happ7 Halloween from Treyarch's zombie team!

No problem Lenne! I couldn't get the download working on my phone during work and wanted to hear it bad so I thought I'd upload that for anyone else stuck in that same situation. Also, I have a feeling this won't be the last time we hear Nolan's voice ;) -
That is strictly a matter of personal opinion. There is absolutely no evidence from any game files, sound quotes, etc. that prooves the Devil or Black Magic was any way involved in the creation of the machine. Sure, some connections can be made (I've seen your reasonings before in the thread you linked), but it is only circumstantial evidence, and is not a confirmation of anything. There's nothing in the game files or quotes or anything that says who created the machine. Porter assumingly had experience with the PaP machine as he he created the X2 Ray Gun, but even that is very circumstantial. Truth is, we can't say confidentely who made it. Just a matter of opinion I guess, but I'm a stickler for proof like game files, quotes, and all that kind of stuff. I like to leave as little as possible to interpretation.

This. Well said MMX. There's nothing documented that says who exactly created it, but like MMX said Porter was most likely involved in it.

A free Richtofen ringtone?!.....YES PLEASE!!! Thanks whosonfirst for posting this. And thanks to Treyarch for the free ringtone! -
It was discovered during the gameplay footage that Treyarch released to preview the Theater function for Zombies. It's also been stated in multiple interviews since then.

Open my presents two weeks early? Then what would I do on Christmas morning?! I've waited two years, I can handle another 13 days. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, it's been a common occuring bug since the release of Moon. It sometimes happens when a Gersch Device is thrown in the vicinity of an Astro Zombie. And if you want to post a video, you have to upload it to Youtube, and then use the Youtube function to display it. Here's a thread that'll help explain it. http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 93&t=22624

Honestly, yes, I believe there will be some sort of "ending". TranZit is story mode. Aside from the basic game mechanics, nothing is the same as the original zombies mode. This is the sole reason Survival Mode was created, so we can never lose the original zombies experience. The mode itself IS the Easter Egg, there as an ultimate goal we must reach as we explore the massive world. I'm sure there will be ALOT of side easter eggs that could possibly even change the overall ending, but the mode itself is an egg. There's no round counter because we're not playing to stay alive, we're playing to complete a goal (most likely find a safe haven or stop Richtofen or something like that). And on a side note, I'm becoming more and more confident in saying there will be a individual save function for this mode, allowing players to enter the world at will, hook up with their teammates, and save and quit whenever they want. The latest interview with GTTV provided some hints at it: "We wanted to do an epic size map, something bigger than anything we've ever done. An open world-ish and really challenges the core gameplay, but we also realize people didn't want to spend 2,3,4 hours playing zombies, they wanted to jump in and get that experience. So we've thought, let's do smaller bit size things, that are contained. And offer them the ability to jump quickly in, get some zombie killing in, and run to work."

Logical Proof that BOII Zombies is set in Modern Time/2020's
Shooter replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Story Discussion
I definitely see what you're saying. I've gone over it numerous times and it really just depends on what order of events you follow, history's or Richtofen's. I choose to follow the events of the time travelers, as they are the ones changing history as we see it. It just happens that the two points in time we visit after CotD (Shangri La and Moon) take place during 2011 and 2012 chronologically (any time after CotD really). This explains why CotD isn't yet affected when we visit, but we still don't necessarily have to follow a traditional timeline theory like you propose. I hope you're still with me haha. I lost myself in the middle of that. Honestly, it just comes down to what timeline theory you believe in: traditional, predestined, and so on and so forth. Doc Brown and Back to the Future has taught the simple ideas behind time travel and timeline theories, and Treyarch as suggested it many times. Here's a smiple little article that might help explain it. http://www.overthinkingit.com/2009/01/1 ... he-future/ -
Awesome dude thanks for making an intro and joining up here! And feel free to say whatever you wanna say. We're all friends here. There's been plenty of shy people that joined here and have really come out of their shells after sticking around. CoDz has that effect on people. Again thanks for taking the time to make an intro. See you around! Shooter :)

Logical Proof that BOII Zombies is set in Modern Time/2020's
Shooter replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Story Discussion
Agreed. It's been a common belief amongst some of us theory guys for some quite some time that it does indeed occur sometime in 2011 or 2012. All the banner represents in Area 51 is that the outbreak occured in the 60's, and not when the gang visits in Moon. It's logical that the bodies could have been there and only became active when the gang arrived. In fact, if it does happen to fall on December 21, 2012, I'll have hit this one out the ballpark: http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/view ... 41#p210538 Edit: Also note that Time Travel is not always that simple. Just think about it, if Richtofen travels to CotD in 2012 BEFORE blowing up the Moon back in 1960, why would the earlier trip to Call of the Dead be affected? Richtofen hasn't gone in the past and blown it up yet, so it wouldn't have been destroyed yet. It's all dependent on the order of events in which the time traveler takes. -
C'mon guys they're not the same! That dude from the film Re-Animator clearly has a first generation Bic Mainline Ballpoint Pen circa 1972 in his pocket. While the guy from TranZit has the king of all pens, the finest of fine writing instruments made from the newest pen technologies available. The one and only Pilot Vanishing Point Fine Nib Fountain Pen! What a beauty she is! Haha sorry I couldn't help myself. Really cool connection, but probably just a coincidence. We'll find out soon enough!

I admire your ambition. This will be an extremely exhausting task to say the least. This Zombies season is going to be huge, so we're in for quite a workload this upcoming year. But if you can pull it off, it will be a thread of legends. I plan on fully covering anything involved in the story of TranZit and any other related modes or maps that are associated with the overall story. Hopefully we can work together in the very near future. ;)

James C. Burns points out LOTS of hidden info in the trailer
Shooter replied to luse's topic in General Zombies Discussion
So I just got home and watched the video, and I gotta say I'm really struggling to see a solid connection to Tank's grandchild or great grandchild or whatever (which is a pretty bold assumption IMO). The information Burns provides doesn't really tell us a whole lot at all. When does Dempsey crack his knuckles like that? I can't think of when he would do it like that? His Pack-a-punch animation is the same as all the characters. This new female character cracks her knuckles unlike every other person in zombies cracks their knuckles as far as I can tell. The animation is standard for all characters when Pack-a-Punching a weapon in previous games, and I can't think of any other times a character cracks their knuckles during the game. What am I missing? And the two quotes she says don't really provide any sort of help. Her tone isn't much of an identifier, and the statements are pretty vague. I could see these quotes coming from Samantha just as much as a granddaughter of Tank and just as much as a completely random woman. Also, I'm doubtful the items in the garage she's in has anything to do with the actual character. I don't think it's her actual garage, but just one you come across in the TranZit world. And on the activating of the zombie shield. I'm not sure if Burns was even looking that closely at the footage. The green light he says turn on after hitting the lock is already lit up before he hits the lock. I don't know... this just seems off. -

Tank's daughter? Really? Well it's possible I guess but... Dempsey was taken by Richtofen in 1945, meaning he had to have had his child before 1945. So either: A.) TranZit takes place in the late 60's early 70's (falling in line with NML, but leaving a possible paradox for CotD) Or B.) This is not Tank's daughter. (I suppose a granddaughter or Sam could still be possible) -
Welcome! Enjoy your stay!

That is badass. The artwork is simply stunning. Dave Crosland is one hell of an artist.

Black Ops 2 Zombies “Fuel Efficient Achievement” Opinion
Shooter replied to MystikMiami's topic in TranZit
A lawnmower is the complete opposite of a "fuel efficient" vehicle.Two-stroke engines like the ones you'd find in any typical lawnmower are inherently bad at producing good fuel economy. This is due to a decent amount of the air/fuel charge escaping out the exhaust before combustion. The self-propulsion system you mentioned runs off this same fuel devouring engine. The achievement is most likely a reference to traveling on foot or possibly by horse.
